A few weeks ago, I had asked for a Dashcoin listing. Poloniex listing is great. C-cex could be fun.  You don't understand... They will not add cryptonote coins. The only other real option is bittrex. Hitbtc and bter are the other two with cryptonotes, and that's all. what hinders them from adding cryptonotes? |

v1.0.3 cannot open wallet that is created by v1.0.2
the only solution i know of is sending your coins from the old wallet (created with v1.0.2) to your new wallet (created with v1.0.3).
Will everyone lose their coins if they haven't swapped them to a new wallet by July 15? i have no idea, i hope not..there are people who might not be able meet the deadline. |

any ideas when Dashcoin block reward halves?
Hi, For those who are not familiar with it Dashcoin has a smoothly decreasing emission. Having said that, the rewards around the end of March were half the amount of first ones.  Also, did you get that issue with the locked balance worked out? didn't know chainradar have those charts. thanks. the locked amount is still there, mining is still good.. reset command cannot reset the wallet (1.0.3) |

There's the other side, the tech side:
1) Even though I like Dashcoin as an experiment, I highly doubt it to be a valid long-term investment. Something that is cloned cannot lead the market. Let's say, there's no more Bytecoin, which would make Dashcoin hault and degrade.
lets say people didn't buy because of the premine and if there is no more Bytecoin. Bytecoin devs can move to dashcoin, buy the cheap coins and take over the project. no premine issue or whatever, problem solved |

In trying to resolve a situation, you have to consider all available options. My personal choice, if I had been a member of the Dashcoin Community, would have been Option 2: Stop Darkcoin with their trademark application, and stop them from using the word 'Dash'. If anyone is to involve themselves in a battle it is advisable to test the resolve of the troops. My private messages to you all emphasised that as a community you should decide what you wanted. I also indicated that you should communicate privately by IRC, or whatever was best for you. That has been ignored and individuals have spouted their opinions publicly.
i like this idea, like MarleysGhost my personal choice is stop them..if darkcoin can really force exchanges to delist dashcoin if they got the trademark then we should stop them from getting the trademark. can dashcoin community really do this? what would it take to accomplish this? |

i transferred coins from my mining wallet to my wallet about 2 days ago, there are still coins in "locked amount" and i think there is some coins that didn't transfer.
is there a new way to reset the wallet (latest version)? when i use reset command it only shows "Reset is complete successfully" immediately, unlike from the old wallet that shows all transactions and takes time.
Do you have the old keys file? Try reimporting then into version 1.0.3. my mining wallet is version 1.0.3 and it does not have keys file. |

- dashcoin is a good name, years from now nobody would think of renaming this coin for the fear of general public acceptance of the name.
- dashcoin is a clone, a mirror image of the first cryptonote coin, bytecoin and without the 82% premine. until now BCN is still being developed and so is dashcoin.
- dashcoin is decentralize, I believe many people own this coin even though they don't post in this thread and maybe some of them mined/bought last year and hadn't updated yet on DSH.
- there are people who believe that dashcoin will have a future and that includes me.
- i believe in crypto currency and decentralization, if this coin is going to be gone because DSH can be bought out of existence and lawyered out existence I would say this will be the end of my belief.
with the points i stated above...how will darkcoin fit here?

The problem is that is not true, Dash historical relationship with DSH brought more attention to DSH and a higher market cap than it had before, that is a fact. The thing is you, as a leader of DSH should push to improve the project if you want to, Dash has nothing to do with that, at some point the value needs to be more than just "lets hurt Dash". I would love to see DSH be successful, it just feels you are in the same place you were months ago just antagonizing with Dash. i'm no leader, where are the followers? i just like dashcoin, if misinformation about DSH spreads (specially here at DRK/DASH thread) i'm just here to debunk it.. The problem is that is not true, Dash historical relationship with DSH brought more attention to DSH and a higher market cap than it had before, that is a fact. blowback: the unintended adverse results of a political action or situation.@ qwizzie actually it is good emotions here, coz i'm having fun straightening the truths getting twisted by smart ass people here. |
