2921  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon is a troll! on: June 05, 2021, 05:41:27 AM
Really??
You/we are giving him too much attention. Let's stop it - he will be no one.

He has 56 Million Followers. Even we hundreds of people stop giving attention to his tweets, what about those who are following him. They will react to his tweets and the market will follow the direction. The only way for him to be "no one" is when he tweets softens and people are used to it.
2922  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get respect even if you don't have money on: June 05, 2021, 05:01:32 AM
Have seen people who are not rich but are still respected by people. This set of people are just special because of the life style they exhibit. What gives this set of people respect is
cleanliness - they are always  neat, even if they always put on a particular cloth
reserve they don't roll with everyone around them
intergrety always stand for the truth
Bold do not feel intimidated, believe in theirself

You can add this also in the OP post.
Help Others Try to be more helpful for others

You can help others and in this way the other person will give you respect. Only Money only give you artificial respect. You can respect from heart if you are polite and helpful.
2923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: June 05, 2021, 04:34:56 AM
any lending and borrowing platform carries unforeseeable risks, which proves that  only make loans or loans under our own control. To increase the amount of money you hold, you should learn trade knowledge or invest in IEO or IDO projects, which is probably a safer option.

You can reduce this risk by lending on the decentralized platforms. Of course if you have extra crypto with you and it is lying ideal, you would want it to lend it and earn some passive income in the form of interest. There will be risk to but you need to take measures to minimize the risk as low as possible.
2924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 04, 2021, 05:31:21 AM
What will be the bets are based on though because that is crucial to my decision. If it's just a race on who can get to climb the fastest then probably there's no problem for me to bet on it but if there are some other mechanics like climbing with a style, probably I will pass.

First we need to look at how these climbing games are measured ? Do we have tournaments & games and those who climb quickly wins or there are other measurement tools. Since i don't follow these games, i wont be able to better guide on how the betting will take place in these games ?
2925  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I start betting on sports? on: June 04, 2021, 05:15:53 AM
I need to start making money. I go to school. I want to make money and go on a vacation trip with the class. Should I start betting on sports?

Betting is not a full time earning source. You may won few bets and lose few also. I have seen many people who have lost all their money in gambling.
Since you're are student and  go to school, you can take money from your parents for the vacation trip. If you are short on money, try to do odd jobs in your free time and earn money.
2926  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto journey on: June 04, 2021, 03:30:48 AM
Nobody ever lost money in bitcoin or ETH by holding for 4 years or more. Bare that in mind & good luck.
Don’t try & trade short term, most people lose that way.

Usually people who invest in bitcoin don't have the tendency to hold for 4 or more years. Either they sell their coins too early as soon as they see some profit or they keep holding in hope of price recovery but then sell them in loss right at the bottom. There are very few who keep holding for 4 years cycle and enjoy enormous profits.
2927  Other / Off-topic / Re: Offline games on: May 30, 2021, 10:53:59 AM
I don't play any offline game because they may only give entertainment but wastes a lot of time. I think offline games are for the kids. The adults should only play gambling games which allow us to win some money also and also get entertained at the same time.
2928  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid-19 Vaccinated people will die in 2 years on: May 30, 2021, 09:19:06 AM
So there is no such things as dying in 2 years. Then what is the point of that title  Huh

Yes, there is no such thing as dying in 2 years.
The reason i posted this topic to know the reality because it was widely spreading in the social media most probably to create the fud.
I am locking this topic as there are many other threads to continue the discussion for covid 19.

Remember You can die even before getting vaccinated, after getting vaccinated or you can live 100 more years with or without vaccine.   Smiley
2929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are your Bitcoins safe? on: May 30, 2021, 08:50:56 AM
OP is absolutely spot on. I know a number of cases where people lost access to their Bitcoins, because they lost the password and recovery phrase. In most of the cases, carelessness was to blame.
Yep, back up the password seems the focus of OP to remind all people. It won't be fun anymore if you lost your password and finally cannot access the wallets. Sure, the careless way to keep the password is likely as the most reason for losing the password. That's why we need a proper way to keep it and not only keep it in a single place only. Keep the password in some places that we easily to remind it and they should be secure enough.

Bitcoin passphrases and private keys are 100% safe as no one is able to brute force them. However if people are careless and forget their private keys and lost access to their wallets, then its their own fault and blockchain technology has nothing to do with it. Keep your private keys safe and no one will be able to steal your coins.
2930  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia - Al Jazeera en - 27. May 2021, 21h (GTM) on: May 30, 2021, 08:23:55 AM
I watched the documentary. It's actually not about cryptopia the exchange but rather a documentary about Bitcoin, Blockchains and the internet. I love how they talk about how internet started and how they compare its growth with how cryptocurrencies started to this date.

Why did they used the word cryptopia which is the hacked exchanged. If anyone is making a documentary on bitcoin for the promotion, such dark sides of crypto hacks should be hidden.
Anyways its good to see the bitcoin awareness in media is increasing.
2931  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your favorite outdoor activity? on: May 30, 2021, 06:35:53 AM
We Bitcoiners spend a lot of time on the computer and indoors. What's your favorite way to get outside and be active?

To be honest all the outdoor activities are on hold. I mostly stay at home and only visit out if there is any need. Its been ages since we (my family) go outside for fun or picnic. All the tourist spots are closed due to covid19  Sad  The restaurants are open but dine-in is closed. We can only "take away" from them. Once the life normalizes, then we can think of outdoor activities.
2932  Other / Off-topic / Re: I work in the Crypto Gambling industry AMA on: May 30, 2021, 06:21:22 AM
Hi guys.
I won't be disclosing what site I am working for, nor what sites I have worked for in the past.

Just found it for which gambling site you work  Wink
Hi. I'm Daniel, and I'm the owner of https://crypto-gambling.net/

Within crypto gambling, I know most details. In terms of traditional online casinos, there are a few things here and there I am not familiar with.
Shoot your questions Smiley

Tell me from the gambling house prospective, how much it cost to setup a proper crypto gambling site ?
2933  Other / Off-topic / Re: NFT Tokens on: May 30, 2021, 05:42:08 AM
Never played this kind of game, Sad please advise where to start?

You can start Sandbox (https://www.sandbox.game/) as this is one of my favorite game. Also there are many games which let you earn WAX tokens.
If you have free time and you are fond of games, its better to play these games which also give you the opportunity to earn while playing.
2934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: May 30, 2021, 04:56:32 AM

Who is still hopeful that dogecoin will reach 1 dollar ?  I think without the support of Elon Musk, it cannot achieve this price.
2935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: May 30, 2021, 04:40:15 AM
There are two different things hodling and day trading/short time trading. If you are referring to the fact that bitcoin is not for short time trading then I am with you though there are people who earn good enough with day trading also. But I do agree that hodlers are ultimate winners in the long run.

I see many people losing money in day trading because they are not experienced traders. If anyone wants to get good return and has little know how about the trading, then holding is the best option for him. If anyone can only hold bitcoin for few years, he will get best value for money.
2936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Media now Admitting that +67% of BITCOIN Mined&Owned by China on: May 30, 2021, 03:35:04 AM
We already know that the biggest mining farms for bitcoin are in china but that does not mean that china control the bitcoin. Also the news that china banned bitcoin is totally fun news which we hear in almost every bitcoin cycle and it always work to push the bitcoin price down.  Sad
2937  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there anyway to buy alcohol online with bitcoin? on: May 29, 2021, 12:34:52 PM
I think there must be a request like that, it's just not exposed, not just to buy alcohol, of course someone is used to buy anything.

You can buy alcohol or practically anything with bitcoin, provided the store accepts bitcoin. If you can buy alcohol with fiat money, there should be no issue buying the same with crypto currencies.
I could not find any store which sell alcohol for bitcoin but situation can be different in other countries.
2938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: May 29, 2021, 11:41:28 AM
Bitcoin price is currently close to 30k, it is best to buy incrementally even though your target is 30k if buying near that price doesn't matter because the difference is only a little.
because bitcoin can easily reverse the situation and I am sure that sooner or later the price of bitcoin will rise again, you should take advantage of the best moments in this decline gradually without having to target the lowest price and the increase in bitcoin price is guaranteed to happen only takes time.

Also the fear is now less as compare to the last week as bitcoin price is ranging between 35-40K. Still there is a lot of fear in the market and people are not confident to invest in bitcoins.

Yes indeed! traders and investors are now buying and holding after experiencing that fall, seeing the
advantage and trying to keep the ball moving even there are still pressures that this market will fall back.

The good thing is people do realize that in every trend there's always certain bounce, we do see a lot of this kind
of movements beforehand and with some experienced traders and investors they are trying to catch the dip,

Buying it little by little and test if indicators will show up and give the them the green sign that they are waiting.

It look like market will remain in fearful mode until bitcoin crosses the weekly 21 exponential moving average. No one knows the next movement of bitcoin price and retail investors are not willing to take risk in this time. I think some people are waiting for the monthly close before coming to any conclusion.
2939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans Bitcoin too on: May 29, 2021, 11:30:25 AM
Iran bans Bitcoin a few days after China did. This is coming after what seemed like an aftereffect of the Chinese action that saw Bitcoin dip severely (it still hasn't recovered from it).

I'm wondering if there are going to be any side effects or consequences for the Bitcoin community with the action taken by the Iranian government or is it just another case of "the snail shouldn't talk where animals with horns are asked for opinions"? Iran isn't such a big name in the crypto space, by the way.

According to report, the ban is a temporary one which will last only four months to enable the country correct its power blackout.

Do you think this ban from Iran is another FUD?

Iran only banned bitcoin mining and that too for only few months of summer.  They never banned bitcoin itself. I don't understand why media always gives fake news only to create attentions towards them. Also its people fault who do not read the whole news and start to believe in the fud.
2940  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUD-slingers saying 20K this weekend... on: May 29, 2021, 05:54:19 AM
I hope this does not overlap too much with other recent threads.

Been seeing market analysis that points to aggressive sellers, then some typical CNBC nonsense, then Scott Minerd on Twitter posts the following: "Crypto investors be warned: be prepared for a volatile holiday weekend."

Looking for your market readings for the next three days.

Is this just FUD for FUDsake, game playing, or are big sellers going to try and dump the price this weekend?

I don't think that bitcoin will reach 20,000$ in this week end. If the bears wanted to take full control, maximum they can push the price to 30K and not below that.
However volume is low during weekends and therefore it is easy to manipulate the market.
