Are the normal 54-man freerolls over? Watched for a little over an hour earlier and never saw one pop up...
They're still running, I just saw one start about 20 minutes ago. |

One should do some amount of rake before he could register to freerolls. I can't see the point for Seals to let play multi-accounts or new users that won't make any deposits.
If you want to attract new players, make deposit bonuses. If you're afraid that multiaccounts will grow to get these bonuses, give the bonuses only when a player looses a certain quantity of chips, add only loosers to freerolls, or at least give more rakeback to all players.

Overall I agree with you that focusing too much on freerollers would be a mistake. Giving them an incentive to learn to buy and deposit even the minimum amount is a better way to grow the games. But, I think having one set of true freerolls like the 54-mans isn't too much. Back when I first found Seals I wasn't going to go thru the trouble of learning about Bitcoin until I had at least tested the site to see if it was worth playing on. At that time they had freerolls every hour so I was able to play a couple and decided that it was worth figuring out Bitcoin and depositing to play real games. Seals is what got me in to Bitcoin, so if I hadn't been able to test the site I probably never would have done the research and never would have bought any. Turned out to be a pretty profitable freeroll. |

Last year I requested a withdrawal late Christmas Eve night and was surprised when they processed and sent it at 7am on Christmas morning. Was able to use it to buy a Gyft card and give it to someone later that morning. So yeah, the contrast between that and fiat poker sites is amazing. |

I was under the assumption nothing would be processed over the holiday as well. And it's not just a contrast between BTC/fiat poker sites... it's everything. Banks were closed today so you couldn't even set up a transfer/deposit/withdraw (other than ATM) if you dealt with fiat. |
