There's not really any exchanges for folks in the US that allow both trading AND moving coins/fiat out in a timely manner. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Keep an eye on CampBX. It's a small market now, but next week when ACH transfers are supported getting funds in and out should be pretty good.

And why 21 million Bitcoins, why not just 1? With infinite divisibility why do you need more than 1?
It would make absolutely no difference.

price crashing now because of this news ?
Time to grab some cheap $420 coins before China wakes up.

You've gotta put yourself in the heads of the average Walmart shopper. Try to get them to use Bitcoin... are you kidding me? Not with current technology.
Have you seen the self checkout isles? Those are far harder to use than a smartphone bitcoin wallet.

Everyone will be unloading soon, and the price will correct.
The more it goes up, the less likely I am to sell. I don't think I'm alone in that view.

Which statement is true:
A) 1 btc < (.5 btc + .5 btc) B) 1 btc = (.5 btc + .5 btc) C) 1 btc > (.5 btc + .5 btc)

Bitcoins are just ledger values. You see no issue with more potential ledger values being created on the basis of a Russian doll style fractionisation of existing Bitcoin subunits? This allow for an infinity of potential ledger values.
ROFLMAO. Which is more? A) $1 B) $1.00 C) $1.0000

Would the FBI really dump on exchanges though? They have a mechanism for auctioning off proceeds of crime right now, don't they? Sure it would be a bargain for the coins, but all they have to do is list them as "lot xxx - 174,000 BTC" on whatever government auction site they currently have. Bidding starts at $100. Winner would take ownership of the private keys and then do as they wish. While they would be smarter to sell on exchanges, as you point out above, it's not aboue them being smart. It's not like they sell cars through car dealers or houses through real estate agents.
That's one auction I would very much like to attend. I wonder what payment methods the FBI accepts. Get the coins then reverse the payment. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Knowing that a dollar bill can be divided into 100 pennies does not change my opinion of dollars.
And what if it was decided one day that it could be divided into 1000? LOL. Thanks for the brilliant comedy! Are you a professional comedian IRL?

my wife says " your money is my money " ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Gotta hide coins from wife now. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The "I was hacked!" defense for missing coins works every time.

That's just 420 on one exchange. You need to celebrate when it hits 420 on each and every exchange!

So KnC is the industry leader now. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) KnC and Bitfury are virtually tied. Although neither is taking orders right now.

Power costs meant something on miners less than 1 Gh... it might mean something again next summer or next fall but only if the miners are dirt cheap. This isn't 40W a Gh anymore
So you're saying it's ok to lie on a press release, because it's not a very significant issue?

Plenty of companies do the "low product price with 100% to 300% markup on shipping" and plenty do the "higher margin product price with FREEEE FREEEE FREEE (did I mention FREEEEEEE) shipping". Both work. KNC chose the former. If they chose the later you would have people complaining the price was too high and the FRREEEEEEEEE shipping was just a gimmick.
There's also companies that have web devs that know how to issue a query to the mail carrier's API and retreive the actual cost for the package and have the customer pay the actual cost of shipping.

Yeah, but that same article states, "The design offers the industry’s leading performance (576Gh/s) and power consumption (under 1w/Gh/s at the wall)...".
Bitfury has lower power consumption.

Regular USD wires are stuck back in June. 5% fee manual withdrawl wires are backlogged a few weeks (and I suspect growing rapidly).

If this rally continues, the exchange rate will reach 100,000,000 satoshis per bitcoin!

"Yes! I pre-ordered the Monarch and I have high HOPEs BFL will deliver on time" I hope your right! If BFL comes through and delivers on time i promise never again to post a negative post on them ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And if they're late you promise to never post a positive post on them?
