DirectBet rule
Quote
In case of a tie in Half Time and Quarter moneyline bets, both selections are considered winners and the dead heat rule will apply.

DirectBet is the only book using this rule allowing players to lose on pushes. It's misleading saying that both are considered winners when both can lose.
2902  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online sportsbook recommendations on: August 18, 2014, 02:30:25 PM
DirectBet - Why do you continue with misinformation instead of fixing your rules. On pushes in some markets, you grade it so that both players lose money. In some instances, the player can lose half his money on what should be a push and money returned.

Thanks this is great!

Warning :

This "Ratings Guide" by Peeps Place is not a true ratings guide but rather a disguised paid advertisement. Ratings are paid for.

If you go to www.PeepsPlace.com you will see that the 3 Bitcoin Sportbooks that pay him for banners are the ones on top of his "ratings guide". This is not a coincidence.

The idea is simple : Make a list of all Bitcoin Sportbooks. Take a monthly payments from 3 books, rate them on top and make it appear as if they are better than others in order to direct unsuspected users to them.

Peeps Place is also operating his "ratings guide" from a self moderated thread. This is a tactic that is employed by scammers and it allows him to delete posts that he does not want you to see.

For a more accurate ratings, check out the sport books rankings by users thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577102.0

Four sportsbooks have banners at peepsplace.com. They are rated "A", "B+", "B-" and "C+".

It's great to have many rating sites but the one with the link posted by DirectBet is filled with DirectBet shills. DirectBet was ranked the #9 book in Ryan's poll until DirectBet brought in a host of shills. DirectBet manipulated the ratings of books there which is why he keeps posting the link.

The latest one has 2 posts. One started this thread that DirectBet is using. The other post he bashes Anonibet.

Casinobitcoin, I'll make the changes in a bit. Please keep out the comparisons to other books. Posts about Casinobitcoin are appreciated, but when you post about another book, it can force them to reply to their advantages over your book.

It's best to steer away from book vs. book arguments. Posting your hold would be great. Thanks

On a draw in the UFC on a big favorite at DirectBet, you can lose 1/2 your money. It shouldn't be a loss, it should be a refund according to the other books.

It's not as important in the UFC since it doesn't happen happen a lot. It will really hurt with quarters and half times in basketball and football since it happens so frequently.

This is also true for other bets such as Half Time and Quarter money line bets in basketball where we use the dead heat rule in case of a tie.

edit- posted about this at OGD and a poster said it much better than I could.  prop

I'm pretty sure Direct Bet comes into this without much if any bookmaking experience. To their credit it does appear though they are trying (and taking having rules listed serious etc.). The little I've scanned of their threads though, it would be wise for them to listen very closely to feedback, and keep friendly with a professional bettor or two for getting quick feedback. That UFC rule is beyond stupid.
2912  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – #1 LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. No Accounts. Instant Payouts. on: August 16, 2014, 08:13:00 PM
Normally you get a refund on draws. At DirectBet sometimes you win more on the dog than lose on the favorite on a push but using implied odds it's always to the disadvantage of the player.

In case of a tie in UFC fights, both selections in moneyline bets are considered winners and the dead heat rule will apply. As a result, moneyline bets may be partially winning or losing in case of a tie.

Anyone having problems getting paid?

DirectBet- I bring this up since a poster above mentioned your lines. Some of your boxing lines are confusing since boxing lines can be either 2 way (get money back on draw) or 3 way (you lose both sides if there is a draw). Most of your boxing is listed as 3 way betting.

With the UFC rules, I have never seen another book use the rule below. Ties should be refunded since you are using 2 way lines in MMA.

Webetcoins having problems.

Quote
I has been over 11 days since I began to attempt a withdrawal of my Bitcoin. I figured slight technical issues no bid deal, there should be no problems withdrawing by the end of last week. I waited and on sunday there still was 0 bit coin transferred to any of my accounts. Now I do not know about you guys but I use bitcoin to pay my bills because of this site holding my bitcoin for over 2 weeks they have caused significant financial damage to my assets. $580 was the value of bitcoin when I attempted to process the withdrawal and $499 is the current value of bitcoin. They keep telling me they will add a exchange and DDoS protection, that is nice but what about my money!?!? What about grading wagers!?!? Seriously I am at my breaking point and since there is no disclaimer stating that withdrawals will take any longer than 24 hours and it has taken 288 hours well over that threshold and the only response I keep getting from support is a sales pitch. I have a video of the activity on my account along with all emails printed and copied.
