I admit sometimes I can come across as a bit overzealous. Its just tiresome seeing the same 'ol threads about merit from " "Newbies"". And then we're supposed to just chow down on this artfully plated bullshit they've prepared for us. Newbie OP could post in any section in the forum about anything and he spends half the time posting about merit, waiting to be cyberbullied apparently. Reminds me of a meme I saw the other day.  For the record, one account I may very well have wrongfully accused of being a Fake Newbie is arbiter5. He was a little too enthusiastic for my liking so I slapped him with a neutral (basically what happened), but as time went on I found his story that he was a crossover from Reddit more believable, and realized I had potentially made an error (accusing him of being a fake newb), so I removed it. I don't want to be a buzzkill but I would definitely recommend holding off investing in this game for a bit.
There's a good chance a lot of people are going to experience their first time getting rekt.
I'm sure more than usual are over-invested in this game. If that's the case, I would get out now with these amazing gains and come back in September. But that's just me...
Even if AXS goes up to $30 next week, it could still crash back to $5 the week after.
I hope it doesn't of course, but let's face it, these kind of quick gains are never sustainable.

This proposed "like" might likely not be used by admins, or neither shall it determine ranking, but it should just be a mere appreciation for a quality post when merit is lacking.

I find myself reading up all I can to improve. As I result I post less and read more but this comes at a cost and a disadvantage because of my post history my activity is low. I only clicked on this thread because I find toknormal's obsession with masternodes to be fascinating human behavior. While I wasn't disappointed, I was surprised to find myself agreeing with him here.
HEX has 224,222 holders total.
DASH has 656,665 holders with at least a dollar balance.
HEX has a trading volume of about $38.9 million per day.
DASH sees at least 11x this... remove the "wash trading" and whatever else, its still a much bigger number.
There have been 1,871,215 HEX transactions ever.
At an average of 20k tx per day, DASH does this every 90 days.
The point is that just because someone knows how to really inflate a metric, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. I haven't really cared about DASH since I had my laptop stolen with a few hundred coins on it, just stopping by to point out the obvious.

Sorry, .0015 is a little high for me being someone who does not deeply know the sport. I cannot promise to join the league presently, however, if accepted in Duelbits’ signature campaign, I will join hehe. I had planned to sell some of my SMC tokens earned from a campaign to pay for the fee, but it appears much of the project’s development team dumped and left the project. I had $300 of SMC now reduced to only $40.  While we still have a solid 5-6 weeks before a draft, I'm just wondering what will happen to the price of BTC between now and then. After all, this is Bitcoin... What if we give you a week to change your mind? FF is fun and encourages you to learn about the players. I learn way more than I ever would if I weren't playing. However, if you'd rather not invest the time or the BTC I understand. It can be as time consuming as you want it to. |

LOL. You should have seen it here prior to Jan. 2018 when the merit system was rolled out.
Who's to say they weren't... New accounts that spend 50% of the time fishing for merits and the other 50% telling senior members what they should be doing just strike me as odd. There's at least 3 different people that keep coming back under new accounts and posting way too much in Meta (not including QS). The first two are pretty easy to spot but the third is a bit more clever. |

Don't mean to harsh the vibe but how do we all feel about the buy-in. Do we all agree 0.0015 is a good amount? I propose we:
- nominate a treasurer to hold the funds (I nominate DireWolf... if he doesn't want the job then suchmoon)
- make a deadline to deposit the buy-in
- hold the draft 48 hours after the deadline... that way we can get a new player if we need one before the draft
How does that sound?
Let's hope BTC does a 5xer during the season, that would make it extra exciting.
