2941  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best Wallet Features on: October 17, 2020, 03:08:07 PM
1: What features you want to see in a wallet which is not in other ones

Does open source count as feature? I wouldn't call closed source wallet (trust wallet and exodus) a good wallet. Ability to have access to seed/private key and able to import it to another wallet is important for many users.
I tend to agree with this, the open-source wallets feature are the best wallet for me.

IMO, the best feature that wallet has that free to download is Electrum, it's a decentralized and fully open-source wallet. The most popular and wallet and it has a cool range of features, especially the adoption of Lightning Network the recently launched.

The most important is the encrypted private key, you should have full control to keep it safe. You have the ability to export your private key so that you can able to access your wallet on other Bitcoin clients.

Fort further information, look at this Electrum Key Features and the Electrum Lightning Network walkthrough feature.
2942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to get fee from incoming transaction? on: October 17, 2020, 02:32:13 PM
It's quite hard to understand an incomplete question of what you've meant for OP. Please explain further more details.
I read this twice and I think OP's transaction didn't arrive at his wallet, IMO.

Once a sender sent Bitcoin (I assume it is Bitcoin) there's no way to get the fee once it is transacted and broadcast to the blockchain network and waiting to be confirmed, if there is a congestion of the network which is a cause of delayed transaction, you can add the fee for a faster transaction but this depend on what wallet you've used. That's why most comment above says, please be specific of your question to have the right answer.

Meanwhile, you can follow what o_e_l_e_o said above to check your transaction status.
2943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: btc volaitlity and price also the eth and others on: October 16, 2020, 04:07:29 PM
Probably you need to read this article ( https://bitcoin.org/en/faq#general ) and it explained very well the volatility of Bitcoin and how the price circulation is made.

But here is my short insight, basically it is because of the demand and supply that makes Bitcoin fluctuate and meaning to say, it has a fixed amount. If you will sell today in a small amount, that doesn't have effect on the price (unless, if you will sell a huge amount), anytime soon Bitcoin will change its price, using this website you can follow the price flow. After purchasing Bitcoin just hold it until the price fluctuates into a high price, that's how you will make a profit with the perfect timing of selling your Bitcoin.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not store your wallet on the exchange, store it on your crypto wallet. on: October 16, 2020, 03:46:14 PM
I think there is a small correction of your thread title. It should be like this, "Do not store your Crypto/Bitcoin on the exchange, store it on your crypto wallet".

If you are a trader, there's nothing you can do is to trust that exchange you have to choose and risk fund that you can afford. That's why we should pick a reputable exchange where we can trust upon leaving our fund, but it doesn't mean we trust them by leaving our fund for a long period of time. If you have done in trading, don't let your fund sleep on the exchange over a year, it should be transferred immediately on the wallet that you hold over the private key.

Choosing a hardware wallet that fully open source is the best choice or much better if you know how to make a paper wallet that is the best cold wallet for a long purpose of holding. This just saying it over and over again here in the forum, "not your keys, not your fund". Anyway, thank you for reminding us this way.
2945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Crypto with stable change and good trading volume? on: October 16, 2020, 03:10:48 PM
IMO a stable coin is what which does not fluctuate much or remain stable in terms of profit, for example if a coin traded yesterday in 28 cents high, 20 cents low, then today it is trading in 26 cents high, 18 cents low which means that the profit is always stable, we don't need to be worried about that we will lose much if we lose any trade.
If you are looking stable coin doesn't fluctuate much in Binance, it might be good if you will pick (BNB) Binance coin.
It has probably taken advantage when it comes to fees, when trading using this BNB in Binance it will reduce your fees to 25%. In trading, you should also consider the fees because when you used lower fees, it has a great advantage over using regular coins which is high fees.

But this question comes up in my mind, why you're looking for stable coins instead of high volatility coins and high volume coin. Remember that in fluctuation you can earn profit even you just follow the basic step in trading, buy it when the price is low and sell when the price is high. If you're looking a real profit, just take a risk on high fluctuate coins.

2947  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Wallet S1 hardware wallet (by Gate.io) on: October 15, 2020, 02:59:45 PM
So, if that is a close source wallet there's no way to trust them, I don't think if people will trust with that new HW. Most commonly in HW's are open source or it's fully open-source wallet just like Trezor and Ledger Nano. I don't see an interesting moment or something new with that HW that could compete with the other Hardware wallets.

Since they had planned on it to be launched anytime at this moment. They might already aware of the concern of the most crypto holders, open-source will bring too much attraction, and probably they will also follow those steps and become a fully open-source soon. For now, we can't judge them yet since isn't launched and nobody tested yet.

These custom avatars are proving to be big hit!
For sure it is and thanks to BestChange for the approval. I'm thinking about the avatar campaign, there are signature campaigns that didn't require to wear an avatar like Chipmixer and Bustadice campaign. It will for sure to gain more benefits to BestChange company.

Here is mine,

@Best_Change, thank you for the approval and I want to especial mention @xhomerx10 who made this cool hat, thank you.
2949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A website to Buy BTC with Virtual card (visa/MasterCard) ? on: October 14, 2020, 12:00:22 AM
As suggested above since that is a small amount you can trust this forum upon having exchange to your fiat that comes from your Visa/MasterCard.

Be careful upon choosing exchange sites where to buy Bitcoin that involved your personal identity, it should be a trusted exchange site.
Have you tried Bitpanda?

Here's the tip and tutorial on how to purchase Bitcoin Credit/Debit Card Bitcoin Exchanges.
2950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2020, 11:26:32 PM
It could be yes, not just only Bitcoin and it seems Ethereum too has benefited through this Defi sector and most projects have a good impact on the entire cryptocurrency. Based on the thread of @zazad here, How many bitcoins are there in DeFi? it shows that there's a good benefit to Bitcoin and attracts investors to get in touch with Bitcoin before investing in the Defi projects or altcoins that paired to Bitcoin.

Let see how this promising Defi sector will outperforming the Bitcoin price and surely will surge the market price. Let's do hope that the scamming incidents will lessen to this Defi project that makes the Bitcoin weakness, meant investors afraid to be a scam, every time there's news of scamming incidents, there's an impact on the Bitcoin price.
2951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All most 75 exchanges and tradings have been dead in 2020 on: October 13, 2020, 10:38:22 PM
With the rise of Defi projects and exchange, this isn't a surprise to me that most of not well know CEX will shut down. Imagine, 34 exchanges have voluntarily shut down while others are disappearing without any explanation. I worried those people who leave their fund on these 75 exchanges that shutting down for sure others are leaving their altcoins there, (just like me when I want to sell my token at a high price, I usually leave on exchange and bid on a high price).

As I see the problems of regulated exchange are the continuous growth of hack and scam incidents, probably people realized this matter and they think that Defi is the answer. Possible that these exchanges didn't have enough customers and decided to voluntarily shut down.
2952  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Kucoin still working correctly for most of you? on: October 13, 2020, 10:16:16 PM
I quickly visit my account today upon reading your post here, I successfully generated a new deposit Bitcoin address even also in altcoins address, it seems there's no problem with generating new addresses, all went smooth aside from Dash, and that's true. Regarding the FAQ page, ain't also have a problem browsing on it. (using Google Chrome, I never tried another browser). I never use this exchange a long time ago.

You can probably send them an email regarding this matter here, support@kucoin.com. Or maybe it's working if you will click the "help" button and the main page for this issue. Because as I see the latest update provided above, they are freshly operated back considering there might some possible issues.
2953  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCclicks is a scam? on: October 13, 2020, 09:45:49 PM
Yeah, possible that you are also violating their TOS as I see there are so many don'ts (you shall not) there that might commonly some users issue.
That site has a poor review even in Trustpilot review as you can see, the same got the issue as you. I better to say, move on and accept the reality that they never pay your effort, I don't know how you earn that amount by simply clicking, that's a terrible job for you.

I suggest you contact their support and state your problem, you were lucky if they will answer you but if they don't, just move on and find another job on the internet that should pay.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 13, 2020, 04:33:50 PM
I'm here in the forum for almost 5 years and I witnessed those bounty managers who managed bounty campaign. As you can see, most of them have a negative tag on their profile because of promoting scam projects. Because they also didn't know if a good project that someday it will become a scam nor exit scam. No one really knows if you only rely on the manager, they have been paid by the company they're promoting. But honestly, the most well-known bounty managers have a point factor considering as a good project but don't you ever rely on this.

The best thing you can do to this matter is to have enough time checking all documents of the project had, from whitepaper to a roadmap, and then the last part is the team behind the project.
2955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on platform where I can trade for my friends (not too expensive) on: October 13, 2020, 03:50:08 PM
I need a platform for copy trading , meaning that I got few people wanting to give me their funds.
Probably would be better off i'm just able to trade on their accounts from one place (no direct access to their exchange accounts).
That's what we called in trading, "API". That is the acronym of Application Programming Interface which is a Microsoft Windows platform that you can able to access the trading activity but not the fund who deposited by the account owner of an exchange, as what explained very well above by @GreatArkansas.

There are too many exchanges that offer this kind of service feature, and most commonly those are free. But it seems you are talking about copy trading, they are different feature of API and copy trading. Here is the list of Top 10 Best Crypto Exchange and for copy trading exchange, that's another story.
2956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Swing Trading and Chart Analysis on: October 13, 2020, 02:46:28 PM
It might be good if you will move this into the Trading Discussion board and it seems your thread is lack of information.

It's also good if you will make your own chart regarding the swing trade strategy, not just randomly pick on different articles.
I saw that you copy the images in this article without posted any references.

This analysis and strategy of trading is useless if you don't know how to make your own Technical analysis.
2957  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: lost secondary password and some of Wallet Recovery Phrases lost too. on: October 13, 2020, 02:19:52 PM
I have my back up phrase. Is that enough???
You can recover it here, https://login.blockchain.com/#/recover.

I never use Blockchain.co web wallet for how many months after I heard several issues towards them, they are very buggy web wallet sites and it seems most common issues are not getting email verification.

Due to this topic, I tried to open my account and it was successfully log in. I used my wallet ID and input my password, I quickly received the email verification on my Gmail address and there's nothing any issues.

As I read, email verification usually arrives at 5 minutes more or less.

2958  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coolcryptovator's telegram impersonator. on: October 12, 2020, 03:40:51 PM
I think it will not work, everyone is allowed to open account whatever username. Telegram wouldn't prevent them is there is no existing username. But most likely if reported by many users then it would work.
Yes, if that is reported of few telegram users it will surely have a mark after the user name and it would be marked as "SCAM".

Just try it to report and ask the community to report too (just like what I'd did). Upon checking both telegram accounts, you and the impersonator it's clear that there's an impersonation because of having the same profile photo which is the same as your telegram account. Meaning to say, there's an intention to act like you and might to scam people because you're a campaign manager and quite popular here in the forum.
2959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "mining cartel" (centralization power) on: October 12, 2020, 03:11:04 PM
10 years later this is the current state of Hashrate distribution among the different mining pools in the last 4 days. How is this anywhere near mining cartel centralization?
IMO, it depends.

It's another way or around. Do you think politicians and economists will let the existing mining cartels(if ever) to take over the power? No. It's either they are already there, have the power to decide, or will take the power against the existing once.
Because the fact could be mining would have the influence and the power to the price. But why not? Why would the politicians use it as their advantage?

There are too many points of view that we can consider before we can conclude the influence on the miners towards politicians.
2960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are the big funds washing money of btc? on: October 12, 2020, 02:34:15 PM
In my understanding of the OP post, it means to say that the US is trying to clean their money by using Bitcoin, and then dumping it so they can have clean money. Is that correct?

If that's the case, it seems like that's not going to happen. Nowadays, it really is hard to do transactions with Bitcoin when you're in the US. You can't even cash-out a dollar without KYC. So in my opinion, the country of the US will not be able to use Bitcoin for money laundering. It will never be in the US the people will consider cleaning their assets. Grayscale and Fidelity will surely avoid dumping Bitcoin. It's just that, the pump is expected after the US election.
