I think one way is do airdrops. Aside from airdrops, you can also pay some decent influencers to gelp you grow the community and make a name for it. Of course it will be hard at first to scale or expand it. As doubts will come over your way but its normal. A project should always accept criticism and from there you show them that you are capable of developing and also always be transparent to your every move. And that would surely cost you because getting some influencers on introducing or trying out to hype your project isnt something that would be easy yet everything would really vary into its potential. Considering that investors nowadays are really that wise on making out investments on which even if you do put up heavy spending on marketing but your project is shit then it would be useless. Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?
It's simply not the same market that BTC and CBDCs are in. CBDCs are a digital extension of fiat that was bound to happen as a matter of time. BTC is decentralized and secure, and cannot be tampered with by any central governments. Essentially they are precisely the two ends of the spectrum when it comes to decentralization. One gives the government more power and traceability, the other doesn't. People who desire decentralization will obviously still opt for BTC. Correct, however this is a Trojan horse, governments are seeing that there is a tendency to adopt decentralized cryptocurrencies that they cannot stop and that if anything they have helped to create, they want to stop this but they are unable so what it is the best they can do? To create their own currencies that look like decentralized ones but that are under their complete control and try to deceive people to adopt them, and while many people will see what it is behind many people will fail to do so. Government does really love on deceiving people specially when they are seeing some threats which could totally oppose on what they do really prefer which we know that they dont really like crypto in the first place plus on having that decentralized factor which do really makes even more been hated which it isnt surprising that much.They couldnt able to control nor get rid of it technically but they could able to stir up or making involvement via those platforms or services which do attached with fiat which its unavoidable for us to make use. |

Alternative to fiat in my own understanding from your post @Op you mean bitcoin can also serve the full functionality every other fiat posses and still grant you your privacy and also protect from a third party intermediary if this be the point then that is it. Bitcoin has actually fulfilled its full purpose then giving you full control of your coin using cryptographic hash function.
Bitcoin does have its own function Fiat does have its own function It would only differ on some aspects thats why its just right that both would co-exist on which we could at least have the option on which one we would really prefer to use. On the Expo2020 in Dubai I was happy to visit El Salvador pavilions. Honestly speaking - I think that's the best in its category (among the small pavilions). It's better because you could put all your efforts in it to make sure that you won't lose, while it is the complete opposite of multi bets, because it's too hassle for me to analyze data for multiple bets. I'd rather bet big with big research included for assurance rather than randomly make multi bets. Also, multi betting doesn't assure you profits, sometimes it could go other way around.
