You're probably right but that's going to take a really long time because people that are still ignorant and still thinks that it's the 80s are still alive and we won't get rid of those mostly ignorant people for the next 100 years and that's not including their values.

those who improve their economy with bitcoin, of course, are those who do believe and stick with bitcoin. Now bitcoin has turned many poor people into rich people. and that is the reason why there is always an increase in bitcoin adoption when its value drops.

The most interesting thing is no one is interested in Bitcoin technology or the concept. Just everyone is interested in the price which is most volatile. OP is wondering if he could invest back in 2017 then he could make much money, but I lost too much by investing in 2017. Do you think you were would hold Bitcoin till $60K? I don't think it's possible due to our greedy behavior. Cryptocurrency isn't too easy that you are wondering. There are many facts that work on behind. If you have too much patience then most likely you would succeed, otherwise, you would lose like me. We have to improve our knowledge about Bitcoin technology before investing in that. Indeed, the fact that the price right now is high and the fact that there are many of people that are investing in it and there is a huge marketcap for it makes it highly decentralized and can't be controlled by some whales that can pump and dump the price whenever they want, like the other coin that are existing right now, so like you said bitcoin has the perfect balance of keeping the rich richer and give opportunity to poor people to improve their situation.

The crypto market is very volatile. If you want to invest in crypto currencies and "not" plan to hold for long term, then only invest whatever you can afford to lose. In short term the market can be a roller-coaster ride. You will never know when the price will  go up or down (like look at the market right now. Two days ago it went down a lot. But right now, it is all recovering). So for a "poor" person, if he can't afford to lose the money, then he shouldn't invest at all. But if they are willing to take a risk, then yeah. Go ahead. Let them do it. Secondly, the price can be manipulated a little. The whales can do that. Even influential person can have some sort of power over the market. But effects are always short term. And as time goes by and more people joins the market, it will be harder for the whales to cause any disturbance.

For me bitcoin is better than fiat. When you hold fiat for years then the value will be decrease because of inflation. Imagine, we working for years and save money but the value keep decreasing although we don't use the money. I think it's unfair. So I personally think that is one of the great things about bitcoin. I think the volatile price for investment assets is not always a positive thing for everyone. it's a relative thing and everyone can have a different view of the characteristics of bitcoin. It can be controlled but only by those who has what it takes to control it. There are lots of whales who has been doing that from the start. Though bitcoin has gotten to a stage where manipulation is a very difficult thing for anyone to achieve these days in it. The only coins people can easily manipulate are those small coins with a small market cap. That’s why initially when bitcoin had a small market cap, it was very much possible, but not this time around. Just gave this answer for a reason. And finally I would like to say that it favors both the rich and poor, although some people will also say that it favors mostly the rich, for me I think that as long as you know what you’re doing, it’s going to work out for you.
