2921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Markets eye India, as a good option for Crypto Mining on: January 13, 2018, 05:00:20 PM
I'm from India as well, but I can't confirm I heard this anywhere. Can you please reveal the source?
Btw, while there's still a lot of confusion over the acceptance of Bitcoins by Indian government, i.e.; whether they will be legalizing and regulating it or not is the major question here. In their point of view, mining takes a lot of electricity and Bitcoin's nature being liquid, doesn't really guarantee any specified earnings over the input being put into it, whether it be the purchase of miners or electricity consumption.
2922  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the reason why BTC rise or decline? on: January 12, 2018, 03:27:22 PM
The reason for rise includes:
- Sudden spike in the number of investors who came in watching others investing in it due to the surge that was taking place slowly already.
- Media boost that helped Bitcoin go mainstream.
- From $1k to $20k, it surged to more than 2000%.

Now, let's talk about decline:
- Think of it as a correction because there can't remain positivity all the time, and so does negativity.
- Don't take it as a drop after the price spike, take it as a dip from the ATH, it didn't even go down 50% after rising 2000%.

There are really time for pump and dumps, and thus we see bitcoin value arises and fall , we just know that we should have stick on what we really want for that coin, whether to hold it first. i believe bitcoin will still arise no matter what, it may just take time.

What you are witnessing currently can't be compared to what you saw in early 2014 when it crashed from $1100 to $250 in no time after the pump was injected.
Things have now changed a lot because we didn't see it breaking back hard (in other words, crash) suddenly but there were reasons this time for its rise as well as fall too. It'll rise but we need to stay focused on the problems that are rising too with its adoption, else do you think it will really keep up with the demands of the market?
2923  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: A Bitcoin desktop wallet without downloading the entire blockchain? on: January 12, 2018, 02:32:03 PM
I made a lot of wallets, online purses for me are reliable, among a lot of wallets I chose https://apibtc.com/. He has no equal among analogues. Very easy to use, anonymous and secure. The support service is open 24/7

Are you sure that leaving your coins in an online wallet without holding your private key a better idea?
I don't even use Blockchain's online wallet nowadays as they don't allow multiple addresses to be sent at once (when you send to more than one recipient), as well, for privacy reasons, they change the address with new and the "change" remains in the old one (which can be used again in future but you don't hold your private key). I think Electrum needs to be used with care (if anyone's suggesting OP with electrum, please ask them to download the upgraded version 3.0.5 to forgo the bugs).
2924  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in pharmacy on: January 12, 2018, 11:35:47 AM
Try to find a developer who can help you merge pharmaceutical business in blockchain.
My idea would be to come up with my own tokens and reward each and every individual with some rebates over their spendings they would do with my tokens whether online (through pharmaceutical sites) or offline (hospitals and/or clinics). For that, you need to collaborate with a lot of people and make them understand the whole concept you have in your mind, then ask them whether they would be ready to support your project by accepting your tokens at their place? This will surely get you a lot of exposure. Don't forget to implement proper buyback schemes to keep your customers remain with you forever.
2925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we really need Bitcoin? on: January 11, 2018, 06:48:59 PM
I personally don't know why people think of Bitcoin as a currency as Satoshi never clarified it if they want it to be used like that, what they told us they want Bitcoins to be used as a digital token, a mode of payment that could help others transfer values much quicker than how we have been doing earlier. We need Bitcoins currently because it could be used as an investment asset as well as a major denomination for altcoins to evaluate them.
2926  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the reason why BTC rise or decline? on: January 06, 2018, 06:34:23 PM

2927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why not new signature campaign ?? on: January 06, 2018, 06:12:04 PM
Nowdays why any of signature campaigns not come on the forum?

- High value of Bitcoins made it less affordable for companies as they need to pay high fee each time they pay (I believe there will be some campaigns with better pay structure and 2 weeks period for payments to save on fee)
- Companies choose ICOs over Bitcoins as they gather investments from users and pay through it, kinda give and take.
- I think we will soon be seeing some ETH or XRP signature campaigns instead of Bitcoins, because not only do these two have less fee, but the confirmations are really faster compared to Bitcoins atm.
2928  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign tutorials for beginer on: January 06, 2018, 04:35:13 PM
Help ? How ? Why are you suppose to help anyone who is going to turn forum into trash ? Aren't enough of them already ?

How can you and me decide whether they are spamming? It's moderators' job and they're doing it well. Trashing? The guy asked to teach them regarding signature campaigns, did they literally ask that they want to join one? NO.

Quote
If the question was regarding anything related to bitcoins or how cryptos work,I will definitely post my opinions with or without the signature.Sorry but I'm not too keen on helping people with that mind-set.

I know you're a good person and can understand that everyone's thinking is different on each case.

Quote
I agree we're getting paid for it but don't you think we actually put efforts into whatever we type ? Like I said signature payments are just an advantage or sort of tips for your efforts to "help" others in a way.If you're posting just for the signature, you shouldn't post anyway. My point is,I hate it when newbies happen to the forum with only one intention in mind : Make money from signature campaigns.

Yes we do, but can you seriously justify whether the OP's only intention was to join signature campaigns and post for it only? They're at Member level, they can easily get a chance in any bounty campaign if their intention is just to spam the shit over forum. Taking my intention into consideration, I told it as an example, as well, you can also check my posts to see whether I post for money or to help out everyone here, and talking what's truth. Not taking anyone's side, but truth's side.
2929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign tutorials for beginer on: January 06, 2018, 01:45:17 PM
I can't teach very well but I'll tell you what things that u need to know. First, don't post a single sentence and miss from the topic (min. 3 sentences). Second, you need to know or learn the topic before you post a reply to a discussion. Third, Find a signature that fits your time and limits. Fourth, don't spam because it will cause you get a ban.
Wow that is what everything wrong with the signature campaigns and bubble headed idiots like you.Who said making a sentence 3 lines minimum makes you a better poster ? You can also not know about the topic and yet post your questions if you're curious enough.
Remember : Forum is for learning, sharing knowledge. It's people like you who make this place full of shit.

Going rude is not an option, helping and sharing is.
My question to you: Did you actually share or make them learn something?
My answer for you: Yes. You actually shared "hatred" and made them learn how to behave with everyone over here.
According to you, it's people like "us" who can make this a piece of shit or a place where they may really know anything about Bitcoins.
When you admitted OP may be a spammer's account, don't you think the forum itself is filled with so many "spam" threads where same questions have been asked 100s of times? This is what I said earlier already, so for them (a newbie or an actual learner) to learn becomes more and more fragile. If their intention was to spam, wouldn't they just join an ICO's bounty campaign and do it? Why are they doing it for free while you and me, we both are getting paid for all our posts?

Bottom Line: If you are unable to do good for others, at least never do bad to them (a saying).
2930  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin Experience More Price Volatility in 2018? on: January 05, 2018, 06:41:30 PM
Different people are speculating in different ways, but I think that if we want a healthy future for Bitcoins,it should remain stable at some point for some time, maybe 6 months and grow with stability. Because going higher too quick will only make others call it a bubble and we don't want such a great technology to get criticized for that part. I think it'll remain conscious between $15-25k and stabilize near last year's ATH - 20k.
2931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Lucky moments during gambling? on: January 05, 2018, 04:17:27 PM
I've had encountered many situations where my luck favored me very badly. I always used to gamble on soccer matches with odds more than 5 - 8 per bet and my bets were used to be BTC0.01 per match. I mostly go for over/under bets and last minute bets have always made me awesome gains. Like I remember, a match was there between Liverpool and Chelsea, both were 2 - 2 and I made a bet at 87th minute over Liverpool to win the match with odds of 8.5, I don't know how but they managed to make a goal in 92nd minute, 1 minute before the game ended. This made me win 0.085 in one shot. I still remember those days as I've now stopped doing it.  Smiley
2932  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign tutorials for beginer on: January 05, 2018, 04:06:12 PM
Come on now his/she just want to learn dont be so harsh man. His/Shes just asking what is a signature campaign.
Did you come out of your mother's womb with complete knowledge of crypto? Are you Satoshi? Stop being such a ridiculous person and try to be helpful, that's what we all are here for.
Sorry if I was too rude, but....... (Snip) asking on Bitcointalk.

Seriously, I've no hard feelings. Though, it's not about spoon-feeding but as they are relatively new, we should keep our behavior very calm to them. You must be remembering of the old days when you joined the forum? Same was my case and everyone here. They've the right to ask, so we may guide them whether through replying to them or asking them to check themselves. But, BEHAVE.

Please teach me about signature campaigns. From the start
Use the search function dude, don't be suprise those rude messages above coz those are true. You might be the 500,000ish who asked this question out of 1,177,468 members of bitcointalk. No one will teach and no one will spoonfeed you here so do it by yourself. Go close or lock this thread already.

You're one of the best people on the forum that I personally admire. But, I want to interrupt here by saying that sometimes, forum's search function goes nuts which is why I believe that what OP asked can be considered reasonable. And one more thing, stickies aren't the updated versions completely (not saying they're worthless, but uneasy for them to get everything under one roof) and there are many threads with same queries answered more than 100s of times, but it's not easy for a newbie to find which one to follow.
2933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: January 05, 2018, 03:56:02 PM
There's no strategy that could work for long time as once it's caught (gets observed already by the house once you start using it, that's where the foul play takes place and they start adjusting the numbers for future bets that makes us lose). As well, most sites are rigged probably so the probability of winning with our mathematics will always remain comparatively low to house's win. Best is when we see winning, we should stop at some point and get back another day as you can't eat everything at a go.
2934  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: January 05, 2018, 02:41:52 PM
i had transfer 14600 trx never received to my wallet! I read also other rewiew about these scam website

There are issues going on with TRX deposits as they claimed that they're facing problems crediting end user accounts who sent TRX through direct contracts. Now, to what I feel, they should be given the required time they're asking for - 24 hours. They literally wrote it over the exchange that they're experiencing issues with ETH and ETH token deposits and they will have everything resolved in 24 hours. I was even worried about my withdrawal as I thought that just like others, I'm scammed too. But they've sent it. The only problem here is, they send a big batch of payments with a small fee which is somewhat shady. The worst part - they never answer anything over chat. And take more than 24 - 48 hours to reply through email support too. They are not scam ATM, but likely to be in future if this will continue to be their constant behavior.
2935  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get the green trust? on: January 05, 2018, 02:03:34 PM
Some members of the forum got green trusts and some got red trusts,so how can I get those green trust?

Please correct me if I posted in the wrong place. Smiley

In simple words, there's something we call as "reputation" here. Build it up, try to be very punctual in your service whether it's a trade or if you manage something like an escrow, campaign manager, etc. One important thing to be remembered, never ask anybody to give you "trust", let them do it at their own concern if they like your work. Just keep up the good work, and green trust will eventually occur in your profile. Though, normal trust ratings and trust from DT members differ a lot, you must be knowing the difference already, do you?
2936  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign tutorials for beginer on: January 05, 2018, 01:10:00 PM
Please teach me about signature campaigns. From the start

There are a few things you should know before trying to get enrolled in a campaign:
- Always try to be constructive and where you can answer in a sentence which seems enough and meaningful, no need to make a whole paragraph for the same.
- Follow the rules over the forum to remain a good user.
- Try to improve your English skills as that's the only language signature camp managers mostly focus upon (exceptions could be made if they allow local posts).

Do you really think that you should participate in signature campaigns? I'm looked at history of your posts and I only see one-liner shitposts. Who can pay you for such posts? I'm wouldn't be surprised if mods will ban you from forum for making low quality posts.
If you really want to earn from signature campaigns, you must learn about cryptocurrencies to get at least minimal knowledge and then post something constructive. You can read this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1684035.0 where you will find some basic signature campaign guidelines. But to gain knowledge about cryptocurrencies, you have to do your own research.

Did you come out of your mother's womb with complete knowledge of crypto? Are you Satoshi? Stop being such a ridiculous person and try to be helpful, that's what we all are here for.
2937  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Caution! Keep away from HitBTC on: January 05, 2018, 12:24:40 PM
Just for my own concern, want to know whether anyone here has still tried to withdraw anything over hitbtc and received it yet? I've asked for a withdrawal yesterday and it's more than 24 hours and no updates as of yet. Should this be a matter of worry? I see them being active 24/7 "ban-hammering anyone, they feel, shouldn't post anything."

EDIT: Guys, I can finally see the funds sent from their wallet, but the fee was less due to which it's unconfirmed for hours.
2938  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Caution! Keep away from HitBTC on: January 04, 2018, 06:19:37 PM
I am more than 5 days without receiving my TRX confirmed in block. When transferring to my HitBTC portfolio they are gone.

Ticket 114467 still without any return.

It's not just limited to you, but there are many users who are complaining, few regarding deposits, many regarding withdrawals. TRX looks to have gained a lot there due to the limited number of coins being sold at each level and for that, they might have gone "maintenance mode" just like bittrex, but by being quiet on what's going on there, they're proving themselves to be guilty. Mods ban people without thinking, based on their convenience so as to stop others "spamming the chat by complaining there" (according to them).
2939  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Caution! Keep away from HitBTC on: January 04, 2018, 01:07:34 PM
There are a few shady things that I encountered on their exchange while trying to trade there:
- Deposits of tokens that Rose in value already or are still rising, fresh example of which is TRX (Tron) take longer time to show or for few, they don't even show up (possible manipulation of the market through their exchange to keep the flow go on by showing others how they could make more on hitbtc than any other exchange, and then, scam the users by running away - a possiblity).
- Some tokens can only be bought or sold with a fixed number, i.e.; you need to, and can buy exactly 1000 coins (in multiples of 1000) for selected tokens and some coins are traded in limited decimals.
2940  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin scale in 5-10years? on: January 03, 2018, 09:03:47 PM
Still, what about my proposal of a MEGABLOCK to remove all this size stuff? A MEGABLOCK should be determined based on the size of total transactions remaining uncomfirmed in mempool, so that everyone will remain assured that at some point of time during a day, they will get at least one confirmation?
I think it's worse than just bigger blocks. As far as I understand, the work required to validate a block increases exponentially with the size of the block. If I am correct on this, it would take a long time to validate that one block. Adding transactions with the lowest fees will not benefit the miner who mines that block, so he still has reason to ignore them.

Can't there be anything implemented to only gather data that's needed to keep the records, and the remaining data be removed "just like segwit transactions" in order to have even that MEGABLOCK not that mega in size or that any code adjustments be made to get such MEGABLOCKS validated without much ado and waiting period be cut down less for them?

Guess you are not seeing the big picture there. There remain many transactions, a lot. And even with less fees, the number is so big that the accumulated fees on total number will also be very high. Why would they choose not to take such transactions in a MEGABLOCK when they are already being rewarded for their work with newly generated coins? Doesn't this count as greed?
