Common sense approach. You bet a marathon top 100. Five runners tie for 100, do you give a reduction to players 1-99? The rules are universal and you are misapplying dead heat rules.

Ties occur a lot in top 5 and top 10 and should be graded universally.

Peeps-

No one is going to take you seriously with your chart when you have Anonibet listed as an "A" book.

Come on man.  We all know you're on their payroll but you shouldn't make it that obvious lol

Put the books you grade in ascending order; not alphabetical.

However, if you were to take my advice, the 2 books that pay you the most wouldn't have the privilege of the outside columns  Roll Eyes

Anonibet and Nitrogen don't offer boxing.  This I know for a fact.  DirectBet does but you don't like them..

Other than that, looks pretty good!

Sometimes books don't list the sport if they don't have any lines up for the sport. I'll check the two that you listed. I do agree that the books should be listed by rating and will change it.

Sorry to jump in again but the only reduction occurs on the player's tied for 5th with top 5. A 1/2 reduction............... The poster should wins top 5 without reduction and top 10 without reduction.

Peeps, try to get in touch with cointeller.eu. They are an agent like Asiaconnect but I heard they don't require any ID. I'd love to know what books they have access to.

BetUsDirect
ABC Islands
ABC Wagering
Instant Action
WagerDM
BetOasis
1BetVegas
Jazz Deportes
GoToHCC
Vrapo

Some of these sites are books and others are agents.

Add Asianconnect88 to NR. They are agents for SBOBet, Pinnacle, Matchbook, IBCBet and Singbet. I don't know much about them but a poster has written that they required personal information. This seems strange since bitcoin agents are normally created as a back door to get into these books.

Sounds like a freeroll waiting to happen.

They take bitcoin but are not a bitcoin book in that sense.

This is for getting around sites being blocked (some countries censor gambling sites) and to circumvent other restrictions.

Warning :

Peeps Place "Ratings Guide" is not a true ratings guide but rather a disguised paid advertisement. Ratings are paid for.

If you go to www.PeepsPlace.com you will see that the 3 Bitcoin Sportbooks that pay him for banners are the ones on top of his "ratings guide". This is not a coincidence.

Peeps Place is also operating his "ratings guide" from a self moderated thread. This is a tactic that is employed by scammers and it allows him to delete posts that he does not want you to see.

For a more accurate ratings, check out the sport books rankings by users thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577102.0

Take what DirectBet says with a grain of salt. 4 books have banners at peepsplace and they are rated "A", "B+", "B-" and "C+" here at bitcointalk.

DirectBet is the only person banned because of 4 months of spamming. Posts from others haven't been deleted or edited.

With the ratings at the other site, DirectBet was ranked #9 until a lot of DirectBet shills showed up near the same time giving high ratings to DirectBet.

I'll clean this up later. "D" and "F" books not included. Please point our errors.

Agree with you, I won't trust Peeps Place anymore because it rate by founded year LOL with that  Tongue
I like to use Jetwin for collecting bonus DirectBet for live betting with no registration required and NitrogenSports for best odds.

BEWARE Anonibet they scam me from World Cup 2014 meme contest!!!

It may seem that books are rated based upon time in business but that's just the case since bitcoinbooks are so new. After a 2 year period, longevity won't matter.

2953  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online sportsbook recommendations on: August 10, 2014, 05:26:53 PM
"A" and "B" books are recommended. Their are some "C" books that are personally recommended. The longevity of some "C" books haven't allowed them for upgrades in the rating's guide. It's advisable to stay away from 1 and 2 men shops open less than one year. The majority seem to go under. The following have all gone under with our funds:

BlockBet
Bit365
StakeBet
Bitbook
Bitcoinlivebets

Christ Peeps. You are literally the most annoying person in this gambling forum.

All you do is harass DirectBet. Fuck dude. Leave them alone. I had a pretty serious issue with them and they solved everything efficiently and to my preference. I posted about my problem and you jump on it to private message me and find out what's going on. FUCKING CREEPY DUDE.

What is your obsession with DirectBet? No one trusts or looks at your reviews so why do you bother doing this?
Approx 38,000 views if I remember correctly. Posters were the ones that helped determine what books were having problems. I ask everyone with a problem what is happening. It's an early warning system and they get posted if believable.

I won't reply again. I'll leave DirectBet alone.

2959  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – #1 LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. No Accounts. Instant Payouts. on: August 09, 2014, 06:02:26 AM
Edit- I don't want to get into this right now.
2960  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – #1 LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. No Accounts. Instant Payouts. on: August 09, 2014, 05:55:59 AM
This is where it started. It was April after I wrote this.

There are a lot of good things about DirectBet. I think your biggest advantage is keeping live lines up at all times, not just during commercial breaks. I think that your biggest downfall is that your odds aren't competitive compared to other books. I'm talking full game just prior to the game starting. Also, your advantage of keeping live lines up at all times diminishes with a huge hold. This includes the 1% affiliate reduction. At a site such as Peepsplace where posters are familiar with each other, the 1% is just a buddy bonus. I give you 1%, you give me 1%. If your book has a hold of 8% the reduction does make it 7% with a buddy bonus or legitimate affiliate arrangement. That is considered.

It's going to take a little bit longer to get the new ratings up for the books.  I can address all your points at that time since comparisons can be made. Most books will get lower ratings. There have been too many books that have gone under. A common denominator is a small staff. It seems all the one and two man operations go under. Blockbet, Bit365, Stakebet and Bitbook all small operations.

The ratings are not an exact science. If all books were opened 3 years with the same amount of clients and volume, then it would be very easy to rate all books. The criteria above would be followed 100%. Since that is far from the case, individual aspects of a book must be considered.

If a book is paying 2 hours instead of immediately, it has to be determined why a book is taking longer. Speed of payment is the most important aspect of identical books. As mentioned in a post above, if a book takes a high volume of action, along with a large withdrawal amount, an exception has to be made.
