I had the same issue with my S17+, these gears are terrible compared to the S17 pro, they are less terrible than T17/T17e but still, the failure rate on my S17+ is 50% easily, and most of the heatsink fell along with the chips unlike the T17s, I also noticed this on the S17, I wish I had the skills, time and tools to fix these chips like you and the other folks, I had some success with the S9s chips but my overall performance was very poor, I had someone else fix them for me after that, and that person is no longer available, so all I can do is watch those gears sit there do nothing.

Please use the code function when posting the kernel log, the miner looks dead according to the logs but the kernel log isn't always accurate, if you provide a bit of history about the miner that would help identify the issue, was it running before or you received it dead? I would also test a different firmware, but don't upgrade to the latest Bitmain firmware because it will lock your miner, try Asic.to or AwesomeMiner just to confirm this isn't a firmware issue.

One more thing to keep in mind that it's very usual for a bad PSU to cause all 3 hash boards to show 0 Asics, so make sure you check the PSU as well.

Error 35 according to Inno's support manual suggests that there no power output, while error 32 is a sign of overheating, you need to check the fans and also check the miner for dust or anything that could be blocking the air-way.

No, you can't and you shouldn't be doing that, just increase the fan speed to 100%, if that doesn't solve any heat issues, you have to move more air, add some exhaust fans, meanwhile maybe shut-down half of them so that the other half doesn't get way too hot.

هدا الامر ممكن ايضا حتى في الوضع الحالي, فيوجد رقاقة قاريء ال USB وهي لاتختلف كثيرا قاري ال Sim, فقط لانك تضع شريحة الاتصال داخل المحفظة لايعني انه يوجد اي نوع من الاتصال المباشر بين الرقاقة التي تحتويل المحفظة والرقاقة التي تتصل على الشريحة, يعني نوع الاتصال بينهم سيكون مثل نوع الاتصال الحالي مع ال USB, اما بخصوص تغير عنوان المرسل اليه بالعكس, الطريقة التي تعتمدها الهارود ولت الان هي اخد العنوان من الحاسوب بعد ان نسخه ولصقه وتم ارساله للمحفظة, فيمكن ان يتم تغير العنوان في حال كان جهازك مخترق, ولكن في نهاية المطاف سوف يظهر العنوان على شاشة الهاردوير والت ويجب ان تقوم بالموافقة عليه بالظغط على احد ازرار المحفظة, فقصة تغير العنوان من اساسها ممكنة الان ولكن تجنبها سهل جدا.

His hashrate is perfectly reported, there are a few versions of the T17e, judging by the fact that his shows about an average of 18.7th per board it means he has the 53th version and he got a lucky miner because 53th is the highest and that would average slightly below 18th per board.

If you happen to be using Chrome there is a chance that you can still retrieve the password and username for the miner, but this will require a logged-in device with the same account other than the one you reset, also it should have not been connected to the internet after you reset the browser (the deletion wasn't synchronized), if you have that, let me know and I'll tell you how to do it (it's a bit of an effort but would be worth it).

The liquid has to be insulator (doesn't conduct electricity) and so if you can sink the miner in it, there is no reason why you can't include the PSU, the only problem I can think of is that PSU might not work if the fan isn't spinning, so I don't know how they go about solving this issue, but I think since you are trying to cool the miner, there is no need to bring in the PSU's heat along, just put it outside the cooling box/container.

You are also going to face the same issue with the miner's fans, but most custom firmware allow you to run the miner without fans, if you chose to run the stock firmware you will need a fan simulator, it basically tricks the control board into thinking that there are two fans spinning at 5000-6000rpms and so the stock firmware will work just fine.

مخفظة Trezor Model T لديها هده الخاصية, فهده المحفظة بها مدخل ل Micro sdcard حيت تقوم بتوقيع التحويل على المحفظة ووضع التحويل في المايكرو كارد ومن ثم اخد المايكرو كارد الى حاسوبك لكي تقوم بنشره, المدخل موجود ولكن البرنامج لايدعم هده الخاصية بعد وهي قيد الانشاء.

هدا الشي يضيف بعض الامان ولكن الجزء الاكبر من الامان موجود مسبقا في الهاردوير والت وهوا ان توقيع التحويل يتم داخل رقاقة المحفظة ولا يغادرها, مما يعني انه حتى لو كان الحاسوب مخترق سيكون من شبه المستحيل سرقة اموالك التي في المحفظة.

اكبر خوف يكون في حال تم اختطافك من شخص ما واجبرك على تحويل اموالك له, وهده ايضا يمكن التلاعب بها عبر ان شاء اكثر من محفظة في نفس الوالت, وتقوم بفتح محفظة بها رصيد قليل ويكون الباقي مؤمن ومحمي, الخوف الاخر هوا ضياع الوالت وضياع الباك اب معها.

بالمجمل لاتزال هده المحافظ في حاجة لتطوير جدري, لان استخدامها صعب وبطيء وليس ملائم الا للتخزين على المدى البعيد, سيكون من الجيد اقتناء محفظة تكون بها كاميرة لتقراء QR code العنوان وكتابة القيمة بشاشة لمس موجودة على الهاردوير نفسه (موجودة في Trezor Model T ) وينتقل هدا التحويل عبر الانترنت باستخدام شريحة Sim واتصال 4G, بهده الطريقة يكون التحويل امن جدا وسهل نسبيا.

It's not complete either, while this kernel log seems strange ( it has a different structure) which could be the latest locked version which I am not familiar with, but this without a doubt isn't the full log, the kernel log can't stop at tunning or setting frequency/voltage.

On a side yet related note, this kernel log puts in so many "extra" details, which means he might need to split it or use an external website to post it, one more thing is that he should leave the miner on for at least 30 minutes before attempting to copy it.

مالذي تقصده بالتعدين باستخدام جهازك, هل لديك جهاز خاص بالتعدين مثل ASIC او كرت شاشة ملائم للتعدين؟ ان كانت الاجابة نعم فأرجو تحديد نوعه, اما ان كان جهاز للاستعمال المنزلي او المكتبي العادي  او حتى سيرفر لشركة او غيره فأنه لن يكون ملائم للتعدين ولن يجني الا بعض السنتنات في الشهر, سيكون الرقم صغير لدرجة انك لن تتمكن سحبه.

The worst "pool" to be troubleshooting a miner with is Nicehash, I suggest you switch to a proper pool at least until you figure out what is going on with the miner, use Viabtc as it's very stable for the most part, it might not be your taste but should at least give accurate results while you are troubleshooting.

If you can't post the complete kernel log, use an external website and just paste the link here, I forgot the website the folks here use, but it's something like "pasteit" or "pastein", just google it.

It looks like all chains on this miner are dead, but the kernel log isn't complete, please reboot the miner and leave it on for 30 mins before copying the kernel log, you also mentioned that you have other issues with some of your S9s, please put that in a different new topic.

And please don't upgrade to the latest firmware, it will lock your miner.

It looks like you are going to be right, after all, I think I underestimated the amount of hash power that has been sitting on the sidelines waiting to be fired, it just didn't make that sense that why not when bitcoin was 25k, why to wait for 30k, there is something missing in the equation here, I don't know if it was large quantities of mining gears in the middle of the ocean waiting to arrive at their destination and thus they couldn't come online at x price but wait till y price despite the fact that they could have come online when the price was at x! or was it something else? we don't know now, and probably never.

there is also another point which I seem to have missed, this section of the form was a bit quiet a month ago, look at it now, many newbies coming in asking what's wrong with their S9s and the other old gears, I see the same questions every hour on other platforms, it seems like many more people than I thought have not sold their old gears and they stored them in the basement waiting for prices to rebound. Since I think I follow rational thoughts (of which most turn out to be irrational: ) I assumed that the vast majority of gears were already sold, up and running, or simply dead, but no, Joe and his grandma kept their mining gears which they bought at the peak of 2017 despite my "rational recommendation".
