2881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: April 28, 2022, 01:57:16 PM
Right now if I'm betting the series which I'm not, I'd bet on the Bucks.  Here's why:

1) Greek freak...period no explanation needed
2) Bucks are still the Champs and rolled easy on the bulls
3) those odds.  Getting points on the series for the defending Champs gimme that all day.
4) Bucks can extend the Celtics defense with theor outside shooting better than the Nets did.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 28, 2022, 01:54:35 PM
Bucks vs Celtics will be the greatest series of this NBA play-offs season, or it should be like that.

Hard to think at a prediction in this series but I do hope we will see a best of 7 and probably Bucks will win if they have all the players on the court as Celtics proved to us that they can beat anyone anytime  but Bucks is a different team. Even if they triple Giannis , he's so strong and big that he will still get free trows ...so you see , it's very hard to stop a player like him when he is fully driving towards the basket.

Disagree on that.  The Memphis and Timberwolves is the series of the playoffs.  I hope wolves win Friday so we can see a game 7.  Both very young teams that are up and coming.  We might be watching a series that will be a yearly experience.  I hope the celts and Bucks live up to it but as of now this first series has been amazing.
2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 26, 2022, 01:17:40 PM
Congratulations to the Nets for being the only team to be swept in the first round of the 2021-2022 season. I thought it would be the Bulls but they did better Grin What do you think about Nash's performance as a coach in this series? I thought they had a decent squad to push the Celtics but it looks like he's been outplayed by Udoka.

Boston is just strong enough Nets. Nets don’t have reliable center to protect the hoof and at the same time get an offensive rebound unlike Boston with so strong Theis, Even only his presence will make attacker very uncomfortable. Nets is not that strong this year, They are just hype because of Durant and Irving duo but besides that, they are nothing. I’m excited on Milwaukee and Boston matchup!

Coaches actually have a huge impact on team losses and wins. If Steve Nash just put all necessary pieces on the court, it could've been resulted into a different outcome rather getting swept. Boston is one of the most talented team in the NBA today. But I know for sure that the Nets could've done better than that. Man, they have Dragic, Irving, Durant, and they have good supporting players. Boston just executed better than Nets both defensively and offensively.
I'm not gonna be surprised If Nash will separate ways with Brooklyn after this off season.

That's two consecutive year that the Nets failed, this time it's probably the worst, I think Nets should look for a new coach to handle a good team. I am disappointed with the result, I know the Nets have messed up their roster but they still have Durant and Irving, at least these two star players could compete and give some real fight on the Boston, but it didn't happen.

Personally I think this year just had to do with injures and a lack of spending time with each other. Kyrie was out for the majority of the season, Durant per usual was hurt at times then losing Harden and not getting Anything out of Ben Simmons. Playing another full season together I think they would be much better.

Agreed chi.  Their season has had a myriad of issues.  I mean obviously the missed time made a huge difference but the whole Harden debacle was I think the worst part of it.  If healthy next year (which is a huge if) they will be a top team no doubt.  They need a big wing and they need to not add guys who are hall of farmers but that are late in their career.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klay Thompson @51 for NBA Finals MVP. on: April 26, 2022, 01:01:48 PM
Thus far, I believe that Klay Thompson is the most consistent on the big 3 of the Warriors. The defense was obviously focused on Curry and that will make Thompson open because he is always the first option if Curry would passed, as a result, he will generate more points easily.

So I see the odds, and it's 51, IMO, that's very tempting.

The question is, is it worth taking it?

I mean if you are taking a long shot why not.  Golden state has just as good of a chance of making the finals and like you said klay has been good to date.  A small bet to make it fun wouldn't be so bad.  Most long shot props are dead money but it's fun to have a long term bet in place so why not.
2885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 26, 2022, 12:59:55 PM

Let's wait for the news, there's certainly a news that will come out, maybe one of the two superstars will be traded or the coach will be fired. Nets and the Lakers were the favorites coming the regular season, but look where are they now, that really tells that it's very unpredictable, anything could happen.

They have all the time evaluating the roster and the coaching staff. For now, let's just enjoy the playoffs, bad news will ruin the fun, so hopefully, they'll not make an announcement soon. The Celtics is a bit scary, but I think the Heat will have an answer against them as they are a better defensive team.

2nd round possible match-up.

Celtics vs Bulks, which team do you think will be the favorite?

Honestly that series should be even money.  They are both strong teams and should be an excellent series.  I don't expect a quick series either way.  Until the Champs are knocked off I'd have to go with them even with Kris down.
2886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 25, 2022, 10:17:48 PM
Not touching the sixers game, but the Nets went from -2 down to -1.  Lots of money coming in on Boston.  With Nets at home and not wanting to be completely embarrassed I see them pulling this one out. Then tonight's game I like the Jazz +3.  Not sold on Dallas and think jazz can make a sneaky run into the wcf.
Yeah, it seems that the smart money is on the Nets now to at least win a game in this series. But not sure if Boston will allow this to happen, it's going to be very dangerous on their side to have both Kyrie and Durant gain momentum.

The handicap on Sixers though looks like a trap. Embiid is not 100% and the Raptors is not going to give up this series easily. So that +7.5, with that attractive odd is a good bet.

I see a lot of people hitting the Raptors here.  Don't like it these closeout games is perfect for a team like the sixers, just getting free throw after free throw.  With everything on the line if raps are down a couple they are gonna foul like crazy trying to get back in the game.  If I had to lean I'd take the sixers I think.

2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 25, 2022, 06:29:30 PM
Before the start of the playoffs I was really rooting for Philadelphia 76ers to finally grab that Larry O'Brien trophy. Embiid and Harden accompanied with solid young players and some veterans. Many of their guys are armed with deep playoffs experiences. I think Miami, Phoenix and the young Grizzlies cannot beat the 76ers. Probably only Boston and Milwaukee can match them. I was supposed to bet on Philly and Bucks but I am regularly betting my balances so I cannot stuck them for too long.

Yeah, I believe Philadelpia has chance to win ECF since Boston and Milwaukee will be having a close match on the next round while they only face Miami which is beatable by them considering how strong they are right now. The west already weakens the power house team Suns due to absence of Booker. I believe GSW will reign WCF this time around and possibly get the championship.

I'm a GSW fan the moment SC comes back again.  Grin

Honestly the heat look like the most dominant team in the East.  Yeah they are playing the Hawks so that needs to be taken into consideration but they are stomping them.  They match up wierd versus the Bucks but who doesn't with giannis.  If I had to guess it will be a heat/Bucks ECF.  Just not sold on the sixers.  If someone figures out how to play them without fouling then they will take them out.
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 25, 2022, 06:26:07 PM
The Suns are now in a bit of trouble because Pelicans are slowly picking up the pace and already have a momentum, especially now that Booker might be out for this entire series after It was reported that he might be out for 2-3 weeks for a hamstring injury.
My prediction would be, whoever wins game 5 will definitely win the series, even If this match will settle in the game 7.
Pelicans now have a higher chance.
Suns are a great team since last year, but can they get the championship this year?
Homecourt advantage, Suns have the upper hand. But it all comes down to the perfection of every play that the Suns will make. That's true, Booker is out and will not be seen on this first round again, worse even the 2nd round if they advance in this series. But we know how CP3 does miraculous things whenever he controls the pace of the game. Ayton and almost the Suns roster will be dragged by that contagious energy and will win most of their games.
They've been through this without Paul or sometimes without Booker. I know they still can. They won't be the number 1 in the league if not.

Honestly this series looks like a 50/50 shot now for either team.  Not because it's tied up and stating the obvious but the pels didn't luck into a win or 2 they won those themselves.  Game 5 is going to be an all out fight to the end and I wouldn't miss this game for the world.  Suns need to figure out how to fill the hole Booker made once he got hurt.  Not saying 1 for 1 but they need to figure out a different way to win.  Not betting on this series too up in the air at this point.
2890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 24, 2022, 08:49:23 PM
I'm taking the heat -1.5.  I think with capella out the heat will find a way to win on the road.  And then I'm taking the Suns ML.  Chris Paul looked amazing in the 4th quarter last game and I'm thinking today will be more of the same.  Pels have a tough time with cp3, Suns with the win here tonight.
2891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 24, 2022, 08:47:29 PM
I didn't think the Boston Celtics could beat their opponent so easily, Brooklyn Nets can't do anything. Jayson Tatum played amazing and scored 39 points and played a big part in beating his opponents.
Not only is it possible to win matches with Durant and Kyrie, the rest of the team is playing pretty poorly. So it was a match that was going to end fast Smiley

This is a break out year for Tatum, he now becomes a superstar in his own right. You can see that he improves at every department, specially his defense and passing ability. See how he locks down Durant in this series. Kyrie and Durant non-existent in the last 3 games. So as Jalen Rose says, bring the "walis-walis", lol, because it's gong to be a sweep.

Tatum has always been this good it's just it gets showcased during the playoffs.  When him and jaylen brown are on the floor together and on their game they are fun to watch.  They are gonna be a tough out for any team in the East.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 22, 2022, 08:51:45 PM
Timberwolves blew up a lead of 20+ points in a matter of minutes. How can this be possible in play-offs ? Simple. It's because Wolves thought that the game was over as soon as they have that lead. What is even worst for them , is the fact that Memphis now is having a great mental boost that will most likely push them to take the next W and the series.

And that is inexperience for you, you thought that the Wolves are done in the 2nd quarter. And they increased their lead in the 3rd and everything was going well with them. Until they found out that the playoffs are very different, the intensity is high. I doubt that they can come back from that kind of lost mentally.  So probably it will be Memphis 4-1 here.

That's where the coach needs to step in.  Timberwolves played as if the game was over.  No defense and played on offense like it was a preseason game chucking up terrible shots.  Going up 2-1 with home court back in their favor for Memphis, this game 3 might have been theist critical ge for the wolves to win and they were more worried about gloating in game than putting Memphis away.  Coach needs to be somewhat responsible here.

Biggest choker this playoffs so far, but if you like betting on the Timberwolves, probably betting on 1st half is way more appealing than the full game.

What about the Bulls tonight, they were playing great basketball in the last 2 games, though the series is 1-1 but they are back at home now and the Bucks does not have Middletone tonight, you think Bulls will have their 2nd straight win?

As long as DeRozan puts up a huge number, bulls should be fine IMO, at least if they lose, that handicap could still save them.
Happy to see them as dogs in the betting sites.

Gonna be a tough game.  I actually think bulls might struggle.  Knowing Kris is out I think giannis will take a more active roll in the offense knowing he has to be the man.  He is a tough cover.  If I were the bulls I'd rather Kris be in and hope that Kris has an off night and misses a bunch of outside shots.  But being underdogs if I'd put money on the game it would be the bulls.  Gimme the under on the game too.

The best advise for people "stay away from futures" is great advise.  So little amount of people win on these bets.  Crypto is too volatile and it's a 24/7 market.  Things can change while you sleep and get margin called before you even wake up.  Stack sats, hold and enjoy the ride is the way to go.

Interesting points all..

But why not dive into our Telegram group and do a little research by visiting our website before making these comments. I'd happy have a chat with you to tell you a little more about our project and why it's a solid investment.

It's a shame so many of you are so misinformed about the crypto space... I'm guessing some of you may have lost money in the past due to these scam tokens you mention which gives genuine crypto projects a bad name.

Our team are Doxxed, and we've been whitelisted on Mad Meerkat Finance (heavy vetting procedures). Our liquidity is locked and we're definitely here to stay.

I won't waste time defending our token, you will see for yourself in the coming months.

Happy investing all.

Misinformed?  No.  Whenever anyone makes a new memecoin(the 10,000th in the market) why should they expect to take it serious.  You are just leaning on the trend of memecoins to make money and using the greed of people to hopefully drive up the price.  This coin along with 99.9999% of the others that are made daily are not needed.

Alright! Cheesy

It seems that the majority here are having a good day after winning the games earlier, congrats guys!
Let's bet again, here is my pick for the games tomorrow and let's see if we can have a streak. Here it is.

Miami Heat -2.0
Chicago Bulls +2.5
Phoenix Suns -1.5

Good luck everyone!

Nice, I'll tail you on the Phoenix and Heat because the I still believe that the Phoenix Suns could still win even if there's no Booker on their current line-up and they may struggle but knowing that CP3 is there then they can always figure something out. While the Miami Heat will have a tough game against the Hawks this time as the series is now 2-0 but Butler can always carry them just like the past 2 games. GL!

Yeah in Atlanta that's a tough bet.  Trae should get some home cooking here.  Jimmy B the X factor.  He needs another monster or else atlanta has a good chance to take 1 or 2 at home.  Not touching the pels/Suns especially with the Suns on the road here.  I trust cp3 but Booker is the true floor spacer for them.  Want to see how they adjust with book out the full game here.  Gonna be some interesting games tonight and tomorrow.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 22, 2022, 02:57:16 AM
Twolves completely dominating the Grizzlies in the 3rd. It was a battle of the spurt, Twolves put a good lead in the first quarter, but then the Grizzlies cut in in 7 at the end of the first half. Now Twolves on a run, increasing the lead to 20 points.

Don't know if the Grizzlies still has legs to make a comeback in the last 1 and 1/2 quarter. Ja Morant doesn't have his usual game, but it's up to the others to help him out in they don't want to be down in this series again. And lucky for those who bet on the underdog Twolves because the chance for them to win is high with how the game is turning out to be.

Well was rough to watch butemphis covered lol.  Only took a 21-0 run to tie the game up in the 4th quarter lol.  Wolves were too worried about gloating that they forgot the game wasn't over.  They played like complete garbage in the 4th quarter, thank you. 😊
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 22, 2022, 02:52:06 AM

Minnesota Timberwolves literally choked on their Game 3 series against the Memphis Grizzlies. They are in lead by as much as 26 points and take note that in the last 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter, they are in lead by 20+ points. They blew that and the Grizzlies outscored them by 37 points over their 12 points the next quarter. That was an insane choked of the day.

I nailed betting on Memphis Grizzlies and feel regret that I didn't add more bets during a live bet where the Grizzlies have 2.6 odds to win the game when they are behind 15+ points. In the first place, it's difficult to risk a bet for them when they are behind a large lead. Regardless, a win is a win.

Another one, my bet on the Dallas Mavericks is likely to have a chance to win although it's still early to conclude it. They are currently in a lead of around 17 points approaching halftime. Hope their momentum continues. Brunson and Kleber as I mentioned above are the gunners while Dinwiddie still finding for his momentum.

Terrible coaching on the Timberwolves side.  Never calling timeouts to stop the grizzly runs and then not managing a 26 point lead.  Wolves for whatever reason were jacking up 3s early in the shot clock.  At a certain point you need to understand game situation and throttle back.  Limit offensive possessions for Memphis to come back.  Crazy game.

2900  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 21, 2022, 07:33:04 PM
Until now Elon Musk still holds 9.2 percent of Twitter shares, Elon Musk is also looking for a way to buy the Twitter company, maybe with the amount of finance he has, he can buy what he wants, but the problem is whether Twitter is willing to sell the company to Elon musk, but according to the media I read Twitter is not willing to release Twitter to Elon Musk, because the Twitter board last week did everything possible, so that Elon Musk could not increase his shares, now Elon Musk is determined to buy Twitter and he wants twitter to be fully belongs to him, we have to wait whether Elon Musk managed to buy the Twitter company or not??

Apparently the board hasn't met on this.  Elon secured $45+bil from himself and Morgan Stanly to buy out the rest of the shares at around a $41bil value.  I haven't read too far in but appamtly they set in a poison pill so elon can't hostile take it over.  He can still keep buying chunks of shares from the public but don't know how much of a dent he could do that way.  Interesting to watch this all play out.  Dude is out of his mind lol.
