2921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news through Mastercard. on: October 30, 2021, 02:30:15 PM
Mastercard accepting crypto is definitely a big news and will definitely impact the growth of price in bitcoin.
This is just the beginning of wide adoption of bitcoin throughout the globe. Things are just getting started and we don't know how things will unfold in future.
The financial system is about to change and bitcoin has a huge role to play in it.
The tremendous growth of bitcoin has surely caught many people's attention and this will just improvise in the future.
2922  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in FROZE the provably fair system in WOF bonus on: October 30, 2021, 01:57:01 PM
I see that I can buy bonus spin on WOF by my RP, so I bought 1 bonus spin on WOF for every free roll, but when I go to spin the wheel, I see that the client seed section is FROZEN and I can't change it.

Then I refresh the page to see if the client seed is change and the system not allowed me to spin the wheel and erase my bonus for this roll.

SO WTF?!

I followed your way to change the client seed you mentioned on the freebitco.in thread just a few minutes ago.
I was able to change the client seed successfully so I think it must be a technical error for the time being.
May be you can try again for a new spin tomorrow and it would work this time  Smiley

Also, I think you would have missed a requirement for the no captcha for free roll.
You had 0 satoshis as per the video whereas you have to hold the amount for the free roll.

I think it will be no problem if we still play gambling because we think playing gambling is fun, although we are not profiting from gambling.
We did that because we do not have a passion or tension to make money from gambling because we know that it will be too difficult for us to keep trying just to make money.
Instead of thinking about making money from gambling, we can play gambling because of the fun thing so that will not make us stress thinking about losing money.
If you can make money from gambling, that will be a bonus for you and that is your luck to win the money in gambling.
As long as you know how to treat gambling, that will be okay.

That's exactly how I treat gambling. I used to gamble for money few years ago and like everyone else even I started losing money gambling frequently.
So I started using different strategies but even I made some profits in short term I still made losses in the long term.
So eventually I stopped thinking about making money from gambling and realized it is more fun to just gamble without thinking about the money.
Nowadays I just gamble for fun and that's about it.
That's a better way to think of gambling in fun manner without giving any importance to the profits and it's like you just releived your stress or for entertainment purposes by giving out some money and it's different from other services you get is that you also stand a chance of winning some back or even huge amount of money sometimes. So if you win that's best and if not treat it as normal loss and keep imagining it as fun activity.
Maybe for other people, that is better. However in my case, I an not playing just to relieve stress. I play to win. If I lose, I accept it since I know the best and worst case scenario upon spinning every reels and placing real money on the line. Maybe if I have money which I can easily afford to lose, thats when I'll play just to "relieve" stress. But for now, most of the time, if you lose more stress will be added to yourself. but that's part of gambling.

Then I probably think you should be adding stress to yourself every once in a while because we generally keep losing.
Out of 10 how many times do you win your bets ? You know nothing matters as long as you are in profits.
If you are making money then you should be good to go but if you are losing then you should stop adding more stress to yourself.
Gamble only for fun with minor amounts.

I finally hit 3200 lottery tickets today from the WoF bonus spins I usually buy daily until I will empty all my RP for those. It looks like glitch which couldn't change the seed before rolling has been fixed and prizes are back to normal with possibilities to hit the so big ones also beside the standart 32 prizes.

Wow that's great that you won the 3200 lottery tickets. I have won it quite a few times too but those lottery tickets never brought me any luck.
I wish you score something out of those lottery tickets. Also, I never knew we can change the seed for the WoF spins too.
Can someone tell me where can I change the seed for the WoF spins ?

Before solve the captcha, you must click on Provably Fair letters (down on the page).

I win a few times maximum rp and tickets for the spin and 2-3 times - max satoshi , but every time I change the seed. Otherwise I won only minimal rp, tickets or satoshi - mostly min. RP.

Thanks for that info. I don't know how come I can miss that while it was in front of my eyes all this time.
May be the excitement of spinning the wheel never let me focus on the page  Grin

Also, I got an already expired free spin again this time. The spin was expired before I opened the mail in less than 48 hours.
I get this issue once in every 2-3 months. @TheQuin any idea why this happens ?

2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the journey of BNB and ETH been smooth from when it first appeared until now on: October 29, 2021, 04:00:36 PM
Among the many good value coins on the crypto market, only a few of the Altcoins of particular concern are Ethereum and Binance Coin. If Bitcoin is like a king, then the two coins are like a queen. Ethereum and Binance are on a good track and currently BNB is at $512 and ETH $4.3K. Reasonable price in my opinion. Has the journey of BNB and ETH been smooth from when it first appeared until now?

I don't know much about BNB but I have been holding ETH and I can't say that the journey has been smooth.
Although ETH is at an ATH right now it has faced some serious dumps just like bitcoin.
In the 2018 bear market the price of ETH wen from $1400 to $80 which is a huge dump to be honest.
From $80 it has increased to the current price of $4300. So I would say ETH has definitely crossed it's hurdles to come to this price today.
It has not been so easy but it has made it.
2926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 29, 2021, 03:50:15 PM
It's hard to say exactly which coins will survive 5 years, this is quite a long time. On your list, I only trust the top 3 coins ETH, ADA, DOT all three are potential coins and huge communities. The remaining 3 coins are quite new, we don't know if it will continue to exist if the bear season lasts like 2017 or not. So I'll sell them when it's profitable and I'll buy some bitcoins, that's awesome.
the potential of these three coins is very strong to survive even though it is possible we will not know what the next 5 years will be like but these three coins are very interested in today.
at least for the next few months this coin will continue to grow and for this year this coin will definitely continue to grow.
on the other hand i also like eth and dot but for cardano i just started adopting them

I'm with you mate, those 3 coins is feasible to survive in few years to come even if we don't know what the future holds.
However, to me I have one priority coin which is ETH other than bitcoin and then I also invest in other altcoins which projects possibilities in the new future to make myself gain and profit, then sell few amount to invest more in my main coin to maximize my portfolio.
Nevertheless, we never know what will happen in 5yrs from now so to be sure I always make sure to invest other alternatives if those stated coins above doesn't make it.

Nobody knows what's gonna happen 5 years down the line but the best case scenario is ETH and DOT will survive since they have good potential.
I am personally not attracted towards Cardano and think it won't make a good coin in the long run.
ETH is the best bet from the OP list and I think we can add Solana to it as well although BTC is obvious the best long term option.

My altcoin, when I send balance, it stays in unconfirmed balance forever in the receiving wallet.  How can I avoid this?

Your post is vague. You should add more details to it like which altcoin you are talking about.
What is the transaction fees you have used to make the payment. Which wallet you were using while making the payment.
The best thing to do would be to post the transaction id so that we can have a look at it and provide a better solution to your query.

Yes they have already mentioned in in their thread that they will no give the WoF spins instead of the RP bonus and I think that's actually a boon than a bane.
With the extra WoF spins we get the chance to win higher RP than we could have got from the RP bonus.
So I don't think there would be anyone complaining about it. Even I wanted to try this WoF bonus but was waiting for a weekend to utilize it to the fullest  Tongue
2931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TV Commercials & How they attracting more clients in crypto industry. on: October 28, 2021, 04:35:11 PM
We live in the era where digital platform plays amazing role in attracting your clients.
Well, things are changing at alarming rate in the country like India. Recently we had biggest game of T20 World Cup 2021, Ind vs Pak, considering their cricket battle is most popular it had enormous amount of viewers that day.

In this match the most interesting fact was the commercial advertisement that was getting flashed in between every over was about the Crypto Wallets and exchangers.

One of such companies which hosted the ads was CoinSwitch Kuber.  Reference

I am wondering how this helping the crypto space since, with millions of peeps watching this ad some of them must have searched for it, started using after it and what not.
Even in the Indian New Channels crypto market is discussed many times, they do show the ads too.

Since there is no ban on such ads yet, I believe Indian Government is not on the strict side yet.
Does your country has such commercials, what do you think how it is helping us?

Guess how many users watched this match (thus the crypto coin advertisement)

As per one article, online streaming partner HotStar alone recorded 13 millions viewers.  Reference
One of the former cricketer Shane Warne projected that, there will be at least 1 billion viewers for this match. Reference

How do you see they impact the viewer?

Even I have seen such marketing in commercials on TV and online platforms. I have seen crypto ads in apps, TV commercials, Youtube, payment platforms etc..
I had also create a thread about it in the Indian board where I mentioned about how bitcoin is promoted in songs released on Youtube.
I guess no other country would have ever seen a song promoting bitcoin in it.

In case you want to watch the song on Youtube as well : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5363612.0
2932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wont the amount of bitcoin in circulation vanish? on: October 28, 2021, 04:08:10 PM
Bitcoin! Bitcoin!! Bitcoin!!! We’re enthusiasts and solely want to know the future of this technology. I believe Satoshi Nakamoto the founder original intention for creating Bitcoin is to develop a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. This electronic cash system can be used for daily payment and cash circulation in general. It is believed that the total amount of bitcoin in circulation is 21 million bitcoin that exist.
Many capitalized on the worth of bitcoin and use it as a store of value. they end up trading their bitcoin, converting it to physical currencies (Fiat) to solve material problems like buying properties. If this action continue like this and people keep selling their bitcoin for material possessions. Wont the amount of bitcoin in circulation depreciate or even vanish? Because bitcoin is been converted to fiat currency and consumed for material things.
Jack just sold the bitcoin in his wallet to buy 2020 GLK Mercedes Benz, leaving the wallet empty. Is this action not detrimental to bitcoin?

When you buy something from a store and pay fiat to the cashier does the fiat money get vanished ? No right.
Same thing happens with bitcoin and when you exchange it for fiat you are just giving your bitcoins to someone who is giving you the fiat money.
The bitcoins remain in the wallet of the person you got the fiat from. So it is basically still present in the circulation.
The number of bitcoins will remain in circulation unless and until they are lost by the owner.
2933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders always learn to leave when the ovation is laudest on: October 27, 2021, 04:51:51 PM
This is important to a day trader. I like to relate this to comedians. In comedy , I see that the comedians usually leave the stage when they have made a hit joke that cracked audience up real good and they just tell you there time is up and at this time the applause is higher the more. This leaves the comedian happy in his closest while the audience too enjoy the feel of their money.

In relation ton trading too , when you are at the top of your profit and you are not sure or certain of the next market spike or movement, instead you waiting for take profit you can exit the market and go with happiness with what you made already before price crash because most times when ovaction is laudest, some audience might start "criticizing and you get a wipe"  Grin

That's a really good example of taking your profits while you can than to wait for more profits but eventually drain all of it in a crash.
This happens with many of us when our greed kicks in and although we are in good profits already we tend to wait more thinking we can get more profits.
But since the market goes up it has come down as well and we lose our profits in the correction. So it's better to take out the profits while we still can and stay happy.
2934  Local / India / Re: HDFC sending mail for Crypto Transaction through P2P on: October 27, 2021, 04:46:04 PM
It's clearly written in the email that they are 'replying' for a query that the customer had asked the bank.
That is why they have mentioned the date the customer had mailed them.
So we cannot say that the HDFC bank has sent the mail to the customer upfront but has sent an answer the the customer's query.
Please stop spreading such FUD.
2935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is thinking about unbanning bitcoin mining after price rise on: October 27, 2021, 04:15:27 PM
No it would be better if China retains their ban on cryptocurrencies for good. At least we can have have a sustained growth in crypto marketcap if China is not involved in it.
Because we know how the Chinese government is. Even if they plan to remove the ban from cryptocurrencies, at some point in future they might ban it again.
Thus it would again create a panic in the crypto market and will cause a dump in bitcoin's price. So we are better off without China isn't it ?
Although it is good to get the support of as many countries as possible, we have seen China banning crypto and then removing the ban again and again.
2936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 27, 2021, 04:07:45 PM
I am really surprised to see that Mike Tyson accepted to fight Logan Paul, The Paul brothers are smart enough to come up with exhibition fights that could attract more eyes and this is no exception. It is not a surprise that majority here are backing Mike Tyson to win the fight and only one here is thinking that Logan Paul has a chance to win the fight  Cheesy.

That's exactly what I have in my mind. What was Mike Tyson even thinking before he accepted to fight Logan Paul ?
Logan Paul is just another nut case who want to gain popularity and doesn't actually knows to have a proper boxing fight.
Mike Tyson though is a professional but I find it weird that he even considered to fight Logan Paul.
Seems like Mike Tyson is just going in for the money these days.

As far as I know Mike Tyson wants to fight Logan Paul just for the money because the blogger has a huge number of subscribers. If I'm not mistaken he doesn't even care which brother to fight. Mike Tyson needs the money and it will be interesting to see what he will do for it.

For the sake of fun and entertainment, and of course the money that they can pocket, this is why he agreed.
I don't think there's other reason why this exhibition came about.
As maybe he can see Logan Paul can make a good following even if he is no match, why not?
So just sit tight and relax. This is not a serious bout. Enjoy the flix.

I am thinking of what's gonna happen for the betting of these matches. Will any gambling website put a betting for this match since the result is so obvious ?
If they put the bets it will be quite funny to see the odds. What do you think the odds for this match could be ?
2937  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 27, 2021, 04:02:44 PM
Yeah, although the odds have dropped a bit, I still think it's the best range.

The odds have dropped significantly from 7x to 5x and I have observed that the odds drop further when the time for prediction is over.
So may be we can see the odds of the range $65k - $70k drop to 4x as well.
~

Fortunately for me, this is not what happened in the end. The odds even had risen and ended up being at 6.05! Smiley Will the price be in that range at 23.59 UTC on the 31st of October is still a big question though.

You are really lucky that the odds eventually increased at the end of the bets. Generally it gets decreased.
Whether the price would land up in that range is definitely a question since the volatility is so big these days.
Right now there's a dip in bitcoin's price but chances are there that it might pump in this weekend if things go right.
Unfortunately I was not able to place my bets since I postponed it until the last day and eventually I forgot to place the bets.
All the best to all the guys who placed their bets on bitcoin and ethereum price prediction for this month.
2938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 25, 2021, 04:49:14 PM
Nowadays we need to be careful when publicly admitting to owning Bitcoin. A lot of crypto traders have been receiving threats as in the case of Daniel one of the guys from Chart Champions.

Things are escalating as, apparently, a 14-year-old kid from England got kidnapped after bragging on social media posts about having lots of money made from trading cryptocurrencies.

That's why I don't like anyone to know I'm in the Crypto business.

That makes complete sense. Social media is a vast platform and it has become relevantly easy to identify anyone's identity through these social media platforms.
It is of more risk if the person disclosing their crypto assets is a well known personality on the social media.
The risk of physical harm, kidnapping, theft etc.. becomes more easy for the criminal than to hack in their way to the persons wallet.
These kind of activities generally happen when the person is holding large amount of assets.
Only a fool would brag about his wealth on the internet.
2939  Other / Off-topic / Re: YouTube channels hacked and rebranded for live-streaming crypto scams on: October 25, 2021, 04:45:09 PM
I saw for the second time the other day one where Saylor appeared and they promised a giveaway where in order to get a certain amount of Bitcoin, you had to send Bitcoin first to a certain address. I guess, as with all scams, they just need a small percentage of people to fall for it to be profitable.

If this was the way the scammers used to trick the victims then I feel pretty bad for them because they were lured into the scam so easily.
Why would anyone in their right senses send crypto to an address promising to do a giveaway. If it's a giveaway it should be free.
If you are paying then the giveaway is not worth it.

Also, any scheme where we have to pay upfront to get the benefits is probably a scam. So it's better to avoid such schemes at first place.
2940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2021, 04:39:38 PM
So I keep hearing HODL, HODL, keep holding and all that. My simple question to everyone is "when is actually the right time to sell Bitcoin or we don't ever sell it"?

How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

There's no right time to sell. You can literally sell whenever you want but whether you choose to sell it or not is completely your choice.
Never ask anyone else when to sell because you should only sell when it's necessary for you to sell.
If you are in need of money but still hold on to your bitcoins then that's your risk.
On the other hand, if you think the price is high and sell it when there's no need for you to sell it then that's your risk.

So this is why it should be very simple strategy to just sell when there is a 'need' for you to sell and until then keep holding your precious coins.
