2861  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 03, 2019, 03:17:02 PM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa
I think there are still some people who become wealthy even though bitcoin have been in this situation because Bitcoin is not the only way where they get their money but in various ways such as Forex trading and investment. Besides, bitcoin is not falling right now as a matter of fact it is now rising up.
2862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: May 03, 2019, 08:02:42 AM
As for me, anything that is beneficial requires energy even if its a digital currency or physical money.  Bitcoin consumes and bitcoin produces so there is a thermal balance which we must not bother about. Bitcoin is not certainly consuming a huge percentage of electric supply. There are lots of businesses which consumes more energy than mining.
That’s right, this is just a small consumptions compare to those corrupt big companies who are really ruining the nature, just like the real mining industry where they killed many trees for their own sake. Bitcoin is harmless, it can give you good things just treat it right.

That's very true. How can they point us out when they can't put fingers on those multi-millionaire who own those mining companies. There have been numerous time where flashfloods and landslides killed thousands of my people in my country because of rampant mining activities in those forest and mountains. I know that btc mining can be solved by renewable energy but not the real mining.
Indeed, as a matter of fact, bitcoin mining is far batter than real mining or gold mining because first, the electricity consumption of bitcoin mining could be rely on eco-friendly of getting energy such as solar panels unlike the fuel used by vehicle in real mining is non-renewable at could absolutely harm our environment. Generally, all of these have cons but by further finding more efficient solution this negative effects will be clear up.
2863  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: May 02, 2019, 08:35:24 AM
Its been a year that we haven't seen this movement and it is kinda pleasing. It gives hopes for everyone who believe that it will rise up again. I hope this movement will become more steady and hit $20k again. If this will keep continue we will arrive the $6000 very soon. But it is still too early to celebrate and there a lot things could might happen.
2864  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 02, 2019, 07:30:14 AM
A guy bought a very big house, which triggered an argument on a telegram group.
some people were arguing on a telegram group that they guy couldn't have bought the house with only trading profit....some insinuated that he must be into other businesses.
I laughed at their ignorance.
Why? Because I know that even in this present market condition that some skilled traders are making a killing.
I'm not talking about traders who trade with small capital here.
The conclusion is that when you trade with massive capital ,you earn massively.
Absolutely true, if you will invest a massive capital then you will get massive profit profit in return if it will be successful because I'm pretty sure that you are familiar with high risk you'll get the higher risk you'll get. Thus I'm really proud to those people who take risk because they are doing it inspite of having a low chance that it would return.
2865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good idea? on: May 02, 2019, 06:48:59 AM
Well it is not bad idea at all. I mean you were amazing because you are trying to run your own business besides, you even ask some ideas of our fellow cypto-user which is good for me. For more improvement, you should totally put more effort in it like have your own design coming from your own idea and for design always keep it simple because folks are more unto a simple one.
2866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: April 26, 2019, 02:57:29 PM
Simply because they don't want to reveal their identity, they don't want to reveal that they up to gambling online. Based on my experience, I prefer to gamble online rather in a real one because I don't want to be found out besides playing online make more anonymous or to play with ease. Playing on gambling with KYC is more like you presenting yourself that you are proudly a gambler which is out of our choices. But this is just my opinion maybe others have their own resons.
2867  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: April 26, 2019, 02:14:49 PM
Today, many people use Bitcoin for investment purposes. There are a lot of people who have paid with Bitcoin before, what do you think about this?

Well, using Bitcoin to buy some stuff online isn't bad idea since it is still a currency. In fact, even I had used bitcoin to buy some stuff but not actually using bitcoin because the store where I bought in is not accepting this such currency so I had to convert it into fiat first. However, due to bitcoin's characteristics is more appropriate to be used in investment, as an assets. That's what I think.
2868  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to 4100$ on: April 26, 2019, 01:38:30 PM
Yes, Bitcoin up to 4100$ and hope we get good news soon and crypto market again green.Bitcoin the biggest cryptocurrency accounting for around 52 percent of the crypto market, has again briefly broken $4,000 point for the fourth time this month, according to CoinMarketCap .Bitcoin price up to 5.17% and eth up to 11.43 % so after the end this month hope bitcoin price will be 5000$ i think.
As of today Bitcoin is now been exceeded the 4100$ and it is currently around 5000$. I expect it will have promising price in the next few months hence, we should keep stay put and keep hold our assets, this could be a sign that bitcoin is near to gain back what it loss.
2869  Economy / Economics / Re: Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising. on: April 26, 2019, 10:26:41 AM
Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising and plans to allow regulated crypto exchanges to buy ads in the United States and Japan. The new policy starts in October.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/25/google-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-exchange-advertising-in-us-japan.html

I think that this is a preparation for the reversal of the bitcoin price.

What do you think about it? What are the consequences of these changes?
Well, I guess it will be good since it will attract more investors. It cannot totally affect the Bitcoin's growth in instant but it will gradually change everything. We all know that Google is highly influential in many ways so if it does allow the advertising of cryptocurrency, netizens will appreciate this new form of currency and it will attract more user and it could be a gateway in making a new world.
2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: April 26, 2019, 10:00:36 AM
Decentralization is one of the greatest dreams of Satoshi looking at the how the blockchain technology and its immutable distributed ledger has been designed. Well it saddens my heart that the greed of men has led to the abusing of this freedom and liberty that Satoshi wanted us to have in the financial industry. Look at the way people are being scammed and robbed in broad day light just because crypto is embedded in anonymity and decentralization. I think we've all had it to the peak, how about we have some level of regulation with the activities in the crypto industry. Share your thoughts commrades.
Well, in this kind of industry greedy people is everywhere yet stealing someone's money is inevitable here especially that this cryptocurrency is decentralize. As a matter of fact, even in centralized community it's still happening hence, all we need to do is too keep knowledgable all the time in order to prevent our money to be stolen. In every industry we embark on especially on the  presence of money or investment there will always be a people who will abuse their fellowmen.
2871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or XRP on: April 25, 2019, 05:26:01 PM
BTC supplies only 21 million, and now there are 3 or 4 million BTC in the system. even though there is a little more BTC, we will also find it difficult to get BTC. then, it will take a long time. 2024 or 2026 are predicted that BTC supplies will run out.

we have to think about the prospect of the crypto world in the future, until today BTC has a function to stabilize the crypto world, but what happened if supplies BTC runs out? is there another crypto that can stabilize and maintain the existence of the crypto market?

I think ETH or XRP will replace BTC. but my prediction XRP will dominate the market more than ETH, I doubt to ETH after the vitalik left from ETH. on the other hand, XRP always develops its platform every time.

how do you think, will the XRP replace BTC and has a very high value of $ 20K like BTC in 2017?
First of all I don't think bitcoin. would run out due to the fact that it could be mined besides there is also currency exchange occurs in market. With regard on who is more profircient between the two is I would go on ETH because it is more becoming more popular day by day due to widely used of ICO's that could make it more attractive. However, XRP is undeniably good to invest as well thus it will make it a close battle but Regardless of that I don't think they could surpass the BTC.
2872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would like to start trading. Looking for tips!!!! on: April 25, 2019, 03:34:33 PM
Hello everyone!
I am relatively new to the crypto, but I am willing to explore and learn!
I would like to ask for some general advices on how to learn the trading process of crypto and how to get started! Would appreciate all the replies!
Well as of now it not quite good idea to do some trading due to fact that market is bloody but anyway. Before engaging in trading you must have a plan first, have more knowledge with regards with it, be patient all the time and control your emotions. Besides, don't forget that if you make a mistake you shouldn't be down but rather use it as a motivation to never do the same mistake, deal with and learn from it. I guess most of traders here had made horrible decisions before but look at them now, they able to manage and rise up again. Therefore, just don't be contented on what knowledge you have now , you must still learn and experience all the things you need.
2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: April 25, 2019, 02:55:01 PM
IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN?

Now, the answer. drum roll please!

NO ONE KNOWS WHEN THE BEST TIME TO BUY BITCOIN IS!

The best time to buy is yesterday Grin

No one can predict each and every price dip so the smart play is to cost average in your buys so you can take advantage of any price drops if they do happen.  It is usually best to not go all in unless the price is stupidly cheap.
Precisely, if you are going to buy bitcoins you shouldn't go in all because there are times that Bitcoin having an insane drop price however, just like you have mention no one can totally predict the track of this thing. Most of us rely on mere speculation and for trusting this, it could be bad and good at the same time. Bad because it could worsen your situation and good if it makes a good cause. So basically it is just a matter of luck I guess but it is better to learn how read to read the market.
2874  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: April 25, 2019, 02:17:40 PM
I am really not happy seeing this report, i made the greatest mistakes of my life last night, someone i believed in so much that bitcoin will not climb above $5400 before retracing its step back to $4500 and then speeding up to BULL, i was mislead by him and i sold my coin, only for me to wake up this morning and found out that bitcoin had broken the $5500 resistance
Well, it's inevitable I guess, it's normal for you to make few mistake because this is where your learn and I hope the you did learn. I had this kind of action before, I'm desperate to sell my holding since I have totally no money but it was a mistake. Anyway, since you have been perceived what capability of bitcoin is then you could now go and Hold. We shouldn't rush everything because there will be always a right time. Just stay put and keep believing.
2875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: April 25, 2019, 01:48:01 PM
I would like to take up the points of an article published on Bitcoinist. (Even if some will say that this media is Pro-Bitcoin the points are the most important.)

Quote
1. Laws Can’t Be Written Against Bits and Bites
2. You Can’t Ban Open-Source Distributed Software
3. Bitcoin Can Be Broadcasted via Satellite
4. You can Send Bitcoin Via SMS
5. You Can’t Shut Down the Power Grid

Any regulation can't prevent us from using Bitcoin. Despite their attempt to keep an eye on the system, it is simply impossible for them to ban people using it. So why giving a fuck to "I'm afraid my country will ban Bitcoin!"
They have nothing to fully stop the ecosystem that is currently emerging.
I think I've seen this topic before but anyway. It's would be tough for bitcoin to be controlled by anyone or to be banned rather. Yes, government could make prohibition upon its vicinity but they cannot fully control his people, they will use more anonymous way just to do transaction. In short, even if government ban this cryptocurrency folks will always find a way especially nowadays we became more efficient in technology hence it cannot be stopped.

2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: December 03, 2018, 02:36:55 AM
I think the reason why they are getting addicted to gambling is just because they want an instant money, they want an easy profit which is not possible. Beside, I think another reason is once they play gambling and lose they tend to play again to retrieve their loss then it'll become habit of them which can conclude that you became an addict.
2878  Economy / Speculation / Re: FRUSTRATED AT THE MARKET. on: December 02, 2018, 03:02:37 PM
The market is now frustrated these days how every thing on the coinmarket cap have now went bad and worse now. However, I hope the better day of the market will come before end of the year.
Not only the market though, I also experiencing frustration and I am pretty sure the the other folks as well. Who will be the person will be pleased after seeing the market in blood bath right? even those who take the advantages of having this kind of situation are kinda frustrated as well. But as a well trained trader we should not let our emotion overcome us because I believe that this pain we have now will be granted a grateful outcome.
2879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $3000? on: December 02, 2018, 02:44:54 PM
Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
It is possible to drop below $3000 but as what others have said there's no have reason for it to drop that price unless there's something happen instantly. Don't be assured on what we have now because it might lead into something we don't want to happen or vise versa. I mean be alert all the time if there's anything changes occur, analyze it and never let it aside because even if it small it might have a huge impact.
2880  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: December 02, 2018, 02:04:06 PM
because bitcoin is an asset that is very promising the results that are obtained, so most of the users of the bitcoin are definitely economically guaranteed and fulfilled too...

Good income countries will take this opportunity to increase their wealth later so if they want to invest a little of their money it won't make them bankrupt.
You have a good reasoning though, I also think they will take this opportunity for their counrty because I also do believe that Bitcoin has a capabilities to support the financial necessity. And I think Bitcoin is one of the way to change everything in one country so they take the advantages of it.
