2901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earnings via crypto network, daily - 5$? on: November 14, 2022, 08:44:21 AM
Hello, is there a way for us who are immobile (disabled in legs) to earn 5-10$ a day, with some kind of bitcoin strategy without big investments. If anyone knows, write in the inbox. Thank you for your cooperation, and I wish everyone a lot of success!

I've been in crypto since 2016, and I can say that back then, you could really earn, but not $5 to $10 per day; you could earn money from a faucet, save it for a week or more, and then start investing in ICOs; but that was in 2016, but today you can't earn that amount without capital and knowledge. Here is my tip: try to learn to trade and make your target profit on a day (balance your risk-reward ratio); that is the only idea I can give you, but it is still risky.
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 14, 2022, 04:45:29 AM
Do you think it's good that I sold the house then I buy bitcoin with all the money?
because in my own calculations, my house value didn't increase in date year by year. the value is still stagnan, it's different when compare it with bitcoin, I will got 3 house when I sold my house then buy bitcoin with that money in 2018 and sold it again on ATH november 2021.

(I have 2 house, which I want sell it is abandoned house)

What was your profit when you bought a bitcoin in 2018 and sold it in 2021? You could answer your question: why wouldn't you buy it again today if you made a profit? Though the problem with you is that you need to look at risk; since you sold your first bitcoin, you still came back to try it again. This time, you should consider the risk: what if bitcoin continues to fall? What would you do? Are you one of the chickens that will sell it at a low price? or are you the one who, like a Spartan, holds it no matter what?
2903  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: November 14, 2022, 03:39:12 AM
CONCLUSION
Let's stop making money and fame the only measure for success. Being successful is being happy and satisfied with ones fully achieved dreams. Money cannot buy satisfaction and happiness. Satisfaction and happiness is the true definition of success and anyone without this can not be declare as being successful.

Success is measured by goals achieved, whether for fame or money, and it is called a success when someone achieves their goal. Though you may have heard that success is not always happiness, many successful people are unhappy because they are so focused on making money that they forget about their happiness. This is where the satisfaction comes in. Sometimes we don't get our goals, but we are satisfied with where we are and happy about it. I would rather be happy and healthy than successful but sad, and I am not happily spending my wealth.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 14, 2022, 02:52:13 AM
OP should provide a screenshot for proof later or put it in this thread and also why the OP didn't provide the name of the casino site in question, this makes one wonder if the OP is really serious about this problem, if true this problem is serious of course $128k it's not a small amount of money

There are no screenshots or website names; it smells fishy. Though it was just posted in a gambling discussion, let's say that it is legit and true, but when the OP posted in scam accusation, that is a big deal, and that is the time that he needs someone that might help him and also provide proof that it is going to be a scam. 128k is big, and the problem is that the website is not legit either, but he already cashed out 68k before, so let's think positively and keep contacting their support so that they can reply fast and resolve this issue.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 14, 2022, 01:11:41 AM
In my very society it is odd addressing a female as a gambler. It comes with so much stigmatisation and  dissociation so for me everyone who cares to associate with me don't have to know i gamble not even my closest friend. Thanks to crypto based casinos and where KYC based casinos has become old fashioned so i can take up any gender or identity and bet as much as i can without anyone getting to know.

better keep that secret because we all know most people are judgmental..  Tongue if you feel you don't need to disclose your gambling activities, then don't. so long you are taking care of your own business, they don't have reasons to bash or nag you. you will be more at peace with yourself also if you know you don't need to look over your shoulders.

People are nosey all the time. It's best that nothing they know about your gambling. The ones they look at the most are your outside appearance or the things you own. One that I heard from a judgemental friend was that he noticed the 2 worn-out tires I have yet I gambled $25 that day. I get it that he must have been concerned but the way he said it was something to observe.

They will look at you and criticize you. I am sure that every time you pass by your judgemental friend, he will always say, "I am sure he will gamble again; he is very addicted to it. See his physical appearance? He is not taking a bath; that is how addicted he is." I also heard this from a friend (though I am not the one they are referring to because we also have a friend who is very into gambling). They do not think they can hurt people, and that person is not doing anything to them.
2906  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: November 13, 2022, 02:24:18 PM
~snip

Indeed, buying house is a  forced saving as we all need a house where we can live peacefully with our family and build lifetime memories without fear of paying rent every month and no fear of  frequent rental increase which adds extra burden on our budget. having said that, buying house is also considered a secure investment, particularly in countries where demand of houses is higher due to higher population growth which is the main cause behind soaring prices of homes.

This changed my perspective on life; I'm not sure where they got it, but they said that a house is a liability and not an asset because you will spend a lot of money on it and renovate it to make it nice. Still, then there are no returns, which I could say is true because you can live in a house as long as it has a roof and isn't as fancy as we imagined, but when it comes to selling it in the future, I would say that you can sell it for and earn huge profit from it.
2907  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 13, 2022, 01:26:09 PM
It's time we have to think smart, work or active income is only sufficient for short term needs, if we have a sudden need or don't work anymore then we will go bankrupt, use the money for investment, can start with a small value, don't be tempted to shop or buy things unimportant things such as gadgets, vehicles and so on.

Putting up a business is really difficult if you don't have capital. I got your point that, when it comes to business, you can earn more than a salary, but now the problem is, how can we earn a capital when your salary is just enough for you and your family to make a living? I want to start a business, a motor shop, but I am scared to take risks and I don't have the capital to get started.
2908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: November 13, 2022, 12:15:39 PM
We should really consider buying BTC as a long-term investment plan. If you think about it 10 years ago, if I started buying it, my villa is now close to the sea.

Long-term holdings in bitcoin are really profitable, and that has been proven year after year. The bear market is like a sale in the mall, and we can buy it for a cheap price. No matter how big or small you buy, at least you hold a portion of it. Imagine that 1 bitcoin 10 years ago was just a small portion, but now its price is very high. A small portion will grow over time.
2909  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 1 click, direct hack. Ikaw ba itong nasa video? on: November 13, 2022, 10:48:35 AM
2910  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: November 13, 2022, 09:41:31 AM
I plan to become an entrepreneurship, but to succeed in becoming an entrepreneurship is a difficult thing, and of course it takes good finances, now I learn a lot about plantations, especially cassava plants, in my country it takes at least 10 months to harvest cassava and I am developing cassava so that cassava is can be harvested for only 6 months

I'm not sure why it will take ten months to get cassava in your area. Because it only takes 6 to 7 months in the Philippines. Your weather has a big factor in it. as well as fertilizers. When you want to plant, make sure that the market value is not low or that you predicted it would be high in the following months, as most farmers here do to make a profit because the cost of fertilizer and labor is high. They can't get enough profit from it.
2911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Taught a Pastor Friend on Bitcoin. on: November 13, 2022, 08:50:23 AM
Good, you've taught a preacher about bitcoin. Tomorrow in the Sunday prayer he'll talk about it as like he knows everything about bitcoin (nothing offensive). This is how many pastors are doing. They want to show that they're updated with technology. To this, the way used is to get some knowledge about it here and there and finally they put forth to the Church people.

Anyhow it is a good thing, because he's considered a leader by some people around and the same will make him spread the word about bitcoin to the bottom people with ease.

There's nothing wrong with it; he'll spread the word, but I wouldn't say I like the idea of him bragging about knowing everything. Instead, the pastors will tell their stories about what they've done. Certainly, the way he tells his story will attract more people to get into bitcoin; even though the majority of those who attend his sermon will be in their 30s and up, it can overcome their fear of technology. I am hoping that he will continue to invest in it even though it is a bear market and that he will be able to overcome his losses when they occur.
2912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is good leadership enough to fight corruption? on: November 13, 2022, 07:08:35 AM
I think only the citizens of the country needs to help themselves and stop thinking selfish about your gains in just the moment you are in..

Corruption is like a virus that needs the right vaccine to cure and it's to be giving to everyone not just some,  if not it continues spreading

Even with good leadership, corruption will still exist if the citizens are not honest and selfish. Therefore, it starts with ourselves; we should have discipline and selflessness to help others and improve our country's economy. In our country, I noticed in the past administration that corruption has lessened since the president was really into corruption. However, they still found that there are still corrupt officials in government, so it is difficult to zero out the corruption.

2913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: November 13, 2022, 04:11:14 AM
No. I won't teach my kids about what bitcoin/cryptocurrency is and how to use it. Especially since my children are 5 and 8 years old. I prefer to let them play with their own world, build creativity, and get to know the real world. It will help them in the future in many ways.
It's possible that I will begin introducing cryptocurrency to them when they are 15, or maybe not, unless they find out for themselves.

You can still introduce it to them, but don't force them. As most others have said, teach them while they are young; it is better to introduce it without forcing them. I respect your opinion because it is your children, and they are still young, but having a casual conversation like "My child, I'll teach you to invest in crypto when you are big enough" or "This is how your daddy earns money online to buy you milk" Though we do not share the same opinion, I respect that since they still need to play and explore their world.
2914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bet From Other Unknown Bettors, Is This a Good Practice? on: November 13, 2022, 02:17:45 AM
This really depends on your knowledge on the game itself- remember that some bettors have a specific amount for betting.

Are you familiar with the martingale strategy? You might copy the betting system of a person not knowing that he bets double whenever he losses a round and this might interfere with your strategy or fund management. Like what most have mentioned, it is still recommended if you develop your own strategy especially if you are not familiar with a current game.
Didn't expect that but yeah, it might interfere your fund management if you carelessly copying someone's betting style. So, it depends if someone is aware of what they are doing but if not then they might lose or win depending on who they have been copying but most of the time they would still lost.

I won't suggest copying someone's betting style if they aren't familiar with the strategy the other bettors been doing. They might end up losing the same and just like what the majority said, develop your own strategy or watch closely those random bettors you are copying if they are really winning or else you will be copying someone just to lose at the end.
The point is that there will always be people betting on the different possible outcomes for a same match, so after all you still have to be lucky to copy the right predictor among the alternatives around. It's not different from betting by yourself. I think it's an interesting concept that may turn the gambling activity more entertaining for the gambler who wants to have a different experience from the trivial one where he builds his bets as he wish. Sometimes we want to follow our instincts, but on other moments we simply want to follow someone's lead and enjoy the winnings with them, almost like a 'team'.

It is still not a copy bet for me because you did not copy all of the bets; only your bet and the user's bet are the same, but both of your bets will be different in the next round. I understand your point, but in a copy bet, all of the user's bets are copied to you, so it's kind of like you're copying someone else's luck. I would definitely give it a try because it sounds intriguing, and if I could replicate someone's lucky day, Lol.
2915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 12, 2022, 01:59:31 PM
If we ban gambling adds because gamblers might see it and feel the need to gamble maybe we should ban models in swimsuits because sex addicts might feel the need to masturbate. Or let's ban food pictures because people with eating disorders will have a hard time.

Your addiction is yours to fight and control. You can't expect the whole world to help you with it. Don't ant to see ads? Lock yourself in a room and don't come out until you're healed.

It's a harsh way of putting it, but it is true. I can't think of anything else to do to prevent this. You should avoid the internet because most ads you will see at that time are about gambling. Google ads are compelling because they are based on your search results, so you will most likely see gambling ads. Though sometimes we don't care about the ads since this doesn't matter, still, this would be a trigger, so it's best to leave the internet for a while and seek help from the doctor.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: November 12, 2022, 12:58:54 PM
I think BTC ETH are the best options. Now is a bear market and the perfect time to get in.

Agreed, and as a newbie, it would be best to start in BTC and ETH. How long would you hold it, be mentally prepared for it, and keep reading the news from time to time so that you wouldn't be tempted to sell it early. Also, it is always the perfect time to buy bitcoin, as we know it has a future. I recommend reading some expert news and analysis, joining forums and visiting Wall Observer prices of bitcoin to see what others think about the current price of bitcoin.
2917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 12, 2022, 11:54:33 AM
~snip~
~snip~ Bitcoin made it big not because of the true identity of the satoshi, but because of the technology. Let this be an unsolved mystery, ~snip~

Yes, although his identity is also one of the reasons why Bitcoin has become popular, at least for some people. While Satoshi may be teaching us about how importance of hiding the identity in open transactions. Even without knowing who Satoshi was, Bitcoin has made a big change in the world's financial system.
I think it's also for safety purposes since, given the price of bitcoin now, we can consider that it is big and can attract scammers and bad people. Bitcoin really is an innovation that has driven us to the digital world or digital currency. Right now, Bitcoin plays a big role, and we are hoping that in the future we will only use digital currency, whether it is Bitcoin or not. Satoshi's identity should be unknown for safety purposes; let's just thank him for this wonderful creation.
2918  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 12, 2022, 10:57:56 AM
It becomes very difficult when we experience economic recession, basic necessities, namely food increases significantly and we are very difficult to earn income so that many people become poor, this is what makes it very difficult to survive with minimal standard of living.
I don't feel that way now, so I can still live normally and not feel difficult and feel already poor because I am always grateful for what I have got so far through the work I do every day. And for other people I also don't know if they feel the same way as me or they find it difficult as you say. But what I see here in my surroundings is that there is no increase in the price of staple foods and no one is experiencing difficulties for any reason at this time.
I feel very uncomfortable now, my income is reduced, my life is getting more and more stressful, it is hard to be happy, the coins in my wallet are also falling, I have closed my physical store, and I don't know when the economy will get better.

I am hoping for your very best in your store and also in life. I know this recession is very huge and has affected us all. I don't know when this will end, but I will keep fighting. I know it is easy for me to say this, but trust me: try everything and keep fighting since you'll win in the end. We as consumers are also struggling, but we keep fighting because if we don't, we will end up losing and eventually lose the battle.
2919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be running in your mind if Bitcoin reaches $1000 again on: November 12, 2022, 09:49:31 AM
If Bitcoin reaches $1000 I will buy as much as I can, it will be a good opportunity for me to profit. As time bitcoin becomes more popular and more people will accept it, one day the price will rise again and have a better value in the future.

First of all, I would say that it would be a long way to go to get Bitcoin to $1000, and I still believe in Bitcoin at that time. newbies at that time is that they are already bashing Bitcoin at that time. For those who really have experience with bitcoin, if they have solid evidence that bitcoin is not dying, I am pretty sure that they will buy bitcoin no matter what. They will spend their money to buy bitcoin.
2920  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time management on: November 12, 2022, 08:44:45 AM
I agree that it's a great skill.

And those that can manage their time properly, they're the most productive people because they know what to prioritize and what to do best for their time.

It's not everybody that can do this because they really can't when they've got free time or after they've come from their offices and day jobs. Those that can still do a lot and manages to do multiple task, they're impressive people and likely the ones to succeed in their lives because of it.

This is really what I lack since I can't really manage my time. I really want to sleep, but at the same time, I want to find an additional job to earn more money, but I think it is impossible. I am working full time today, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. UK time, so I still have time to work in the evening, but the problem is that I can't because my job is really stressful. I think my problem right now is my mind. I am hopeful that I can overcome it in the future.
