2921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Really Hit $1 Million? Demirors Warns Halving May Have Zero Impact on: December 26, 2019, 10:10:42 PM
Ps. Indeed she is gorgeous, I was staring at her photo for about a minute before posting lol Cheesy

There are much less flattering photos of her online Wink
Don't you guys have women where you're from?

I think that it will have an impact just not when everybody is expecting it. Previous halvings created pumps at or after the event. There's no rule that the price will increase a month after or 2 months before. It can happen 6 months later when people have already given up on the idea.
2922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hong Kong Police Freeze $10M Fund for Protesters - Bitcoin Becomes Attractive on: December 26, 2019, 10:00:01 PM
In China, Hong Kong has sulfur in criminal cases, especially in money laundering. Thus, there is control by the authorities in order to prevent cryptocurrency and blockchain. It is negative and just the same, it makes a fuss about bitcoin to be recognized.

This is a stupid explanation because the 1% of BTC that is involved in money laundering cannot be the reason to block everything. Money laundering via Bitcoin is a niche because there are much more private altcoins in the space. I also hate it when altcoins and Bitcoin are all put in one basket by the governments. They 're only showing that they have no idea how this space is built.
2923  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 26, 2019, 09:48:00 PM
What if fiat money vanishes? This is beyond normal speculation. It's more like a question asked by a stoned guy in the middle of watching a movie.
lol that was funny  . but the question is not about fiat but its about crypto  . fiats cant dissapear because it was the standard currency that people use but crypto were only came out of nowhere  .

Quote
Dude, what if we disappear and wake up in another time? Cheesy
lol , again this question was like being asked by a stoned guy in the middle of watching a movie.
I compared that question to fiat because it can be turned around and sound equally dumb. It doesn't matter the main question was about cryptocurrencies. The chances of cryptocurrencies disappearing are the same as chances of fiat disappearing - very slim.
Did computers disappear? Did phones disappear? Yes we are using landlines less and less but 100 years later they are still here. Things don't disappear just like that.

That second question was supposed to look like asked by a stoned guy.

Value doesn't vanish. If you buy a car and wreck it the value will decrease but not vanish. You can still sell it for parts or repair.
so you mean to say that crypto wont vanish even if we send it to a random address ? which is true indeed and also crypto wont vanish but its value can also decrease  .  which was also a fact .

Yes it won't vanish at that random address. It will still be there and someone may have a private key to that address or even generate that key in a couple years by trying to make a new address. Value in fiat does not influence the existence of something.
2924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time for YouTube to vanish ... on: December 26, 2019, 09:34:49 PM
I'm baffled as to what are their motives. They aren't explaining why accounts are given strikes and the account owners are left clueless asking one another and comparing their content. It's not only crypto channels that are being targeted. If they knew what youtube wandts of them they'd change it.

I saw some content creators say their videos posted 6 months ago were deleted now so yt has changed something in the last few days but nobody knows what.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HEX Stoops to Another Low, Desperately Tries to Pump Price on: December 22, 2019, 10:34:24 PM
HEX Stoops to Another Low

I dont know why so much surprise. What is given for free Bitcoin bag holders will be worth very little. There is no other option. Someone that gets 10000 HEX for free will sell it fro cents. Someone that mine Monero for $50 will think three times before sell it for $49.

That's not always the case. BCH was given for free and it still holds some value despite being a shitcoin.

XLM was distributed and is doing ok.

You're going to wish you were holding a bag of Bitcoins at 6k because that level may never return Wink

Could someone explains to me why I should care about HEX? It is another ERC-20 token that promises you only high interest, nothing else. With high interest comes also big inflation and that will lead into future depreciation of the investment.

You shouldn't. This coin is alive only because it's marketed and some people think it's trendy.
2926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: December 22, 2019, 10:22:25 PM
I don't like Tone's predictions because he's too bearish for me but he's still better than some shitcoin propagators like Richard Heart who claim to be objective.

I looked at the chart and we are witnessing a nice pump attempt on Bitcoin. For now it's nothing special but if we could go above 8000 with it we could watch a big breakout in the next few days. Christmas rally anyone?
2927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 22, 2019, 10:06:42 PM
bcash for me is not a shtcoin but a valueable coin because it is slightly expensive  . i mean if i have lots of it i can earn more profit more than anything else ( altcoins )  . ltc isnt also a bad coin  . i see ltc anywhere and ltc value is also better than most alts  .  tron the last but not the least is also a good coin and a late bloomer  . i consider eth before was the most valueable alt but that suddenly change as the time passes by because the price kepts going down and eth recieve alot of negative feedback  and now eth was down on some platforms that i use  .

So all that's important to you is the value of a single coin? You're deciding on whether the coin is good or not by measuring ts price per coin? If that's so then BSV should be a good coin because it has 9th highest price per coin. BSV is lead by a liar and a scammer and it doesn't matter how much a single coin is worth.

It's the same with BCH, it's a worthless shitcoin because it doesn't do anything special. All that can be done with BCH and BSV can be done with BTC and can be done better.

LTC has value only because it was the first fork of BTC and had a large community but that community is slowly abandoning the coin. It's not going to achieve anything in the long run.
2928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 22, 2019, 09:40:55 PM
I find it to be a rule that scammers promise more than the average project. Also most scammers start from small scams.

If you dox the coin team and find they've been involved in some petty thefts or failed projects you shouldn't trust them. It's the same with bounty scams and not paying their employees. If they are able to scam you for a few dollars they will scam you for big money.

Bought accounts, fake reviews, fake pictures, fake social media traffic all such things point to a scam.
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: December 22, 2019, 08:06:47 PM
We are in a very risky market for investment. We already know that. But the big amount also needs to accept the risk to make money. I think the price of Ethereum has dropped very much. He needs to react at these levels.
You have to look at the indicators of Ethereum first in taking this risk, the price of ethereum is indeed very cheap now, even less than $ 150, there is still support down if the current price is not strong enough to hold it,

But it also can be cheaper because the coin isn't capped so there can be 2x as much ETH in future and the price will have to adjust for it.

Maybe you should try NRG? Its a very interesting project. Whatever you choose I'd first buy Bitcoin and if you already have it try some PoS coins.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which game is most fair in Online Casino. on: December 22, 2019, 07:31:55 PM
I always see games where you have more to say as better. Maybe not more fair but giving you higher odds. If all you have to do is press a button or pull a lever and the machine does everything it leaves too much to chance and makes it much easier for the machine to hide cheating and hidden fees.

In this matter games like poker and blackjack are much better than slots for example.
2931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 22, 2019, 07:21:50 PM
I vouch on Ethereum and Tron but I would like to know expert's opinion as it would help other members while choosing their altcoin investment as altcoin does pump along with bitcoin so those who cannot afford to invest into bitcoin can invest into altcoins.
I do not really agree Tron is one of the most valuable altcoins..  I'm not saying Tron is a bad coin but I think Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and BNB are more valuable than Tron.

Bcash? That shitcoin? What valuable do you see in it besides the market cap which is a really bad indicator of the coin's value? Litecoin valuable? That coin was abandoned even by its creator who dumped everything in 2018.

Tron isn't much better but at least if you want to give examples of better coins use really better coins. Market cap doesn't make the coin better. Some coins have high mmarket cap because they're forks of Bitcoin and that's all they are and ever will be.

2933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price be $20000 next year? on: December 22, 2019, 06:48:11 PM
before $ 20,000, Bitcoin must return to $ 10,000, because that is very important,
maybe if you have a better Bitcoin traded and add your Bitcoin assets

Wow what a smart guy you are. To reach 20 thousand we must first be at 10 Cheesy Fucking genius!

If not in 2020 it will happen in 2021. Bitcoin is working and has no critical bugs but a lot of interest from the public. Something like that will move forward we only don't know at what pace. I doubt it will take more than 5 years for us to break 20 thousand and go to higher levels. That's if we won't have a bubble run but a steady growth instead.
2934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any such thing as true data protection on: December 22, 2019, 06:41:25 PM
All data protection is aimed to make it so difficult to decrypt files that it will discourage thieves and hackers.

There's no protection that cannot be broken but some take long enough that you will be able to discover the hack and act or it will take so much time and resources that it won't be worth it.
2935  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-12-15] Bitcoin Prices in Venezuela Near $9,500 as BTC Demand Intensifies on: December 22, 2019, 05:23:13 PM
I don't think it's remarkable. Demand is high and supply low on those exchanges so the price gets pumped up and people have to pay premium. It used to be like that on Korean exchanges when they had low liquidity years ago.

It's a good arbitrage opportunity and that's all. It won't affect global prices because volume is too low in Venezuela.
2936  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 22, 2019, 04:52:16 PM
I'll keep holding. I don't need to take profit now and I realized that when we had this mini rally a few months ago. I held at 4000 and we went to 10 and I felt no need to sell. This means that deep inside I know I don't need money now and I know Bitcoin is worth more than 10 thousand dollars.

Maybe if the halving rally was to take us above 20 thousand I'd think of buying myself a few things with my coins but I'd still not sell everything.
2937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: December 22, 2019, 04:29:55 PM
I do not think that so because for me bitcoin cannot easily achieve $55000 per each. I think it is exaggerated and for me achieving its previous all time is possible. The bitcoin has support and resistance. If the price breakout to its current resistance then there will be another resistance. We should be aware that the area of resistance are the area of the sellers so the price are having tough time to surpass it. I do not expect too much in the price of bitcoin and I just keep monitoring its price movement.

Support and resistance cease don't matter when there's hype and FOMO. Did you see resistance levels at play on the way to 20 thousand in 2017?

When we broke 3000 it was all crazy hype fomo market with the price going up by 1000 dollars every few days with almost no pullbacks and corrections. We could be at 50 thousand in less than 6 months of a fomo market.
2938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: December 21, 2019, 10:34:01 PM
The golden days of trading are over now. Its harder than ever to research and trade in these fluctuations of bitcoin pump and dump. Also the projects are having a tough time to deliver what they had planned because of various reasons. Right now we can see people are only interested in Bitcoin and because of this the dominance is higher than ever.

The golden years of dumb trading where you could go in at any moment and see 50% gains by the end of the day are surely over, but that doesn't mean trading is over. The market has changed since futures allow people to short and not only that they allow people to short with fiat, without knowing anything about crypto and owning it.

Now it's more difficult because those people are bearish and are trying to make money on their bearishness. If they were bullish they'd buy bitcoin instead of trading futures.
2939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: December 21, 2019, 10:11:41 PM
I think that stop loss isn't a great tool especially in a market prone to constant manipulation and pumps and dumps. In a market that tends to be stable you don't need to worry about stop losses because the price usually moves by 1% a day, or even less. Bitcoin can jump 5% in an hour and this can  happen a few times in one month.

Stop losses usually get hit in this market because manipulators know how to take money from traders. Traders think they're smart and set up stop losses thinking they're safe and they get hit and hit and their positions liquidated and they keep coming back with 2-3% losses and scoring further losses until they're out of money.
2940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken affecting the whole Crypto Market including Bitcoin and Ethereum on: December 21, 2019, 08:50:11 PM
3 trillion? Are you sure about that? Wtf is wrong with peoples brain that they invest in this shit? Yeah maybe you will profit but only because you got in lucky and got in early. The profits you get are basically stolen from someone else since its a Ponzi. I wish people involved in crypto haloed good projects but greedy people won't because good projects don't promise you all these profits. Its almost like people want to be lied to. They don't want to hear they can make %6 a year. They want to hear to makes 6% a month.

I don't get why people would invest millions of dollars in a scam altcoin when you have decentralized Bitcoin that won't scam you. Are people really this stupid? Someone comes and pitches you a new altcoin that's going to be worth millions and you don't ask who owns it and what's the difference between it and other thousands of shitcoins on this market. You throw money at them without saying a word.

Here have my 100 thousand I want to help your shitcoin Cheesy
