I'm not sure whether the proxy even retrieved the full image(s) in the first place. |

After upgrading to 0.9.0, the first time I call getbalance takes a couple of minutes: $ time bitcoin-cli getbalance

During that time I can see that one CPU core is at 100% usage. Subsequent calls are quick as always. This isn't a big issue for me but maybe there's something wierd in my wallet and the daemon isn't coping well with it, which could mean some kind of bug may be lurking around. Is some developer interested in debugging this? How can I give more information? |

exacto, esa es la manera de hacer grandes sumas de dinero, comprar en baja y vender en alto, son pocas oportunidades al año...y hay que tener el dinero en el exchange para hacer eso...
Si son pocas oportunidades "al año" es que estás operando a medio plazo. ¿Qué te cuesta tener todo el dinero bajo tu control y esperar unos pocos minutos o días para poder operar? (en el caso de tener que enviar coins o fiat, respectivamente). Solo tiene que tener la pasta en el exchange quien opera a diario. |

Sip, por un lado cuantas más monedas tengas más probabilidad de encontrar bloques tienes, y por otro cada vez que descubres un bloque se paga como recompensa un tanto por ciento del montante que tengas.
Y eso, ¿no es injusto para quien no tenga monedas? |

Coin-Days=Montante*DíasEnMonedero
Cuanto más Coin-Age tengas más probabilidad tendrás de encontrar un bloque

Main problem from config.log is: /usr/include/boost/thread/xtime.hpp:23:5: error: expected identifier before numeric constant
That line is probably: This causes a symbol collision in some environments with a libc++ macro. Later boost versions changed this to TIME_UTC_. Thank you. Temporarily editing xtime.hpp as suggested in your first link did the trick for me. |

Esto ya no aplica, el límite de generación de polvo ahora es el 54.3% de la comisión mínima, que hasta la 0.9.0 era 5430 satoshis pero supongo que ahora desde la 0.9.0 será 543, aunque no he visto a nadie mencionar esto ni me apetece hacer la prueba por mi parte. |

Ojo que este cambio de comisiones no tiene por qué aportar mucho. Poco a poco los mineros están haciéndose oír en este aspecto y esta rebaja en Bitcoin Core no tiene por qué implicar que las transacciones con 0.01 mBTC se vayan a incluir rápidamente en un bloque.
No entiendo lo que quieres decir. Pues que los mineros ya no trabajan gratis. Al principio sí porque todo hijo de vecino ya tenía su CPU y el mining suponía un desembolso inicial de cero pesetas y una factura de la luz bastante aceptable. Pero tras la llegada de las GPU y sobre todo de los ASIC, el mining supone un gasto inicial significativo que hay que recuperar. Esto unido al incremento en el número de transacciones que hemos ido viendo con el paso de los años, significa que los mineros ya no simplemente aceptan la comisión mínima que el software de referencia incluye por defecto. Hoy por hoy una transacción de alta prioridad que hace un año era inmediata está tardando 12 horas o más, en mi experiencia. Que el software de referencia baje la comisión de 0.1 a 0.01 "milis" no significa mucho realmente. |

En mi opinión meter mano en este asunto de las traducciones no haría más que abrir una lata de gusanos enorme. ¿Dónde se pinta la línea? ¿Decir "hachís" está mal? ¿Y "piscinas"? ¿Y "lata de gusanos"? (que es un anglicismo mal traducido, para quien no lo sepa  ). Pienso que la cantidad de trabajo/dinero/recursos que uno le ha dedicado a las traducciones es comparable a la que le ha dedicado a la moneda propiamente dicha, así que estos posts paupérrimos nos podrían servir como indicación de qué altcoins evitar . |
