2881  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anonimizing your bitcoin on: June 28, 2022, 09:53:27 PM
they got caught a few months ago and arrested and the courts shown how the investigators followed the money even via the XMR exchanges.
Nothing is safe. When any coin hits an exchange, from the deposit data the exchange knows who own the coin. I wonder if the exchange they used had KYC requirement.

I think privacy is a human right so idk if this is the right place for this topic but I wanna spread the word on how to remove the all seeing eye of Sauron and its 3 letter alphabet mafia gang friends from seeing your crypto transactions.
It's very easy in theory but it's very hard in practice. Coinjoins are safer then anything else. People may say centralized mixers are safe but we really do not know what they do with your data.
2882  Economy / Reputation / Re: I could be wrong but what if? on: June 28, 2022, 09:16:37 PM
Do you think as a bounty manager or campaign manager, KYC will be better?
Pay them real money or at least by existing established coin, there will be many who will join campaign without hesitating for KYC. But when you are paying them with worthless tokens, asking for KYC is too much. I will not be surprised if you get less than 1% of the hunters that usually a campaign receives.

Bounty team are looking for free marketing. They do not care who is alt and who is real. As long as the keyword typed and spreading around the internet, they are happy.
2883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another "Bitcoin Is Here To Stay" Thread 😁. on: June 28, 2022, 09:00:10 PM
Today, Bitcoin is here to change the financial system, it is here to take financial/monetary power away from the governments, away from the banks, away from so called financial authorities, bitcoin is here to take financial/monetary power away from all this entities, and give the power back to those it really belongs to, but still alot of people are refusing to accept it, even at the detriment of their future, the Chinese government are at the forefront of the war against Bitcoin, and some foolish people are blindly following them.
By nature people are trained to follow. You will have a leader or a group of powerful people who will make rules for society and the rest will follow it. This is how human were trained from the ancient time. The powerful people always took advantage from it. Unfortunately people know it but still they are just too afraid to make their own way. Democracy was never there. The only example of democracy is bitcoin.

If the internet faced challenges in its early days but today, it's a success, give your reason why you think bitcoin can not succeed even far better than the internet.
The post man never liked email. Internet was a bubble. Obviously now it's bankers time. It's all propaganda from the groups who will lose their power.
2884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I started Bitcoin investing on: June 28, 2022, 08:45:25 PM
Damn, you're probably one of the first I know of who started so recently, and actually got something great out of it, well done to you, fair play!
Not fair played but I will say nailed it. It was impressive from ImThour! You are making exact peak and bottom. Most of us don't. Personally when I sell to cash some coin, I find price moves further up after I sell my coin and when I buy then price moves further down LOL. I don't mind it when I buy because I am always in DCA mood but when I need huge cash and after selling I feel disappointed. It happens to me all the time.

True, people are just posting anything
Some of them are still continuing 🤣
2885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To build your Professionalism on casino on: June 28, 2022, 08:35:46 PM
1. A gambler should gambling as an entertainment, not as a way to make money or the earning source of money.
Unfortunately, not many do it. Mostly people gamble to make money. It starts with fun but when they lose and start chasing the loss then thing get wrong. I know people lose everything because of their gambling addiction.

4. It is more important to read the terms and conditions carefully other wise everything will be invalid.
No use, ultimately these terms and conditions protect the house. You have no advantage from it doesn't matter how favorable it sounds to you.

I used to be gambling addict. It was hard to get back to my normal life but I am glad I did. I remember all my weekly wages used to spend to bookies with the hope that I will recover my lose from this round. I was almost broke at some point.

Download, verify wallet, create a wallet, make it backup, try to recovery your wallet as a test for your backup. Remember to set up a strong and unique password. Don't reuse password or create your password in a template of your own.
OP was sharing his experience of starting with bitcoin 🤣

How did yours begin?
Long story short, I worked for bitcoin. Also I had DCA plan since long time. In addition I fall in love with bitcoin. Understand the benefit of having a decentralized financial system, bitcoin will be easier for you. Consider it as the future of economy, it's not just an investment.

Which casinos are overall loved around here?
Sportsbet.io, Stake, Crypto.Games, Fortunejack.com, bitcasino.io and many more. There are many casinos who were able to create a positive brand value and slowly they became big in crypto currency niche.

All above with not mentioned many. However please do your own due diligence without trusting anyone's opinion.

2888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: June 28, 2022, 10:59:40 AM
You never know what's going to happen next.
True. But we are funny to be honest.
When price is at the peak ($60k and above) everyone was thinking they are going to miss out and jumped in to buy. They were regretting why did not they buy when price was cheap. They do not want to miss it. But now when the price has declined 60% and more, they fear what if it disappears or some are still waiting for the price to decline more. Most of the investors have no clue to have a plan.

Have a buying plan, accumulate as much as possible. DCA helps. Market has given you a chance again. Take it or leave it.
2889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bear market be more significant on: June 28, 2022, 10:49:45 AM
Bitcoin cannot be predicted anymore. Too many whales joint the party.
It was not predictable anytime too. Market is setting up it's own the price and no one or two user can not do it. Huge sale or huge buy can have an impact in the market but that is always short time. In the long run it's impossible to manipulate the price.

I think this bearish market is worthy to buy more and it would be the golden opportunity.
The market needed a correction. I think we are at this correction stage before we will have another bull run in the coming days, week, months or it might be year too.
2890  Economy / Reputation / Re: My fears about forum trust system. on: June 27, 2022, 11:38:09 PM
Anything above DT2 is a huge network. It's like LinkedIn 3rd and more connection. Almost everyone is included into the network so there are no point for anything above DT2.

My fear about the trust system which is in accordance with 1miau: If a group of scammers upto 50 persons are working together and one among the 50 gets a positive trust. He can in turn trust the remaining 49 scam users and they inturn trust one another. Then, the trust system would be compromised.
With the current net score which is just one inclusion (then maintain the score 0) to be in the DT2 is too easy. A bad DT1 member can make as many DT2 members as he wants. We already have a discussion and most of us consider we should have a net inclusion of above 1. Higher the number of net score is safer for the system. I personally would consider anything above or equal to 3.
2891  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: June 27, 2022, 11:26:24 PM
I am making that claim just to highlight the fact that 1edgy is not compromised. Nothing more.
Be sure you do not throw away the private key. This is unlikely thought however if anyone is able to find the key and they are able to sign the message using the address then everyone will believe that 2nd person over you. You can not prove your ownership anymore. So that 1edgy address is as important as your new one.
2892  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com issue on: June 27, 2022, 10:48:30 PM
I am taken to a recovery page after entering my password. Either I have to provide my 12-code security key or reset my wallet. It's a 8 year old wallet, I don't even remember where I kept my recovery code lol
It does not matter how old the wallet is, you should have kept your 12-code security/seed somewhere safe. What if Blockchain.com shuts down there business or anything happen to the company. You will lose access of the wallet or safe to say you will be in trouble.

Did you try to use another browser, cleaning your cache?

I am booting my childhood PC(after I fix it), maybe it has the keys. Maybe it doesn't.
Hopefully you find the key. If you do then make sure you write down the 12 word seed in a paper and keep it in a safe place.

Best practice is to forget about this wallet. Once you get the key, create a new wallet in Electrum, transfer the coins to the new wallet. Write down the seed of the new wallet in metal or in something that is fire proof. There are many techniques to keep your seed safe in physical form. Use whichever easier for you.
2893  Economy / Reputation / Re: Promoting potential scam site on multiple threads on: June 27, 2022, 07:50:52 PM
Three out of five posts from today has his website advertisement. He is upto spamming the entire forum LOL
Report and solved.

I am pretty sure markvin is involved with that potential scam site. Still, I haven't tag him. I will see the community response.
He hasn't claimed but putting the link on posts proves that he is desperate to get attention from users on the site.

Last signed message from my address https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5397314.msg60045138#msg60045138

If I was an impersonator, I would have changed my password and email by now. I am still the same guy, I can verify with my reddit and twitter account linked to this profile(I might have posted them somewhere in the past).
It's a fuckup from blockchain.info's side https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5404256 (I can post a video too about how I am unable to login, if you don't believe in the post). I am still logged in from the same device and IP as well.

Edit: I have mentioned my github account in a post from 2018 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3485877.msg36121990#msg36121990 I still use it  Smiley
I was also selling my steam account back in 2019, but nobody bought it. I still have it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5167150.msg51887812#msg51887812 (if anyone is on steam, they can add me  Grin). And the comments on my profile are made by old school friends(TimeTraveller (ユリ) <3 and rainy; they are still one of my best friends. If anyone wants, I can ask them to comment again with whatever message you want)
If you can find any other associated account, I probably still have it. It's just this wallet  Cry  maybe I can get it back once my phone is fixed
All quoted.
BlackHatCoiner simply wanted to say you do not lose your key. In your case it seems there are many other things to prove yourself but many cases there will not be. So without signing address it's hard to know who the real owner is.

2895  Other / Meta / Re: Is one forum rule needed? on: June 27, 2022, 12:15:12 PM
If an user threatens another user (especially a rather new account) with getting him banned... is that OK? Or, better asked, should we do anything about it? (report or anything). Is a new (unofficial) rule needed?
No threat considers ban-able or punishable unless it's a death threat. The forum or specifically the community is against it. It is a serious offense too. But I do not believe anyone who really is planning to kill someone is going to tell it in a forum.

It's freedom of speech, let them practice it. The German board is divided into two sides. They will cool down at some point.
2896  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] DT2 Status; how many net inclusions should it take? on: June 27, 2022, 12:07:19 PM
so far everyone voted for either of the two above.
Whatever the net everyone is thinking, it is obvious that a net of 0 does not work properly, very easy to misuse.

Do you think there is any chance that theymos will implement a change in this regard?
This is a very good question. History tells us that there are very little chance for him to do something about it. He must have other priorities 😉

2898  Economy / Reputation / Re: User: Unknown01 threatens me with a forum ban for saying my opinion on: June 27, 2022, 10:51:44 AM
You and your colleagues (Unknown01, thandie, MinoRaiola, s0nix, Poly#Crypto and Beobachter_90) have been shitposting for a long time (from time to time) and not "only in the last few days".
Assuming you are team one and Unknown01 side is team two. The following applies for both team to restore peace.

When you see a shitpost, report it to local moderator. If he removes it then it's a shitpost. If he does not then it's fine. It may still look shitpost to you but he is a man and the forum also gave him right to judge a report before removing it. Whatever you get from the report, be happy and move on. Use the report button, it's there for you always.

Merit can be sent to anyone and admin does not mind. As long as they are not misusing source merit (if anyone from them) then there are no problem. If anyone is using source merit as misuse form then theymos will remove the merit source. Any such case for a merit source can be reported to admin.

Anyone is using trust feedback to favour their own interest, use "~" before their name in your trust setting page.

Finally ignore button really helps. If anyone is quoting you, talking wrong against you, let them continue. They will stop once there will not have any reply in it from you.

Unknown01 vs 1miau

I still have my popcorn, it's delicious 😂

I think you mean Upgrade00? Upgrade00 is a quality poster.

But Unknown01 is mostly active in the German section and in spam megathreads, facilitatig post like these:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1041310;sa=showPosts;start=560
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1041310;sa=showPosts;start=540

He was even accused of low posting quality: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2360806.msg57024047#msg57024047
Earlier I checked his post history, recent merit history but I was not able to figure out how did I feel that I was seeing him a lot of time. All his posts to be fair except few in gambling boards, are in a local board where I never or very few times visited.

You are correct. I was tricked by mind. It's definitely Upgrade00 I was thinking. Ignore him, you will not see his shitpost and feel better.
