2901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 05, 2021, 11:57:59 PM
Congrats and nice you've made it. I've been agonizing to post such a winning, but I wasn't able to do it. Myself used to spend big on casino games and what is the capital amount that you spend to make this huge earning. If you're from a third world country, then this is more than enough to spend for a lifetime. Maybe I could get your suggestion or do copy betting same as people do with trading. Cheesy Cheesy
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 05, 2021, 11:55:10 PM
One who've made good profit out of bitcoin will never think of any other assets for investment. It is all because of the trust it gained over the short term. In ten years time, the market have progressed and has reached a new position. This won't happen with any traditional way of investment. Another thing, the adoption level and acceptance on real life needs have been constantly increasing with time. This is more important for real growth than a push or some form of manipulated growth.
2903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice technique on: December 05, 2021, 08:32:30 PM
Dice always function out of luck. You can be successful in dice, if you're lucky. No specific technique applies on dice. If a technique is cent percent effective, then it should be working unlike the time period. One among such is the martingale strategy, people get success and losses in another single roll the next day. Not only Dice, other games were also have similar pattern of functioning.
2904  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your analysis says about btc in Q1 of 2022?? on: December 05, 2021, 05:25:11 PM
The market makes the small holders panic and get out of the market. This is used as an opportunity by the long term holders for accumulation. The price have dropped all of the sudden. Now the resistance development happens, and this could make some positive movement on bitcoin price. This time around $48k will try to reach $50k turning the market so progressive. If it wasn't able to cross, surely the market will crash even.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 01:44:40 PM
I think the health of the players and public is more important than the cricket tournaments. Since the new virus variant is originated from South Africa, it perfectly fine for the Indian team not to visit the infected country. Indian cricket board and other authorities should make the decision in the best interest of the players.

If the Indian team goes ahead with their plan to tour South Africa later this month, then it is going to have extreme consequences. The most worrying aspect is that the majority of the Omicron cases in South Africa are among children younger than 5. If the Indian players come back with this mutated strain to India, then it is going to start the third wave of COVID in India. And here in India, none of the children younger than 18 years are vaccinated (unlike the case with the majority of the developed nations).
India recently marked its one billion vaccination two months back. Then onwards the government is planning for the vaccination for kids, but nothing has reached a conclusion and kids aren't vaccinated. Maybe if the South Africa tour is conducted surely this can lead to some complications. Cricket boards will surely take this into account.
2906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to accumulate more bitcoin other than buying with FIAT. on: December 05, 2021, 01:19:06 PM
Back in the day there was a faucet where you could solve a captcha and earn up to 5 Bitcoins per day.  Wish those days still existed lol
Those are days when bitcoin is given to people as free giveaway. Such scenario have changed with the increasing adoption resulting in price increase. The price increase made more such bitcoin faucet sites go shut. Everyone wish for such old days, but it is quite impossible. For now the best way is provide services in exchange for bitcoin.
2907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 03:38:27 AM
I don't think that India will be able to tour South Africa. The COVID cases are exploding there and yesterday they reported more than 16,000 cases. One week ago, this was in the 2,000-3,000 range. Omicron is destroying South Africa, and I am sure that the situation will get worse in the coming days. I don't know what was Jay Shah smoking when he announced the tour. Even if the tour goes ahead as planned, many of the senior players are going to pull out. And no sporting activity is happening in RSA right now. Everything is stopped.
India's tour of South Africa will get postponed. Two days back the new mutant have got spread over 30 countries. By then more countries have stopped major services. Japan is completely shut, because once affected it is quite hard to keep things under control. Once again the economic situation around will suffer, somehow the precaution and the safety measures of social distancing along with usage of masks keeps things in control than the previous.
2908  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Economic Advantage on: December 03, 2021, 11:59:47 PM
This prevails in most third world countries where there is big economic problem, particularly unemployment. Cryptocurrency gave access to earn something than nothing during the lockdown when more number of job cuts took place. By the time some were lucky to make it a better earning out of luck/knowledge acquired on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The need for blockchain developers have increased a lot, and the same have made College/Universities offer more number of courses for blockchain related studies. In my view it hasn't made people to be economically independent, big it has added some earning to make life better.
2909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: December 03, 2021, 11:50:08 PM
With fees so high, I'm wondering if big gamblers are switching from BTC/ETH to other options. Is there any data on what's being used? With limited options, what coins should a new platform consider supporting?

Edit: thanks for all the responses!

There's no data that supports that VIP's are switching from BTC/ETH to other altcoins majority of them don't mind the fees as long as it will not go 10% or higher than what they are sending, only small bettors prefer altcoins that are cheap but whales don't mind the fees, casinos are already accepting altcoins, they have done this because they want to cater to as many types of players, they know that different players support various type of coins.
This is the truth, because most of the VIP players were the whales who never take into consideration about the transaction fee. Every cryptocurrency accepted gambling house have got more number of cryptocurrency to be used according to the convenience. This makes it more easy usable according to their need than thinking about the transaction cost.

Myself used to switch from one cryptocurrency to another when I never experience good winning. This means I try the luck through different cryptocurrency usage.
2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 30, 2021, 11:34:30 PM
Qatar World Cup 2022 Match Venues

Lusail Stadium
Seating Capacity : 80000

Al Bayt Stadium
Seating Capacity : 60000

Al Janoub Stadium
Seating Capacity : 40000

Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium
Seating Capacity : 40000

Khalifa International Stadium
Seating Capacity : 40000

Education City Stadium
Seating Capacity : 40000

Ras Abu Aboud Stadium
Seating Capacity : 40000

Al Thumama Stadium
Seating Capacity : 40000

Among this most are new Stadium that are built for the World Cup matches. Khalifa International Stadium is the only old Stadium that is into usage since 1976. I've made this just after going through an article that describes the construction of these stadiums costing deaths of more than 65000 migrant workers.

When we talk about World Cup and football we should also remember the soul to RIP. Another thing, the government haven't revealed any information and it isn't ready to talk about it. More people's dreams have got killed within this stadiums, because migrant workers dream of making a better life and to help the family to grow to next level of life work day and night. Once life is lost, who is gonna take care of families that depend on these migrants. Football players are getting paid in millions and billions.

2911  Economy / Gambling / Re: Raffle No.1 - 0.81 ETH Prize - 10x Players 0.1 ETH Entry on: November 30, 2021, 10:43:41 PM
No I would not be Escrow, If users who commit to play dont send their payment to winner, then I would to ensure the winner was paid fairly.

The result would be done completely fair for example using the Bonus Ball of The National Lottery.

I am not familiar with your country's national lottery.
However, here, what stops me from making 10 new accounts, pinky swear that I send the 0.1 ETH from each account, obviously not send any and claim the prize from the winner, since you'll pay it from your pocket?

It's a very good point, but Newbies could not play. The idea is to have genuine users seeking a fair gambling experience for which I would hope the users would help me police.
Maybe you could try this with your locality or with known persons. If that turn to be successful, then you start your gambling service on the forum. Right now people won't trust, and it isn't an easy thing to fund a raffle with 0.1 Eth when there were more trusted gambling platforms to spend.
2912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin on: November 30, 2021, 09:27:39 PM
Going through a news source thats been published few months back clearly shows from which year India is making plans on regulation, ban and different plans on cryptocurrency usage within the country. I've shortened the article and highlighted the points that shows India's plan of developing its own cryptocurrency way back in 2019. So, this isn't the first time India is planning for a cryptocurrency which is going to be a digitised currency in my view.

2913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money day trading Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2021, 11:41:35 PM
Making money in day trading is easy but it has more risks as compared to the long term holding. As day trading requires more time and it requires constant concentration, so you should have to analyze the coins really well before buying the coin as there will be more loss in day trading when the price dumps as compared to long term holding.
Making money in day trading isn't easy. One cannot easily predict the price movements same as that of the stock market. Here no one knows how the market changes were happening. Even the experts fail in providing precise data about the market movements. One should have basic learning about trading and also the mind to learn continuously observing the market which will increase the chance of making money through trading.
2914  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 29, 2021, 11:12:33 PM
There was too little reason to think 100k beyond momentum continuing endlessly even then the trajectory for gaining so much in this little time didnt match up.   If price went exponential then sure any price can occur but I dont want price to act unstably even if it was straight up, I know it'll return down the same path.   A steady rise over years will be the ideal, it might even exceed 100k if forming support every 10k of gain.
Right now the price action is challenging the weekly average, its gained 4k in a few hours impressive and keeping the recent low is bullish; it could end the year well but I still estimate it keeps in this region to further revise prices with volume in time forming support for a proper move to higher prices.

I prefer a slow growth and a healthy one than to see the price of the market to rise and then after whales taking profit, we go back to a more cheaper market and this has been happening since then. Hoping not for a bull trap this year, many will surely lose money because of this. Let’s end this year on a better market, don’t spread FUD.
Yeah, a stabilized growth is more important against the steep growth. In recent days more Whales have got into the crypto market. Some will try to manipulate and create bull trap, but it won't work well as the past. People are much aware of it, and are more concerned about maintaining the portfolio than selling out of fear.
2915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: November 29, 2021, 10:28:59 PM
MicroStrategy keeps on counting the number. Once again this time with a big number. It keeps adding the bitcoin holding to its reserve, making use of every dip. Following this other corporate firms will also start doing the same. This isn't surprising as said, but it keeps doing big thing. Right now it holds about 0.58% of bitcoin's circulating supply. This makes them strong holder of Bitcoin. It has bought at an average price of $26769, and if the market price reaches $100k just think it's holding volume growth. This is just amazing.
2916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: November 29, 2021, 06:56:28 PM
The price that fell days back have got recovered. As the price of bitcoin have crossed $58k it'll test the market to cross $60k. If the price of bitcoin stabilize within $60k it would make ath. By the time there is also chances of decline in the market upto $50k based on the market move.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 29, 2021, 06:19:51 PM
Logan Paul have received several warnings from popular people for the fight against Mike Tyson. In recent days he has got warning from Joe Rogan and Michael Bisping. This has been the big match in terms of box office. Once the exact date is announced we can see more people going for the odds and booking tickets.

Logan Paul seems to give regular updates on his workout for the upcoming fight day. We don't know what the jury team have planned on the winning of the entertainment fight. Cheesy
2918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin on: November 29, 2021, 05:31:01 PM
Based on the news that has come out after today's parliament session, the finance minister of India has stated no proposal to recognise bitcoin as currency in India. The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill 2021 to ban all private cryptocurrencies. However they're planning to create their own cryptocurrency. She also mentioned that the government doesn't collect data on bitcoin transactions.

2919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 29, 2021, 02:24:01 PM
For boxing fans POV, Tommy has the edge over Jake as he has been fighting for professional matches. Though with little experience but sure he has more experience and training than Jake do. But then again, this is an exhibition match lol.
Yes it is, and we never know if they already agreed on what to do in the right because this fight is not regulated by a sports commission, its main intention is just to generate money by giving the entertainment we are expecting, but if it will favor Jake Paul to win, he will clearly win this despite Fury is the favorites to win.
More such exhibition matches is being fought and has got scheduled. This increasing number of exhibition fights making it more of an entertainment than real fight. In USA we can see street fights in which fighters harm with blades and bleed to entertain the audience. Nowadays exhibition matches were also doing the same.
2920  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: November 29, 2021, 10:08:36 AM
I think that's threat from government over anybody that is using bitcoin, because i know very well if country is hundred percent (%100) populated, at list fifty percent (%50) is aware of cryptocurrency and definitely they are using it, so is not possible for government of a country block her citizens Bank account because they are using bitcoin, i think it's impossible and it can't happen.
As said, it can be considered as a threat. The government is elected to do the people's need. Even when they're making policies, they should take the people into account. Everything have got positive and negative side.

A government should act wisely favouring the people. As mentioned, a government/bank blocking ones bank account for using bitcoin will make the user find an alternate way to use cryptocurrencies. Why to make people go for it, better is to regulate and support the necessity of technology.
