Amber from some areas have the BTC color.
Yup, there is an etsy seller with some Bitcoin themed Amber tokens, they look really good and yea that very different. https://www.etsy.com/ie/listing/1159364809/bitcoin-coin-natural-baltic-amber?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_ie_en_ie_-art_and_collectibles-collectibles&utm_custom1=_k_CjwKCAjwo8-SBhAlEiwAopc9W7w2Uir9qdT30a-uCIk3gT0jM_5CEoRJBrZdeVHcIiqTB_g8683RoBoCTNEQAvD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_13703307989_123455824479_530490400456_pla-314954652133_m__1159364809enie_480698533&utm_custom2=13703307989![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-XDLmQ9LH6EY%2FYlSTZkHbs5I%2FAAAAAAAAA9o%2FU6AFhpRWZKEa-XKrkK5HpjbqxzYz4UJNQCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1649709924098363-0.png&t=663&c=Vipba6y-1l5mTA) Nice creativity and personally I’ve always had a fondness for Jade - hope you can come up with something workable. Problem with anything like this , would be that they any coin produced would pretty much have to be hand made and unique , ie , no cast etc and thus there would be a premium price . Still love this idea though ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Always liked wood too as a material, but it’s been done a few times - just ask Theymos and TeeGUMES ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Eh no Mbitr, I really dont have the knowledge, skill or tools to go working with Jade as well as almost anything else. Just throwing out some ideas. and @Konfusioon Wood is a fascinating material purely because it is so workable by skilled people and the choice and variety is immense. I think we have all seen the first coin which Theymos has but I cannot locate an image of it.
@SaltySpitoon, yea I realise working with metals is very specialised, I guess artisan metalworkers would be able to produce one of or small batch pieces from different and obscure metals.

Like others I have occasionally paid for goods and services with Bitcoin but living solely from it is not an option for me currently. My weekly wage is paid in FIAT and even if I could convince my employer to pay my wages in Bitcoin I couldnt spend it in my city or pay my mortgage with it.
Unfortunately the vast majority of people are tethered to the FIAT financial system more or less consciously or subconsciously.
AFAIK or remember Franky1 was able to live solely on Bitcoin....I might be wrong tho.

6 from 8 is fine, its + Satoshis in the wallet. I'm not confident betting on the lower placed teams, I'm concentrating on those inside the top 8.
Couple of close ones I recon coming up in R6, Storm v Sharks, Sea Eagles v Titans and Roosters v Warriors. I'll check the odds later and place my bets.
Good speil above and those with the "Knights will slay the Dragons" never gets old, brings a smile to my face!

Davidovich Fokina won today and faces defending champion Djokovic next.
Sinner is also back in action and faces Coric. He should win this, hopefully he wont have to retire.
Also Stan Wawrinka is playing at Monaco too and he faces Bublik.
I have a bet on Sinner and on Korda to beat van de Zandschulp, Korda is going well lately and performs well on clay.

Hi All, There seems to be a big emphasis on Gold, Silver, Coppper and Brass used in the making of collectible crypto coins, which is all good. I have seen coins listed here before in Aluminium , Stainless Steel, Platinum I think and Bronze I think but I was wondering lately what other types of materials or even metal alloy's would be cool and different to produce collectible coins in? My first thought went to Jade, and I havent seen anything in Jade with a Bitcoin theme, how cool would that be be create a Satoshi coin from a distinctly oriental material? http://numismatics.org/collection/1937.179.19388![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblogger.googleusercontent.com%2Fimg%2Fb%2FR29vZ2xl%2FAVvXsEhEtSXpuKevRntlDpOCCfUr5OrZzv1pntwnjsxXhPAU1Ij-URxpUpWvCzIGZmrFWkK8ns0iQ_trPsCdsoIoXigkCwu1Mm-gaPDXfqV0ezB8XTShNQjMNWG7cOcrBjuzjUEvHj7TKd627dw9vHKsJDvr17vbS2tCvDma-ZA1Xk626gtj8PCeZLLEuJy6%2Fs320%2F01.png&t=663&c=HBfW9BK3OCA5oQ) As regards metal alloys there are many which have been used in ancient coinage like Electrum which is an alloy of Gold and Silver. I'm not sure how difficult is is to make these materials and how difficult it is to work with them, has anyone considered different materials for making Collectible Crypto Coinage I wonder? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrum#Early_coinage![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2F8%2F8e%2FEphesos_620-600_BC_FANEOS.jpg&t=663&c=YGTnU8inmIXshw) From that wiki page there are other alloys listed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corinthian_bronze It is thought to be an alloy of copper with gold or silver (or both) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepatizonalso known as black Corinthian bronze, was a highly valuable metal alloy in classical antiquity. It is thought to be an alloy of copper with the addition of a small proportion of gold and silver (perhaps as little as 8% of each), mixed and treated to produce a material with a dark purplish patina, similar to the colour of liver https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PanchalohaPanchaloha is traditionally described as an alloy of gold, silver, copper, zinc, and iron.

400k->6000 = > 15 6k ->50k = > 8.333 If the ratio will fall again 1.8x then 8.333 / 1.8 = 4.629 So 50k * 4.29 = 214k, not 300k. However, literally nothing proves that these numbers are correct and this is gonna happen. So it's a speculation, as worthless as any.
You are right, it is 214k, not 300k. However, both are the same, that the price may be above $200k in 2026. I agree with you that all of this is a prediction only. We don't know if the same scheme will return, the next price improvement can be different than previously. We must remember that nothing is sure (certain) in the crypto world, crypto nature is unpredictable. Bitcoin price cannot be 100% determined by a mathematical formula. It purely depends on demands that have no exact numbers. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Well its in the right board "Speculation" and as everyone realises its just a guessing game. There is rightly so a very big chance that Bitcoin will be valued higher than it is now, we have a halving in 2024 which means the block reward and supply to the market will be 3.125, th9is will certainly be reflected in the value. $214K or $300k and anything in betwen is realistic IMO, the future holds many events which we cannot comprehend.

Thoae new designs are great, love the syle of your designs, they are easily identifiable as CYPHER HODL coins without the hologram IMO. The video adds a totally different perspective, these are seriously chunky coins [which is great!]There are a lot of designs so I want to aska few questions, a.] Are these in production yet? b.] What is the material? I'm guessing brass but its not mentioned in the thread . . . c.] and what are the quantities?

I can imagine its a daunting task currently to make a start with CRYPTOCURRENCY, narrowing ones focus to Bitcoin makes the task massively less daunting but not everyone will have the foresight to do that and could get easily missled. The forum here is a great place to start, more so than social media where one can get bombarded with all kinds of Crypto "opportunities".
...Now, many of us—ignorant folks—are enthusiastic about cryptocurrency, but we don't seem to know where to start, what to learn, how to invest, the future of cryptocurrency and how to not be victims of scam. One thing that gives me hope is that I believe it is never too late to start, ...
The best time to start is NOW and dont dwell on the past which nobody has control over.

Rollbit dont have this game^ listed yet but I will be going with the Rabbitohs
I'm also going with the Roosters over the Broncos.
Half time in the NRL game between The Bulldogs and The Panthers, scoreline 6-20. The Panthers will win this unless something drastic happens which I will be 5 from 5, really happy with that.
Rugby Union
The United Rugby Championship is taking a break for 2 weeks but no break for the teams involved in the European Rugby Championship or Heineken Champions Cup because that takes over this coming weekend with the first round of 16. I'll be making a few bets but not sure on who yet.
I'm thinking: Leinster to beat Connacht Racing 92 to beat Stade Francais La Rochelle to beat Bordeaux Begles
Exeter Chiefs to beat Munster
I'm happy enough with my picks from the weekends first leg of the final round of 16 in the European Rugby Championship, All 4 won so Its a very Green weekend for my rugby bets.

Yeah, I know it's on clay, but I'm banking that he can overcome someone who is not a rank player, unfortunately, it was a default match. But it might be very different in his next match because he will be facing Opelka. So I will have the +1.5 on Opelka @1.97. I dont have a bet on this match which is on now with Opelka up 2-5 in the first set and Kyrgios is not believing in himself ATM. I think also that another top player could be Sinner. he proved to be a player of top levels. About Alcaraz... the only thing that worries me is his young age. will he be able to progress and growth and not feel the pressure even at a mature age?
Sinner is a solid top 20 player for me and I am not giving him any chances to ever be top 3. He is solid but he is nothing exceptional when compered to the best. He has a style of play which capitalizes on opponents errors and top players are not giving him those errors. Alcaraz on the other hand has a game that can get him wins against anybody on a good day and he is future top 5 for me without any doubt. With a bit of luck and a lot of work maybe even top1. I actually get that Trofo, Sinner is.....solid but doesnt have the W O W which Alcaraz has. Maybe with his new coach/team he can bring his game to a higher level.

Re: The Broncos - yea face palm allright, I had The Roosters to win but I was thinking it wasnt going to be as close as it was, especially at HT. My thinking was/is that The Broncos are not going too overtake last years finalists in the space of 1 or two seasons. The same goes for last years finalists, I cant see them falling short this year. OK there might be a bit of swapping around the 7, 8, 9 and 10th spots. The Sea Eagles had a great game, I didnt expect that either but didnt feel confident betting with or against them.

With my 3 bets on the European Rugby Championship my first wager has resulted in a win for Leinster in the first leg of two against Connacht. I listened to this on the radio while driving and Connacht at home came close to winning this game but its really hard to bet against Leinster at this stage of both the ERC and URC competitions. Final score Connacht 21-26 Leinster.
I have a fourth bet on with the Exeter Chiefs to beat Munster. Munster will be hard pressed away to the Chiefs being down a lot of key players international players for Ireland

^^ A moneyline bet on Nick doesn't make sense, odds is 1.10. So I'm going with the -4.5 @1.71, if he is on a roll then definitely Nick is going hard to be stop as we have seen him before. No doubt about his mental issues, but if he has conquered or at least controlled it, maybe he will have a good chance to bag his first tournament win this season.
You guys that play on Kyrgios realize that this tournament is played on clay?? I mean he already has 2 wins this season and that is exactly the same as in last 4 seasons all together. I would not put a penny on Nick while playing on clay. Not saying he is not gonna win but those odds on clay scream handicap against him. At least for me. I would agree with you if he was playing someone in the top 50 and that he would struggle probobly, but he is playing against Mmoh that is not even in top 200 this is the reason why we might see Kyrgios destroy Mmoh in this duel. I would go maybe for Kyrgios to win in straight sets. As much as I would like to see Nick perform well and constantly, I have a very small $1 bet on Mmoh to win. The pressure might become too much for nick if Mmoh can continue his performance and frustrate Nick. TBH this match is really a complete unknown, we just dont know what to expect from either player, sounds kind of exciting.....

Would Nadal eventually after retiring from playing become a sort of mentor to the likes of Alcaraz or become part of his team fulltime?
I don't know anything of their relationship or of what Nadal wants after he stops playing, so not sure, but it would be nice if he remained in tennis and with his personality, skills and knowledge he'd probably be a great coach. But it's too soon to talk of his retirement, he can be a contender in the French Open at least for the next couple of decades! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) good one! Yea Nadal isnt finished yet as regards skill, fitness and mentality but injuries are an unknown and when he is back again it will be hard to bet against him especially at RG. I find it difficult to fathom Rafa Roger or Novak not being involved in Tennis when they retire as players.
Kyrgios definitely has a great chance. The draw has really opened up on his side with Ruud's withdrawal, and now he plays a lucky loser instead of the #1 seed in the quarter-finals. The big question as always is his mentality, and can he hold everything together and progress? He really should have been a top 10 player, but I suppose the mentality is a part of what makes him good, so if he didn't have the bad side, he might not have so much of the good side either. We have discussed Nick's "Style" to death already and it is of course his mentality which enables him to be so brilliant and yet be so abrasive in a way. I checked the odds on Rollbit for this match and they are Mmoh 7.0 - 1.09 Kyrgios, massive favourite which opens up a different discussion, do you bet against him here with a good chance of a win if he breaks down?

The Quarter Finals of Houston are set and playing later today are:
Opelka v Brouwer Mmoh v Kyrgios Garin v Fritz Tiafoe v Isner
As I mentioned earlier Kyrgios has a great chance to get to the final, if he wins his match against Mmoh who I've never heard of he will play either Opelka or Brouwer. what do you think?
Personally I would like to see him win it, it would give him confirmation that he can still win a tournament as a singles player and maybe it would change his mindset?

In the case of Madeira, which is part of Portugal and is in the Eurozone its very surprising to hear that they seem to be acting independently of both Portugal and the European central bank.
I can understand El Salvador adopting Bitcoin as an alternative to the US $ and to reduce remittance fees for example but what I wonder does Madeira have to gain from this?
It will be interesting to see how this one progresses.

^ As he progresses higher the spotlight intensifies along with the pressure and expectations from other people. Managing that is important and having the right people around is key.
Would Nadal eventually after retiring from playing become a sort of mentor to the likes of Alcaraz or become part of his team fulltime?

Hello doblezero, I did s search on ebay and came accross this seller > https://ebay.ie/usr/security-products. They are based in the U.K unfortunately not in the E.U anymore. while they have a lot of tamper proof holograms listings it looks like they have some customisable products. I have sent them an enquiry for something for myself I update here with what they come back with.
