Yeah! Almost all the governments around the world are trying to eliminate paper currency. In countries like US or Sweden, paper currency is limited to approx. 35% But when we say, not paper currency doesn't directly mean blockchain or bitcoin. It may be other cashless means like Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, etc. So as per securities of these methods, they can be well managed if they acquire 100% of currency system. So on the whole, it is possible for some nations to completely eliminate paper currency without much worry!

Bitcoin already emerged as biggest player in the field of best performing assets! In 2017, Bitcoin will become more popular in small and developing countries. Several African and Asian countries will start looking for it. India and China will emerge as biggest players, Bitcoin already trading at 10-20% premium in these two countries.

Bitcoin is future of payment becuase- 1. Cheapest means of foriegn remittances. 2. A completely decentralized currency. 3. Best to use in online business with minimal fees and formalities. 4. Along with currency also act as security to invest (Best performing asset over last 2 years)

Bitcoin's price is determind by market forces that is demand and supply. How can you say China controls bitcoin? Are you saying, farmer growing apples in his field detemine the price of apple!!

To measure the increase in Bitcoin users, it is best to compare Bitcoin in circulation within a year with general price over the year. It would be best! Other comparisons may not give clear picture

Hey Buddy, I visited your faucet and it was good. Reward is decent and worthy according to timings. One thing I wanna add is that you should try adult ad network. Don't worry if it would reduce your visitors because your faucet's name is on its own suggestive that it would include adults ads. So you can go for it without worry, it may better increase your ad revenue.

You can add the following option too-
PTP - This is one of the best option for both members and site owners, especially for bitcoin sites. Assign some reward for every 1k visits. Allow manual surf traffic too as it is converting. Ofcourse, no auto surf traffic.

I fear it is possible. Governments always look on Bitcoins with suspected eyes. Its totally in governments' hands whether they want btc to prosper or not! No country would ever wants it currency system to be dominated by Blockchain when other means are available like cashless transactions.

I think your question should be opposite! Altcoin without Bitcoin? Presently, Bitcoin acts as a common measure of value for all altcoins. To Bitcoin, altcoins hardly do anything good! Bicoin is one man army

I don't agree investing Bitcoin in other services is at all safe! But it is all good to hold Bitcoins as it is. Well, if you say factors liker Bitcoin collapses, what if your bank becomes insolvent! It all depends upon possibilites, some may be prone, some may not! But if I look present situation in my country, investing in Bitcoin is free from risks you mentioned above

Wow, listened about Brainwallets for the first time. Ok, I will not go for it. For me best for holding Bitcoin is Paper Wallet and for daily transactions is Online wallet. Any better suggestions?
Brainwallets are fine but human sometimes can't generate a passphrase that is secure enough and If he does , chances that he forgot the passphrase over the years are high. An online wallet that doesn't give you control over the private keys are never suggested , not even for daily transactions , here is my order : 1. Hardware wallets 2. Paper Wallets 3. Desktop wallets (for daily uses) 4. Web wallets (that gives you your private keys) Ok! Thanks for your suggestions. I will go for Desktop wallet now! As per private keys, do blockchain.info gives them?

Thanks for the quick help. I have total control of the account, and there only seems to be one scam victim for a sum of 0.15 BTC (they used my account and its reputation to organize an alt trade and got the other person to send bitcoin first). However, I am more than happy to pay for out of pocket (it's really my fault for having a crappy password that could be cracked).
The red rep is no longer needed.
Ok buddy, Congrats for having control over your account again. Lol! I have removed neg trust already. All the best for future!!

I never recommend investing Bitcoins in such sites or cloud minings. Everytime users are one who lost money. Well, Bitcoin in its own an investment. We all have seen 250% hike last year. I better recommend holding of bitcoins then throwing them to scammers.
(I don't think topic belongs to Bitcoin Discussion, mods please have a check.)
