2881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam duckdice.io on: March 25, 2023, 05:37:35 PM

They accused me of something unclear and do not want to pay me my full amount. In their chat can not help, communicated rudely. At the post office answer for 3-5 days.

What was the accusation they made on you? It will be good to know for people who are responding to look into such and get you a reasonable answer. You have to show some prove if you want to accuse a casino because that is how your story will be believed. Show some screenshots of what happened then you can be advised appropriately.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pastor Shuts Down His Church After Winning About $140,000 In Sports Betting.. on: March 25, 2023, 03:25:21 PM

The above affirms to the fact that many, are into what they do, not because they love it, or because its their calling, but because of the money they get to make from it, just imagine how many years this pastor have deceived his church members into believing he was genuinely called by God to serve as a pastor..

We have seen pastors that have brought different prophecy that are not founded including that they were asked to conduct washing service to ladies in the church so that they could be married and you see such pastors and assistants bathing women in the church premises half naked. We can all access these kinds of pastors stories that we begin to ask their place in the message they say God sent to them. Of course we know that many of them are fake but gullible people fall for their gimmicks.

Now my question is, As a business or as a career person who is also into gambling/betting, would you quit your current business or career if you won the same amount of money from gambling/betting?
Be sincere and state your reasons for your decision..

I don't think that will be reasonable to quit from your foundational source of income because you earned money from gambling except the plan has always been to adjust into a different source of income because no matter how much won, if you don't invest properly then the money is as good as gone some day.
2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 25, 2023, 11:12:43 AM

So what are your speculations over this USA elections. And I know that everybody has their own speculations and also wins and also loose. So let's see what will happen?

If you had given us the list of contestants on the ballot then we can do some research and give a close speculation of our opinion based on the outcome of our enquiry, you didn't do that so how do we speculate that? Or which candidates are we to speculate against? The American election is still far in 2024 and that means the parties nominations and primary elections are yet to be done, so speculating on gambling of the American in coming president amounts to effort in  futility for now lets give sometime for that.
2884  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: March 25, 2023, 09:21:07 AM

So the two methods that you have conveyed are just an opinion, not a method.
No one can deliberately make gambling a profitable place.
In my opinion, profitable gamblers are those who can control themselves and their finances so that they don't experience too many or too many defeats because in gambling what is certain and real is only defeat.

Going by your second sentence, I think people are now deliberately working their ways into making gambling a profitable place. These people have made it a business venture either because of the economic hardship. They have brought a business angle towards gambling especially in soccer that I'm sure of because they can do their analysis and go for best odds no matter how small it is then they increase their staking power. They have realized that in soccer betting, if you bet so much games at a time in a slip that the chances are there higher to lose than if you bet very few games or even just one game at a time. So that is a deliberate attempt to be profitable in gambling when you reduce your losing chances and increases your winning chance and this is very possible in soccer because that is what many families are now surviving with.
2885  Economy / Gambling / Re: We NEED Bitcointalk Members Feedback on Casino Challenges! on: March 24, 2023, 10:26:23 PM
This is really interesting to know, really challenge games are competitive and attracts gamblers more because of it focus to win the challenge. It is fun to play challenge gambling, the challengers are more keen for the ultimate rewards. I can't say if scrabble game is played on casino already, you may introduce it to the challenge and this will help grow your casino especially if a new comer in casino gambling.
2886  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 24, 2023, 07:32:55 PM

My children are at home chase from school, I could not pay fees again. What could be the cause of scarcity of cash?

Not being able to pay for children school fees is not because of unavailability of cash because if you had cash in your bank account you can do an online transfer to the school. It is unfortunate with the complain but you are not the only one feeling the hard economic reality globally. However you have to take a step and effort to get things done for yourself, don't always wait for the government because they will not be able to provide jobs for everyone. Get a skill. Writing is already a skill, so develop on it and the social media can help you grow faster
2887  Economy / Economics / Re: Effects of Cryptocurrency Adoption on: March 24, 2023, 03:47:42 PM
empowering entrepreneurs to innovate and grow their businesses.

How does Bitcoin do this? Do you mean creating wealth for entrepreneurs because I won't agree with that assumption. Or you mean by giving entrepreneurs access to optional financial services for them to leverage on then I will agree because bitcoin is traversing the business world so  transaction of business and payment is easier.

In Venezuela and Brazil, legacy financial systems' costs and bureaucracy drive people to experiment with and switch between different cryptocurrencies.

This is the main achievement of Satoshi in bitcoin creation.  Unlike fiat bureaucracy, what you need in bitcoin payment approval is 1 confirmation.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 24, 2023, 02:44:59 PM

If Casino's in Macau begin accepting CBDC's, It may prompt other casino's to follow suit especially in places where CBDC's already have the Legal Tender status.

The question of cbdc being accepted in casino is still early and hasty because it is not all countries that have even accepted to adopt bitcoin transaction. And the currency to use in an online game should be used by many other countries to be able to have access to deposit and withdrawal. Even at the moment,  it is not all cryptocurrency is used in casino so using of cbdc will be jurisdiction based if that will happen in any case. That means some countries will be restricted from using their own cbdc.
2889  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Role of Currency Spectators In Currency Value Case Study of 9ja ₦ vs $ on: March 23, 2023, 03:51:22 PM

-A lot of efforts have been put in place to salvage the already worsening situation of the naira against the value of the dollar

Bro abeg me I never see any effort wey dem don make all. Since 1999 at least we never see any better thing wey government do. If you dey think say naira redesign go help the dead currency to come back, abeg make you forget that one because redesigning for now isn't the solution in the face of no production. Nigeria no dey produce anything, no electricity, no road and other amenities wey go reduce concentration on dollar demand. Now CBN don say dem go release the old 500 and 1k ,so wetin dem finally achieve with the redesign. Or just one thing wey I see dat have reduced is kidnapping for now but that is not even their aim for redesigning the naira.

-so the question is, is it justifiable for the CBN to use anti-graft agencies such as the EFCC to arrest currency speculators/p2p Exchange?

No it is not justifiable. The government is not able to sincerely control the dollar because so many things are lacking in the Nigerian system.

-What is the rule of speculators in the outcome of the value of any asset a case study of the 9ja ₦ vs $.

Me I no even blame them. In fact if e no be them self ordinary man no go even get access to the dollar. Them go carry all put for their backyard as them don do for new naira currency. The people wey dey travel or do international business for dey hear am no be small. So dem don be middle men between banks/CBN and masses.
2890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual Betting/ Real bet on: March 23, 2023, 02:54:22 PM
General saying about betting on many games at a slip is that you are likely to lose and that is correct in my view. If you are betting 10/15 football matches, you have increased your losing chances.

Surprisingly i was wipe with their manipulation at this point i just have to quick to wait for the previously bet matches to finished running.

Don't be quick to switch decision. You could have waited for your football bet to see the outcome but you hastily went to play on vfootball and you got hurt. It is not manipulation but it is already programmed.

Have you experience the manipulations over vFootball betting?

There are no manipulation in vfootball. It is already scripted or programmed. It is simply a luck game and never on your prowess of analysis. Don't play it if you don't have chances of being lucky because it can't be analysed.
2891  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin rising from banking collapse...Permanent or new Fed stops ahead? on: March 21, 2023, 09:10:56 PM

TLDR: Do you think that the Feb or other Bitcoin adversaries have any potential plans to either hurt Bitcoin, or make the banking system seem more reliable for a period of time again to prevent the current uptrend from continuing?

Bitcoin has become like a golden fish that can't hide. In the midst of many other assets, bitcoin is the one that defies the detects of  regulation and so no form of direct regulation will limit the growth of bitcoin. Gold, silver, copper and other derivative assets are directly regulated but bitcoin is not. Therefore whatever decision by fed on bitcoin will atmost drag the price briefly down but it will correct it self after a while and that tells us self sustaining ability of bitcoin against the government. The banking system can not be reliable because it has been exposed of corruption through government third party standard making it difficult for bitcoin to be made irrelevant, the relevance of bitcoin is found on the purpose which it is fulfilling already.
2892  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 21, 2023, 06:47:23 PM
I don't know if anyone is thinking the same thing, Banks are collapsing and they want to regulate crypto?

I don't think that banks are really collapsing. The government in most places plan to reduce the inflation rate and they are now understanding the economy theory that too much money in circulation can push up the rate of inflation, therefore printing of money with impunity like before is now avoided. Government are almost thinking alike and having same focus at a particular dispensation. This can also explain the role of cbdc .

How is this going to be possible?

No

How can a corrupt system brings a transparent regulation to the crypto space?

Something to ponder over. Government is corrupt but blockchain isn't. It looks to say darkness trying to have its way over the light. Cryptocurrency exposes the illicit activities to the public, it is the freedom the world deserve going through the places like lightening and can't be regulated .

If anything needs regulation, it is CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES only.

This is already happening through KYC.
2893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 21, 2023, 05:49:44 PM
I believe that a casino that has good help desk is serious and ready to do business because taking care of customers complaints helps to build the good image and reputation of the casino. Take for instance what will happen when you have issues online and you can't find anyone to resolve that for you and likewise in casino, it is therefore important to play in casino with top notch customer care. Another gray area for me is when casino concentrate on bonuses without putting other things in place. This means there concern is to lure customers with out necessarily taking care of their service.
2894  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 21, 2023, 04:53:55 PM

In fact, those who bet such large amounts are usually not a average gamblers. They certainly have a big earning source.

Such gambler is not a new comer in betting. He must have been trying his hands on it for long and in fact considering the amount used, he may be a steady winner that has seen gambling as a business and increasing his stake is not a problem. For real risk takers in gambling, it is a chance to increase there wealth, for example the rap star, drake has huge appetite for gambling and has done several with stake.com also winning very big wager
2895  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity of money on: March 20, 2023, 07:06:08 PM

Is affecting so many countries in Africa, America and Europe, the rate of unemployment, insecurities and corruption is becoming alarming by day.

I think you are not correct to group all these indices of a failed state or country as to affecting America and Europe because they are not severely felt in the manner you likened it there. I believe you are majorly talking about Nigeria and african at large. The scarcity of money in Nigeria is a result of the government cashless policy but if that is objectively planned to grow the economy is debatable with the corrupt elections conducted and producing illegality all through the positions to the presidential. So the scarcity of fiat for now is particular about Nigeria and not America or Europe. However, printing of new currency has not been a solution because it will increase inflation rate.
2896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 3 Reasons Why Cytpocurrency Gambling is more Addictive than Fiat Gambling! on: March 20, 2023, 03:36:09 PM

Although fiat online gambling users are more than crypto ones, they tend to visit an offline casino after a few online sessions as they miss the atmosphere of an offline casino.

The popularity of online casino is growing fast because of cryptocurrency that has been introduced to it and soon the paradigm will shift that more gamblers will detest playing off line.

Quote
Whereas cryptocurrency casino users would always be loyal & habitual which makes them more addicted to gambling than a fiat gamblers. Below listed are the three reasons which I think make them more inclined.

No casino players are not loyal, they are only playing on their preferred casino, they are playing to win and not to be loyal. Everyone wants to win

Do you guys think my assessment is to the point or do you think there are more reasons related to cryptocurrency gambling addiction? Please go ahead and reply to this thread. If you have a valid point that I think is related to this thread then I would add it to this topic.

Well some of the reasons are cool but I don't think Anonymity is the reason because reputable casinos are driving gamblers to KYC making them disclose their identify which is not the purpose of cryptocurrency.

Personally I think one of the major reason is the speed of deposit or withdrawal without any third party. That could be addictive that because nothing encumbers a bettor from depositing so a gambler is at liberty to always refund anything he runs out of coins. The speed of deposit delivery at 1 confirmation is more comfortable than playing through fiat.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bet on WWE on: March 20, 2023, 12:47:18 PM

As a gambler will you bet on such fight, when you know that the fight is fixed and the outcome of the fight is not for real,or will you go ahead to bet for fun?

It is not really for the fun that people bet and some people are desperate for money as far as there would be expectation of money. Fixed fight are scripted making it strictly as luck game. I don't bet unreasonably so I may not do a crazy bet as such. WWE is not a realistic game or sports because it is manipulated.
I understand that this topic exist already.
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 20, 2023, 08:15:29 AM
To be honest, i dont understand why some ppl so mad at KYC... and would like to know opinions of who is against that, just to understand an their view.

You don't need to be mad at those who don't like subscribing to KYC enabled casinos, they have there own reasons too. Such reasons are not far from the nature of cryptocurrency against fiat which is decentralization and that in itself suppose to mean from of interference through blockchain. The liberty that cryptocurrency is suppose to guarantee is interferred by KYC. Cryptocurrency takes out third party involvement in all levels guaranting freedom and secrecy of hodling and identity. These are major reason for those people and introducing of blockchain is defeated using KYC. This means the casino using KYC are regulated in the jurisdiction that they are operating either by gambling laws by the government.
2899  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Role of Currency Spectators In Currency Value Case Study of 9ja ₦ vs $ on: March 19, 2023, 06:12:02 PM

-so the question is, is it justifiable for the CBN to use anti-graft agencies such as the EFCC to arrest currency speculators/p2p Exchange?

Arrest bawo  Grin lol. Sometimes I go dey think say whether the people wey seat for government seat no sabi think? Because most of us know why our naira dey fall yakata. When I mean government seat I mean in fact the number 1 seat wey be the president because na there everything end as far as Nigeria kind of democracy dey concern and this is unfortunate as the legislature and judiciary dey subsumed under the president not even the executive. We know say na because the level of the rate wey dollar demand dey increase dey high since we no dey produce anything even toothpick self and people need dollar to take buy imported products. People also dey jakpa, dem also dey carry enough dollar join body abi na politicians wey don dey hide dollar now no be even naira again. APC distribute dollar for this election, in fact no dollar for banks as we dey now. So parallel traders or P2P merchandising no be the problem because dem go also operate according to the economic theory of demand and supply.

The solution na to dey produce somethings den it will reduce the pressure on dollar and so many things go naturally fall in place by demselves. This na common sense but these people no want gree do am, then allow Obi nko dem still dey form jagasomething.
