2901  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 05, 2016, 06:48:23 PM
Indeed, bitcoin price does matter because many users are attached with bitcoin.
Many users loves bitcoin, many users always checking the value of bitcoin.
As we all know bitcoin is currently increasing its price, and many users are
happy with it because they earn huge profit of bitcoin.

arguably many users love bitcoin because they benefit from the rising price of bitcoin. can mean the importance of bitcoin prices for users itself
of course most people buy bitcoin at lower price and sell when the price rises. By so doing they make lots of money. In this case the price of bitcoin will really matter to the person of course.
2902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: November 05, 2016, 06:34:41 PM
earlier i was always looking toward only particular coin . but when i comes to know that a particular coin can give big loss , then i have made a stretgy for trading . i  made my purchase many number of coin with dma amount which was successful now to get profit .
yes mate buying high volume would give much better profits even its only small percentage profits still profits.
Buying high volume also helps in one way, suppose the price rises just a little then you will not sell since you have bought less but if you have bought bulk amount of coins then you ca easily sell them and make a fine profit Smiley

2904  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: October 30, 2016, 08:57:54 AM
It would seem that everyone on this message board thinks that Bitcoin is worth it, why else would we be here?  Yes, it is worth it to me - not only for the potential monetary gain but also for what it means for the entire world.  Believing in Bitcoin is worth it to me.

Not everyone, others want to spread doomsday rumors about bitcoin so that their alt coin will gain more momentum and increase in value. Some are here just for the money and instantly dumping once they receive their pay. I think only very few have genuine concern on bitcoin development and future.
Exactly, most are here for selfish interest and when they get what they wanted they will just disappear from the scene. It is very unfortunate that some people will even go a long way to hurt others just to gain some advantage or make some profit for themselves.
2905  Economy / Economics / Re: Currency v Property on: October 30, 2016, 08:51:33 AM
For me it is just a currency that gains more value over time. It is like dollars to me, I wait for a few months and see if the price gets high and exchange it to local fiat.
I can read that your main motive is to make money with bitcoin through buying at low price and selling at higher price. It is good for but can also see that you are making money through signature campaign because i saw you wearing that in your signature.
2906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks plan to hoard bitcoins to pay cyber ransoms on: October 30, 2016, 08:46:45 AM
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/oct/22/city-banks-plan-to-hoard-bitcoins-to-help-them-pay-cyber-ransoms

Quote
Several of London’s largest banks are looking to stockpile bitcoins in order to pay off cyber criminals who threaten to bring down their critical IT systems.

The virtual currency, which is highly prized by criminal networks because it cannot be traced, is being acquired by blue chip companies in order to pay ransoms, according to a leading IT expert.

On Friday, hackers attacked the websites of a number of leading online companies including Twitter, Spotify and Reddit. They used a special code to harness the power of hundreds of thousands of internet-connected home devices, such as CCTV cameras and printers, to launch “distributed denial of service” (DDoS) attacks through a US company called Dyn, which provides directory services to online companies. DDoS attacks involve inundating computer servers with so much data traffic that they cannot cope.

There is no evidence that Dyn was the subject of extortion demands but it has become apparent that hackers have been using the code to threaten other businesses into paying them with bitcoins or risk becoming the target of similar attacks.

Dr Simon Moores, a former technology ambassador for the UK government and chair of the annual international e-Crime Congress, the global body that brings together IT professionals, said the scale and ferocity of the attacks meant some banks were coming round to the view that it was cheaper to pay off the criminals than risk an attack.
The banks may continue to act in a nonsense and outrageous manner,no matter what attempt they make is going to be futile because there is no way they can bring down bitcoin, bitcoin far more power than all banks put together. Let them continue fooling themselves.

2908  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 30, 2016, 07:29:23 AM
Well, one should always have three to six months worth of monthly expenses saved up to be safe.  After that is accomplished, it's a good idea to start investing into some sort of long term retirement plan.  But, all of this is dependent upon one's economic situation and their ability to maintain a living wage....it will be a different situation for different income brackets.
Saving should only be priorities over investing, our capability will be test if we will be able to save or not. Investing is something an opportunity that we need to consider although it is risky as it takes money to make money, however if money is important to us we shall be making the right research.
Investment of money is not a risk all of the people around us are investing their money and they all have their businesses and are happy with their businesses the reason is that they are doing their hard work to give a good place to their businesses.
2909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin First Transaction? on: October 25, 2016, 06:09:27 AM
every block has a "coinbase". which is the reward payment/ coin creation log. no "spending" occurs

however a transaction between two people "spending" funds. is different.
the first transaction to spend funds happened at block 170.

their were many other transactions since then. but the notable one where a transaction occured with a real world result of the spender getting pizza for their bitcoin happened here
https://blockchain.info/tx/49d2adb6e476fa46d8357babf78b1b501fd39e177ac7833124b3f67b17c40c2a

Yes Franky1, I want to agree with you on that one... a transaction in my opinion is not just the transfer of some bitcoin from one adress

to another. The value in the transaction for me, is if value is appended to the deal. You transferred bitcoin to someone and you received

something in return. { service or goods } A tx feels empty without some value changing hands. I know a lot of people would disagree with

me on this, but this is how I perceive it.  Wink
Oh I see you are a good Economist. You are probably trying to apply the concept of transaction as viewed by Economists which you are right but most people will not agree with you because they do not know much about Economics, right ?
2910  Other / Off-topic / Re: {share} how you get your first 1 btc? on: October 25, 2016, 05:57:42 AM
I get my first 1 bitcoin from signature campaign and combined with trading and gambling. I'm collecting my salary from signcamp, trading and gambling until 1 bitcoin.
Indeed bitcoin was very fortunate to you. Just imagine people making the most out of their life by just promoting bitcoin or bitcoin related services, bitcoin has really affected lives positively and is still affecting.
2911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix Executive Wants Bitcoin as Global Currency, Considers It Cost-Effective on: October 25, 2016, 05:19:26 AM
This is a very good news to bitcoin, like everybody here speculates bitcoin will never go down, now you should believe in bitcoin more as you can see everyday we hear good news about bitcoin adoption. Bitcoin is moving toward main stream of adoption.
2912  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 25, 2016, 04:43:00 AM
Customers will only use bitcoins in paying your service or buying your goods when they are already using it. When they are paying you in the cashier and you introduced bitcoin to them, of course they will not grab their phone and do research about it. They would simply say 'no' to you and then carry on to their day. If you're lucky and that customer happened to have a lot of spare time, then maybe the next time he comes to your shop, he already knows about bitcoin and use it as a payment.
Yes, you are right. Most people will not just venture into accepting or using a particular service or product they are just hearing for the first time, but as time goes on they see that many people are using or accepting that product or service they wil also be tempted to try it and that will mark the begining of everything.
2913  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to buy antiques with Bitcoin on: October 23, 2016, 04:48:53 PM

but is this the only one?
Yup, you're right. this is the only one. I never heard or find the another site about the antique stuff before. I guess this is the only site are containing about the antique stuff.
The same thing with me, I never heard or find another site that is selling antique stuff nowadays. But the site that the OP posted was great despite of its luxurius price I like it, I was a fine-art student way back, I really love how people preserved and give some value in some little things.
2914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: October 09, 2016, 03:41:11 PM
My reason for gambling is because its enjoying, that is for me the only reason to be honest, I really like gambling a lot and its the only reason for me.

I supposed that you really are enjoying gambling. What certain games do you love to play tho? I also do really love to play card games because it is really enjoyable and every penny that i spend on it is really worth it.
Only poker games is more fun for me not other card game like back jack or other games. also bingo in playtodos is more fun for me when i win or hit some digits.. dice games its so boring for me..dragon sometimes i play in rice pond because its fun game for me..
Friend everyone has his own games with which he finds fun doing so. I think most of the people love to do sports betting while only a fraction are actually doing it for fun, because if they were handed play money would they gamble ? NO
2915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: October 09, 2016, 03:15:10 PM
Those methods to control your self is really great I think. But it will soon be disregarded when you are too excited when you are winning and too emotional when you are losing. But I do agree that having a small capital in gambling is a good practice. That way you know that you've had enough if you reached that bottom or if that was doubled.
Having a small capital or maybe deposit just something you feel you have extra ( well, even though money never is extra lol ) and if you do so, you will never feel tempered because you actually lost just a small amount while you could have turned it big too.
2916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 09, 2016, 02:56:42 PM
Gambling will never be profitable in the long term, but if you can keep yourself under control you can make a profit. i prefer sport betting

I don't think in the long run you can make a profit even though you keep control on yourself but you can reduce your loses for sure. All types are gambling need a some luck in the long run and without luck one can't win every time so gamble only for fun and invest some other places for earning profits.
But, I do see in long and people are losing their self control. Yes, only in beginning days of gambling people are having some self control, over the time they are becoming lazy and more ignorant. So, usually most of the gamblers are booking losses in long run.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: October 08, 2016, 07:25:48 PM
In my opinion don't exist any easiest way of making profit from gambling in any form. You need to put lot of efforts whether you are gambling services provider, a simple player or promoter like affiliate to earn by referring people. There are things which everyone of these categories faces in their ways. Most difficult from these is making profit as gambler what I have seen so far.
I think there are ways to make easy profit mate, for example suppose you deposit 1 btc then you only tell me how easy is it to make a simple 0.001 BTC ? very easy isn't it ? the only problem is that the 0.001 doesn't mean much to us when we had 1 btc to deposit and thats what makes us loose - go for big wins.
2918  Other / Off-topic / Re: use Bitcoin in daily life? on: October 08, 2016, 07:09:29 PM
I don't use bitcoin in daily life because I see using bitcoin in daily life as a waste of coin cause why would I spend my coin if value is still going up potentially.
I don't use my investment in daily life that's a waste of effort.
If you are talking about your savings then it is right you have to secure yoursaving and do not need to waste them while if you need money to spend then  it is better to spend them on your expenditures than to spend your life in hardship.
2919  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: October 08, 2016, 06:31:16 PM
The best way towards a steady income is still a steady job or a business. That is my strategy with bitcoin. I have a full time job that keeps me busy for the whole day and pays enough for me to have additional budget to buy bitcoins once in a while. While signature campaigns are a good source of bitcoin, I wouldn't consider them as a form of steady income as these campaigns come and go from time to time.

me too, im still have 'real job' and im mining ethereum and do ing some small job like campaign etc. the steady income from real job is very stable, usually each year my salary growing arround 5-10% but it's very small growing. i have plan to go full time on bitcoin, make my dream come true, but sometimes i doubt the future of bitcoin will be fail, and im not have any skill to make me succes in realjob.

If you are managing to earn from both of them then its never smart to quit your job and you should be satisfied with your earning from bitcoin and your primary focus should be on your day job and not on bitcoins.
But if his earning from cryptocurrency is higher per hour than the earnings of his day job then it is smarter to leave his day job and give all of his time for only to work for crypto currency. So that he will replace his day job with a high earning job.
2920  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: October 08, 2016, 05:57:31 PM
to me if the price of bitcoin is becoming stable then the popularity of bitcoin will increase and then more and more people will invest their money in bitcoin for the purpose of trading or just for transferring money from one place to another.
You are that for the purpose of transferring money people will like to put their money in bitcoin but for the purpose of trade very less people will use it as the traders like those assets where they find more fluctuations.
