The drama made it more appealing to the media, it doesn't even matter whether whose fault that was I just wanna bet. Caleb seems confident but I can't see him winning when Canelo is still a very young man as he is. You can tell how fast the response to hit back after a slap to his face.

Indeed, regardless of the reason of that incident the fact is it gave an extra spice of their upcoming fight. Yeah, watch some video of Canelo being interviewed both in Spanish and in English, and he is saying the same, Caleb is not on his level and this is a very high level fight and no matter what Caleb is saying in the social media, Canelo will let Caleb pay for that inside the ring. And in those video's, Canelo is fast with those body shots and left hook and this will be his main weapon against Caleb, and for sure he can't take that because Canelo has one of the best hook in the business.

We will know in their coming fight if Caleb Plant's strategy is working, but I really doubt that because we know how smart Canelo is, he might show some weakness of not being able to control his emotion but you can see in his eyes how focus he is in the ring.

Viewership doesn't need to be increased, Canelo himself is already bankable star even out of boxing, so for me this is not scripted, Plant has been a keyboard warrior and try to be the alpha by verbally spatting with Canelo during their face off. But it's good to see Canelo acting like that, he needs to get out the feeling before the fight. And during the fight itself, it will be very different, all the emotions, what has been said will be boiling as Caleb crosses the line, specially about Canelo's mom. And Canelo predicted that he will KO Plant as he is fired up.
