2861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining low difficulty coins on: June 04, 2019, 09:32:20 PM
I just ordered a cuple GPUs to get back into mining and wanted to do speculative altcoin mining, is there a resource that would list me new or current supported low difficulty altcoins? i tried with coinwarz but not having much luck..

i need

- coin that is currently minable
- coin that is listed on known exchanges
- coin that has very low difficulty

i dont care what its worth im willing to take a risk by mining lots of it

thanks for info
Why don't you care? That's not a right step because for example you can mine on nicehash and earn more rather than mine low difficulty coins and earn small. To make clear everything, I mean following: Mine most profitable coin and then buy that low difficulty coin, this way you'll be in much profit and you'll collect more low difficulty coins rather than by mining them.
2862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins and how they affect market in a longterm? on: June 04, 2019, 08:31:02 PM
I'm trying to figure what's the effect of all lost coins in a longterm

I understand all lost BTC are in blockchain, they are not "lost", but people probably forgot them or lost the private keys to access
People only says it's good because of the scarcity, our "active" BTC will value more

But all energy and efforts to generate these BTC are for nothing to?
Is there any word of the devs about this?
Do you think someday devs will discuss about?
At first there was little energy/affort for generating bitcoin, all of these changed after long term so I think yeah, lost bitcoins will give more value to active ones.
Despite the fact that they are in Blockchain, they are lost like a lot of people who are in our memory but are gone. So this lost numbers of bitcoins still can affect pricr at some point but in overall, they are lost, aren't part of active coins and price fully comes on active ones.
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Vote] Next coin to be added to Stake.com & Primedice on: June 04, 2019, 08:03:05 PM
Right now Stake/PD like most crypto casinos accept BTC,ETH,LTC,DOGE,BCH. While you can exchange any coin you want using a built in third-party tool, we want to consider adding native support for more coins.

This should be helpful for our site and others to see what other coins are hot in this scene. Something we've noticed is there isn't necessarily a direct correlation between market cap and usage of coins. If you don't see your coin listed, feel free to post below and I'll tally it.

Thank you!
Totally agree, there is no direct correlation between market cap and usage coins because for example we had huge demand on burstcoin while this coin doesn't seem popular according to coinmarketcap.
I voted for USDT and binance coin. To my mind adding of these two will be great because when btc price rises/falls, it usually affects of how much bankroll do gamblers consider while gambling and I choose binance coin because binance is popular exchange service and it will be more affordable to consider it too.
2864  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: June 04, 2019, 07:10:40 PM
Title made me to think something:
1. What is the real value of coin which promises anonimity, protecting of privacy and fast/cheap transactions and overall control on your own wallet.
2. What's the real value of coin which become victim of commercial guys and a lot of regulations?
First one has huge value and second one - none but bitcoin is in the middle. It doesn't answer to your question directly but here is some truth and answer.
2865  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoins Cash-in-person trades removed? on: June 04, 2019, 06:23:36 PM
wow, it's the end of an era. localbitcoins p2p cash trades were the bomb a few years ago. i can't say specifically what is triggering this, but it seems like localbitcoins is just getting increasingly rigid with the AML/KYC stuff.

p2p cash trades were a way to avoid the escrow system and therefore KYC so i'm not surprised they've been removed. sucks though. Undecided

My current analysis of the legality is that it is highly illegal to sell bitcoins as a business in the US, and anyone attempting to do so should be very cautious.

not true. you need to register as an MSB and carefully comply with AML/KYC and currency reporting regulations though.
Not the end because you know, there will be always different and difficult ways because there is demand and supply, this both works in synergy against difficulties which are set baffle them.
Btw if anyone knows, were there reports of some crime/murders and robbing when trading bitcoin cash-in-person? Will be interesting to know if this was the reason of removing this option.
2866  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price will never be seen again? on: June 03, 2019, 10:05:03 PM
When people discuss Bitcoin's price, sometimes they tell that some price will never be seen again, because the market will be so bullish in the future, that even new bottoms will be higher than that price. The only way it won't hold true is if Bitcoin will be truly dying, but there's absolutely no reason to think that it will happen as of now.

So, let's predict what price will never be seen again! I think we won't see anything lower than $5,700 ever again, and the next few weeks is the last opportunity for bearish movements that can bring Bitcoin to below $6,000.
Bitcoin went from 20K to 3K and why do you decline that there is no way current 8k will fall on 6k?
Bte I think we will never see 1000$ bitcoin again and have some valid arguments: 1K usd was barrier which was almost impossible to surpass but we did it and this action was reason of further rise, even of 20k so if price will fall under 1k, I think bitcoin can be considered as destroyed and coin will just die.
2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instead of Gambling Invest in the BANKROLL on: June 03, 2019, 09:04:35 PM
I know people in this subection are probably going to be against this sort of rhetoric, though I know that most people here are avid gamblers. Which is fine, though there is a problem that arises when you gamble all the time -- you're not going to be making any money, and all you're doing is losing.

Wouldn't you much rather invest in the bankroll of a gambling website, so you'd be able to make some money off of people like you?

I do understand that there is risk in giving other people access to your BTC (or whatever coin you choose) though that same risk is present when you gamble and put coins on the platform.

There is a limited number of casinos which offer investments in their bankroll and there is a reason: You can't prove that you are fair with investors because when you are owner, you know server seeds and can register and win as much as you wish which will automatically leads to loss for investors. I don't say some casinos do it but still this is the reason of why there is a limited number of investments welcome casinos.
Btw on another hand it's not much profitable to invest in casinos because they take additional fee from investors too in order to cover server/suppory and etc fees.
2868  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Google Adwords -- is it opened for crypto projects? on: June 03, 2019, 04:16:30 PM
Google Support told me yesterday: "USA and Japan --the only countries where you can publish ads".
Me: "But I can see a number of crypto ads in google in Germany -- what is the f**k?"
Google Support: "You may report to us -- and we'll abuse all of them"

In other words: Hey, we accept ads from anyone. You might advertise a banned product but we'll only take it down after somebody reported you. Take care guys.
They may miss something and I think it should not be a problem.
OP so now you know what to advertise and which countries must be your target, don't break their rules because you need good positions in google anyway.
For promoting, to my mind another great alternative of adsense is publishing paid articles on websites like cointelegraph, ccn and etc.
2869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: June 03, 2019, 03:38:45 PM
We don't.

Every new exchange has one ultimate goal in mind - make some money for the creators. Some try to do that legitimately, but unfortunately the vast majority resort to shady and unscrupulous activities and behavior to do so, be that faking their volumes, faking their trades, insider trading, pumping and dumping, exit scamming, selling your data, the list goes on. "Launching a new exchange" and IEOs seem to have partly replaced "launching a new token" and ICOs as the fastest and easiest way for scammers to lure in unsuspecting newbies.

For your own safety, you should be sticking to the large, reputable, and well known exchanges, although even then your safety isn't guaranteed.
We don't need a lot of global exchanges but can't say the same on local ones, there is a lack of them in some countries and more exchanges in such countries can help to fall fees.
In overall, yeah, a lot of exchangers are faking their data in order to get better positions on coinmarketcap and get attention of new users.
Not fastest or easiest way for scamming but it's really easiest way to collect users' data like some do, block you for no reason and ask KYC to unlock account.
Nowdays there is none exchanger which you can trust, not even binance too, none of them is reliable.
2870  Other / Meta / Re: Should there be an option of adding 2fa for forum accounts? on: May 30, 2019, 11:58:45 PM
You guys think a lot around it, don't know why but still think. Everyone who is careful with his/her account, keeps it safe and there are such zillion members including known members too.
What about this option too (don't blame me, somehow just immediately came to my mind).
Every member will choose at any point one or two bitcoin adress and put it in their profile. For additional security, on every login attempt, forum will generate any random text and will require from you to sign message from your adress where you'll only sign that text which is generated from forum. Once you add key and text, forum will confirm if message is signed and after positive result, you'll login.
2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 30, 2019, 11:36:03 PM
I know this thread is old and there was this "problem" at that time but again it becomes "problem" nowdays. I put problem in " because how can it really ruin your gambling experience when some casinos (including one which I promote) offer a lot of altcoins from which some of them have risen and some of them have fallen. Price of btc isn't problem for you, just use built in exchange and play with coin that had fall these days or just grow number of bitcoins a little.
2872  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is python the best programming language for a ''faucet'' type of website? on: May 30, 2019, 11:14:35 PM
I'm interested in hiring someone to make a faucet type website for me, which includes all the needed settings for sending payments, etc. Now I would like to know which language is the best so I can find the best dev for it. Also if someone created one or knows about them, how long should it take and how much would the price be, approximately since I'm running a little low on cash now that I've used it for several other projects.
At first tell me why did you decide to run faucet website? Don't you know freebitco.in? They were first, most strong and amazing during all time among faucets but they fail too, it was great at first when bitcoin wasn't popular and known among people, now faucets are just a waste of time and believe me your website will be a target of spammers and unserious people.
Why to make things hard? If you still plan to build website, use traditional html/css/php/msql/java.
2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 30, 2019, 10:39:15 PM
Can't believe it happened after all, as it seems everyone wants to see bitcoin price 10k or higher and when we were so close to that aim, from 8.7k to 9k, which to my mind would automatically lead to further rise, instead of it, price felt and now it is 8,3k. Today's lowest price was 8k, that's very sad but still we don't know clearly what will happen, whether bitcoin will reach 10k or not is 50/50.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia 1060 3GB - Which Coin? on: May 30, 2019, 10:02:16 PM
Hi,

over one year ago I had to switch my Nvidia 1060 3GB GPUs from Ethereum to Ravencoin. Was a good decision I think and mined a lot.
Since 2 months now RVN difficulty exploded. (Does anyone know the reason?)

So I think I should switch to another coin again now.
Which one would you suggest for my old GPUs?
For your old GPUs I suggest you to sell them and buy new ones, forget ethereum too because this isn't the only one coin which you have to stick especially when you own nvidia cards because you can mine different coins with better profitability than ethereum.
On another hand, if possible, mine on nicehash and hold bitcoins for a while. Can't suggest anything else.
2875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thefts, fraud hit $1.2 billion in Q1 report on: May 30, 2019, 09:27:50 PM
Can you believe that losses from the theft of crypto from exchanges due to fraud hit $1.2B?

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-crypto-currency-fraud/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-2-billion-in-first-quarter-report-idUSKCN1S62P3

I still can't wrap my mind around why people wouldn't want to have compliance with AML and KYC to better help that this doesn't happen
If bittrex or binance got hacked that's not my problem, this statistics also 100% shows how garbage their security system is (behind this security system there are IT personals which seems can't do their job properly). People usually use bitcoin for two reason: 1. Privacy 2. Profit, so when privacy is my choice, I think KYC documents must be far away from it. And if fraud happens because of stupid user, that's another task.
2876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Still have coins on BITBLENDER? you only have a FEW HOURS TO WITHDRAW! LAST CALL on: May 30, 2019, 09:05:10 PM
The fact that the owner is giving any advance notice of closing down the site is good, considering the owner could've easily just closed down shop and taken everybody's funds. I'm glad blender isn't doing that, but there's obviously going to be people that don't get their money out in time. Hopefully no significant amount of funds are left on the site before it closes down.

Still a good reminder that you should always keep funds in storage in a place where you control the private keys, though.
Oh no, no, that wouldn't happen in any way. Owner doesn't want to be under someone's attention, that's why he lets everyone to withdraw money and close website as soon as possible. After all, it's very sad fact that another legendary mixer, bitblender is going down, loved this website because of their style and long story on this forum.
Will be very curious if bitmixer and bitblender owners unite together, just a little inagination and fun from me.
TryNinja
Thank you for this thread too.
2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan as the Next Big Destination for iGaming Operators? on: May 30, 2019, 08:37:26 PM
Just last year in 2018, Japan managed to clear the legal hurdles to obtain their Integrated Resort (IR) which is a nomenclature for casino resorts.

The Integrated Resort project refers to a comprehensive entertainment complex that incorporates facilities like shopping malls, theaters, hotels and theme parks. These types of resorts should be ready and developed by 2025 also thanks to the Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

In addition to being a potential hot spot for casinos, Japan is also a very attractive destination for international visitors. Based on the reports from Japan’s National Tourism Organization, Japan welcomed nearly 16 million visitors in the first half of 2018, which is up 16% from last year!

Given the importance of the region, there will be a Japan Gaming Congress being held on May 16-17, 2019 at the Conrad Tokyo in Japan.

Source: Is Japan the Next Big Hot Spot Destination for iGaming Operators?

Is there anyone among you from Japan? Can you tell us about the situation of the gambling industry in the country as of the present? Or perhaps can you tell us if you agree with the idea that Japan is set to become a big hot spot iGaming destination?
Cmon man, don't try promoting your website that way, better to publish articles with solid informations. Japan won't become big destination for iGaming operators at least in near future. If we talk about attractivness of countries, then France is first where Japan is 100% lose, then comes Italy, England, Germany and others.
2878  Economy / Gambling / Re: New RTG powered Bitcoin casino on: May 30, 2019, 08:02:39 PM
Are you kidding? Never heard of a casino offering 200% first deposit bonus unless they have a high rollover amount to achieve it. To be able to cashout double amount of what other casinos offer for their customers on the first deposits as a bonus.
Expect on it,whenever theres a bonus there would be always a wagering requirement which is 30-50x usually on slots but thats for 100%
but for 200% bonus then it would be possibly on insanely 100x wager requirement. For sites design its quite attractive.
That wagering requirements kills me haha, not a good marketing too. They offer 100% bonus with 200% loss rate, why 200%? Because there is a huge chanse you'll lose deposited and bonus money.
OP website looks good, hope your casino is really good but consider that when you open ANN thread, it must have some structure and be attractive, this thread looks like rundom thousands thread.
Also you have image in footer, better to include ahref links instead of simple images to prove what you present.
2879  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ~ How Much Money Would you Need to Make to Stop Using Paid Sig Offers? on: May 30, 2019, 07:37:27 PM
Hmm, what a question. The problem is that a lot of people connects every task to money. Personally I wouldn't accept any money. I don't like my profile without wearing signature, this signature of Bitsler had amazing gif and bbcodes which makes my profile look attractive. I promote Bitsler and Bitsler promotes me too, wearing of their sig makes my post more likely under attention and opposite, my posta under attention possibly attracts new customers for them. This is like a symbiotic relationship.
2880  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Are there any BTC holders in the house that collect valuable domains? on: May 30, 2019, 06:25:02 PM
I’ve escrowed a few domain name sales here that sold up into the high 5 digits.
Can you name domains if not a secret?
OP to be fair I don't like domain despite the fact that I know where your aim goes. Doubt facebook will ever buy that domain but as always, there are better options, for example there are countries where only local citizens can buy domain. If you live in such country, there is a huge chanse it will benefit you a lot, for example one man did great job when bought google's local domain, personally I own top domains, including binance, bittrex, had asos's domain and a lot.
