Inventor of X11 = Quark is the first with chaining 6 algo, they just didn't call it X6....then X11 and X13 and X(for all i care) - nothing great about this
Holy shit, you made a good point. Was that by accident? accidents do happen mr. miner developer can i ask you something? when X11 algo became GPU mineable it was cool on GPU's (lower heat, lower electricity cost)...but then i think you contributed on optimizing sgminer that increases hash on X11... with deep knowledge in coding..do you think someone or somebody could have had an optimized miner during those times when GPUs are cooler on X11? Of course. I did - it only leaked, which caused me to release it so the asshole who stole it couldn't sell it... I mean prior to you optimizing mining on X11, way back. I remembered I've read a thread or two regarding your miner on X11 you did optimized it. anyway you are a public miner developer, people can follow you on bitcointalk....do you think there are other private miner developers out there who do mining development and keep it to themselves? You don't seem to get it. I often to private mining development and keep it quiet... I got it now..you know what you do, but you don't know if there are other miner developer/s out there who keep it quiet.. thanks. I know several others. I don't know if any of them did X11 before me, though. that's a great insight

Thanks for the info! I'm mining right now around 13 Mh/s. It's severely non-profitable. Which has me wondering why? Even more so, why are so many people hashing away and perfectly fine with losing money? Faith?
That depends on your power price and hardware. lol youd be better off mining a coin with a lower diff with that hashrate.... Lower diff usually means lower price. Not that there aren't more profitable X11 coins to mine than DASH, currently. IMO, it's stupid to mine DASH in this case, even if you want DASH - instead, mine something else, sell it, buy DASH, and you end up with more DASH than you would have had, had you mined it directly. Wolf0 is right mine other coin.......no more coins, better buy..it is all about buying the coins produced by the POS masternodes. POW is still there to make dash look more legit. try ethereum it is more profitable, the coins move so fast dash's instantx is not that great anymore yeah it could be the next big thing.. it could be...crypto in general is not 100% sure...even bitcoin and sure as hell on dash InstantX = phased out DGW = Kimoto's Gravity Well with evan's tweak nothing more nothing less just like dash as a bitcoin fork Inventor of X11 = Quark is the first with chaining 6 algo, they just didn't call it X6....then X11 and X13 and X(for all i care) - nothing great about thisAnonymous/Darksend = bitcoin is already anonymous if you know how to use it with mixing. Darkcoin/dash is a very good collection of edited and tweaked bitcoin and altcoin (bitcoin forked) technology. my say in all this.... i'd rather invest in non bitcoin fork/clone that phases out coins (such as dash) in features and technologies.

I'm here but I can't figure out what happened to all my OEC? I downloaded the new wallet client or whatever was posted and now when I sync my wallet it's not there no more none of my coins? your coins are owned by your wallet address...is it really synced?. i still have my coins, i think it is not sync up to the time when coins started to enter your address.

who the hell mines this coin right now? unless your electricity/resources is free, and wasting time/effort/energy/money is your game. i tried to mine this coin in summer 2014 but I'm already late. you should've mine in the first few hours (1.8 M emitted) and before the total supply was reduced from 84M to 18.9M, the emission was greatly reduced too....I'm a miner and I know WOW!!!! All this FPGA discussion is way above my head! I remember mining dash with several desktop computers and a few laptops using CPU...before there was a graphics miner available. then I went out in a limb and rent 24 VPN from Microsoft to mine with too. Actually did ok for about a week....then everyone jumped on board and the difficulty went through the roof! I toasted 3 dells on that...got them all warrantied though lol . Haven't done any mining since....is CPU even doable? the greedy lying bastards got it all my friends.. that's the other purpose of masternodes to POS the coin.....so long suckers Does Dash ever have the plans to add proof of stake?
Masternode is POS... Which stands for Proof of ServiceProof of SCAM

The initial first-mover advantage will last for a period of time, only to be replaced by the "Fast Follower". Ford Motor Company was the first mass produced manufacturer of cars. Within a short time, General Motors was outselling them by offering something Ford would not. By following a stragtegy of innovation, combined with focusing on getting the word out, DASH has an excellent chance of succeeding in the Digital Cash realm.
weak analogy.. Ford and General motors have so many patents on their part...Bitcoin and darkcoin are opensource software ....and how many bitcoin codes had been copied by dash?----->A HECK FUCKIN LOT

nobodies..
nobodies..
hypocrites. for the record, you people are trying to convince "the nobodies" in investing in this instamined snake oil coin. why don't you hug each other? <<<HUGSS>> >

you guys have that now? that's slick.. "The max coins were set to 84 million, but the coin had generated 2.5 million coins. Dash would have been over it’s limit in a 1.5 months and collapsed"that's all you have to say? that is so lame of an excuse evan: " If you don’t like that it was an instamine, that’s fine, go invest in something else." https://youtu.be/x5sNx7SMTP8?t=146evan (rubs nose): "the investors in the coin don't care" ..blah..blah...(rubs nose again and word mincer come to save the speechless evan) word mincer: "go ahead criticize us, that makes us stronger " yeah stronger at twisting facts and words...when you found out the instamine and distribution is in indefensible state you just twist it to become a "positive event" i dare you guys to put instamine to the thread title..cmon!

So masternodes will still be used for mixing? This is a disappointment, I must admit I don't remember this. I'm just working it out with what we're given. Still, I'd think this would be an excellent solution. No need to wait for blocks, how ever many MNs you have, is essentially the number of rounds. Seems logical to me. Maybe there is another way? I sure hope it won't be something that obscures the blockchain like Monero. I don't like something I can't check on. evan got grilled there..ha ha ha........ evan: any other questions? tsa huh huh.

...meanwhile, Dash turns out to be one of the few coins where a price decline actually helps the network.
MN population now coming up on 3400.
price high: sells coins price low: sells coins (free coins from POS nodes) or accumulate from POS...not POW nobody wants to (POW) work anymore when price is low that's why staking (POS) is the way
