bitcoin is whatever you want it to be, all these arguments are for the regulations and stuff like that. but for the users it can be a currency it can be a property or it can even be a plaything!
don't forget that bitcoin is not controlled by anybody meaning it is decentralized so don't let all these terms of currency vs property fool you.

700 reached. Congratulations! It's took us longer than expected, but as told - we are finally here. Targets still the same 800- 1300 By the way, now target can be officially corrected to 900-1100 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1104545there is no timing for any of your predicted targets, there is no point in making a speculation without any timing on it. i can also say price will be something dollar some day and when it came true 10 years from now quote myself and say i told you so and if it didn't i just lock the topic and let it get lost in history.

Expect 2017 to be a very good year for Bitcoin’s price. That’s according to prominent Bitcoin investor Barry Silbert, who shared his ten predictions for the upcomming year. 1. Bitcoin price on 12/31/2017 will be “higher” 2. Micropayment models materialize 3. First >$50 mm M&A transaction 4. SEC comes down hard on ICOs 5. Identity solution competition heats up…but no leader emerges 6. Explosion of blockchain POCs focusing on supply chain 7. Exponential Bitcoin transaction growth in India, Japan & Middle East 8. Cross border payments/remittances using Bitcoin will hit $1 billion run rate 9. Bitcoin becomes more accessible to retail and institutional investors via ETF(s) 10. Bitcoin as a store-of-value reemerges as a key theme Read full list and explanationsit seems like whenever bitcoin is staring to rise and be more popular, everybody is also becoming a bitcoin expert and they start speculating about it. don't get me wrong it is good to see all these positive speculation about bitcoin in public and in this size but it is just funny how they are silent when price is still low and stable ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

you are talking about starting a new business first then it is about bitcoin. and a lot of people (me included) are not so willing to risk getting into a new business and risk starting a new one.
and although it can be good and profitable, a lot more than having a job behind a desk but it is not easy and needs a risk-accepting personality and also some capital which not everyone possess.

All indicators shows that it is time to leave the train.
SHORTS OPENED..
at least post from an alt account or go to your history and delete all the crap that you have been saying on the way up: some examples with dates all during the rise and before the rise: Price will drop. Soon. Hard.
Yes bitcoin will fall to 500$ before it will reach 700$.
As I said two weeks ago. South was right direction.
Bull trap. No volume.
No volume at current "cheap" price means that price must go down to get more buying volume.
Expect price below 500$.
in other words even if you are by a small chance of 1 in a trillion right, your word has 0 value since you have been wrong from the start.

this poll looks ridiculous with exchanges like bleutrade, BTER, Yunbim Allcoin which are mostly unknown places and on top of that yobit having a high percentage while being the worst exchange among all of them.
anyways i hope i could vote for two because i mainly use btc-e and bittrex for bitcoin and altcoin trading.

The price has gone down a tad so it really is a buyers market right now at these prices so I'll be topping up my account with an extra 100 ETH. I suggest you do the same.
i am curious to see OP now and see how he is feeling after losing nearly $390 the weekend he was advertising us to buy ETH the price was 0.0198 BTC and now it is 0.014 BTC and dropping fast which means a huge 0.55 BTC loss if anybody was hyped up enough to buy 100 ETH that day ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

He is probably counting his fat bucks while licking some hot chicks on his private yacht in Bahama's. He made his life time advertisement and time to enjoy the profits. We all didn't have an idea who the fck Craig Wright is but now most of us are aware of his existence. Why do you care anyway? Do you want to make him richer?
and how exactly did he become rich by claiming to be satoshi?! this was a totally shady stunt that he pulled and there are too many speculations about the reasons why he did it but the one that i liked was about him wanting to fool the IRS of Australia because he owed millions to them.

PayPal is one different thing in its own genre and it's their decision whether to accept Bitcoins or not, but they are losing on something for which they will regret in the future... And there is no reason for them not to accept it, it's just that their ego would get hurt if they do so, because there is nothing irreversible in Bitcoins... ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Bitcoin is a threat to their entire business. Other than that, PayPal has a bank license which in itself will make it nearly impossible for them to incorporate Bitcoin beside all the hassle and legal settlements that they have to go through. Things aren't as easy as some people here like to think. this is all true but it is only true right now. in the future i am sure that this will all change and the very existence of processors like paypal would eventually depend on adopting bitcoin and making it as an option inside their systems in order to not be left behind.

i don't really get why people are so afraid to start trading bitcoin or even altcoins sometimes. maybe they are comparing these markets with stocks market where you have to enter big otherwise they don't let you in. the best thing that i as a newbie trader have found out, is that you really need no money to start trading. there are even exchanges that let you start trading with 500 satoshi which is really ridiculous ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

there are a lot of problems with arbitrage trading and what you say here is only the tip of the iceberg. the prices are usually at the same levels and even when there is a change, the gap which was created only lasts a very small time so you would need to act super fast or you will miss out and also this gap has to be big enough so it can cover all the fees and be still profitable.

right now all the altcoins are going down and those which were in a bubble are going down even harder. especially a coin like ETH that was being traded directly with fiat and with a very huge volume. now all that fiat volume is being retracted from that market and flown to bitcoin/fiat market where they buy bitcoin with it. even trading them with alt/btc nobody is doing that anymore because price has been falling and demand is diminishing hence price falling. in other words OP posted his topic about a week too early ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Which is(are) the best performing ALt coin(s) to trade in?
right now none of them are preforming at all because bitcoin is rising and everyone is pulling out of altcoin market and investing their money in bitcoin because they want profit. but later some of these may bounce back and some may die and never come back up again.

This thread is very technical. Can someone dumbify it? So point us to a blockchain for dummies. Because, currently I have had transactions that we're stuck in the blockchain for two days already.
if you have a particular question you should open up a new topic about it. but if your problem is with not getting confirmed "yet" then i am sure you have not included enough transaction fees because the problem this talking was talking about is already solved. check bitcoinfees.21.co for more information.

If anyone offer you, So which thing you want choose like
1. BITCOINS 2. GOLD 3. DOLLAR (fiat currency)
If these things have same price than which thing you wanna choose? Actually I want to guess how many peoples like bitcoin. Because if i have a offer than definitely i will choose Bitcoin, because i like bitcoin more than gold, and bitcoin's price is more strong than dollar.
nobody ever offers you anything to choose from and you always have to make the choices on your own. in which case i would always choose all of them only replacing USD with my own local fiat currency to have the currency to spend and have 2 good investments at my disposal.

On Yobit permitted use scripts? Any automation is strictly prohibited. Such accounts will be blocked with all funds! i am not exactly an expert especially not in JavaScript but what OP has shared if first of all in an attempt to gain some referrals out of his site with the links he has placed and also it doesn't look like anything that they can ban it because it is not "automation", in fact it is more like a filtration of the table. you still have to click, fill in captcha and claim on your own.

it is almost funny to see all these topics about bitcoin price (high price) being active in this board in the past two days, especially this particular one which is also old.
i always say that topics with big price predictions which are unrealistic like 560K$ are the same as FUD topics with the very low price which is also unrealistic like $100 and the same way the other way is not happening this is also not happening and certainly not in 14 months (or 13 if you count from the OP)

Maybe the problem of OpenBazaar could be the fact that they offer legal but also ilegal products. So, they don't have cleary defined customers and some people are avoiding it for the reason that they might have problems with the law. They PR to atract the users could also be better.
this is happening anywhere that there is a Bazaar for selling stuff, specially when it is online and has a certain level of anonymity to it. you think all the trades on the internet even on the popular places are legit?!

Seems like netflix soon gonna start accepting bitcoin which will be really nice news for all of us actually to the users from countries where paypal like payment processors are restricted as well as don't have any working international visa/mastercard debit cards. Streaming of netflix should be expanded to meet users from all around the world and allowing bitcoin can be one way for netflix to achieve this worldwide coverage. Isn't this old news? and netflix haven't started accepting bitcoin yet. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Well yes they haven't, i am sure they still think about that. It took long time for steam to accept bitcoins so that's nothing strange that netflix takes some time to start accepting them thinking from many aspects, factor, and how good it is for the business, indeed time is needed before netflix fully implement bitcoin officially, there's nothing wrong if a huge company thinking about their movement, and yeah it's also happening to the steam Steam also took long time to accept bitcoin after the information got leaked to public. I think regulation is the reason why companies need time to provide bitcoin as payment solution since some countries have specific rules for bitcoin usage. the information you are talking about was not leak or anything like that. before steam telling the public they are accepting bitcoin they sent Email to their developers (literary anybody who has ever made anything for steam community shops) and told them we are going to accept bitcoin and one of those recipient of that email shared the email with public.
