Rotten Tomatoes gave the new feminist doctor who a 100% score.
ive been a who fan since Patrick Troughtons Second Doctor. the show has had its ups and downs, good acting, bad acting. rubber suit monsters you could see the zippers. everything imaginable. buts its (well usually) always had good writing and characters, and good backstories for the characters and the locations. and a strong doctor to lead. till now. this last doctor.. shes the weakest character in the current series, never mind as compared to the past doctors in the past. the doctor is ALWAYS the smartest person in the room. the most take charge person. the person others look to for information and inspiration. this one. bleh. weak personality, others get to the solutions before she does. huh?? shes one with her "fam.." wtf?? the doctor is not about the companions, doctor who is about the doctor. bleh this new doctors hit a nerve as you might tell. ive not even finished some episodes on this series. its now a politically correct commercial for the SJW. pardon my puke. back to the old, REAL doctors for me, thankfully my HTPC has a bunch.

Whenever a merit source's source amount is adjusted upward or downward, it is immediately completely replenished. This'll be a factor.
my smerits were just increased. so the amount i just saw is the monthly smerit i have to send every month. does that also mean my replenishment schedule is also reset. like if i send all smerits in the next 5 days they are gone till 30 days of the last smerit sent, ie 25 days with none? it wont use the previous sent schedule of so many a day over the last 30 days? i sometimes tend to merit in spurts till they are gone (well if less than like 10-15 or so) so i have tried to more or less time them to get some every couple day or so. i hate being out for days at a time. do i need to time giving these new ones out for the next month as to not to be out of new ones for days?

Umm... yeah. Don't know what to think about this. I can't help but think that adding Bluetooth to a HW wallet is anything other than another potential gaping security hole. Though it looks like the buttons may be improved. i dont like it. trezor t has a sd card slot that might be venerable but you can simply not use it. i wonder if the ledger x has the option to turn bluetooth off and how "off" it would really be. i just cant help but thinking some fundamental flaw will be found in the bluetooth chip as i thought i had read about some bluetooth chips having vulnerabilities before.

I might be fucked up on cold medicine too but I'm pretty sure you're talking about the acorn accelerating GPUs via USB? My first task is to get it solo mining via USB since it won't need 4 pci lanes to take full advantage of it.
cold medicine ftw! possibly accelerating a gpu. depends on the acorn to gpu bandwidth i get on my machines. always nice to have options in case i want to offload some bandwidth to the other side of the pch. solo mining needs far less, i think one lane or just usb 3 (maybe 2) would do for solo, at least for the solo zp miner we currently have.

if you are going to be storing stuff like passwords, scans of important documents, things in any particular storage or encryption format in data files etc. i mean in addition to just paper/steel with seeds on them.
somewhere in your vault you should include as much information about the format and version numbers of all software/encryption you used on any files she needs to access. also a cd/dvd of archive quality plus a usb stick and and actual usb hard drive of all software you used. that way versions match and she can load the actual software version you are using. maybe an operating system image too or at least the iso of the OS installation media. who knows what software will still be around and how backward compatible it will be when she needs it. there may be quirks specific to the particular version of the some software used.
USB drives fade with age. hard drives not so much but are susceptible to magnetism/moisture. iow each has strengths weaknesses which is why i include both, as well as archive quality optical media.
this strategy applies to any scenario where you need to preserve electronic data. perhaps she has access to data files later than whats in the vault. she needs to have all software needed to access it.
Thanks for the feedback, I did purchase 3 USB key and wrote on them 1 / 2 / 3 Number one was supposed to have a plein text with a tutorial. Number two was a live USB of linux mint Number 3 was LUSK encrypted (password on a paper / and or at the lawyer / Will) all the needed software, the wallets I have been using and the data base. I think I will stay away from the USB key storage, I will also pass on the DVD, looks better for long term storage but not as easy to use and update. I think I will move toward a could base encrypted data base. See my message below the line. archive quality optical media can be a pain. but it has attributes that both hard drives and flash drives lack: no moving parts and no electrical charges that fade. and if using any flash based media that can fade: may i suggest several usb thumb drives for each category for redundancy, ie three copies each of the one, two and three drives you mention above. so in your use case 9 thumb drives in total. use several different brands. i prefer all three formats as the odds of at least one of the three types surviving is obviously better than just one format. also, i typically have three levels of backups. - daily: done to local NAS via script. NAS is RAID 1 or better
- weekly: done to local removable hard drive. manually initiated and the drive is otherwise unplugged to protect against virus and power surge/lightening strikes
- monthly: manually done to several separate rotated removable hard drives with at least one always being off site. otherwise they are unplugged for the above reason. protects against your house being totally destroyed.
i do the archive dvd whenever i get around to it but at least one initial copy is recommended. i just keep all the old ones, with several off site. - The master password will give access to my lastpass password manager. On last pass I will have all my passwords, my 2FA keys and some general text for her to read.
may i suggest not keeping passwords and 2fa codes in the same database. use separate databases with separate passwords. so if one is compromised it is more or less useless without the other, just in case one a database (a current local working copy) gets into the wild and is compromised. i have seen a thread here where access to one database with everything spelled doom to the owners crypto.

Thanks, I have both Firefly and Serenity on DVD. I just didn't recognize it from the picture, best show ever, could never understand why it was canceled. Must be over 12 years since I last watched those DVDs, gonna look for them and watch again tonight
there are two versions of Serenity.. the 4:3 and the widescreen. they are ( very) slightly different due to a few scenes in one aspect ratio not being in the other. something to do with the scene not looking correct in both formats.

Anyone still own ONDA D1800 mining motherboard? The heatsink on mine failed and almost stop working. Any idea where I can get parts or anyway to fix it? TIA
The tiny heatsink/fan combo on the integrated cpu you mean? Not sure if you can get any replacement for it from Onda but you could certainly diy something. It's pretty tiny. Not much heat coming out of that J1800 Celery... yeah 10 watts https://ark.intel.com/products/78866/Intel-Celeron-Processor-J1800-1M-Cache-up-to-2-58-GHz-aim any half way decent 60/80mm fan or such at it and your are probably good.

Remember stuffing DIMMs in a PCI (pre-PCIe) card for a faster boot?
Yes. Also AT bus cards. Though they were DIPs at the time. S-100 for the win!

I have just bought an adapter and I am going to try my own test, it could have just been the adapter he had, lets hope that is the case. I think he said he thought the issue was to do with the lanes it was using but I don't think that's how it works when interfacing via USB.
usb 3.1 controllers picks up pcie lanes iirc. i would definitely love to know of a known to work with acorns usb to m2 adapter. as i have the feeling my current two mining mobos may wind up with some acorns on the wrong side of the PCH as the 1080tis i want to pair them up with. of course the usb may be on the wrong side too but i think it depends on which usb ports i use on the mobo.. wont know till the Soon (tm) to be released gpu boost miner arrives.

voted no because of the same reasons others have mentioned:
if its merit worthy it will be merited and you can draw others attention to it if you truly think it was overlooked.
merit yourself because you think its an awesome post? riiiiight. here is the name of a psych doctor i think you should see.
only reason i can see to merit your alt is to get your alt higher up in the sig campaign food chain. thats not what merits are about.

Our rig is mining at a steady 175Mh/s hashrate on Claymore (that's the hashrate shown on the claymore miner). No GPU error, no internet connection issue, everything is super smooth. How is it possible that our current effective hashrate as shown on ethermine is ... over 200Mh/s ? More than 25Mh/s than our actual hashrate shown on Claymore. https://imgur.com/MHGqh2ilook at the 6 hour average hashrate.. 174.69 mhs. right in line with claymores estimate. you need the longer term average, the pool only estimates hashrate based on accepted shares. if your miner gets lucky in say a 10 minute period it will seem to the pool to be more powerful during that 10 minute period.

Can you build Acorns with thunderbolt interface ? Thunderbolt makes 40 GBit/s , now.
usb or thunderbolt acorns would be cool. dude on discord tried a usb to m2 adapter but it didnt work. not sure if it was under linux or windows or the exact model. he said a nvme ssd worked on it but not the acorns.

Try tracking a 50-channel DAW session at 24-bit/96kHz though top-flight conversion (e.g., Apogee), with all the plugins needed for a good mix, on your Androne, and let me know how it goes.
why would you bother doing that on a phone. i would think at that point you would have easy access to dedicated equipment.
