They better they can win the next one and get Simmons back to help game 4. I can see that Inoue will try to be less aggressive on the early rounds and will look to make the fight long. Yes, a trilogy is bound to happen if Donaire will make this fight into his favor.
Hopefully, Donaire can win and will strip Inoue of his belts. I am sure Donaire will be obligated to give a trilogy in case he wins, so let's see if we have a different outcome in this rematch. BTW, Casimero is just waiting to fight the winner of the rematch, but it seems like he is getting the attention. I guess he should continue trash talking after he can defend his title. That is still undecided though if Donaire can really strip Inoue this time, I would not deny that I'm for Donaire but it is really hard to deny Inoue's prowess and we've saw that Donaire is struggling to hurt Inoue because the latter is trying not to feel the punches from Donaire. But in this match we will see a different version of them as they will improve more. If Donaire will manange to defeat Inoue here, I agree that a trilogy will happen. I think majority of us here are Donaire fans, we have seen him grow in the last 10-15 years becoming one of the best. But yes, it will be a very hard fight for him against teh Monster which for me is not yet hitting his prime years during their first fight and yet he already defeated Donaire. So he has improved a lot since then that's why Donaire's chance are slim but he won't take that, he will fight and wanted to test Inoue again. I am a fan of Donaire but I will not be biased with my judgment, I still think that the result of this rematch will not be far from the result of the first fight. The younger fighter (Inoue) will still dominate as he can use his advantage which is his speed and power punching on Donaire. Donaire is a great counter puncher, but the question is, can he hit a moving Inoue? |

Congratulations to the Ginebra Kings, that was always a comeback win by the Meralco Bolts but Ginebra keep their composure, and with the help of the fans, they were able to win and lead the series. Memphis looked worse than I expected. I mean they are the second seed in the west, which is a HUGE thing, they had a 56 win season and the west is not that bad either and they are second there and ended up losing to the team that played in the play-in tournament. Maybe they will win the next 4 games and we will forget all about this, but my expectation was a sweep, so compared to that getting scored 130 points and losing the first game was a bit different feeling.
I don't think they can win the next 4 games, Minnesota did a great job on Morant, they know how to limit him and that also affected his play to his teammates. That 1 win on the road by the Minnesota is already huge enough for them to take the lead in the series, expect that game 2 is still not easy for the Grizz. The warriors were like I expected there was no shock there at all, Sixers also played as I expected too and actually they were the most entertaining team to watch as well, Mavs vs Jazz was the only boring game that I couldn't really bare to watch the game, so I stopped, then opened the highlights so I would at least see that, and even that was too boring  The warriors look like a real championship team now, they are very dominant and they don't even give a chance the Nuggets to have a close game. Well, we can understand though because they missed their 2 best players, and with that said, it's impossible for the Nuggets to heavily rely on Jokic alone. |

Congrats Spence. Almost, if refs did not pause the fight to check on Spence, Ugas could have go for a KO as one time in the fight he hurt Spence bad. The comments I saw were saying that refs are rigging the fight, I don't know, don't want to judge but it looks like it. LOL.
Anyway, this fight is very entertaining, it's a toe to toe fight and Spence showed his power if was a TKO (stoppage) because the doctor might not want to see Ugas blind if the fight still continues.

I admit that I am very surprised by the course and the result of the Los Angeles Clippers - New Orleans Pelicans match. ^^ From what I observed on Bivol's training videos in preparation on this fight, he seems to be very agile at his weight, uses a lot of feet, in and out and maybe this will be his strategy. But as you have said, can he maintain this during the duration of this fight? what if Canelo found a way to slow him down just like in the Caleb Plant fight wherein in the middle of fight, Canelo got his rhythm, and then slowly takes over the fight.
That will be his gameplan but that may change on the fight night if he saw Canelo is using another technique, there will be a lot of strategy to each other's movement and surely Bivol will gather everything to defend his title successfully but knowing Canelo he won't give up easily and will always find a way to find that certain weakness of Bivol. Canelo is really unpredictable and that will be Bivol's biggest challenge and if he cannot read behind Canelo's movement, that same challenge will turn into his biggest nightmare. Yeah, probably is, they know that they need a lot of head movement and feet because they shouldn't be a stationary because Canelo is going to target that head. But with a lot of feint and moving away from Canelo's strong hands, maybe the fight will go to distance or Bivol getting lucky by catching Canelo coming inside. But that is a small chance, Canelo's boxing IQ is also very high because of his experience fighting a lot of champions. That's what I admire from him, he lights to fight the champion and take the risk, and the good thing is he beats them easily.
