2941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin transacrions anonymous? on: August 05, 2017, 12:55:43 AM
There is no way to make a transaction anonymous since we are using blockchain technology which is basically a form of money in which everyone is connected through the blockchain. A simple search with a transaction ID can find out what address paid to what address and when it was made. But bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous since you need someone's transaction ID to find out what they are doing.

Use a mixing service such as chipmixer or bitblender to hide your funds and addresses. Also, who knows the Bitcoin address is yours anyway?
2942  Economy / Services / Re: any advices on: August 04, 2017, 11:52:58 AM
Hello

As a software engineer, i am asking about wich kind of services i can do to get payed  bitcoins ?

Thanks.

Usually if you have some sort of skill you can do one of the following for bitcoins.
-Offer your services to people, especially since you have a skill that is highly required and you can easily get jobs. If you want to, go through project development and search for people who might be interested in making a new app or website for their service, then PM them and offer your services. Would recommend charging lower amount than other people since you are still new.
-Make a product for example a script and then sell it for bitcoin.
2943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany’s Largest Bitcoin Exchange Hands Over Customer Data Voluntarily on: August 04, 2017, 11:27:41 AM
Not sure why this is such important news. When people sign up on exchanges for example polenix, you have to agree to some terms. Usually no one ever reads the terms and conditions since it seems useless.

If you did the terms and conditions, there should be a line that says more or less, "we will work with the authorities if they ask for information".

No much of a problem, should really affect them. You should quote that since forum doesn't like copying.
2944  Economy / Economics / Re: Want to Be a Millionaire? Two Main Rules of Bitcoin Investing on: August 03, 2017, 09:31:16 AM
I like the idea, just not the way you advertised it. The way your thread was made seems like a get rich quick scheme especially with the click bait title of "Want to be a Millionaire" It just kinda goes along what Bitcoin is actually meant to be, not a get rich scheme but more of an investment that can be spent or a currency made for the future and provides new technology to us. Good read anyway.

To anyone who is looking for a simple way to make a profit all you need to do is HOLD. Seems like the price of bitcoin will eventually rise and we can ride that way to our millions.

2945  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lone Shark attempting to extort Bitcoin Cash from customers on: August 03, 2017, 09:17:31 AM
Pretty sure that Loan Shark wouldn't do this, his account alone is worth more than a couple of Bitcoin cash. He has been running his services for a long time and if he wanted to scam some people, pretty sure he wouldn't do it for 10 cents on the dollar.

The people who are in debt only owe Bitcoin + the interest that the loaner charges, in no circumstance should you give out your Bitcoin cash unless the loan specifically said that you had to pay back the Bitcoin cash. Some loaners might change the terms so you can pay in Bitcoin cash, but otherwise you shouldn't touch your bitcoin cash for the loan.

OP didn't even borrow money of Loan Shark, whats the big fuss anyway.

2946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017-08-01 Coinbase/GDAX Biggest Crypto Fraud in history? on: August 03, 2017, 09:04:01 AM
so coinbase/gdax didnt gave out bch or bcc to btc holders...so where did the bch/bcc went ? to coinbase pocket?

is it the biggest robbery/fraud in crypto history?

There have been heaps of warning saying to move your Bitcoin so you have access to your private keys, so why didn't you listen? Coinbase were super clear to the users so that they wouldn't be receiving and Bitcoin cash since they don't have the private keys and all of the Bitcoin cash would go into their own account. Most people just swapped wallets but I am sure a bunch of people like you didn't and now you are paying for it.

It isn't fraud, they declared it and most people swapped wallets when they had the chance anyway, but Coinbase should still be kind and give maybe 60 percent of thier BCC away to the users.
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ransomware on: August 03, 2017, 08:59:58 AM
According to various research reports including this one from Cybersecurity Ventures, global ransomware is growing at a fast rate (from $325 mil in 2015 to $5 bil in 2017 according to this report)

http://cybersecurityventures.com/ransomware-damage-report-2017-5-billion/

As most ransomware demand BTC payments and some major corporations stock up on BTC in anticipation of these attacks does anyone feel that they are indirectly investing in the ransomware industry?

Well of course if they keep paying the ransomware and not even bothering to fight to save money, the ransomware will become even more and more popular, and it will snowball causing ransomware to be the perfect and most profitable crime to commit, and if you find someone who has some dark secrets to hide or a company that has no time to fight, it will be easy to exploit them.

I think the companies should just use that Bitcoin that they use to pay to remove the ransomware to combat the ransomware and fight it, we shouldn't cave in to these criminals.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: World's Biggest AIR-DROP in History happening! on: August 03, 2017, 08:53:27 AM
Totally agree with this, the point of Bitcoin cash was for some people to just sell their bitcoin and move over to a new and supposedly better version of bitcoin, the one problem with that is that no one actually believed in Bitcoin cash, most people just claimed their free money, headed over to the exchanges and had some fun trying to turn that Bitcoin cash into some money.

Most people have already sold and seem like just a matter of time before Bitcoin cash takes a huge dump and people give up.

Seems like Bitcoin is growing stronger per second, just a matter of time before it goes mainstream (hopefully).
2949  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC.com this wallet scam?? why freeze my money 4BTC on: August 03, 2017, 08:37:39 AM
Make sure you don't trust people who may impersonate the Btc.com staff, no doubt by the post here a lot of people will try scam your 4 Bitcoin. Keep sending them emails and try to get in contact with the actual owner or support agent of the site and invite them to a live chat so it will be easier for you to fix this issue you are facing, maybe this is just some issues that arose with August the first and they might have just frozen the account for your safety, it should be fixed soon, but if not they may be a scam.

Since you have so much Bitcoin, I would recommend getting a hardware wallet such as a ledger or trezor, that will make sure you will have constant access to your Bitcoin and will make sure you won't get scammed.
2950  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: http://bitcofarm.com is SCAM on: August 03, 2017, 08:30:07 AM
Everyone be careful with this site.

Before, I can't withdraw and go to forum http://bitcofarm.com/forum to alert everyone. And now, my account was suspened.  Angry Angry Angry
I deposited to play in this site but now, my account was suspened easily.

Seems like a really well-made site, too bad it is a scam though, which it probably is since of a couple of suspicious things on there.

1. At the home page, it says that BitcoFarm has catered to around 6558.347977 worth of Bitcoin, which at the current exchange rate means, it has given out 17,810,000 USD worth of funds. That is a huge amount of money, and all of the Bitcoin faucets combined would probably not even get that many funds handed out, let alone this website.

2. It also seems too good to be true, 40 percent profit in a month by just buying a chicken and doing nothing else.

3. The forum is super suspicious and might be fake users.
2951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are paper wallet and hardware wallets better or safer than blockchain.info on: August 03, 2017, 08:03:39 AM
What you really want is the private key that has your wallet, the paper wallet usually is a document that stores that information and the private keys can be used to easily import the Bitcoin to another wallet.

Sure hardware wallets can break or become defected, but both Ledgerwallets and trezor have good quailty hardware wallets that will only break if you do something stupid. Just keep it in a safe place and when you need to make a transaction, carefully take it out and make the transaction before returning it to where you keep it. You don't need to always have the hardware wallet on you.

Would totally recommend getting a hardware wallet, way more secure than online wallets.
2952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Value and the Relationship between BTC and BCH on: August 03, 2017, 06:53:09 AM
It looks like BCH is here to stay.  For now, it seems that the combined value of both BTC and BCH is, consistently, around $3000.  When BTC goes up by $50, BCH goes down by $50 and vice versa.  Not sure how long this relationship will last.  I do not mind for my exchange to sell off BCH now in exchange for more BTCs.

They said that Bitmain and Roger Ver were going to sell off their bitcoins and put the money into BCH after the fork and they are probably doing it right now.  That is why the price of BCH is sustaining at this moment.  Once they run out of the capital from selling bitcoins, the price of BCH will probably drop.

If BCH made it and survived with a decent price, that would encourage more similiar Bitcoin split in the future - which is not a good thing in my humble opinion.

I agree with a bit of what you said since and the combined value does add up to around 3K, didn’t think of it that way. Maybe Bitcoin cash will grow when bitcoin drops but I doubt it since Bitcoin cash is just an alt coin and nothing special. I will predict that a pump happens to Bitcoin cash with all this hype and then when people realise the truth the coin will starting dropping and will probably drop to 200 or somewhere like that.

An interesting event, especially with all of the FUD and hype, but it was a shame it didn’t really do much.

2954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-e.com down ! Police detains the owner . on: July 31, 2017, 10:09:51 AM
To be honest, everyone expected this especially after AlphaBay and all the other sites shut down a week or two ago. Good for the human race, but it might be bad for bitcoin although I doubt it

BTC value will drop for sure  Smiley

Nope, Bitcoin is still where it is, so this leads me to believe these reasons:
1. The people who often use Btc-e are just oblivious to the fact that the website shut down and/or are just still sleeping.
2. The people have realised that this is like the Hydra, you take down one site, 2 more pop up. They are holding their bitcoin for when a new site opens and then business resumes. (Most likely)
2955  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin games around? on: July 29, 2017, 01:53:25 AM
I'm looking for fun games where you can earn Bitcoin or use it within the game. Can you recommend me a list of BTC games that are fun and addicting? Just want to know the list of BTC games that are available as I'm going to use them as an introductory point to teach and attract new people towards Bitcoin at my place.  Smiley

Haha, thats a bit ironic with your signature being Cyrptogames, but I am guessing you don't want to introduce people to the gambling part of bitcoin just yet. If you are thinking of introducing people to bitcoin, I would recommend taking a look around the forum and digging up some posts that relate to the topic. There was one that discussed how to do what you want to do.

Well the only games that I can think off, are the faucets, but I wouldn't exactly call them "games"
Maybe introduce them to the forum and let them earn a bit of bitcoin from that.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is amazing. But... on: July 29, 2017, 01:37:49 AM
Someday sooner or later, If the chinese goverment blocked the Internet access to the whole world,
What can we do?

Do we have any availible plan to protect the great-BTC-chain?

You forgot about one thing. What would be the point of the Chinese or any other government banning bitcoin? If ones country banned bitcoin, it would cause a significant amount of impact to the market of the country and also the price of bitcoin. If a country banned bitcoin, heaps of bitcoin will be lost and therefor supply would have decreased, which will mean a surge in market price.

China has the lowest electricity costs and is most profitable for mining, now why would the Chinese government ban bitcoin? They might as well tax it and make some money off of it.
2957  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: July 24, 2017, 07:22:54 AM
When is the best time to buy bitcoin and when do you think is the best time to sell?
I think its a great time to buy now but when is a good time to sell (if you have any idea please share)

Well, the obvious answer to that would to buy Bitcoin when it is low and then sell Bitcoin when it is high to make easy profit. But the problem with that is that you never know when that will happen which makes the good old buy low sell high strategy invalid.

I would just recommend holding your bitcoin since then you won't be that affected by the prices that much, and it is what most people do
2958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I invest On BITCOIN right Now or Later on: July 24, 2017, 12:44:53 AM
Should I invest On BITCOIN right Now or Later of August 1. Or
Should I go with Altcoin, If Altcoin Than Which Altcoin is Best for long run investment like 1 year .Please mention the altcoin names

As being a newbies your advised will be Very helpful to me in long run .

The price is at around 2.7K right now which is pretty high for Bitcoin so I wouldn't recommend investing now due to hard fork coming out soon. Bitcoin was at around 2K a week ago, and that would have been a good time to invest. August the first will shock a lot of people but the price should stay relatively the same.

If you want to take the risk, invest now, but if not just wait after August the first.
2959  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 23, 2017, 11:27:48 AM
Hi guys, I would just like to start a new topic here, I am posting it here since it is heavily related to chip mixer and the services that they provide to us.

Chipmixer is one of the most popular and secure mixing services out there, especially with the function to donate/bet your chips, which mean you will come out with a different amount, covering up your tracks even further. Now, there is no doubt that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the most popular currencies to use when trading on the dark net. Now how would chip mixer and other services that help anonymize you be affected by the police, if they start making an attempt on taking the dark net down?

People discuss!
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark market double bubble on: July 21, 2017, 08:52:18 AM
https://www.europol.europa.eu/newsroom/news/massive-blow-to-criminal-dark-web-activities-after-globally-coordinated-operation

So Alphabay is a well known goner. As above the Dutch police took control of Hansa for a while before nabbing as many details as possible and closing it down.

Is this going to majorly disrupt dark markets or will it be an endless game of cat and mouse? Is there a decentralised one yet?

Well, with this dark net sites such as silk road and Alphabay, it is pretty much the hydra. You take down 1 site, 2 more sites pop up. I don't think that the police will ever be able to take them all down and it does seem to be an endless game of cat and mouse.

Taking down websites like these will have an effect on bitcoin, since I think the hard truth is that bitcoin is used for most underworld transactions, especially on the dark net. I wouldn't expect a huge dump though, since some people may panic, but the smart ones will just wait for a new site to pop up and business will be as usual. If the police did take down the entire dark net, I would expect a dump in price for bitcoin then.
