igehhh must be really happy his team took all 3 points, while Liverpool supporters will be unhappy they lost 2 points in the final times. I couldn't watch any matches at all, I saw a bit of the Arsenal one as it was dinner break watching, but I think we can safely say that half of yesterday's games went as expected?

Saints destroyed me for sure Sad
2922  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Eyes On Bitcoin’s Monthly Close on: October 01, 2022, 01:51:39 PM
I don't know why people keep letting themselves get disappointed Smiley

That's just one part of the equation, you let your self disappointed in this market, and if so, what will be your plan B? for sure there's none for them. They are going to be disappointed though, as the market is going to fall because of the world recession, not just us, but other markets like stocks, which shows that we are interconnected after all. So once those investors got disappointed, they can't just say that they will shift to others because everything is going down.

I don't know but most traders I come across, or rather I would say close to all of them, they all think they have Plan B but none of them really want to seriously think about it. It's as if they enter markets, with full knowledge that majority of people lose money (regardless bull or bear) and then they still get surprised when they become part of the majority.

Trading without stops, without limits, it's all a sign of no real thought for Plan B.

So not even a single person went for a draw. Can't believe I thought it was going to be a close one, so I only put 1 goal win, then they of course went to go 4 goals. Had a feeling for a lot of goals in other games but that was a sign for things this weekend I guess? Let's hope so Wink

Can't share bet right for Betbuilder and can't access imgur so my Betbuilder is Barca leading HT/FT, win by 2+goal, over 3.5 corner, both teams over 19.5 booking points Smiley = 5.55 exactly!

Man I'm not sure if I'm the crazy one or OP is. I also looked up the game and it's just a 2D game shoot them up. Developer is InterAction.

Why would a casino publish a game that doesn't have any betting element on it? I know in the past some casinos designed their own games, and you collect points to convert into cash, but... asking why casinos don't have chicken invaders is like asking why they don't have Pacman or Call of Duty.

Exactly. There are websites for those kind of games.

"Damn, I just lost $1,000. Perhaps I should play Chicken Invaders to feel better."

Lol yeah that's sort of what through my head yesterday thinking of this. Gambling guy wants to play funny game. Usually I feel way too sad/down/angry to be even thinking of surfing memes or fun. But whatever, anyway, I really think the gambling section of the forum has become even weirder than the altcoin sections nowadays.

Lots of amazing posts, but lots of terrible shitty ones too.

Hey Flavio, I hope that you enjoyed the time as much as we all did, I only managed to come here towards the later end of your time but still had a lot of fun. Hope to still see you around, maybe make an account and join Bitcointalk personally Smiley

And of course we welcome Joel here, better, higher, further, as they always say right?

It depends on the faced up card of the dealer if you will double down on soft 17 or not. Remember that Slaman didn't mention the faced up card of the dealer and you just assumed it was small. I'm assuming that dealer faced up card was 7 to 9 when I made the comment above since Slaman still hit at soft 17. Slaman provides only the data that the dealer total card was 11 and when the dealer hits 6 to make 17 which means there's a chance that dealer faced up card is around 7,8,9 too and not only 6 below that's why I'm checking this info to him on my above post.

Yup, Face Up was a high card, which was higher than my 17. And I felt it would be lousy feeling to lose with an Ace, I'm not sure what the dealer card was now but either 8 or 9. I would have stood if it was 7.

Strange to see so much comment about my single hand lol.

2929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: September 30, 2022, 08:32:52 AM
Educating ordinary people to be more familiar with cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin can increase people's interest in using crypto, they will not hesitate to make Bitcoin a long-term investment asset because its value is increasing from year to year. Another reason that drives people's interest in Bitcoin is because it was initially introduced to the public without value, now Bitcoin has a fantastic value and is the target of many investors.

Dudes like you just keep posting all kinds of nonsense, you're not helping people at all. Awareness and education is not about to make them "not hesitate to make Bitcoin a long-term investment"... especially if you're saying the value increases from year to year. It clearly does not, it clearly has not. From 2017 to 2018 to 2019 it went down.

Education is about moving away from investment and speculation and understanding the true value and lifechanging possibilities of Bitcoin.

So maybe before we go forth and educate we need to learn ourselves?
Lol, are you sure of what you just said, there's no way El Salvador would adopt bitcoin if there wasn't a growth in value. Now let's look at the price of bitcoin when it was introduced and compare it to the price of 2022, don't you think that's an increase.

2017, 2018, 2019 Bitcoin experienced a very sad period, after what happened, Bitcoin was able to break through a new ATH. I think you need to re-examine the flow of bitcoin journey from its first introduction until 2022. Only then will you draw conclusions on my post, is it nonsense or not.

Dude I'm 100% sure of what I said. Check what you said: year after year price goes up = wrong. Price does appreciate over the LONG TERM, but long term means many years, not annually. You need to reexamine what you wrote, if you think education and accuracy is important.

And you really thought El Salvador adopted Bitcoin? Lol Just because a dictator who abuses humans rights and murders his own people, but sits on the toilet Tweeting out that he bought Bitcoin with his people's money, doesn't make El Salvador an amazing Bitcoin paradise. When your own people are protesting, and had no choice in choosing Bitcoin but are forced to use some corporate wallet etc., that's something seriously wrong.

Yeah, the technology is far more important than the price itself but unfortunately, most people think bitcoin in terms of price and how they can make money out it.
No one really cares about the blockchain technology behind the crypto and all this stuff. People are more interested to know which year would be the possible next bull run  Huh

That's why I think education is much more than price. And in fact not even about technology... I talked about possibilities, how to change things in your life, what new windows open for you using Bitcoin, that's all.

See what I mean about real education and awareness? If you educate people about Bitcoin, they're not going to fall over buying BTC blindly just because El Salvador dictator did.

Haha nice going on Spain slam, and don't forget we resume league action this Friday, I'd put all my picks in and worry about them later. Meanwhile, El Clasico's confirmed for 16 October, a packed month for Barca (9 games), Real looking like to postpone their 30th Oct game.

Injuries though, so either they're a good club to make money on next month if they get inspired to do a clean sweep, or they collapse.
And there is no good news for Barcelona. During this break Araujo, Depay, De Jong and Kounde got injured. This is why I don't like international breaks. Getting injuries in meaningless friendly game.. And when we have such intensive October, worst timing.

Yeah, but we're used to getting injuries anyway I guess, Depay actually has been on and off our team but I'm not worried as we actually still have a good hit man at the front, even though I wish we found something to be able to keep Aubameyeng.

Araujo bad news is surgery, you never know what's recovery from that.

Players bodies just never get the time to cool off.
2931  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Eyes On Bitcoin’s Monthly Close on: September 30, 2022, 04:58:11 AM
Bitcoin's performance in September was disappointing,

For many, there was no particular disappointment. September has historically often been a bad month for bitcoin, so it was definitely not worth waiting for some supernatural events in the bitcoin market. If bitcoin goes below $17,000 in October, then you can forget about $30,000 for a while. Investors will be begging for bitcoin to return to the $20,000 mark. Few wanted to believe at the end of last year that Bitcoin would almost always be in the red in 2022. Now the market is giving them a good opportunity to admit they were wrong.

Indeed, only disappointing if you had expected a rally above $22000, knowing that the world is falling apart, war is getting more, new wars are becoming bigger threats, prices of goods and supply are all rising and recession is coming.

Bitcoin by now we should all realize isn't the asset to go rising sky high when the world is in crisis even it is an asset that won't disappear to zero unlike many other fiats.

I don't know why people keep letting themselves get disappointed Smiley

Don't worry Steve and Sportsbet, we'll find a way to make things still fun, and we can still talk about the teams and sports, just no more use of imagery, we get it.

For the greater cause, and it's good to see you guys are proactive.

That's not a bad bet neither, definitely a good return, can't believe that Spain got such high odds against Portugal but understandable. In the end you should give breaks if you are gambling way too much, I always give breaks until end of month when I am out instead of redepositing, because that means I would be able to limit my loss amount and that way I can go on for a lot longer.

Thank you Smiley Yes, it was the situation of the previous games of course that led to Spain getting such high odds. Portugal were scoring goals for fun and keeping clean sheets at the same time while Spain had just lost to Switzerland (and of course I lost everything that day) then the coach made 7 changes to the team so we were definitely a weaker side.

YOLO bets saved my balance for now.

Believe me I know when to take breaks. Usually when zero lol.

I don't know about stifling innovation, that also sounds like another excuse. If I did something new and 1000 people copied me, I would be finding day and night to make my stuff even better. How does it stifle innovation?

Yep, it doesn't. That's what companies that created something new and original are doing all the time: they are trying to improve their creation and trying to invent something new once again, since they are, obviously, capable of that.

You can spend your lifetime on copywriting, licensing and suing those who "have stolen your work", or you can just ignore them and spend your time on creating something new and useful. I mean, you can do both, but in my opinion those judicial proceedings will suck you dry.

Absolutely true my friend, and to be honest, without copycats, perhaps more companies would be happy to sit down and enjoy their success since why work for something new and different when there is no competition and everyone doesn't copy your stuff?

To be fair the only ones who go for suing in court are those with so much money to make from winning or just egoistical people.

Though now you mention it I wonder if any crypto casinos have ever gone to court to sue a copycat?

I could not agree more. I will for sure be betting on them no matter what but for all Blaugrana this is the month to look forward to it is absolutely make or break. 3 days every game, it is a dream for fans, excitement for players, nightmare for coaches. Xavi will have a big headache but at least we are better prepared than last season for this sort of schedule.

Atletico Sevilla BTTS with boost is over 2x. I agree. That is value!

Wait for my Barca betbuilder lol

I just saw that his wager volume decreased significantly and he seems not competitive since the rewards decrease and right now only spins for top 2 and below. I'm surprised with the sudden decrease of the rewards to the free spin. The last time I check was the reward is still 800mbtc for weekly tournamen but right now it’s only 100mbtc for top 1 and the rest is free spin.

This started when they removed the VIP benefits for all user who wagered 1BTC. I hope they will release official statement about what’s going on.

I think we all need to stop posting about the same stuff again and again, it's messing up the thread as usual. I do think communication is key and all versions of the site has not managed to do this well, since I joined until today. I love support and thanks for all the help, but if you communicate things better, there is less need for support.

GL BJF, I love you but hope you finally do something about communication. Inform us, and let us know things in the right way. I believe this has been brought up several times. A lot of us care you know Smiley

Happy for Spain, but not sure I should be, because they will then have to play all the way at the end of next season instead of taking a break. Maybe worth it for them though especially young guys.

We were super lucky I guess.

Oh and I am in 6th position, so close and nothing. But congrats to Ulven and everyone who won prizes here!

It is very dangerous in national football to play both to score but that is why we have better odds.

I didn't realize this actually that BTTS is higher for national football, it's not a market I usually look at but I have to admit since discussing in the forum and seeing a lot of things from you, buwaytress, especially I find myself betting on things I never looked at before.

Any good bets for today in Nations League or you all all waiting for weekend matches in Premier League and other big leagues?
I am little worried that some players for top clubs will be more tired that could affect their club performance.

I only did one bet, it was a YOLO bet for me, I didn't have much balance left and possibly only can make deposit next month (too much casino activities in other places like Livecasino lol) but I'm glad Spain took the game and the last spot for quarterfinals Smiley

That's always the worry for all clubs, but I think some players themselves prefer to be tired and to play every single game. Caps!
2939  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: September 28, 2022, 05:42:03 AM
Not especially exclusive to crypto casinos, but casinos in general. Ideas that make it big elsewhere are copycated all the time. I guess you'll know this only when you try all those shady online casinos that are out there, especially in China or Philippines!

Personally I think copycats are in every industry. If you have a mobile app and you don't want to pay, and are forced to watch ads, then you know what I mean. Thousands of ads all looking the same as each other.

Same as going to Google Store search 1 app, see 100 copies.
This happens everywhere, if a product which is innovative is released and people are buying it in just a few days hundreds of cheap copies appear on the market, but this is stifling innovation as those people need to pay all the research costs and when they finally have a product they can sell it is immediately copied and they are not paid any royalties either, so I think this is the reason why no one is taking any risks as it simply makes no sense for them to take them.

Thanks for repeating what I said lol but yeah, that's the whole point I was trying to say. It's no use to complain about a 'copycat epidemic' within crypto casinos especially when it actually is far worse in other industries. They're cheats and they're gaming it but money talks, and worse, consumers fall for it.

I don't know about stifling innovation, that also sounds like another excuse. If I did something new and 1000 people copied me, I would be finding day and night to make my stuff even better. How does it stifle innovation?
2940  Other / Archival / Re: Don't worry, bitcoin is cyclical on: September 27, 2022, 11:00:06 AM
Actually, I really really really don't think people hodl much in this space. As far as my personal experience tells me, the more people say hodl, the less they've actually done so. It's just the mentality they have to tell others to hodl so they can sell at the high.

Like you said, the signs are when they start blaming other things/people/companies for manipulation but they don't complain when the same people are manipulating to make prices go up.
All those who are asking to hold, really they are holding? maybe or not, two types of investors are common in cryptocurrency, one is the whale investor who can manipulate the entire market. Another is the general investor who moves depending on the market conditions. Those who say to hold they are part of the general investors. Actually whale don't say anything they just take the opportunity and do their thing. Whale investors have already started their holdings while ordinary investors are forced to sell for various reasons.

Definitely I think you're missing at least one other type of "investor". There is also the speculator who thinks he's investing but really he is gambling. Unfortunately I believe this to be the biggest portion of everyone active in this space.

Then, there is the other type. Who are noisy and active on this forum and social media. Talk all about holding and Bitcoin adoption and what not, but actually they don't even use or buy Bitcoin. Just talk a lot on signature campaigns to get their bounty of altcoins. Want to see them? Just look at this thread lol
