Don't forget to place your predictions for this round of Premier League Matchday 28 and select all the goals scorers.
I don't remember when someone bragged that he won something big in last few months, so it's time for one lucky guy or lady to win $10k
Salah should score for Liverpool, but I had to think long about derby Man United vs Man City goal scorer, maybe Mahrez or Ronaldo?

I just did mine.  And as usual before these matches begin, I always feel like I'm going to win the big one!  Lol.  Cheesy  And yeah, Salah should score, maybe even a couple.  But City ve United is kinda hard imo, but I got Foden.

Anyway, these are my picks for match day 28:  Che Adams, Mohamed Salah, Phil Foden, Joseph Willock, Ivan Toney, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka.  I really feel something extra special about this one.  Grin  Lezzz effin gooo!

^  Very good form.   And I've recently been catching up with what's going on in the league and I'm surprised by how Arteta has brought life back to Arsenal.  I mean yeah I've been looking at the table and see them climb up and fight for the CL spots.  But never did I thought Arsenal would do well under Arteta.  He was somewhat a joke when he left Pep for Arsenal.

Anyway speaking of Pep...  Big match this weekend.  City vs United!  I feel like it's gonna be a draw at HT with United defending well at the first half then City breaks the defense and wins the match eventually.  HT/FT for City is at 3.95.  Not bad imho.  What do you guys think?

@tokeweed I too thought that Arteta would get sacked early on at Arsenal, but for whatever reason Arsenal bosses had faith in him and now their faith has been vindicated, and in coming year’s he can definitely transform them into serial title challengers. Also I expect a goal or two to be scored in the first half, and while City would be the favourites to score it I feel that Manchester United can surprise them on the counter, and hopefully go on to secure those 3 important points.

Yeah, so between Arteta, Solskjaer and Lampard, the former players of their respective clubs, it's looking like Arteta has the managerial chops to lead his club forward.  I won't say serial title challengers tho.  Not with Pep, Tuchel, Klopp and it's looking like the genius Moyes is looking strong with the hammers too.  Cheesy  And who knows which manager United beings into the fray.

Yes, without a doubt, he's done a fantastic job for a man who was on the verge of being fired earlier in the season; everyone expected him to relegate the team following a string of dismal performances, but they're now fighting hard to return to the Champions League

Not a bad prediction, but the Manchester derby is usually difficult to predict, but your HT X looks potential, since Manchester United has been keeping HT clean sheets in recent games while Manchester City has struggled to score goals. Personally, I believe the correct score will be 2-0. ( Manchester City win)

Here's another betting idea.  Leicester vs Leeds...  With Bielsa out, new manager in Jesse Marsch in and LCFC not really in good form, do you think Leeds could win?  I mean we've seen it many times before...  An ailing team then with a managerial change, the squad tends to do better in their next two or three matches.  Leeds' line now down to 4.00, it was 5.00 a couple of days ago.

^ The bad blood looks real (for Colby at least). I also do not see why he would lie about the pay cut. I mean if it's a dispute about the share of the PPV, he would still insist on getting something instead of foregoing. It's probably Jorge who asked more money and Colby just got tired of the back & forth negotation.

Yup I guess it did look real...  Lol.  It looked so real that it also didn't look like an actual press conference.  It was like watching two brothers yapping at each other all the time.  They just won't stop.  It's hilarious and it's almost like you want them to kiss and make up.  Cheesy  Seriously tho, as long as the fight in the cage, I don't really care if it's fake beef or not.

So yeah...  Official weigh ins start in an hour or so.  Enjoy.

Rejected.  -_-  Resistance at 44k - 45k looking to be too strong right now.  I've heard some people at CT saying that it was Binance that was selling against the pump.  No better way to get out and sell their longs I guess.  Cheesy  Just when I thought S/R flip was now happening for sure.  Sucks.

But yeah, I guess BTC is trading in a range between 34k, 35k  and 44k, 45k for now...  I'm trying not to be hopeful about 40k holding.  Lol.

As tactically astute as Rangnick is as a coach, I don't think United has enough fire power to go toe to toe against City.  Ronaldo isn't really doing well.  At least not as well as how much the club his paying him a week.  They should drop him imho.  And been hearing that Maguire hasn't been what he was expected to be.  Dunno, seems like there's still some issues that needs some fixing.

From my point of view, City is gonna win, they're going to win without conceding and they'll do it by scoring a goal or two in the second half.  IMHO.

Meriting this as I sometimes feel like a lone voice saying that Ronaldo is not helping them. Glad someone else sees it the same way! He was the wrong purchase for them, and he brings deficiencies to the team, notably his lack of work and lack of tracking back when out of possession. And these are deficiencies that other top teams will exploit. The downside is often masked by the upside, which is his goalscoring record. The problem is teams need to be teams, not collections of individuals.

Yup.  He has somewhat become a liability because the whole squad has to adjust to how he plays due to his deficiencies that you already mentioned.

And what happened to Cavani?  Try using him instead.  It could give the squad a better look out there.

Ronaldo plays worse than before because of his age - that's a fact. But his salary is determined not only by the game, but also by his name. At the moment he is one of the greatest and most recognizable athletes in the world and brings United more money than he spends on him. Another question is how much playing time should be given to him without compromising the club - this is a difficult question because even an older Ronaldo, when in good shape, plays better than other young strikers.

True true, so I guess the manager should just bench him and have him wave at the crowd at thr start of the match, at half time and at full time.  They get the best of both worlds.  Ronaldo shirt and ticket sales and the squad plays good football.  Cheesy

Seriously tho Man United as club has to do something at some point.

Now Colby is saying things about Jorge Masvidal. He says Masvidal abandoned his ex wife and kids.

Isnt it true? Jorge is living his life. Having parties, flying private jet, promotes tequila. But I have never seen him with his family, neither he speaks about them.

But he's an entertaining guy who sells PPV's.

Talking, that is the only thing Masvidal is able to Cheesy He tries to be like McGregor (even wear same Versace robe lol). But he wont be a chicken that gives golden eggs for a long time. Like McGregor. His only achievement is fast KO over Askren. I think that as soon as someone knockout other guy in same amazing way, everyone will forget about Jorge. If he looses, he will be in 3 lose streak. Another lose and he will be kicked from UFC imho.

I wouldn't put him that low in the totem pole.  The guy is skilled but just not as skilled like how a lot of people would tend to think.  In football it's called a fraud.  Sad to say...

And yeah...  I mean I like Masvidal but you're also right.  Lol.  Him trying to be McGregor with the fancy robe and all that was total cringe.  It would've been better if he just continued being himself.  As for being removed from the roster, I don't think so.  He's like Nate Diaz.  Win or lose his stock just keeps going up.  People like watchng him.

What do you think about main event in UFC 272? Is Masvidal able to beat Covington ? I dont believe Masvidal is as strong as Covington. Masvidal havent fought anyone from top15 in his division (except to looses to Usman). His best fight - probably Darren Till, and that was in 2019. To me he is just overhyped guy. Colby just need to be Colby. Throw punches like a machine gun and that is it. Funny statistics, in just one round Colby throw and landed more punches on Usman, than Masvidal in whole fight against Usman:D

Colby Covington all day imho.  And yup, you and me both...  Masvidal isn't really that good compared to most of the other fighters at top 10 of 170 tbh.  But he's an entertaining guy who sells PPV's.  The line for Covington is so chalky tho.  If I were betting on this I'd go for a degen prop like Covington to win at round 5 at 22.  Grin  10 bucks wins 220.  That's worth a shot.  Covington doesn't really have the KO power and Masvidal won't break easy, esp not against Covington.  And if he breaks, it's going to be late.

And speaking of entertainment, the pre fight press conference should be hilarious with these guys going at it.  Lol.

As some of you may have read, the "ground effect" is bringing back an old problem that was last seen in the 80s, the so-called "porpoising". When the car sucks itself too far to the ground due to the high speed and sits up. It will certainly be interesting to see which team can tune and reduce this better and at the same time make optimum use of the ground effect in the slow sections.

Will be interesting which team can handle this at the best.

I heard Ferrari has less of the so called ‘porpoising’ when their cars have their DRS open.  But there are some talks going around that the guys at McLaren figured out a way to eliminate it altogeher.  It could even prolly give them a good shot to win a championship.  I guess we’ll have to see at the test in Bahrain.  It won’t be that long now...

It was sad knowing that you want to watch Rafael Fiziev fight Rafael Dos Anjos but the anticipated thing happen when Rafael Fiziev was forced to withdraw from their fight due to being positive to Covid-19 and was replaced by Renato Moicano, I don't know if I'm going to be excited with the fight now but let's just wait and see, I really want to just see Rafael Fiziev if he can do a spectacular thing in defeating Rafael Dos Anjos, but sad to say Covid-19 is such a game-changer for the fighters, and us fans that wants to see our fighter fighting on the ring of octagon,

Yeah well...  Apparently we can’t have nice things all of the time.  But I think Moicano is ok.  Would’ve preferred Makhachev but what can we do.  Lol.

As for the event from a betting perspective, there could be a couple of dog lines in the under 2.5’s that could hit here.  I’m looking at Elliot vs Ulanbecov and Kelleher vs Nurmagomedov.  Most other matches have the over/under at 1.5 rounds.  It shows that this event could be fire works.

Anyway here’s a chart.  Same levels of resistance as last month, both at around 45k and and 51k.  I’m feeling good about this one tbh.  Leeezz gooo!

Like what the Outcome of Votes? it is majority that answers YES , so this is the sentiment of the community and adding my vote as well.

I have expected more dumping towards the war increase but it is not, instead the effect only happens short term and now there is an growing happening and yes people are there to support now and stopped the scaring idea with the effect of the war.

Who wouldn’t.  I expected July lows to be tested too.  Lol.  I didn’t see this coming to be honest.  It was a pleasant surprise to say the least.

But for the sake of discussion, what does everybody think is the catalyst that’s causing the buying spree during a time of uncertainty and somewhat a time of chaos?  Not that I really care or anything, all that matters to me is all in the chart, but just curious...  What does everybody think?

This will be a sad day for you and for the other fans of the Attaman Rafael Fiziev. The fight has been cancelled because Fiziev appears to be infected with the coronavirus. However, there might be good news hehehe. Islam Makhachev wants to be the replacement fighter. The UFC should give the approval, I reckon. We can be quite certain that Islam has no injuries after the fight vs. Bobby Green.

UFC lightweight contender Islam Makhachev has offered to step up on short notice to fight Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 272.

dos Anjos was supposed to face Rafael Fiziev in the co-main event of UFC 272 before Fiziev recently pulled out due to COVID-19. Makhachev fought and won just days ago against Bobby Green at UFC Vegas 49.

After getting word of Fiziev pulling out, Makhachev is willing to step up and fight dos Anjos at 170 pounds. Makhachev and dos Anjos were supposed to fight on multiple occasions in the past, with both fighters pulling out on different occasions.

In a recent tweet, Makhachev called out Dos Anjos for a fight in the UFC 272 co-headliner.

Source https://www.mmanews.com/2022/02/islam-makhachev-dos-anjos-step-up-2/

-_-

I already heard...  This sucks.  Fiziev was the guy I really wanted to see most back in the cage, esp after winning vs Riddell via TKO with a spinning wheel kick.  There was a big improvment from Fiz’s match vs Bobby Green to the match vs Brad Riddell.  But oh well, I guess we’ll see him in a month or two.

Anyway there are also some rumors swirling around that Tony Ferguson could replace Fiziev on short notice.  I don’t mind that tbqh.  It’s going to be a rematch.

And I already saw that vid with Dana’s ‘mom’.  That was a meme.  It wasn’t really Dana White’s mom.  Lol.  That got a lot of people talking when it went viral.
There are old articles from more than ten years ago when his mother June White said that he is a prick and tyrant who turned his back on his family.
Old saying, in every joke there is some truth, and I guess this was the case here, but I don't know full story for sure:

I don’t really care tbh, as long as the UFC delivers great fights during every event, people can say whatever they want, to whoever they want in the UFC.  I mean no one in the UFC is related to me or is a friend of mine.  I just like watching the fights and make small bets here and there for the lulz.  I’m more interested in what’s going on in the cage than outside of it.  The rest is just noise.

And I really do hope Bellator or some other company could deliver great events like the UFC, two or three is obv better than one.
2957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: February 28, 2022, 08:27:46 PM
Really expected a win from Man Utd yesterday but seriously the match disappointed everyone. Man Utd almost had 10 plus chances to shoot a goal but to the unfortunate, none was able to make a goal. Ronaldo and Fernandes had chances to shoot goals back to back but missed. Telles had a chance and one more player had a chance to shoot but missed. Watford as well had 3 chances but missed. Wonder what really needs to tuned within players.

Manchester United should've win the game but they failed to convert their chances and this might cost them the top 4 spot if they keep playing like this. It could have been an easy win since first half but it wasn't a good day for fernandes and ronaldo. If sancho had started the match it could've been a different result because of his form lately, man utd needed someone to take the ball into the box and create better chances for ronaldo.

Yeeaah...  But really Man United basically shot themselves in the leg by acquiring a club legend at the level of Ronaldo.  I mean how can Rangnick bench such a player.  Lol.

And keep in mind that Arsenal is still three fixtures behind.  If they get 6 points from three matchesthey’d be ahead of United by 4 points.  But all in all, United is still in good for  in the last 6 matches with three wins and three draws.  That’s not bad imo.

Anyway, clubs pulled down to a possible relegation scrap are Brentford, Leeds and Everton.  Burnley is in somewhat good form and pull itself back up.  NUFC is in good form in their last 6 and could start pulling away.  Can’t wait for what’s in store for them next season under Howe.

Edit:  Oh and Bielsa was given the sack.  Sad

So if 40k holds, do we thank them for it too?  Grin

Typical, isn't it? Just as you're psychologically prepared to sit in for long months of stacking and balancing bad prices, markets shoot up again. I'm going to take a dumbfire approach, replicating my February initial stance: sit and hope for sustained weeks above $40k. I don't mind if we don't see 50k, or even 45k, I just prefer full weeks with a strong support at 40k. Get that MA stable again.

Of course, with you-know-what situation going on, be naive to expect any kind of stability for March (or April).

I guess...  But I’d feel a whole lot better seeing more green candles in the coming weeks.  Bitcoin is due ffs.  That higher low and the couple of long bottom wicks are good signs that BTC could start trending up imo.

According to Alonso, Ferrari and Mercedes are the 2 fastest car of the tests [...] Also the Redbull boss is "scared" about Ferrari

Mind games imho...  I think those kind of statements from the likes of Horner should start making their rivals a bit worried.  I mean why would Horner say they’re weak if they’re really weak?  It’s like they’re giving up on the season without putting up a fight.  But it could also be an acknowledgement that Ferrari could be in the running for a championship run this season?  Wink  I can’t wait!

Yeah, I'd agree with that. If Red Bull are going out of their way to say they're scared of another car, that just makes me think Red Bull are really strong and everyone should be scared of Red Bull.
That said, yes, I'd love to see Ferrari back at the top too... it's where they should be. Is it realistic? Who knows?

Yup and if you noticed, every top team is doing it.  Cheesy  It’s like they don’t want the added pressure and attention from the journos writing really great stuff about them.  But really how much should we put some weight in pre season testing?  I don’t think the top teams will push the cars to the limit.  If anything getting  more laps in could be higher priority.  We’ll see at the next one.

And it looks like the cars are bouncing.  They call it ‘porpoising’ and it could be this year’s issue for the teams.  Ferrari doesn’t seem have it tho.
