2881  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ***Spondoolies Tech SP10 - Shipping May 16 - 1.4-1.45Th/s - $3,200*** on: May 14, 2014, 12:40:17 PM
Well, if you advertise a product you will not be able to deliver within advertised specs and in a timely fashion, you are committing consumer fraud.

You have to be pretty stupid to not realize that your house of cards (and lies) will at some point be falling down, probably burying you under it.

I know that it may sound biased, but my suggestion to you would be to just stay away from the whole AMC/VMC fiasco. Do your research first.
2882  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ***Spondoolies Tech SP10 - Shipping May 16 - 1.4-1.45Th/s - $3,200*** on: May 14, 2014, 12:31:29 PM
The discount coupon are only for customers who ordered SP10 as part of this group buy before May 13 ?
... or it is also valid for any group buy customers that want to place more SP10 orders even if his first group buy order was after May 13 ?
How and when do you plan distribute the discount coupons for early group buy customers ?

Thanks,
Jake

The coupon is valid for the customers that ordered SP10 before May 13.

...Payment in Bitcoin is apparently not an option ...Sad

Wrong. Pay With BTC

Maybe you should put those directions on the web page, genius.

Genius, I have already instructed the website designer to add that to our description, thank you

Right after you instructed him to remove the products that never existed in the first place right?
2884  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: WTF is going on with mining? on: May 14, 2014, 01:53:17 AM
Along with that, it still comes down to a numbers game. Once the difficulty rises to the point where the cost to run miners ( power, replacement parts, data center costs etc ) no matter the size of the farm, reaches about 85% of the income ( about a diff of 40 billion ), then the growth in the mining industry will have sufficiently slowed as the business model begins to approach a more conventional model of about 15% profit. Then you will start to see difficulty fluctuating up and down, rather than jumping 15% every 2 weeks.

this is what will happen in the long run…… lets say 5 cents a k-watt for power and .5 watts per hash    at 450 usd a coin .  no one earns money.

zero growth without   btc  fiat rise.

this chart shows  a data center with all sp30's   and 5 cents a k-watt  no money for cooling and the gear was built for free.

no data center can do that but if it could it would tap out next year.  So we are going to see a max for data center growth.

LOL. Man you are so bad intended. Putting a graph for a 1000GH at 500W and then stating that it's a SP30 graph is so wrong. Having 1TH is one thing and having 6TH is another thing!

It is. Just use Upgrade firmware and it will update to 1.3.16 even if you don't see it written in the Firmware tab as being available. But feel free to post a picture or e-mail zvisha about this. Maybe he can fix it.

Please email the snapshot to support@spondoolies-tech.com.

Thanks.

Will do Smiley

This meme came up on every rally

But for the moment there isn't any rally. So while you are holding BTC I'm moving money every month. Of course if I knew that we had a 2 month rally like last year from 100$ to 1100$ I would prefer to buy and hold, but until the rally happens I'm moving BTC and cash all the time while holders do nothing.

Edit: I'm sure that everyone that bought BTC and is holding got them at more than 450$ or more than 500$. For the moment the places are reversed. The one holding is just sitting while miners are moving money.
2888  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 13, 2014, 02:56:24 AM

I am sure that the majority of people can't/won't respect the SSS. Most of the people never did trading and usually people are very anxious and don't respect any plan. Sentiments get involved very often when it comes to money and a quick win or loss matter much more than the SSS plan. How many people who bought at 32$ before the fall didn't quickly exchanged them at 100$ or 200$ to just feel sorry about it at 1100$?

For me mining makes it very easy to manage things. I can cash out money every month, I can save bitcoins, I can sell equipment, I can shut down equipment and turn it on when the BTC exchange rate is better etc.
2889  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 13, 2014, 02:35:18 AM
the thing with mining that nobody seems to acknowledge is this;
If you have a rig that cost 1000$, paid for it in fiat, run it for one year and it mines a total of one single btc, it seems like a colossal loss at current prices. but if the btc price rises to 10 000$ in the future, even ten or twenty years from now... you have still made a good investment.

in traditional investing, doubling your money in ten years is seen as a decent conservative return. so if btc is even only worth 2000$ in 2024 you have a win, my friends.

support the network and hodl!

Or you could just buy 2 btc...

And what are you doing with them? Holding until when?
2890  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 13, 2014, 12:07:22 AM
There are folks out there that refuse to accept the fact that buying mining gear is losing against buy and hold, of course somedays they will get it, but there're always new bloods to replace them. At least AM and hopefully RM, give what user paid for unlike those scumbag / incompetence  bfl, cointerra, knc .

Buy and hold until when? When are you exchanging your BTC to fiat? Miners have more flexibility imo. Buying and holding isn't very flexible.

Roadstress id like to order if i pay now will it be definitely  shipped on 15th?

im not really into do the pre order thing

thanks

Hello. Shipping will start 15-16 May, based on the reservation queue. If you send you reservation now you will be the 40th person. I don't know how many units can SP-Tech ship per day, but I am sure that you will be in the first or maximum the second day of shipping.

Secondly this is not a regular pre-order where the product doesn't exist and where the manufacturer needs money to build it. The product already exists and was already delivered to various people including myself. Treat is as a simple Batch of units. This is the May's second batch. Waiting for your reservation.

You are in the wrong section. This is for SHA256 only.
2894  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: May 12, 2014, 08:04:46 PM
Black Arrow ships this week.  Today possibly.  They also shipped off a bunch of chips to third parties.

BFL is in their two-weeks mode but I think it's a safe bet they ship soon.  They are just down to software optimization now.

Activemining's chips were sent to Rockminer and they are shipping now.

And then, you know, KNC before the sun burns out...

So I wouldn't think a plateau.  I think it's about to spike.

BA is shipping 100Gh units. Considering that we are hashing at more than 60k TH they won't be noticeable.

I think you meant AsicMiner not activemining, but it's only 23k chips (each chip is at 12GH?) which would mean around 276TH IF they get the units sold, but I am reserved about that considering their high price per GH.

As for KnC I am expecting delays, but will see.

Cointerra just got to ludicrous speed

2th 12 mo contract for $8K...snickering.

You have to be an idiot to buy at that price.
2895  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Gen2&3 ASIC users thread on: May 12, 2014, 08:00:33 PM
We are one of the makers of Bitcoin history, and you're only a jerk.

Yes you entered in Bitcoin history as having the first ASIC chips and miners, but unfortunately you also entered in Bitcoin history as the fastest fall after selling chips to a third party before your paying customers resulting in a more than 1 month delay which cut the profits by A LOT. Biggest upswing followed by the biggest downswing. Not even BFL managed to fall as fast as Avalon did. Grats!
2896  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: May 12, 2014, 07:56:44 PM
The last difficulty adjust was the lowest in almost a whole year, since June 2013. Maybe we will reach a plateau before SP30 ships?

That's that I was thinking too. Besides Ants and SP10s is there anyone else shipping in big numbers?
2897  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Gen2&3 ASIC users thread on: May 12, 2014, 06:02:44 PM
Here is a general thread for owners of Avalon Gen2 (A3255) and Avalon Gen3 ASIC (e.g. A3233) miners.

On account of big difference between new MM (Miner manager) based Avalon Gen2 & Gen3 miners and old Gen1 miners, I decide to open a new user thread.

For old Avalon Gen1 & Gen2 ASIC, Please refer to previous thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140539.0

This thread is primarily for Avalon self-made miners,  but any other thrid-party clone miner users are still welcome.

Party of one it seems Smiley Not so many users. Good job!

If KNC made enough money for Boden from original orders (Saturns and Jupiters) why in the world would they need to finance the development of the Neptunes and Titans with preorders?

You got it wrong. They built the Boden facility with customers Neptune preorders. Titan preorders were just a bonus. Now with their big ass DC they don't care about their customers. They are the pure example of simple nerds turning into greedy sons of bitches. And now I understand why nerds deserve bullying. Because KnC!
