2901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Challenge with small investment in bitcoin on: September 26, 2021, 02:26:23 PM
Bitcoin unit (satoshi) makes it easier to invest in Bitcoin for us. So the excuse of I am poor isn't applicable here. We just need a mentality like OP to invest in Bitcoin. Of course, before that, we should have proper knowledge about Bitcoin and how it works. More important is to know about investment risk. We can't ignore the risk anyway. But a strategy like OP won't hurt even Bitcoin dump hard. Because investing from saving will not force to sell Bitcoin during dump and will not panic as well. But again I want to repeat, don't invest that you can't afford. You have to hold it for a longer, shouldn't sell it for needs unless in an emergency.
2902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What every new trader should be focused on on: September 26, 2021, 01:19:19 PM
Capital is one of the most important elements of trading. But this isn't the only. For a newbie crypto traders should invest time rather than investing a big amount of capital. Because there are a lot of things that should acquire before investing a big capital. Due to lack of experience newbies are worried about capital, and due to lack of skill, they lose in trading. To improve skill should learn many things. So during that time, I don't think capital should be an issue. Once traders become skilled,  then they could convert a small capital to big capital and that's now become a successful trader.
2903  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone tried to what looks like groom me. on: September 24, 2021, 06:13:33 PM
So if the user who contacts you through PM is right means somehow your private information has leaked. Either from the forum or some other platform where you have been using the same username or details. Since you report it to the admin, then the account would get a temporary ban, depends on the PM contents. And from now on you should be careful with your privacy. If it's exposed then you would face a similar issue in near future as well. I don't think we can help you much on that case.
2904  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My gadgets store now accept bitcoin! on: September 24, 2021, 06:03:13 PM
I think this is a win-win situation for OP & Bitcoin ad well. OP keeping role in Bitcoin adaption, and Bitcoin helping free marketing. When Bitcoin users will notice your shop they will encourage to buy something from you with Bitcoin even they don't need much. It's a kind of curiosity. I would do the same at least for the real experience of using Bitcoin directly in real life. So I believe OP will get a few new customers just for accepting Bitcoin. Even it would help others to introduce Bitcoin to those who aren't familiar with it. You have done a Good job OP, keep it up.
2905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware and Bitcoin on: September 24, 2021, 05:51:54 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency have always been highlighting if the case happens any ransomware via Bitcoin. But an everyday lot of crime happening in the world with fiat money. But it hasn't been highlighting at all. Most probably we are crypto users and that's why this kind of news pops up in front of us. But I am pretty sure a group of people doesn't like Bitcoin and they target Bitcoin to dump. I don't believe ransomware will stop even we stop using Bitcoin. Criminals will choose something else to do it. Blaming Bitcoin for ransomware is just nonsense. It wouldn't hurt Bitcoin.
2906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 24, 2021, 10:44:44 AM
Explaining Bitcoin to non-crypto people is not an easy task. A few days back some of my relatives ask me about Bitcoin. Somehow they know I am related to it. But when I try to explain about Bitcoin and how it works. Then I encounter many more questions. First of all, they are interested in how to make money from Bitcoin which isn't easy for newbies. When I fully explained almost it's take 2 hours. Then they aren't much interested to invest due to volatility. They thought here is how they could multiply money. But I explain the reality of how Bitcoin works and what was the goal. So whenever you explain about Bitcoin then should share the full story in short. The wrong explanation would lead to loss of funds and they will blame you later.
2907  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, please be aware that Bitcoin.org is compromised! on: September 23, 2021, 04:56:13 PM
I don’t know what's wrong but I can't yet access the domain; checked right now again and it’s still same for me. Anyway, thank you for the links.
It's working for me, I just check right now. Most probably it's due to DNS propagation. Because when DNS change or replace then it takes time to update over the internet and all the countries and areas don't react at the same time. You might check after a few times. You may check it from the below website where it's live by check A record.

https://dnschecker.org

Anyway, thanks for sharing it here. It's quite disappointing how hackers took the control of the site even without accessing any of cobra's accounts. It's quite dangerous for newbies. Because we trust this site, but newbies couldn't determine there is a scammy offer. By the good to see the site has been recovered.
2908  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: According to leaked documents walletexplorer.com is a honeypot on: September 23, 2021, 04:22:54 PM
Although we know most explorer tracks our IP address, still we are using it. Because we are unaware of how to save privacy. But when we fall in trouble then we regret it. I know it's hard to save our privacy. Especially once we are making transactions. For most of the use, we don't know how we could hide our IP address when a transaction occurring. I agree we can't trust the internet. We can't realize by using various free services we are hand over our details which would use against us. We are hopeless when we are forced to use the centralized exchange. Then there is no choice due to various reasons.
2909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: September 23, 2021, 03:52:00 PM
Is there any Bitcoin dip definition really? If so what is that? These are the complicated things to determine where is the dip actually and most likely we will fail to find it. Two days back the dip was below $40K and now start to pump it again. Who knows it would dump more or just continue pumping upward? If dump then when? So many questions but no answer at all. So when you take entry on Bitcoin it's the correct time for you. Don't think always you can buy it bottom and sell it top. Because it's unpredictable where is the bottom where is top.

However, I am just waiting for a little more dump. Not sure either it will happen or not, but I will not jump right now. Never mind if regret it later. I have learned from the past. I will not be hurry during investment, and I will not be panic during the sale.
2910  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Gomatoken.com ~ Rug Pull to be. on: September 23, 2021, 01:00:42 PM
@Jovovich, You aren't going the right way and that's the reason why this thread was created. It's was very simple to pay hunters payment upon the end of the campaign. Why are you worried about token dump now and didn't think about it before doing the bounty campaign? From the beginning, you could maintain payout to prevent price dumping. If you don't want to payout at the same time, then should pay step by step without any arguments.

And why are you asking to mail again, you have the list of who deserves how much token. Isn't that? Making so many rules after complete the campaign and raised the funds. The team behavior isn't professional at all. It wasn't necessary to make so much drama.
2911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Thing is about Bitcoin on: September 22, 2021, 06:32:57 PM
The most interesting thing is no one is interested in Bitcoin technology or the concept. Just everyone is interested in the price which is most volatile. OP is wondering if he could invest back in 2017 then he could make much money, but I lost too much by investing in 2017. Do you think you were would hold Bitcoin till $60K? I don't think it's possible due to our greedy behavior. Cryptocurrency isn't too easy that you are wondering. There are many facts that work on behind. If you have too much patience then most likely you would succeed, otherwise, you would lose like me. We have to improve our knowledge about Bitcoin technology before investing in that. Otherwise more likely you will be a loser.
2912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Earn While Holding Crypto Assets on: September 22, 2021, 06:23:33 PM
First of all, that's not true that you can earn crypto once you are holding it. Holding mean assets in your custody like on your noncustodial wallet. If you want to earn then you must hand over it to a third party. For example, if you want to earn then you should invest. Either on yield farming or staking. If you stake in Binance then the fund will be controlled by them. So choosing the best platform for that is quite important. I am not a fan of that kind of investment nor I am much familiar with it. Everywhere is a risk once you decide to invest. So you should research more about how could you earn safely with less risk.
2913  Economy / Reputation / Re: Nafty Token Team and Sofico Playing Bounty Hunter For Bounty Payment on: September 22, 2021, 05:48:11 PM
Seems they have been blaming each other which would clear pretty easily by providing a transaction link. I am pretty sure Nafty trying to scam hunters. Otherwise, they should be transparent with the payment either they pay directly or pay to sofico. Since there is already a red warning in the manager's profile, hunters should aware of it. But sadly I don't think hunters have enough time to see the warning. Let's wait for their response here. Otherwise, they deserve more red warnings IMO, and someone from the victims should create a red flag-3 against them.
2914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is the influencer on: September 22, 2021, 02:04:58 PM
Every asset's price depends on the demand and supply always. So the same logic is applicable for Bitcoin as well. When investors move together into Bitcoin then demand increases and as you know the supply is limited. So usually price pump then. The same reverse happens when investors start out from the Bitcoin together at the same time.

When happens this, altcoin holders either become panic or hold tight. It depends on what happens with Bitcoin. Altcoin almost always depends on Bitcoin sentiments, most of the time follow Bitcoin trends though not always. So that's how I think cryptocurrency price works.
2915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GENERAL] How can you increase your account rank? on: September 22, 2021, 01:19:33 PM
Seems OP become inactive after made this thread. @OP, if you become active to see this post, then the solution given in the first post already. And some other users already explained to you nicely which would help you to take the decision either you should hire someone or create yourself of your project's announcement thread.

For me, I always prefer my clients to create announcement threads themselves. So that the thread will be under control them especially you can update it anytime without cost. Otherwise, you have to hire someone to whom you can trust and who must be well-reputed as well.

Since you got the solution, please lock the thread from the lower left. And learn how to use the search button of the forum that would help you answer few common questions. Best of luck.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: time to add your bag on: September 21, 2021, 12:42:33 PM
Definitely, The current price zone is an opportunity to accumulate cryptocurrency. But we should always keep in mind cryptocurrency investment is always risky. Especially when Bitcoin is much volatile. I know always happen a recovery pump after every dump. But when you are wondering fill your bag with altcoin, then don't hurry up. Still Bitcoin in a downtrend. Altcoin would bleed more, it's fine if you can take entry in Bitcoin, it's less risky. Altcoin is in danger zone IMO. I will prefer to wait for at least 2/3 days more before jump into altcoin. You might get more dip opportunities. Anyway, don't advocate it as your financial decision. Get help from your financial advisor before investing.
2917  Economy / Economics / Re: Future economic fear of the rich and poor. on: September 21, 2021, 12:27:31 PM
The true fear is for the poor people in the world. They always fear how they will feed the family member the next day. Believe me, this is the real fear of poor people. They don't have fear of loss since they don't have. I don't think rich people have fear of loss and become poor. Because just see in real life, very rarely do rich people become poor. Rich means they have multiple sources of income, they don't have a fair of feeding family. Here is the difference between fear. Both have fear as you said, but the poor people's fair is more fearsome than rich.
2918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe BTC can be attacked? on: September 20, 2021, 06:52:21 PM
Do you know why still Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency even it's taking longer transaction time and higher fees? Because of security. Bitcoin networks are quite stronger than any other cryptocurrency. Lots of cryptocurrencies have been created with faster transaction speed and lower transaction fees, but due to lack of strong security, still they are the back of Bitcoin. I don't think we should compare Bitcoin networks security with other tokens or coins.

OP should read this article to know more about Bitcoin security, Can Bitcoin Be Hacked?
2919  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it stupid to NOT use BNB on Binance? on: September 20, 2021, 06:41:05 PM
Why not make it simple? We need Bitcoin and we will withdraw it. Doesn't matter the fees if need to make transactions on the address. If you want to hold BNB then of course you can withdraw it. It doesn't mean everyone needs BNB, I can't cash out BNB like Bitcoin. Almost centralized exchanges transactions fees are similar. Even you wondering to exchange from others centralized exchange, then I don't think it will help you with the savings transaction fee. If you convert all your BTC to BNB in order to withdraw and saving fees means you are still trading and wondering to hold BNB.
2920  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdraw and stop using Binance on: September 20, 2021, 06:25:42 PM
Shutting down the domain would stop Binance? Imagine what will happen if Binance is suspended. The cryptocurrency market will fall within seconds. The suspending domain wouldn't prevent using apps and still, the site will be accessible from the IP address of the host. And all the data is stored in the host, not in the domain. However, this isn't the time of arguments. For a few days hearing against Binance. Even a small exchange owner told me a few months back that Binance going to encounter a big problem soon and there is the possibility to suspend Binance services. Hope nothing will happen. I never support holding a noticeable amount in any centralized exchange, just not only Binance. If Binance itself do not scam users, then suspending the domain wouldn't lead us to lose funds.
