Well tradefortress has like -153 so it does get worse than -11. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

This looks really useful, thanks Graham.

I guess I could use a cron job for this, but surely there's some simpler way to keep a job running after you logout. I'm so surprised no one has this on top of their heads .... alas.

I have a friend who did some work for Maidak, as far as I know, he's quite reputable. I'm pretty sure that the scam accusation is jumping the gun.

Peercoin.
There are no "currently hot sha256 coins", this statement includes Bitcoin itself. The point regarding pure POW sha256 coins is blockchain security against fork attacks. Peercoin is safe since it is additionally secured by staking. Small coins cannot rely on any algorithms where monster supplies based on ASIC technology do exist.
I know peercoin has been around for a while, so that's a plus, I think. I'll look into this one. Also, I think I understand your point about easy forking attacks against a new coin because of asic resources. On, unobtainium, I'll look into this one as well. I have to admit, the name sounds like a joke from sci-fi, but maybe there's more to it than that.

Hi,
I got my usb miner running nicely with cgminer on my gnu/linux laptop. However, this particular laptop sits in a closet and acts more like a fileserver than a laptop (the screen gave out on it years ago). Therefore I ssh into it from another computer.
This is going dandy except that I want to logout of the ssh session and leave the miner running until I log in again later.
I experimented with:
$ ./cgminer ... &
But logout (ie, $ exit) stops the job.
And I tried:
$ screen cgminer ... &
But again, logout stops the job.
I'm sure there's some easy solution. Let me know!

What a complete idiot..
Slightly less of an idiot than the people who loan him money, who are like people who feed stray diseased cats, causing them to proliferate in an area. I think it's okay to feed them as long as you spay them first. I don't know how that metaphor applies to supa. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi, I just got a small usb miner to play with. I found this old thread about sha-256 coins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=482002.0 but it seems quite outdated. I'd like to start this topic to solicit information about the currently hot sha256 coins. Alongside the currently hot ones, it'd be good to know which ones are stable (and listed on exchanges for easy conversion to btc). Cheers!

You guys are having a lot of fun in this thread with all the anticipation and whatnot. I have to admit I was a little bit confused by that table with the points but I'm sure it will be clearer to me if I look at it again and/or whenever the final details come out. I'm still keeping an eye here and thinking about switching back to PD advertising when this finally gets going.

Received mine as well. Indeed, looks beautiful. Thanks for the great option, silver wallets. I hope business continues to go well for you guys.

I usually play on Android on tablet. When this new desktop software comes out would the Android app still gonna function and if yes would the Android be updated too? Don't want to lose Android app in exchange for open face Chinese poker which I don't play.
Is the engine or server still going to Maven??. Don't want to get too excited about "upgrades" to include OFP and pineapple to later find out that the server can't handle the traffic. After about 500 log ins lag starts creeping in. Hopefully they would have beta tested this plenty before releasing.
Would rather see server upgrade to cure lag and disconnects rather than have everyting still lagging by adding OFC and the 3 card pineapple stuff.
When I play I also typically use the android tablet. I'd be surprised if they were dropping support for it, but just wanted to chime in that I also value the android option!

As far as I know there are no current issues with deposits or withdrawals.

The minimum withdrawl on seals is 20 Chip, that is 0.02 BTC. But it takes upto 12 hours to withdraw for extra security on the site.
It rarely actually takes 12 hours. But every withdraw is manually reviewed. You can be pretty sure you aren't going to have some creep steal your chips here, at least not by a sham withdrawal. Is min withthdrawl still as high as 20 chips? I thought they had lowered this.

I sent my shipping info to Blazed out but haven't heard back about tracking. Just checking in. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Edited OP doesn't mention any maximum post/payout. Now that this is no-longer fixed-rate, bitmixer might need to review that.

How's this fund going? I still see it listed on crypto-trade.

Last block was confirmed 59 minutes ago. Is this related to OPs observation?

Every time losing with Martingale I blame myself and promise never use it again. But... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Martingale is a poison.
Someone cares to explain what even that martingale is? Not to turn away your invitation to discussion, but there's been so much ink spilled already over what martingale is, whether it works, etc that I think it makes sense just to suggest that you google "martingale" or start with the wikipedia article on it.

Yah, I'm not a real regular player there but I have been around off and on for about two years. I'd definitely say that there's little buzz or excitement there recently. When I do pop in it things don't seem that active and there's been these issues with the hot wallet and whatnot. Anyway, DT has been around a long time and while this may be a lull, it's also possible that things will bounce back with a roar in the near future. I haven't completely given up on this place but I'd agree with CrazyRabbi that DT could use some promotion and excitment about now. I"ve been playing primedice and sports betting recently but I'll still be checking in from time-to-time.
