2921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: September 09, 2019, 09:44:05 AM
I have heard some stories about making bitcoin transactions illegal. It's all been a humor and I don't think any government have officially made bitcoin transactions illegal. Why is that?
Many governments are trying to regulate bitcoin, control exchanges and force people to be authorized. But I am sure government wish bitcoin was not created and there was no trouble of regulating bitcoin. They  prefer their fiat to any other currency.
Why no government have made bitcoin transactions illegal?
I think they want to avoid creating an underground market. They don't want bitcoin to be traded like Alcohol and drugs. They have to accept bitcoin as they cannot stop a decentralized network and now they can only try to regulate it. Do you agree with me? Is there any other things have caused governments to not make bitcoin illegal?
It's pretty easy to make bitcoin illegal and for example India plans to do that but why? Is there benefit behind this idea? I think no. Also there are a lot of mining datacenters, exchanges which bring a good money in budget. Also governments at some point need bad guys, money is made during these processes. Also if you make bitcoin illegal can you imagine what it will cause? Even harder ways for governments to solve another upcoming problem. By banning something you can't stop it, you just make it difficult to detect again and I think that must be clear for everyone.
Also why to say that governments would never wish bitcoin to be created? After all they happily try to get something from it, implementing of blockchain technologies.
2922  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is honestmining a scam? on: September 05, 2019, 06:42:45 PM
Time and again at least once a week folks continue to ask that question and the answer will always be the same: Virtually ALL cloudmining operations are scams. Period.

If you want to mine you need your own hardware to do it.
By the way that answer was written down below to your post.
The problem isn't that we have to give same answer on such questions, problem is that people ask and ask them again and again, they don't ask this question: What benefit to cloud mining companies with my money especially when they offer so amazing promises. Yes, they don't ask this question to public and to themselves too.
Even real mining doesn't work well and why the hell will cloud generate any income for you.
2923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why Cryptocurrency future in India is in danger on: September 05, 2019, 04:12:05 PM
Wow, I was reading OP's post and it's dated back in 2018, didn't know if everything started half year ago. Seems the warning was real because currently as we see India is seriously going to ban use of cryptocurrencies and if someone won't follow that rule, he/she will be seriously punished, which may include some years in prison. Despite the fact hat India will lose an almost $13 Billion Market by Banning Crypto, it doesn't stop them. Don't know why it doesn't matter for poor country.
2924  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: September 05, 2019, 03:26:32 PM
That was fast! Announced on the 26th and implemented on the 29th. Congrats Bitsler! That means the site is now capable of accepting 21 coins plus the Bitsler coin. I hope there will be more coins in the future to be added in the list and perhaps a new game to be added as well.

yeah, someday hopefully bitsler will have 100 coins to choose from like one site i know does.

congrats bitsler on 20th coin. love your site. getting better with age

I wont hope for that much coins to choose, 20+ is more than enough for most players IMO because the available coins now are the most used coins in gambling industry already. I'm still hoping to see more games instead of more coins to choose. Hopefully I can see new games being added at Bitsler before the end of 2019 or in the beginning of the new year 2020 as it would be great celebration for new year with new games.
I think bitsler will still add new coins but slowly, maybe it will happen again when demand will be high on specific coin, otherwise it's really pretty enough.
I'm the person who wants more games and develop from Bitsler so I was very often asking for new games. I remember Baryom said that they'll develop new games, as far as I remember he answered me this winter so I hope new game will be by the end of 2019.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First GPU Mining Rig on: September 05, 2019, 02:49:02 PM
Guys I have one question, especially directly on OP. Does it still worth to buy rx 580 now and mine with them? This GPU was very popular 1-2 years ago but after releasic asic, a lot of people gave up on mining eth with GPU and decided to pick asic instead of it, well still a lot of them continue but now buying RX 580? Wouldn't it better to buy for example Nvidia GTX1080ti? At least you don't depend on eth and can mine a lot of alternatives.
2926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i have to pay 100 euro extra to blockchain to get my transaction unstock?!?!?! on: September 05, 2019, 05:29:31 AM
I had a whatsapp contact of backchain on facebook. Probably that was fake!!.

I did not desposit extra money. Just waited and now the transaction is confirmed.

How can i report such scam???

thank you for help!
Only open links/contact addresses from official website, never ever use anything that someone posts in public.
By the way if any bitcoin wallet would require some money in exchange of confirmation, that would be btc.com's transaction accelerator but that happens online automatically on website without using any whatsapp and etc.
In future, you can consider viabtc.com's tx accelerator and also as far as I remember, user on this forum, QuickSeller can include your transaction in f2pool.
2927  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbet a Russian scam! Becarefull on: September 04, 2019, 06:48:49 PM
first of all this is a bitcoin forum and 1xbet isn't a bitcoin site so the whole thread isn't related to these forums
and I guess everyone knows that 1xbet is a scam but I never seen any complaint against when the player is using their casino , they usually scam the people who bet on their sports and beat their starting prices

your whole balance is small and they won't bother scamming that amount especially that you are playing roulette , there is noway to beat roulette and they should be happy to take all bets

with sportsbetting that's a different story of course
Maybe because there is connection between 1xbet and 1xbit, he decided to post there.
1xbet/1xbit is proven scam, there is no doubt. OP there are websites which review casinos but wheb you play on bitcoin casino, to be 100% sure, it's always better to check whether there are scam accusation threads of that casino or not, if there is, what was reason and how it was solved, if there is no scam accusation thread and ANN thread (both together in most cases), I wouldn't risk gambling on that casino too.
2928  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are about to hit 8K and below...soon (see charts) on: September 04, 2019, 03:48:35 PM
By the way that chart doesn't mean that it have to create straight 45 degree angle.
Maybe I want to be positive because otherwise it will be really, really bad, another fall and even below 8K? After so many months we still fight to reach higher than 10k, hit 13k sometimes and then fall on 9k, I think it's time to let this scenario end because otherwise positive feelings will go down too.
Idk, maybe we will see 8k but it sucks.
2929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow within US that could Ship Items to the Philippines on: September 04, 2019, 02:04:31 PM
There will be shipping forwarder company in Philippines with good rates which will have office near to you so better to use them, cost effective and quick at the same time. It may be even chipper than sending from USA to Philippines directly with post.
By the way if you want to consider proposals from those who can do what you stated, contact minerjones: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=346731
He may do that for you.
2930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to receive a donation in bitcoins? on: September 04, 2019, 01:31:38 PM
In my life, complete devastation. A debt hole formed. The family is disappointed in me. Banks do not give loans and debts must be repaid immediately. The only person who stayed with me is my wife. I love her so much. I can’t cope with these problems and only my wife holds me in this world. Is it possible to receive a donation or a crypto loan without collateral online? And how is this best done?
At first you want donation for what? For your debts to be paid? It's even hard for ill people to receive donation and I highly doubt anyone will donate you because of debt, sorry if it sounds rude but at least it's truth.
Loan is loan, doesn't matter if that's crypto or cash loan, in any way stranger won't give you loan without collateral but friends may give, so in this situation better to ask your friends for help.
2931  Economy / Gambling / Re: BSpin.io | Bitcoin Casino | Instant deposits | Slots, Games and Lottery on: September 04, 2019, 01:05:32 PM
I think in order to receive feedback, it will be better to offer us some free spins.
In any way you have to include major cryptocurrencies like: Bitcoin, bch, ether, ripple, doge, ltc and others. On another hand if you add other altcoins, you will lose nothing but may benefit.
It will be good if you'll offer free spin on deposits (as I see currently you offer deposit bonus), also some slot tournaments would be nice where people have to wager and top ones will receive free spins as a reward. You can make both free and paid slot tournament.
2932  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake-branded bars slip dirty gold into world markets on: September 04, 2019, 12:04:43 PM
I knew people were trying all the best to mix some other metals and include less gold in bars in order to sell 450gm gold in price of 500mg (for example) but what I see now is unbelievable, they are just faking brand but with very high purity and quality gold, that's insane.
So gold is still pretty great thing for money laundering because people can fake it.
But can people fake bitcoin? No, who not anyone talks about it from governments? Shit politics.
2933  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PwC Luxembourg announces plans to accept Bitcoin payments on: September 04, 2019, 10:55:03 AM
I'm sorry, but i'm quite confused? What exactly is PWC?
Is this them? https://www.pwc.co.uk

Do they offer some sort of services? Never heard of them before.

Quote
PwC is a network of firms in 158 countries, 721 locations, with 250,930 people.[4] As of 2018, 28% of the workforce worked in Asia, 28% in North America and the Caribbean and 30% in Western Europe.[7] The company's global revenues were $41.3 billion in FY 2018, of which $17.06 billion was generated by its Assurance practice, $10.45 billion by its Tax practice and $13.78 billion by its Advisory practice.[8] PwC provides services to 420 out of 500 Fortune 500 companies.[4]
Interesting, but still quite unclear what exactly these services pertain.  (Or how and why their clients would pay them in cryptocurrency. I can't imagine any fortune500 company would want to do so.)

Looks like tax laws and evasion of it is their main expertise. Hmm. “This is good for bitcoin?”
As others already stated meaning, that was also explained in article too.
By the way great news, cryptocurrencies are going to be adopted by financial institutes, nothing to talk about blockchain technologies, seems there is really massive interest from everyone, for example recently Brazil started to use blockchain technologies in Birth registry, now they are going to adopt it in other section, in overall very positive news.
2934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 03, 2019, 09:54:19 PM
At first can anyone tell me why do you have to use strategy against luck? Don't these people know meaning of luck? Luck is something that happens itself, independently, that's usually why beginners win firstly.
Also it's pretty clear that player's luck is renewed every time, you can't built strategy on continues luck because every bet is built on new luck, that's how it works. It's like imagine you are building house but it falls on first attempt, how can you continue building? You have to start again.
2935  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 03, 2019, 04:54:11 PM
There was some news published here and it seems a lot of people in India are interested to put money in crypto but what happens in reality is that India is going to ban bitcoin and set serious penalties on using cryptocurrencies.
By the way I still doubt acceptance of cryptocurrencies can do any significant or even non significant improvement in their country's economy if we consider the fact that India is a very poor country with more than a billion people.
2936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: September 03, 2019, 01:20:49 PM
I think bitcoin has been one of the biggest innovations of the human in the past years. Many altcoins have been created after bitcoin. But none of  them have been successful as bitcoin is. Why is that?
Why no altcoin can replace bticoin?
Every new thing and every technology is usually replaced by a newer one as the world is always developing.

The first television built was mechanical, then electronic television were invented, then colour televisions, digital, 3D, ....
The first automobiles invented were steam-powered wheeled vehicles, then electric automobiles appeared. Now we have autonomous cars. Now we have Tesla model S. Now we have Lamborghini.
All of us know about the developments made in mobile phones.

Every thing is being developed. Every device is finally replaced by a newer one. Why no altcoin has replaced bitcoin till now? Do you think it will happen in future?
I personally think people will trust what Satoshi has created more than altcoins till many years later.
Altcoins are created to make the developers rich. But bitcoin is different. Bitcoin was created in favor of us. So, no altcoin can be trusted as bitcoin.

What do you think?
Why no other metal was able to replace silver and gold for payment?
Why nothing could change paper money for decades?
Everything needs time, currently Bitcoin is mainstream despite the fact that we can find some other altcoins better and more developed than it but currently it is what it is. Time will pass and possibly bitcoin will be changed or bitcoin will be modified and will be leader again.
2937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Premier Cryptocurrency Exchange of Bitcoin.com’s Is Live Now on: September 03, 2019, 11:50:48 AM
From the screenshot from the article you've linked, it looks like they're trying to push BCH to be the main pair LOL.

Along with that, them calling Bitcoin(BTC) Bitcoin Core as expected. They're definitely playing dirty here; and this will definitely effect the next wave of buyers in the next bull market. I won't be surprised if we're going to hear complaints from people that they've bought the wrong coin.
Yeah they do, on their new exchange website, BCH is mentioned at first in every place (Trade BCH and other popular currencies: BTC and etc, sounds very funny). Roger tries so hard, so hard every time but he always fails, he has very childish actions which are very funny too. But they had one mistake, they miss one part where somehow btc is first and then follows bch (under to VIP Trading, Prize Pool, Priority Mailing).
Also they have one mistake, on their major website, on advertisement there is written BTC instead of BCH.
Well, I have nothing against this exchange but with such shady actions everytime, I highly doubt they'll succeed.
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A truly stable coin on: September 03, 2019, 10:49:33 AM
If you want truly a stable coin, then you have to do this: Take baseline of major currency, for example usd. Then change price of coin once usd gets higher/lower. For example if there is 5% inflation in USD, grow price of coin by 5% and every time try it to be 100% in overall, make it follow every usd fall by rise and opposite, this way we will get really stable coin where inflation of other currency doesn't matter because you know, you invested 100, you'll get 100 and nothing will affect it.
2939  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀ROCKETPOT.io 🚀| NEW BTC Crash Game ✅ | Win the Jackpots 💰 | Launch Thread on: September 03, 2019, 09:30:26 AM
Pretty good, I like the idea of adding jackpots (here we have three type of it). Btw what about to add free spins like it's seen on slots and make game even more exciting? For example offer 100 freespin (0.00001btc each one) on 1btc deposit or something similar? I have another version, for example rank system where you get higher ranks after wagering and reward users with free spins on each rank where reward growth with new level of rank.
2940  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: September 03, 2019, 08:44:35 AM
Taxless society? Are you kidding? Let's forget bitcoin for a while and discuss.
Taxless society means no income from society which means no money is made from them. Now I want to remind you greatest scientist Nikola Tesla. Do you know that he was able to provide wireless electricity but this invention didn't find success because of commercial interests? Imagine how great it would be, how cost effective to receive electricity wireleslly without cables but no, it's not profitable for profit looking monsters who will never be able to spend that money during life but still can' get satisfied.
What about if we humans were pieceful creatures? We spend a lot, really a lot of money in military and for what? Why? Because we can't stand in piece and everytime we have to be ready for war.

You still do not read with the understanding the essential point of my idea.

When you pay taxes, your taxes just go to state budget for financing community interest. Nothing special happens.
That money should be spend for community interest.
With my idea, the way for fill state budget is just changing to goverment side.
Briefly:
My idea is to Goverment fill and spend state budget transparently with FULL RESPONSIBILITY.
Inflation can be cotroled with limited time usage digital currency from moment when you receive salary in that currency (example 1 year).
And this can be achieved easly with public blockchain.
Well, I took discussion on whole different thing, I know.
I agree with you, money should be spend for community interest but how can we make sure that whole process will be transparent? What if they won't include all transaction in public blockchain? And limited time usage digital currency doesn't seem a good idea, can't understand the point of this. Are you able to exchange that limited time digital currency? If yes, then how can it protect us from inflation? Doesn't it mean instead of creating 100 orange, you are creating 100 apple that will turn into orange?
Sorry if I misunderstood what you mean but it's not very clear for me.
