2862  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining doubts on: July 26, 2016, 04:14:27 PM
Hello

Before reading many topics in this forum, because I'm live at Brazil, no way to buy some S7 or S9 or GPU to mine, BTC o ETH whatever ..
Price of electricity is very expensive ... kwh is + or - 9$ per day .. (average)
My question here is: When I talk here about cloud mining, each people indicate to use hashnest.com, but when used cloud mining at cex.io, i did not get good profits, and now, cex.io is not working with cloud mining anymore.
Would it be possible for you to refer me indicate to another cloud mining alternative that can be trusted ?

I have spend a good time to read and calc about values for ROI and found out that it is not a good idea to buy a S7 at hashnest according to these numbers:

initial cost for one s7 = 370$
4860GH/s
operating cost per day: 7.483$
operating cost per week: 52.38$
operating tcost per month: 224.5$

If this site: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty and my calculations is correct, to recover the investment of 370$ i would need two months.
Are these numbers correct ?

Is it worth the investment since everiday diffucult increases and ROI decreases ?

Thanks for the help !

That looks right to me but did you remember to properly factor in the change in difficulty ? Will the miners be in operation 24/7 ?
I think the main factor is how long it would take for the miner to get here, remmeber the longer it takes the more money you are losing. You need to factor these things into the equation as well.

2864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to buy without stupid "security" "features" ! on: July 26, 2016, 12:43:30 PM
Hi, I'm not bothered about privacy, I just want to buy some BTC with a debit card the same as buying anything else online. Any suggestions?

I'm not interested in scanning in My ID, or doing phone verification, etc. I may as well use banker money if that's a requirement. Also could anyone explain why buying bitcoin seems to be like the old days when a guy had to walk in front of a car waving a flag?

Thanks a lot and all the best,
Andy

Give localbitcoin.com a go. They don't ask for ID only some vendors do. It is just a matter of making a simple bank transfer into their account and then be paid in bitcoin. Or vice versa. They use escrow as well so the protection is good. There is also a time frame before it cancels the order adding more security.
2865  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coindesk banned this post two times on: July 26, 2016, 11:56:16 AM
people have reported before that Coindesk censors the comments on their site. so this is nothing strange in my opinion. they may be protecting some interest of their own by blocking anything remotely negative about anything they don't like!

One of the first giveaways of a scam or something being hidden is the lack of negative comments. Every company no matter how good has negative comments it is very suspicious when there are no complaints. I would never trust any company that has no complaints it just doesn't add up. A complaint is not going to make me less likely to follow buy or invest in something.
2866  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RoyalMiner - Scam or real? on: July 26, 2016, 11:34:35 AM
Okay, so I don't know if this is the correct category to put this topic into, but I just found this website: https://royalminer.net/, promising something very similar to the cloud mining: you have to download their software and you get "AT LEAST 0.0021BTC/hr". This site has just appeared and looks very sketchy to me: "Total Downloads" and "Mining Right Now" statistics are not changing, website is new, promises something you pretty much can't achieve with any other mining thingy (except cloud mining, which is also proved to be a scam). Where can I check this file to see if it's infected or not?

Do you honestly have to ask this question ?
The site is not even up. What is the point of this ? You know it is a scam any idiot can see it from a mile away.
Miniumum 0.002btc an hour !! sure sure !! Ill buy cheap ass pcs and run them all over night and make like 0.25btc NOT !!!
2867  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My GOLD in mining page does not increase on: July 26, 2016, 11:31:53 AM
As the title says, please help me at my account. I observed it twice, but the gold still not increase!

hi. i can tell your using eobot as it's the only place you can "mine gold"

i bet the answer lies in your hashpower there. here's a breakdown --

gold costs around 2.03BTC per troy OZ.

if you consider that say, 500gh/s brings in 0.40$USD a day, then realize the "mining of gold"  (its really just a payout option tho), will take a while.

hence, your "gold mining" will NOT increase quickly, unless you have over 5000 gh/s that is Wink THEN you will see it running.

btw. even with under 1000GH/S it WILL TICK UP. just super slow, might take 4 mins for ONE tick Wink

hope that helps!
Happy Mining! Wink

Sounds like A relly bad investment to me. A mere $0.40 a day. That is bad, are they trusted ? What ROI time is it ? Minimum of $25 invesment. Is it a ponzi or true ? Thank you for the help.
2868  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best site to start trading? on: July 26, 2016, 11:26:22 AM
So i am basically searching for a reputable/trusted trading site,
where i am able to deposit with bitcoin, and withdraw, with the lowest fees possible, because i'm pretty new to this "trading", and i want to start with low amounts.
It would also be great if the site included trading in Altcoins + CFDs

If you have any suggestions, please let me know !

I always use Yobit, they work well they quick most wallets work (sometimes some are down and don't go up but most go up again) There is
a chat box that is great for speculation and discussions. Yobit also have a very large selection of coins and a great volume. It is my personally preferred exchange.
2869  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forums on: July 26, 2016, 11:21:16 AM
Whilst it is not entirely a bitcoin forum there is a lot of bitcoin things and threads and boards there. I would say well over 50% is bitcoin related

thebot.net

Thanks for this list it's really helpful Smiley
2870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many BTC do you gamble with? on: July 26, 2016, 10:39:26 AM
I'm not into risking so much amount in gambling that's why it's less than BTC0.1. Another thing is that, I'm not playing everyday and honestly, I don't prefer to play again with my coins. It seems that many of us here spent less than BTC0.1, good thing that most are still in control.
If I were to try out a game, I would only send in about BTC0.0025 for trial and if I get the mechanics of the game, I'd send in an additional BTC0.01. That's about the limit of coins that I play everyday since I do not really get that much from signature campaigns. I do have other sources of bitcoins but I do not use them for gambling.

I think I will adopt your idea of trying out with a trial amount then just putting to much in. The no deposit bonuses work wonders when it comes to trying out new casinos. I also really enjoy the deposit bonuses although I have never won anything with them.
2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: July 26, 2016, 10:36:07 AM
There needs to be a third option - losing consistently small amounts. That is not losing shitloads and not being smart either haha Smiley

Gambling is super fun though  Cool

Rather miss small amounts trying to get a big win that will make up to all the loses then to have big loses all the time that you might not be able to be paid off very easily but one big win pays off the losses and maybe even more so you get a good profit.
2872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 26, 2016, 08:52:26 AM
Trading is alot better. Gambling is too unknown and risky and you never know or have a feeling about anything. There is nothing to really inform yourself about when gambling. When you trade however there is alot we can learn and practice. We can also have a good feeiling about the market since you can analyze it. Trading is just more fun anyway.
2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting Bitcoin based Casino on: July 26, 2016, 08:25:29 AM
Why would you want to go with softswiss and betsoft ? There has been so much controversy about those sort of games . Why not get your game games and make them from scratch ? If you net a dev that is fine you can hire one. You should be expecting to pay so this shouldn't be a problem. That is a main thing for me as a player. I don't trust these funny devs like betsoft etc.

Another thing that would be great is honesty and good response. Don't make excuses not to payout a player for a bonus or any other reason. Just honour your agreement and pay up. That alone will get you a few more customers.

Lastly have some good welcome bonuses as well as free bonuses as well. Don't make them for to much and don't much silly rules and set the wager requirements to something reasonable. Show people you paying out on wins.

Lol basically watch watch the sites that people complain about most and do the opposite of what they doing ^^
2874  Economy / Gambling / Re: Awesome Dice ★ AwesomeDice.net on: July 26, 2016, 08:16:31 AM
As far as I know there has been nothing like this before. Such a nice looking program. I like the opaque and semi transparent look it has. It's very soft and elegant . It looks like there is a good road map going on there as well. Good to see yet another dev taking a different look on things.  Cheesy
2875  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Crunchyroll 1X Premium 99$ only for $5 on: July 25, 2016, 10:28:28 PM
This account is probably stolen.
Can you prove it's yours?

I was also thinking that. How can it be so cheap ?
2876  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 0.99% Fees for BitcoinTalk members! Start Shopping at Shopawl.com on: July 25, 2016, 10:18:47 PM
I'm a little confused.

What is the normal fee and more importantly what are you charging the fee for? A service charge for us to buy something from you?

Also just a side note: people aren't going to link their real life Facebook to your website because then it would be linked to their bitcointalk account. I don't want people to know my name and address online!

Good points I was thinking the same. I don't think anyone wants to connect their facebook.

So OP what is the deal ?

2880  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling game keys 25% off on: July 25, 2016, 08:24:22 PM
You not really making so much sense so I don't have much faith in this but i do like games ^^
You say 25% off in the title and $25 in the thread. It can't be $25 so I assume you made a mistake. How are you able to get 25% off and is this for any game ?
