4  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving the economy with creative thinking. on: February 13, 2024, 11:59:33 PM
I'm not sure what the OP is trying to convey, based on what he mentioned, it looks like it is time for the survival of the fittest. As of now, hard work is a must, along with smart work, which is much more needed as everything is dependent on technology. People who were able to think smart will progress and reach the next level of life, while the rest will just move on with what is available.

As the needs of people grow, so does the economy. Based on this, we need to broaden our thoughts and plans, if not, things won't work according to our predictions. In all situations, we need to keep ourselves prepared to face the worst-case scenario, only then it is possible to handle all sorts of situations.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Quitting Smoking Has Two Big Benefits. on: February 13, 2024, 11:14:12 PM
any advice for cigarette addicts is very difficult to recover from. Cigarettes are a good part of life for addicts, not for non-smokers. physical damage, financial damage is not a problem. Even in difficult situations, cigarettes are a staple in everyday life. whatever the risk, be ready to accept the risk
For cigarette addicts, they no longer see the risks and warnings on cigarette packs because they consider smoking as something they must always fulfill in life. So cigarette addicts will always use money for cigarettes even though they also consider other things as daily necessities that must be provided for themselves. Apart from that, some cigarette addicts also work diligently to be able to buy cigarettes every day so that they no longer think about the physical damage and financial damage that can happen to themselves.
Particularly, they never think about the harm they are doing to society. Because when a person smokes, he isn't the only one affected; the surroundings do breathe the smoke left by them, making the surrounding people passive smokers. Smoking addicts don't have any reason, but for everything they smoke, Particularly when they're under stress, after food, and so on. Thinking about the family and kids, many people in my surroundings have left the smoking habit after looking at people getting cardiac problems due to smoking.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem in our society is that average person don't have on: February 13, 2024, 11:06:31 PM
The average person doesn't have the capital flow, but with education, he or she can achieve what they agonize about. It'll take time, but they can achieve it. With bitcoin, the risk is high, and the same can't be handled without good knowledge. Some people are lucky that they invest without proper understanding and reap the profit within a much shorter time period. Further, they utilize the profit in a better way. This doesn't take place with everyone, and in the past, bitcoin as a whole was affordable for everyone, but none were aware of it. Now it isn't possible for everyone, and the average person looking to get better through cryptocurrency investment can look for better altcoins in the market.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL bitcoins, you can do it! Look at HODL camp map to build up strong hands on: February 13, 2024, 10:44:10 PM
Holding really matters in investing in Bitcoin but it doesn't mean we have to do this our whole life. If we take a look at the price chart, prices are growing but can we think this will be the same trend in the next few years? Not for sure and it was uncertain. So I could say that holding will not be forever as it also depends on the market situation. Selling our Bitcoin during the bull season is a perfect option IMHO and get on the train back again once the market correction starts. But yes, this needs strong hands because waiting for 4 years is not as easy as people think as we need to deal our emotions as well.
Here, what we're talking about is the retirement life, particularly a successful early retirement. Life will be enjoyable when we are able to make the future comfortable. Throughout his life, he isn't sacrificing anything or holding, he's just investing €500 every month without thinking about the market situation. This has now turned into a lot of money in terms of USD. As suggested, selling at the peak and buying back is a good choice, but for people who don't want to take risks, this is also a wise choice to make a better portfolio in cryptocurrency.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP telling people how much Bitcoin you have on: February 13, 2024, 10:37:37 PM
This is the common question the majority of us encounter, and when I'm asked about my holdings, I used to say that once I had a few bitcoins, but now I'm done with them and I don't have anything left. People never ask further questions because, in the past, my life was completely dependent on cryptocurrency and I was spending a lot of money. Now I don't have any, and I've changed my lifestyle, and people will be noticing every change. As mentioned, we should not say it to anyone, and I've made this mistake in the past. None have stolen or threatened me, but many have said he has big money, and finally, I don't have anything.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need more influencial women in crypto to help the gender embrace it? on: February 13, 2024, 10:15:57 PM
The debate on gender arises where there is no equality and women are treated down. This means that for the same work done, women will be paid less and men will get higher pay. These kinds of activities can be seen in some places. In such a situation, there is a need for stronger women who are capable of fighting for their rights. Here, no such issues were recorded, as the majority of the activities take place in an anonymous manner. Compared to the past, the involvement of women in the cryptospace has increased. This is quite good and appreciable.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin. on: February 12, 2024, 11:59:22 PM
After doing my research, I came to realize that this may probably be influenced by personal choices. Because looking at it thoroughly, some people would pay for items using things like Gold, Land, and other assets. But in the eyes of a money literate, that may be totally wrong.
So, I would love to ask and get this confusion over with. Is it ok for you to purchase items with Bitcoin? If yes or no, please state your reasons so we can all learn from it.

Thank you

Buying and selling bitcoin is still pretty ideal. It looks like we'll be going through a lot of bubbles over the next few years as this currency becomes more widely understood, used and accepted and it's true that the biggest risk is regulation but why not as long as it's legal where we live but If we look at the development of BTC, many people now see this potential.
Buying and selling bitcoin could help with making a profit, as the volatility of the market is experienced, unlike the bullish or bearish trend of the market. When it comes to buying a product with bitcoin or not, it is completely up to the person's choice. We use it today, and later, when the price has grown, we regret buying a product with bitcoin, having the feeling that if we had kept it, we could've gotten better money out of it. For this reason, the usage of bitcoin, similar to the currency, is very low, and the majority prioritize it as a high-profit investment over a transaction source.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: February 12, 2024, 09:14:45 PM
Bitcoin is an innovation in technology. It came for some reason and is now being used as a multiple-usage asset. The value rise is the prime attraction, many say it as freedom, and with different terms. If we make a pool, we'll come to know that people are into bitcoin not because of the technology or the freedom it provides but for the earnings and the earning opportunities it has provided. In my understanding, it is an asset that has the ability to change one's life through its growth. This means a person who has bought bitcoin and is holding it will surely experience growth from the investment someday.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Struggle now to invest in Bitcoin for a bright future. on: February 12, 2024, 09:08:15 PM
A debt-free life is a peaceful life. If you go through average Joe, surely he'll have a good amount of debt. Running to end his debts, he doesn't have time to think of investments and take risks. Some have the mind to take risks, and they make themselves better over time. I have debt, and the monthly EMI to settle the debts is my savings. If I hadn't gotten the debts, I could've had spare money to invest in bitcoin. When I allocate money for life needs and the debts, everything gets paid, and what is left behind will be a few dollars that don't work with investment.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the lost BTC? on: February 12, 2024, 09:01:50 PM
There is a particular limit, and scaling beyond the limit for the purpose of adding those lost bitcoins doesn't seem to be a fair process. Because when someone recovers the recovery phrase and gets back his lost bitcoin, the idle bitcoin gets active in the network. To avoid such issues, it is good to stay within the limits. Every bitcoin has its own owner, and someone losing it is their fault, and the network shouldn't be altered for the same.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Socity and Contribution of Bitcoin! on: February 12, 2024, 08:55:13 PM
Bitcoin has been invented as an alternative to the traditional banking system. Over time, this could serve as the mainstream transaction source. Even in such a situation, it isn't possible to think of a cashless society because the value of bitcoin is compared against the USD and other countries national currencies. Bitcoin is provided with a denomination in sats, but the value per satoshi is defined in dollars. Bitcoin is an eye-opener for users who want financial freedom, and in terms of contribution to society, it is in its very early years of existence. Only time can give the proper answer to this.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do cryptocurrency increase the standard of living on: February 12, 2024, 08:47:27 PM
Cryptocurrencies have created ways to avoid unwanted spending by banks and other third parties. Another thing is that the market volatility is high with cryptocurrency compared to other kinds of trading assets, such as the stock market and forex. This lets users make good earnings through trading, and the technology adoption gives way to the acceptance of cryptocurrency into business. Through different ways, cryptocurrency can be earned, and its growth over time makes a difference in the lives of those who have kept hold of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are these P2P crypto platforms SCAM? on: February 12, 2024, 08:42:31 PM
KYC mandatory platforms should not be seen as P2P platforms, because they have your data already, and you can't use their P2P service without passing their KYC verification requirement first.

This makes the whole P2P a lie to me, something that has been going on in crypto space for so long now, when the centralized entities comes, they will change every thing from privacy and decentralization into centralized way and stupid people will always welcome them.

Any centralized exchanges offering P2P services are third parties themselves, because they have secure all P2P users data by asking for KYC.
Other than the name, everything taking place in the exchange is done in a centralized manner. The primary purpose was to eliminate the third party, but here the exchange serves as the third party between the users. Data is money, and the exchanges also find it good business and do it in an organized manner.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the basics in Bitcoin before investing on: February 12, 2024, 08:36:06 PM
People who want to invest in bitcoin should look for an additional source of income, or they should allocate a specific amount regularly to invest in bitcoin. Their minds shouldn't think of making big money tomorrow by investing it today. Some get lucky to enjoy such a profit, but the same isn't assured for everyone. When we invest in bitcoin, it is always good to go along with the market and enjoy the profit, and we shouldn't have any timeline within which it needs to provide profit because the market volatility could turn the entire situation against our expectations at any time.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TOUCHED $50K TODAY. BULL RUN IS HERE? on: February 12, 2024, 08:29:59 PM
With more than 50 days left for the halving event, the price has bounced well, crossing $50k, which assures that the bull run has begun. All users who have been holding for a longer period of time can now enjoy the profit of bitcoin. However, it is good to take the partial profit, which lowers the risk and provides the opportunity to buy back at a lower price before halving, as the market can once again experience a downturn to some point as there'll be a market correction.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: The savings problem on: January 30, 2024, 09:29:48 PM
There are really indeed life situations on which it is really that inevitable for you to avoid on which you dont really have no choice but to sacrifice one of those things just for you to save up money.
Just like on the situation you have pictured out on which there's no way that you could really be able to work well if you do have a newborn baby on which having both husband and wife
which you do have your own jobs would be an advantage but due to that condition then one of you would really be needing to give up on which it would be usually your wife would be the ones who
would really be giving up their job just to focus out on babysitting or taking care of it rather than on getting a maid.If your salary could be able to patch up then it might be
considered on getting one and proceed but well it would really be just that depending on you.

For couples who both work, it will be very difficult to take care of their family if their child is still a toddler and they have to hire someone else to take care of their child, of course they have to pay for the worker and if each partner really understands and chooses to take care of the family themselves. then the couple stops working and taking care of their family and has to look for additional income from their husband to increase their income because their partner is the only one who works.

Before thinking about adding family members, it is very important for couples to have a plan to have a stable income so that they can meet their family's needs and still be able to save for their other needs.

In Switzerland, for example, the necessity to hire a babysitter becomes an obstacle and even a reason for being child free. Because a couple usually has to pay almost whole salary which one of them makes to afford a nanny. Often young adults don't want to sacrifice all of their income just to give it away to another person. And they choose to continue working and living a life without such a responsibility as a baby. I find it rather sad, honestly. Because most of them regret not having kids when they grow older. However, I can understand that reason, because the opportunity to make and to save money is very important for a self esteem.
Raising kids is not an easy thing, but this is manageable when both are working. For the first three years, it used to be difficult. Why don't the father or mother take responsibility for taking care of the child and the other take responsibility for the financial needs through the job? This means a family gets fulfilled, and there is no need to spend much on a nanny or babysitter. When we want our lives to be more enjoyable, we need to sacrifice a little, three-year break to take care of the child, which will make us happy for the rest of the years. In simple terms, where there is will, there is way.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: If Banks make money out of loans then they should reward those who borrow on: January 30, 2024, 09:20:11 PM
You've got a point about credit card rewards – they do sweeten the deal a bit! It's true, the whole idea of rewarding borrowers is a bit of a tricky balance.
Why is it so complicated? Meanwhile, the borrowers have provided everything necessary to those who want to provide loans through correct procedures and not out of compulsion. Borrowers who are willing to pay on time need to be rewarded very well because they do not break any rules, but borrowers who always look for excuses to pay late clearly do not need to be rewarded because they may have bad intentions after successfully borrowing from any party.
The person who settled the borrowed money on time was rewarded. What used to be the reward were some loyalty points that could be used for shopping. Apart from that, there are some discounts when using the card at specific stores. The same is true when paid late, What used to be the penalty? The borrower needs to return it along with the interest. There are few banks that provide interest-free loans and don't levy interest on savings maintained at their banks. This bank can be seen much in Islamic countries, as they believe that giving money and getting it paid along with interest is against the Quran.
