2861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: September 29, 2021, 08:16:13 PM
when we read the news, the media always repeat the same words, the media always focus on the news about China banning the use of any form of krypto, even though we all know China is the second country to adopt bitcoin, but I wonder why the negative news about China always appear, maybe the media crew is looking for profit and increasing everyone's interest in reading, so that they can increase their income, honestly I am dizzy with this news, is this news true or just fake news...

Don't listen to Perma bears. It’s almost like the FUD is created so they can justify the dump in order to take stupid money.
And if you give up on FUD, you will have a hard time profiting from crypto.

That's right because when the whales play the manipulation game, they take the money of the weak hands as they easily dump when they see a FUD and buy when there's hype because they got FOMO. In order to profit in crypto investing, you need to be clever, understand how the market work and do not underestimate the power of the whales to manipulate the market.
2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which is easier? on: September 27, 2021, 02:55:49 PM
To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.
2863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: September 27, 2021, 01:49:34 PM
I have seen this same scenario last bull market when bitcoin reach new ATH at aroun 20k$ china create news and FUDs regarding banning or cryptocurrencies and mining on their country but it turns out it is just a way to manipulate the market to store plenty of cryptos then create once again FOMO news.
is it a scenario devised by the Chinese government to manipulate the crypto market?
Or maybe it's the Chinese government that doesn't like how the investment shifts in their country?
I don't care if it's FUD or FOMO being popularized. but it is troubling a lot of people in the crypto market.
I doubt that unless they are holding bitcoin and continuously accumulating by buying at the dip. I don't really think so because if the government holds bitcoin they will support bitcoin by making it legal or maybe a legal currency like El Salvador did. China is always against bitcoin and related transactions, now they ban the whole crypto market, so it's a serious statement that they don't like decentralization.
2864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 27, 2021, 11:55:27 AM
That was really shocking, just imagine, Canelo just bully Callum Smith in their fight and he bounced back with a very big win. You can also tell that Canelo is just too superior that he can make a good boxer look bad when they are in the ring.

Castillon is fine now by the way https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/9/25/22693564/update-lenin-castillo-hospital-fine-after-frightening-knockout-callum-smith-dazn-boxing-news-2021

The writing on the wall is clear.. Canelo is just dominating his weight class, similar to what Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Wladimir Klitschko and GGG did during their peak years. He is just 31 years old and I don't foresee any significant competition for him in the next 2-3 years at least. And I am really getting worried about Caleb. He made a few statements (probably being told to do so by the organizers), and it might have got Canelo really irritated. I am afraid that Caleb will be beaten to pulp on November 6th.

Most probably he will be beaten up, but as a boxer, he knows the risk of what he is doing and he is surely still confident that he can upset Canelo because he has not tasted a loss yet. If he is really a great boxer, then he should not be afraid of Canelo, this is a competition, if you want to be the best, you need to beat your toughest opponent, and that is no other than Canelo Alvarez.
2865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 27, 2021, 11:24:28 AM

Nah, they have been team mates for many years and they didn't progress after they've lost to the eventual champion Toronto 3 years ago. On the contrary, this year was a total fluke, Joel got injured and then Ben choking against the Hawks and then all the blame was put to him that's why he has no longer a relationship to anyone in Philly and wanted to be traded this season. Sixers should be looking at other options for Joel now. And it seems that they believed on "the process" as they've sign him for a bigger contract. It's going to be Joel + Huh whoever they trade Simmons to.

They choose Embiid between these two stars, and for me it's really the right decision.

Letting Simmons go and allow another good star to work with him. If the boy really wanted to go, then let it be.
I don't see any further development with this issue.

Seems that Sixers is willing to bench him till another offer from another team that gives them some decent
equality with their assets. Still waiting to where this drama will proceed.

Hopefully, the 76ers will decide soon as they are the ones who will be affected so much here, they will continue to bench Simmons and Simmons will continue to receive his salary, but the team will be missing a player that will contribute in the absence of Simmons. If they believe their current lineup can still bring the team to the playoffs, then maybe it's okay, but they should also consider getting a good ranking as it's very important during the playoffs, you know, home court advantage is a big edge.
2866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 27, 2021, 08:24:39 AM
Too bad that the association doesn't want Casimero and Donaire to face each other because it's going to be a good match since they both have a beef with each other so we can expect rage in both fighters but no it doesn't happen, even Inoue's wish to fight Casimero didn't come true as he too is pissed off with Casimero.

It's already set but there's an issue that happened that leads Donaire to cancel the fight. I don't understand why some people here are upset about the assigned match to Casimero and Donaire. The fight is just hype here in the thread but overall, it's not. Donaire and Casimero just need to settle their respective match. Their fight will be arranged soon together with Inoue. That's for sure.

For sure, but some fans could not wait anymore because they got hype by the possible big fight that could be witnessed between Donaire and Inoue, a rematch actually. Turns out, we will have to wait for a little longer as Donaire has to take care of Gaballo first before he can proceed to his original plan.
2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 27, 2021, 07:50:21 AM
But this guy is taking the initiative.
Quote
“If a guy’s not getting vaccinated because of his religion, I feel like we’re in a time where the religion and science has to go together,” Kanter said, via Rolling Stone. “I’ve talked to a lot of religious guys, I’m like, ‘It saves people’s lives, so what is more important than that?'”
That's Enes Kanter, a Muslim and I know Muslims have a strong religious belief and they abide by it with full discipline. Do we have any Muslim brothers here who can enlighten us about the rules on vaccinations or anything near it? Is it okay as long as there is no blood related issues or as long as it is for necessity and can save more lives?
Vaccines were not created before, while the teaching that the Muslims have come from the past centuries, or the time that God become human on earth, so I don't think it should be against the religion getting vaccinated. Not a historian though, I'm also not a Muslim but that is my opinion but that's the simple logic I understood.
2868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 26, 2021, 09:49:00 PM
I'm pretty sure that he knows about the virus and the lockdown situation and the bubble last year. But he is playing the religion card here, so what can we do? If he chooses to ignore the NBA then this will be another situation and drama prior to the start of the season. So I would say that this is really a stupid move from Wiggins, this virus knows no boundaries and worst he can be infected and he can be a carrier in the NBA wherein they are trying to clear and be back to "normal".

You cannot make these kinds of decisions in these crucial deadly times. I feel that he should be penalized for this type of conduct. He is both risking his, his teammates, and his organization's matches and health in jeopardy. This cannot happen. Otherwise, he gets vaccinated, the Warriors won't play him from what I'm understanding and that will hamper their gameplay every week. He has been a very consistent SF for the Warriors by scoring about 19 points a game and getting 5 rebounds a game last season. Not to forget about the 2.4 assists he provided on average per game. Let's see what decisions the management takes after this.

The decision is already final, there's a rule and there's no exemption to the rule, either he gets vaccinated or he is not allowed to play, and if he will not play, he would not get paid and it will have a big effect on the performance of the team knowing that Klay Thompson is still not available until December this year per report.

The players union has gotten involved and said no to a vaccine mandate. This situation could get a lot bigger than people think very quickly. Right now Wiggins and Irving are taking the heat, but I’m sure there are dozens if not hundreds of other NBA players who aren’t vaccinated and don’t plan to be. Considering they have likely a 0% risk of dying from covid, I understand their position. I wouldn’t take it either. Common sense is starting to prevail and people have had enough. Even the democrats are getting sick of this level of sought control.

If I understand it correctly, the vaccine would only increase your immune system fighting the virus, and these players are fit enough that they can still be healthy even if they got infected. When you are vaccinated, you will still be infected, so I understand their position, but if the rules will be that strict, I don't know how they would end this to serve those who prefer not to get vaccinated.
2869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 26, 2021, 09:20:53 PM
if casimero win and donaire win, will there be a chance of unification of WBO and WBC?

If they can't get Inoue, then it's possible that Casimero and Donaire will fight for the unification belt, and then winner goes up against Inoue for all the major belt unification. So a lot is on the line here and Casimero and Donaire needed to win against their respective opponent. If either of one or both has been upset then this potential fight has to wait. Just like what happen to Joshua, there's a lot of talks between him and Fury, but Usyk derail all the plans.

So it means this is still very dangerous fight for Casimero and he shouldn't take Butler lightly as the plan can be hindered by Butler himself. The 3 names we have in this division, is him, then Inoue and Donaire.

A win by Casimero will give him a nice paycheck and we may finally see the Casimero and Donaire finally as he already send his apologies to the Filipino Flash.

Any fighter is always a dangerous fighter especially if the KO rate is high.

Casimero is a warrior, he wins fights in a different venue or by fighting in his opponent's country, so I don't think he will get intimidated by any opponent, fighting in the familiar venue. Butler may have the power, but look at his 2 loses, one from Tete and one from Rodriguez which Inoue and Gaballo beaten.
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk? on: September 26, 2021, 11:57:32 AM
I see Dogecoin in the Top 5 tbh. Dogecoin is the chance to show that finance is not the playground of the big boys anymore. Diamond Hands
Don't be silly bro, on which site did you see that Dogecoin is ranked fifth? while I see Dogecoin ranked tenth on the coinmarketcap site,
could you share the link here so I can see it now.
The correct rank is number 10 at the moment, we can see it in https://coinmarketcap.com/.

Dogecoin is at number 10 is obviously overvalued, and yes, without Elon Musk hypging DOGE, it will not survive.
Elon is just silent as he knows those who are still holding DOGE if they will not see some improvement might just dump it at a lose, and eventually DOGE will dump like a shit coin.
2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 26, 2021, 08:43:34 AM
The drama made it more appealing to the media, it doesn't even matter whether whose fault that was I just wanna bet. Caleb seems confident but I can't see him winning when Canelo is still a very young man as he is. You can tell how fast the response to hit back after a slap to his face.
Indeed, regardless of the reason of that incident the fact is it gave an extra spice of their upcoming fight. Its not started yet but Canelo seems ahead already to Caleb leaving him with a visible cut. But I think it can be prevented if only there's someone close who can calm their heated argument.

Oh well this is a must watch fight that we cant be missed.
I hope Caleb was not worried about what happened to him as he could get more cuts during the actual fight. There's a reason why he is an underdog because he is not really good in boxing although is undefeated, he is good with trash-talking only.

Disrespect a champion and you will experience revenge from him in the actual fight, he should fear what would happen to him as the last time Canelo fought, his opponent got surgery because it was badly beaten.

Expect that he is worried because he got a cut in that day, and he felt how strong Canelo is that he had a cut even it's not the actual fight yet.

Meanwhile, Callum Smith the fighter that Canelo beat in his past fight just had a big win by brutal KO against Lenin Castillo.

2872  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: September 26, 2021, 07:54:24 AM
Though market is unpredictable, I am sure, Bitcoin might not fall back back to below $30k. It has set up its mile stone already moving forward. We have more demands now for Bitcoin. Its growth in the market now is fabulous. Its stable and steady between $40k to $49k to see its bull market very soon. We are top ahead from 2018's market. We must start looking forward and support Bitcoin reach next ATH.
Well, it has already fallen back below $30k this year, have you forgotten already when the correction happened? though it's a short correction it resulted in bitcoin dumping below $30k, the actual price was over $29k and you can see that in the price history using the YTD data here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: New (old) FUD coming from China? on: September 26, 2021, 06:53:34 AM
Disregard that news and forget about China as they completely failed to adapt to crypto. The biggest popular in the world could have been good news if they will adopt, but things happen and it's old news so there's nothing to panic about, besides, the crypto world will still survive even without China or other big countries might do the same restrictions.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get in early on certain alts? What's your source.. on: September 25, 2021, 08:28:36 PM
I always check in this forum as information is more reliable compared to what I can read on a certain website where the author could only be biased. Also, I watch youtube videos about people who are crypto enthusiasts and gives their opinion on a certain coin that has potential, and I do confirm it in the forum, it's actually my basis before I make a final decision as I can ask for an opinion which I believe members could give me an honest one.
2875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: September 25, 2021, 07:44:28 PM
So is the current price drop a correction before the bitcoin price jumps and reaches $100k?
to reach $100k before the end of the year means the bitcoin price must increase by more than 100% in 3 months. and if you look at the current market conditions it seems difficult to happen, even to penetrate $50k until now bitcoin has not been able to.
nothing is impossible especially with bitcoin $100k in later this year...

it has often happened, bitcoin prices flew high at the end of the year, I saw positive news about bitcoin being able to stem FUD. even I myself believe the price of bitcoin will pass $100k before this year ends.

It needs a 2nd bull run if we want to see that $100k this year, IMO, it's not likely to happen as we already achieved an ATH of $64k and bitcoin is currently struggling to break to $50k, and it's likely to drop with the FUD happening now. Maybe $100k is possible next year, but I have a doubt this year though there's still plenty of time.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin dump, Ethereum pump! on: September 25, 2021, 06:58:51 PM
Please don't put that picture, lol..

Whether how many experts would say about bitcoin dumping and an altcoin will replace its dominance, I would never believe in that.

As what is shared, that guy in the picture is not a fan of bitcoin, so what can you expect from him, his statement is biased and he will not always appreciate the reality that bitcoin will dominate no matter what.
It's impossible for bitcoin to be dumped and replaced by altcoins, I think it's bitcoin haters who keep giving bad FUD.

So still bitcoin will have more fans than altcoins and this is also how it is completely dominated by bitcoin, if the dumping happens it will follow all altcoins that move down, so what JP morgan said is the person I never responded to .

It's unlikely but not impossible I guess, the market is very unpredictable, and although bitcoin is already at the top now, the crypto market will still exist and continue to be popular if an altcoin will lead it. I'm not convinced of what he said too, but I will have to digest this kind of negative opinion about bitcoin as it's important if you are investing in a high-risk market.
2877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: September 24, 2021, 09:19:27 PM
Though I would say it has a big impact on the market, but we are getting used to it already, China is not a bitcoin or crypto-friendly country, they have a different style of government, so we just have to accept the fact that they will not support bitcoin.

But, look at the market on how big we are, FUD is normal, we should be thankful it happen soon because we still have the last quarter to recover but always prepare for a possible huge dump as it might have a temporary effect especially if the whales will try to ride and manipulate.
2878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Not all altcoins will recover on: September 24, 2021, 08:49:48 PM
I strongly agree that it is impossible for all altcoins to recover and return to stability.
so everything also depends on market conditions, both bullish and bearish, and the factor of the altcoin price itself.
I could attest that until now, most of the altcoins I purchased 4 years ago are still worthless now, though some of them still are in exchanges they are not moving like I expect them to move. The problem with holding a lot of altcoins is that you will miss monitoring every update of each coin, and that would result in a big loss especially if teams decided to do a swap.
2879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: September 24, 2021, 12:13:22 PM
The bull trend in the market have turned bearish. How long this trend will continue can't be predicted. Right now it isn't the time to sell, because the market is in the state of fluctuation. In my view the present situation is to acquire more and more volume of cryptocurrencies, because over the falling months there is more chance of transition to bull trend.

for those who have seen this market many times over. this is just one part where your patience and belief will be tested. for many smart investors, this is the time to accumulate valuable coins that have high chance to go up once the market starts going up again. it may not be tomorrow or in the next few weeks, but if a user can hold for longer time up until he got his target profits, then it is all worth it. selling everything is really up to the user. he can ask all the people he knows but it all boils down to his final decision.

That's the basic principle in investing, always see the opportunity as this market is very volatile, it may pump and dump hard, and you should always see the opportunity in the different market situations. I know some would panic but for sure they will learn if they consider bitcoin as the future of money.

Bull run will end and it's normal as it's part of the cycle.
