28641  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL shipped their first single on: June 13, 2013, 09:39:04 AM
they will not sell anything that can't make more profit to them, than to you
28642  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Wanna buy KNCMiner? Prediction Data -> Time vs Hash Rate vs Difficulty Data set on: June 13, 2013, 07:57:36 AM
Ho
assumes they will ship

assumes they will ship at date specified

assumes they have a chip

assumes they can get the chip made

assumes they can have boards made

Hope all those assumptions come true.. People are so crazy.. I just got surprised to see how people can trust mere strangers in kncminer group buy...!!
yeah lol

also a 350 gh with 100M+ difficulty, isn't worth their price anymore
28643  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Are GPUs still relevant and for how long on: June 13, 2013, 07:55:32 AM
the secret is to have a large vga farm so you can switch very fast between altcoin, mining a good amount of them, and sell them asap, because the duration of their profit is very short
28644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins becoming more prominent on: June 13, 2013, 07:49:13 AM
i think litecoin can increase in value, when they will arrive on mtgox
28645  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Best Mining Method. What is it? on: June 12, 2013, 12:26:30 PM
with $0.17 electricity(mine, maybe your is even better), it is easy to make $50(assuming a 110% profit compared to bitcoin, some coin can reach 200%-300%....) net per card(7950) in one months so with a small farm you can reach 300 easily, just keep an eye, on the most profitable coin every time
28646  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining vs. buying BTC on: June 12, 2013, 08:58:50 AM
speculating on them is a gamble also, at least with mining, you are sure to make profit, unless your electricity is too expansive
No, you are not. Even if you have a free electricity your hardware can break or difficulty can rise so much, that you'll never make your money back.
But I agree, that speculation is a gamble. You can make a profit, but first you'll loose much money in exchange for learning. First hand experience :-)
That's why I advise buying some BTC and forgetting about them for 10 years.
hardware break is covered by warranty(this is why vga are better), and with free electricity the profit is assured
also you can resell them pretty easily
28647  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: June 12, 2013, 07:31:48 AM
That's reasonable...We should work on finding someone who is willing to organize the group buy then. Cheers for the great explanation. I just think that the prices scared me a bit.

No worries. In a few months, I'm sure someone will be able to. I think I can work a deal out with canary for him to do a group sell.
the more you wait for shipping(not counting, before the products is finished, of course) the less value they will have
for example is not right to sell them at even 0.5 btc when the difficulty will reach 50M...
I won't mind getting some at 0.2btc each ..... Grin

maybe when btc is at 260 again lol
or difficulty too high.. you know
see above...

28649  Local / Beni / Re: [INVESTI] Deposita i tuoi Litecoin e ricevi il 7% bimestralmente on: June 11, 2013, 08:32:58 PM
Esempio:

Marco deposita 100LTC @ 10-06-2013
Marco ritira 100LTC + 7LTC = 107LTC @ 10-08-2013

grazie per averci spiegato le percentuali

comunque non ho capito dove li deposito
28650  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: KH vs MH vs GH on: June 11, 2013, 07:44:38 PM
he is referring, when people talk about 1200MH/s =1200Khash/s and this is because they are mining scrypt
sha-256 are in MH
scrypt are in KH
28651  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: Mininare con p2pool on: June 11, 2013, 09:18:56 AM

scarica cgminer(ultima versione)
scarica p2pool(11.4)
scarica il litecoin client

-crea un collegamento per cgminer sul desktop e aggiungi --scrypt --intensity 13 --gpu-threads 2 --worksize 256 --shaders 1792 --thread-concurrency 8192 alla destinazione(tasto destro sul collegamento--->proprietà, lascia uno spazio e scrivi --scrypt --intensity 13 --gpu-threads 2 --worksize 256 --shaders 1792 --thread-concurrency 8192)

scrivici:
rpcuser=quello che vuoi
rpcpassword=quello che vuoi
server=1

e poi cgminer indirizzandolo a
server: http://127.0.0.1:9327

28652  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: Aiuto ragazzi domanda riguardo il mining on: June 11, 2013, 09:16:57 AM
28653  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GPU mining is Now Pointless! on: June 11, 2013, 08:03:09 AM
SO over the past 4 weeks I've been building my additional GPU mining rigs... Well in that time, virtually overnight it seems its now not even worth mining on GPU's

I've watched 6,000 GHash/S added to Slushes pool in the last couple weeks... Rewards are roughly 1/10 what they were 2 months ago, and isn't worth the profit anymore with electric cost for me. Wow, that all happened awfully fast  Shocked  Guess its that time we can all kiss GPU mining goodbye  Undecided
there are alt-coin, they are also more profitable

confirmed, thank you
28656  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: Consumi mining on: June 10, 2013, 04:07:46 PM

28657  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: Consumi mining on: June 10, 2013, 03:23:22 PM
28658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: June 10, 2013, 03:19:22 PM
there is something strange, ftc are so high in profit, cuz their difficulty keep decreasing, not beause of their value
28659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FeatherCoin - New Litecoin based coin on: June 10, 2013, 02:28:20 PM
