2861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 08, 2020, 10:50:01 PM
This wasn't the first time he is complaining in relation to this from what I know he is also against the fact that the NBA is playing 82 games per season as compared to other leagues out there, I mean I totally understand him. He started to play in the NBA at a very young age and he is reaching this years where he wants to spend time with his family and do non-Basketball activities. I think its fair for the league to give them this short period for offseason as they have shutdown the league for a long period before they resumed giving the players some time off from the game.

Well, NBA also needs to get back on its feet.
They lost a lot and they want the profits back.
It's still about the money of course. That is priority.
Also, I think they want to resume faster to adjust everything back to normal.
Remember, October should have been the start of the season but because of the pandemic they need to adjust.
Now, they need to catch up.

I think Adam Silver also agrees changing the system but it needs time to be implemented.
Just not sure if they are working on it.

In a similar ongoing scam, a phishing email that appears to be sent from the official account for “Team Ripple” appeals to Ledger users by offering an XRP giveaway to “whitelisted addresses” as part of a “Community Support Program.” The registration process involves handing over your Ledger seed phrase or crypto private key in order to qualify for the non-existent program.

This one is obvious but could still make a victim that has so much trust with "Team Ripple".
Since I was also a victim of a phishing attempt which was sadly successful, I learned my lesson.
Don't believe the bonuses.
If there is a log-in attempt, get away from it.
Changed my e-mail for my basic sign-ups. Damn, it's a load of work but it will be worth in the long run.
2863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 08, 2020, 05:42:32 PM
At least he wasn't a sore looser. How many of you guys did bet against Trump ?
Correct. It may not be personal. Just a fun gamble.  Grin
I did bet against Trump but not because I want Biden to win. Just want to cheer for Trump to lose.  Grin

Did anyone loose a critical amount ?
Nah. I don't wager much when it comes to elections. Just a fair amount.

What are your thoughts on this particular thing ?
Biden won. We will just have to live with that.
It's not just him who will run the country. There's a lot of good people in their government. (Not that his bad.)
2864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal accepted the Crypto but it will reduce the BTC marketcaps on: November 08, 2020, 04:56:41 PM
I don't think that kind of a huge company will do that.
It will be a big stain on their reputation.

How much it will cost them to just being stupid?
If I am the owner of Paypal I won't do such a thing. I built my roots and it's already a large tree with fruits.
Don't want to waste it because of the newly added feature.
2865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 08, 2020, 03:19:53 PM
Thanks for all your positive response guys.
We here are all hoping it could still continue even when a new President was elected.
Also hopeful that USA will not be a divided country anymore.

campaigns are only those flowering words comes to those mouth of every politicians and only few or rare ones do want they say worst is not.
Forgot to consider that.
Thanks for the reminder.
Yeah, it might be just sweet words but I also agree with his campaign and he should do it in a better way.
Open entertainment in a safe way but without second chances if they don't follow simple protocols. i.e. mask, 1 meter away, and so on.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Alts Market already bottomed out? on: November 08, 2020, 06:21:23 AM
Back to the supported altcoins.
That's all I can think of when BTC price is starting to be dumped again.
$500 down in just hours and I think some traders may have enough to take profits by now.

Although, to pinpoint the right altcoin into where they will go back is a difficult task.
Then, who knows if this is just another fluctuation and BTC might still grow in a week making the alts cheaper.  Wink
2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 07, 2020, 09:53:27 PM
I think that's different in the bubble. If all the teams goes back to the bubble following all the protocols and health safety, they will be allowed. He can give it a consideration as it became a success and the next season is about to come. But it's also worrying that it's likely that the bubble will stop but to classify it with gymnasiums, we don't know what's next. Right now, I don't think that it will affect the upcoming season. Hopefully, it won't and he won't focus stopping the league because of covid as it has proved to be an effective style to continue.

Yeah, don't want to be pessimistic here.
I want the game to go on. Not as normal as it was but still a better way to entertain people while staying at home.
Lockdowns will work properly if they can turn on the television and can watch live games.
Perhaps, that's a good reason to push Biden (if he wins) to let the NBA continue in the bubble.
2868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How btc price correction make things right. And what you should be aware of. on: November 07, 2020, 07:32:19 PM
Yeah, don't be a victim of sweet statements and testimonies.
Better, think of them as something fishy.  Grin
How can I say that?
Well, I am a victim. Bought some dust coin for 2 satoshis because of their sweet engagement but in just one day it all fell to 1 satoshi.
Then it never moves up in weeks and months.
Learned my lesson afterward. Stay with the legitimate ones. Expensive, also risky but you know it can come back from the grave.
2869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 07, 2020, 06:25:43 PM
Now let's combine politics and USA Sports (especially NBA of course) and sports gambling.  Grin

"Do not open gymnasiums."
Quote
Biden has appeared more willing than Trump to aggressively address COVID-19 in the short term with hopes that it will curtail the spread of the disease in the long term. He has supported a national mask mandate and said in August that he would implement a national lockdown if scientists recommend taking that step.

"If you have a reproduction rate in a community that's above a certain level, everybody says, slow up," Biden said during a presidential debate. "More social distancing. Do not open bars and do not open gymnasiums. Do not open until you get this under control, under more control."
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/2020/11/07/joe-bidens-election-and-how-could-impact-world-sports/6160249002/

We all know he is winning.
High chances of NBA being stopped or will not even start in December if ever he will focus on what he said during his campaigns.
Defeating Covid-19 is one of those. That means lockdowns.
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 07, 2020, 04:37:40 PM
Same questions when ICO's scams are scattered.
How can we prevent it?
It's not easy because we cannot reach all the buyers.
All we can do is create threads here and hope they will bump into them.
Social media is also a good tool but, you must identify where it should be shared with lots of investors in.
Finding facts and proofs also needs a lot of effort and you will not be paid to do the act.
2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 07, 2020, 02:45:46 PM
But I haven't try it though, I don't want to take risks, but it they allowed to accepts bets online then it will be good.

What are your thoughts on this?
That's great news for all of you.
I have the same thought. Are you willing to take the risks?
I saw a lot of casinos opening in different countries but I haven't gone thru one near me since I don't want to take the risks.
It's a different view when you have kids.
You don't want to be the one scattering it in your house. My wife will kill me for that.

But as I said it's great news. It means the economy is starting to lift up again.
2872  Economy / Economics / Re: What is causing last few days' run-up? on: November 07, 2020, 11:27:03 AM
We just don't know the numbers in Paypal.
It could be more than we are expecting.
A lot of people in other countries cannot buy Bitcoin due to regulations but with Paypal opening that door, it could really be massive.
Is Paypal providing how much Bitcoin was bought in their system?

They say US presidential election also got something to do with it, just indirectly.
Investors, Trump supporters saving their ass if the market will suddenly fall with him losing.
2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 07, 2020, 10:41:31 AM
It's time for the Bucks to take that risk, they keep their players, nothing will change, they will dominate in the regular season but they will tank in the playoffs. I guess some players like Eric Bledsoe and other high payed athlete can be a good trade for Booker.

Bucks will have a big 3 with Giannis, Booker, and Middleton.

That looks a legit big 3, right?
I think you have a good goal here to want Bucks to be strong and take the championship this season.
But, the cap space will always be the wall.
As said by chaser15, it will cost them a lot and that means roleplayers being traded.
You can't do that while trying to fill Bucks with players that compliment the strength of Giannis.

It's logical that they don't want to miss Christmas special games and start season early instead of mid-January.
I don't know how they handle all these off-season things in only one month but hope for the best, we should see a covid free season again.
Regular season has 10 game cut, this is not a big problem because people hype about special games and such more.
Yeah, that means more money. Ads, ads, ads.  Grin
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i Invest more??? on: November 06, 2020, 06:39:17 PM
I'd probably stop for now if I have made that such a huge amount.
Hold it in ETH.
I am expecting it to gain hype before the end of the year since ETH 2.0 is near.
I mean, just look at it now at $444 while I bought it at $260.
You are already at risk holding Ethereum, why risk more? Stay with the trusted.
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 06, 2020, 05:30:21 PM
Where's the impact?  Grin

Anyway, it doesn't matter who will win when the discussion is about gambling.
It will still continue.
America didn't vote for the Pope so the gambling industry will stay.
Lots of money coming from that industry and whoever sits will not vanish that amount. Some of it will go directly to their pockets.
2876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 06, 2020, 03:05:23 PM
Finally.
Thank you for the update.
One more month and I can gamble again with my favorite league.

Would be big if Devin Booker would want to get out of the Suns.

As of now, he is still in contract with his current team with a whooping $158M for five years, does it mean he wants to be traded to other team?

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2783523-devin-booker-suns-reportedly-agree-to-5-year-158m-max-contract-extension
Depends on his contract.
I cannot find any provided information about his contract. (Looked at roto and hoopshype.)
Just details of how much it is and it's a really huge amount.
It's still a rumor though, we cannot confirm it yet.
2877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 06, 2020, 09:26:51 AM
Thanks for the tip.
I think I will be waiting for a dump then.

Most of my the altcoins in my portfolio are not in a good phase.
Yeah, that makes you worry and try to sell them thru BTC which is hyped right now.
Like a panic attack or riding the big boat.
2878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My suggestion for new projects team who want to promote their projects on: November 06, 2020, 07:54:08 AM
No. Even with all your suggestion, they will still try to look for another way to blame.
They just pinned their errors to bounty hunters even though it is just a small portion of the whole pie.
Obviously, that is the start of a scam attempt.

If they are really a good project they can make up even if all the hunters will sell their tokens.
They can even just buy it back for a cheaper price than the ICO price.
2879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 06, 2020, 04:16:37 AM
Sixers hopefully would improve under a new coach, based on my observation, during coach Doc's first year in a team, they are usually successful, so probably he can bring something to this team to be consistent, not only in the regular season but most especially in the playoffs.
And I hope Doc also learned to stay focus even in a 3-1 deficit.
He had the worse record of all coaches but, I never doubt him. Players also have a share of their faults.
76ers health issues were the problem last year. They should be good to compete now. The East will be packed with great teams.  Wink

Kings Name Rex Kalamian Assistant Coach
This guy is one hell of an assistant coach.
I hope Luke Walton will learn something from him.  Grin
2880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 05, 2020, 05:28:58 PM
Maybe Miami Heat would be interested in signing a contract with him, and I guess Hayward still has good potential to play at the same level even after that terrible injury. So, Miami's starting lineup would be looked good on "paper" Smiley (Dragic/Herro, Butler, Hayward, Crowder, Adebayo).
It could fit.
Hayward and Robinson switching. Yeah, that will be a super offensive threat.
But is it players that are lacking with Miami Heat right now?
I think it is the experience they need.
They have Haslem and Iguodala already who could provide details on how to be champions. They are just still young to make it happen.
