2901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: somone steal btc from my wallet on: December 20, 2016, 03:37:49 PM
i use blockchain

but i active sms code for entering to my wallet
is it possible that he have my backup wallet?

if by "entering my wallet" you mean like 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) then there is no way a hacker could have gained access to your wallet without having access to your phone and receiving the verification (second password via SMS) token. and if he could bypass that, it wouldn't be your fault and instead blockchain.info's weak security. but I doubt that.

also did you only lose 0.01BTC and have the rest of your balance still or was 0.01BTC it all your balance?

I think so. it is rarely to hear someone with 2 factors authentication is hacked, after all you use codes sent to your phone. I assume it is not only because your computer is not clean, but also your phone is probably not clean too. so the hacker has access to your phone.

well I do not have any idea how to return the stolen bitcoin, but you can send a message to blockchain.info.
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the main problems bitcoiners face? on: December 20, 2016, 12:46:13 PM
the main problems I face :
1. how to explain what bitcoin really is in a simple way people can understand it easily.
2. there are some stuff I do not know exactly about bitcoin.
3. I am not sure if I spend bitcoin, who are helped.
4. do not have much time to earn bitcoin because I am a college student.
2903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 20, 2016, 12:09:46 PM
NO NO NO, Seriously NO, Buying drugs though bitcoin is in the gray zone considering its past involvement with silk road, A dark market where it is popular. Be careful with that OP cause I know you don't wanna spend a year or so behind the bars right?

But if you are using bitcoin with multiple addresses every transaction plus with the help of tor network the chances the buyer will get caught is really low, And usually the target are the owner and his partners

even when someone thinks he is buying on the deepweb (the safest place), there is still possibility for cyber army of police to find and arrest you. I'd like to say, "be careful". even when you think bitcoin is anonymous, who knows you'll be safe anyway? beside that, drugs will just break your body and bring disease.
2904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs private blockchains on: December 20, 2016, 03:18:53 AM
Public blockchains, including Bitcoin,
Ethereum , Hyperledger , and most altcoins, are built to be accessible by anyone with adequate technology, which has so far meant a computer and access to the internet. Meanwhile, private blockchains are secured by the ancient model of user rights and secrets that we’ve become so comfortable with ever since the first lock was invented. The fewer people who know about your database, the safer it is in this model. This can work great if you don’t plan on sharing it with many people, but throughout history, there have been countless examples of this approach to security failing. Keys can be designed to be very smart, but there is always a hacker out there who is smarter. (Or an inside guy who is sneakier.)
read more on https://magnr.com/blog/technology/private-vs-public-blockchains-bitcoin/

so it is appropriate if banks want to use private blockchain in order to keep their costumers safe. and I think they will coexist in a period of time.

2906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain real or hype? on: December 19, 2016, 04:21:25 PM
These days there are too many talks about blockchain. So, is blockchain real or hype?

of course it is. blockchain is a database you cannot see.
Quote
is a distributed database that maintains a continuously-growing list of ordered records called blocks . Each block contains a timestamp and a link to a previous block.
probably you are confused to keep it on your mind or you are asking another stuff, but you are confused on using appropriate word?

anyway the words "real" and "hype" are cannot be compared. they are totally different.
2907  Economy / Services / Re: Need visitors/traffic to my blog on: December 19, 2016, 03:08:33 AM
Open an social media campaign for your blog,It will help to get visitors

signature campaign is one of good ways to promote something, I think. but in specific, I think OP should require the facebook account to promote the site on a group with particular number of members or tag some friends.

if OP wants to promote the site in this forum, he can translate into some languages to post on local sections.
2908  Economy / Services / Re: GET NEW BITCOINS FROM SEARCH ENGINES on: December 19, 2016, 03:02:01 AM
After read "You can make as much as 100dollars per day if you work hard" and "You have to start with  20dollars lifetime fee", I saw it's not a good offer. Better to stay away from this thing because the only thing we can get from it is loss.

Unreal profit, impossible to be true and a high risk investment in a site without credibility and informations.

that's right. the words sound not promise much. of course when we work hard, we would get better income. people just need clearness about what will they get and how much.

many people here asked why OP hide the link. well I think because he has business in order to get profit by giving the link, probably.
2909  Economy / Goods / Re: blue sapphire 3 carats, 4 carats on: December 19, 2016, 02:52:53 AM
so do you shape it yourself? or you just buy it and then sell it?
if you shape it yourself, can customer request the shape?

and what is the diameter of it? is it available on a same weight or you have variation?

thanks for answering.
2910  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: December 18, 2016, 05:59:08 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

there are so many jobless in my country. so a few people steal in order to keep alive. while the president gives good jobs for foreigners coming here and does not give that chance to his people. but a community is trying to make some local products to sell. it is very good idea to increase buying local products.

interestingly I do not hear so many jobs cuts and loans here. but a few people get or do that.
2911  Economy / Economics / Re: Most Secure Currency to Hold Funds on: December 18, 2016, 05:52:40 PM
I have many bitcoins I'm wanting to cash out, but I'm debating whether I should do it for gold, or for USD. The possibility of the bitcoin price crashing scares me, whereas it seems impossible for gold to lose all value.

What do you hold the bulk of your wealth in?
in fiat I think. I have my own small bank in home. I save my money in it now and I save the other money in another place.
I do not have gold. I have ever had a few gold in pendant, but I lose some of them. so I never buy gold then.

2912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on autopilot mode on: December 18, 2016, 05:45:07 PM
Buying bitcoin and just holding them has been more profitable than mining bitcoin with real mining device. It is hard to earn what you have invested back in mining and may take several months to get that amount. Better for now is to just keep on buy/hold bitcoin and sell them for profit or do day trading on every price swing.

Yes holding bitcoin is passive way of earning.  Wink

agree, but for how long should we hold? do we hold just for looking at its price increases, and do not use it in daily life? I am not going to do that. it is good to hold, but we can take some of those coins holded when we need.

it sounds like you are so sure about this. so why are you so sure that nothing can stop bitcoin now?
2913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Series and films in which Bitcoin appears on: December 18, 2016, 05:32:08 PM
it is nice list. I have read a few threads talking about this movie. I thought it was a movie (a long movie in 2 hours length), but it is movie with some episodes in fact. so how many episodes of this movie? well if it has so many episodes, I think I am not able to watch all of them. I want to watch it after all.
2914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should some good commercial ads to promote! on: December 18, 2016, 12:21:23 PM
They are already doing it but instead of bitcoin they are promoting they are promoting gambling site like in some adnetwork like a-ads.. almost bitcoin related.. also the other are social sharing and advertise in facebook.. not directly as bitcoin..
The affective way to increase the value right now more adoption and more site are accepting bitcoin as payment..
some people or site just promote services paid by bitcoin rather than promote bitcoin as money, but I think it is not bad. because bitcoin is currency, so people need to see how it works. however, it would be better if people promote both the services and bitcoin as currency.
2915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea for helping Venezuela using Bitcoin on: December 18, 2016, 12:13:19 PM
Quote
Does this sound like a good idea? Would you donate? Does anyone know of any trustworthy Venezuelans who would be willing to work on this?

it sounds good, of course. but the thing is I do not have so many bitcoins to donate because I need it for a business and college needs.

why do not promote bitcoin to Venezuelans anyway? because I think many of Venezuelans are rich. you can impress them by your words above. if this forum has local section of Venezuela, you can repost this thread there in Venezuelan.
2916  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BITSANE.COM Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Is Now Live on: December 18, 2016, 11:12:22 AM
Instead of spamming this thread because we are required to post here by our campaign manager. Maybe we should talk about the other ways on how to help promote Bitsane. If you have a Twitter account or Facebook maybe it might help to post there to help spread more awareness.

probably we can do that if bitsane itself has facebook fanpage (in irder to share its posts) and twitter account. I do not know if bitsane has them. however, I think some people will do it if bitsane pay more for promoting it on facebook and twitter.
2917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Course Would You Be Most Interested In Taking? on: December 18, 2016, 12:33:54 AM
We are looking to conduct some market research regarding course offerings to the bitcoin community.

I prefer bitcoin programming because I really love programming. besides, we can earn so much money. I have seen so many people (probably they are devs) looking for programmer.

so affter conducting some market researches, will you offer the courses as soon as possible?
2918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the price of a product in bitcoin on: December 16, 2016, 11:39:52 PM
We all know that bitcoins price changes quickly because of its demand So if some online shop sells products and pricing it in bitcoin,
How can we price it ? Should the price change also like btc?
Most of the online store or merchants use third party payment gateway like bitpay to accept bitcoin which will be converted instantly into USD so that they will not loss due to price volatility of bitcoin.

Those payment gateway also provide simple api/merchant tool which will automatically calculate bitcoin according to price of the product, so actually amount of bitcoin to be sent will change according to market price of bitcoin.

so it is good to use the third party service to avoid loss money because of unstable price of bitcoin.

but if you do not want to use the service, you can go yourself updating the price of your stuff. it would need you to stay in front of your computer in almost all hours of your day.

the other option is you can keep the price even bitcoin price changes.
2919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Clif High says Bitcoin is the future on: December 16, 2016, 11:34:39 PM
One of Bitcoin's biggest supporters, Clif High, says Bitcoin is going to be the future of the financial world.

Have you guys ever heard of him?

He makes some very interesting points about Bitcoin on his YouTube channel.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqXZf0F4GLSX1QXBUgPXhqg

What do you guys think?

actually I have not heard about this guy, but it is nice if he announce those points to public. it means that some people will probably be interested in bitcoin. and the video is good to be shown to newbies in order to explain them about bitcoin in-depth.
2920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fucking Chinese - Part 2 on: December 16, 2016, 11:27:37 PM
see, this right here is high bullshit...
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/china-oil-bitcoin-mining-theft/

The fucking Chinese are stealing electricity, polluting the Earth with no conscience whatever, and taking over control of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is totally under the control of about 6 Chinese miners  The only reason they put all other miners out of business is because they have no morals and steal electricity.  Now, all mining and control of the Bitcoin protocol is in the hands of these immoral bastards.

Fucking Chinese.

well I see you generalize all citizens of China. I think not all of them steal, but only some of them.

anyway that's funny you said "6 Chinese miners". how can those 6 people take control of bitcoin? or did you miss something?
