~ Some people are looking for fixed games so that they can bet on them and win sure shot money. What could be better for gamblers if he knew about the fixed matches before the match and bet on the winning team? ~

It's a known way of scamming some greedy gamblers that want to make a quick buck. Scammers say they have some "inside info" and they want a reward for disclosing it. Giving it a sober look, it's an obvious scam, but greed makes you makes you drunk, and blind, and then broke in the end.
2943  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: August 01, 2022, 10:02:16 AM
You're not entirely correct, actually those people were risking their money on the highest risk since they can earn a huge money with just a small bet. it's not talking about the amount, but I'm talking about the percentage of losing your money. I'm sure the winning chance is only around 0.001% or lower than that, so they're risking their money for 99.999% to lose, it's really high percentages.
~

When you put at risk something you will forget in a minute after losing it, is it really a risk? I understand what you are trying to say with "99.999% to lose" words. In fact, the chances of not winning jackpot is even higher, it's 99.99999967 percent. But if the money you are putting at risk is nothing for you, then it's not a risk actually. Look at the definition of risk:

See what I mean?
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be running in your mind if Bitcoin reaches $1000 again on: August 01, 2022, 09:25:01 AM
~ However, in events that more backlashes and higher inflation negatively affect the crypto some more and finds itself at about $1000. What would be your reaction? Will you turn your back on Bitcoin or has your investment just begun on it?
~

$1,000 for 1 BTC is a dream for crypto investors, but we all know that it is never going to happen. In fact, inflation shouldn't be affecting crypto in the negative way, the opposite should be happening, right? It's all because of panic. In times like these some folks are selling gold, gemstones and other valuables at cheap prices, because in panic people often do the opposite to what they really should be doing to save themselves. But, fortunately, most people don't panic. They are sober and rational, and that is why we'll never see $1k for 1 BTC.
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: August 01, 2022, 09:00:38 AM
You will agree with me that society and the environment can have a great influence on the lifestyle of every individual, you often can find yourself doing, or being involved in that activity that almost everyone is involved with in that your locale as a result of influence. Now considering someone who is a gambling addict, is there any possibility of him/her becoming better if they are relocated to another environment or society where people around are not involved in gambling?

Can someone still develop the habit of gambling and become an addict even though no one around gambles?

It depends on what you call "around". In times when there were no TV, no internet and no radio, someone put on a desert island would probably stop gambling, even though he was a gambling addict before. But these days it's practically impossible to isolate yourself from the world. If you choose to stop gambling, you should not gamble even in the midst of a busiest casino in Las Vegas.

2947  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 29, 2022, 12:31:54 PM
It's time for bitcoin to be more stable and less volatile as it is today, I hope that the price rises and falls no more than 5% per day, this can happen if the bitcoin marketcap can reach at least 1000x of the current marketcap.

Firstly, price fluctuations of around 5% per day are considered pretty big in stock market and are expected to happen only during about 1-2 days each year. So, with such fluctuations you can't actually say that the price has stabilized.

Secondly, I'm wondering where's that 1,000x number coming from? Current Apple's market cap is 2.55T and Bitcoin's market cap is 453.1B. So, if BTC rises just 6 times from today's price its market cap will be higher than that of Apple.  You think it wouldn't be high enough still?
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 29, 2022, 11:24:11 AM
^

When a person plays with fake money he treats the risks very differently than when he plays with real money. In addition, during such a game he is less emotional, and as we know emotions have a very strong influence on our decisions. So I think that playing with fake money is about the same as drinking non-alcoholic beer and trying to get drunk.

But drinking non-alcoholic beer makes you a bit drunk, doesn't it? Especially when you have a dry law' like we had recently where I live. Trust me, non-alcoholic beer is not nothing in that situation. Same with betting with fake money: if your balance is zero, maybe it can bring you some entertainment. But if you have even only $5 on your balance, betting with just 1 cent is much more fun than with fake money.

I just played the demo because today the balance was empty, some times with the demo game it was really interesting even more free spins got, but it's just a demo.
But it is possible when the real game will be the same, the result is just believe it.
Unfortunately, today's balance is completely empty.  Cry

But you are really lucky not because you won SUPER MEGA WIN 2x which in the end became a win over $100.

Looks like Bitcasino Billions is giving your pleasure tonight beautifully. lol

But the game is 15,000x max multiplier.

Yeah, there is still something to strive for, right? Smiley

Today I played Bitcasino Billion slot again today, and although I didn't have such big luck this time, my biggest win was only 36x of my bet

which more or less covered my previous losses, I enjoyed my playing session. I don't know if it's for everyone, but I personally adore this art

and I  just love that club music on the background. I think BGaming team has done a good job with making this slot for Bitcasino.

934x of my bet! My personal record, to be honest. Smiley

I still can't believe it really happened

So again trying this new slot from the Bitcasino has proven to be lucky for you and at the current rates you have earned total of $108 which is high for small gamblers so congratulations on this win man ~
~

Thanks for the congratulations, mate! I don't know if you are a "big" gambler, or a "small" one like myself, but I wish you to win such an amount at a Bitcasino.io's slot that will make you as happy as I was when winning those $100+. Smiley

~ How about you? Do you have Fengshui practice that you're observing when you are about to play or while playing

This very question sounds like an insult to me. How could you assume me being so stupid?!  Grin

But if seriously, no, I respect other people's beliefs. Believe what you want, just don't kill me for not being a big fan of your way of thinking. So, if gambling following some Feng Shui rules makes you happier, I'm totally OK with that. Only, Feng Shui or not, don't bet more than you can afford to lose. Just in case. Wink
2953  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: July 28, 2022, 11:45:24 AM
~ So I think people who don't have enough money should gamble with small amounts of money which would be comparatively less risky.
~

Gambling with small amounts is what I think the best thing a gambler can do. You should not count on winning something big, because whatever your skills are, really big wins depend on luck even in sports betting, even in poker, let alone in cases like in the article from your post where in most cases it was 100% luck.
but the problem here is that we are not use to let go of losing small amount as we keep seeking for win as long as we have money , specially when losing ? there is no way that we will stop if we are not doing everything to chase our losses but this is not right because the more we chase is the more we increase our losses .

I see no problem here. Would you "chase your losses" if you spent $5 on a cappuccino? You would just move on, wouldn't you? Same with gambling. Want to relax? Go to your favourite gambling site. Spend several bucks, or whatever you can afford to lose. Have your fun. GTFO of there. Smiley
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 28, 2022, 11:04:46 AM
If gambling didn’t bring some good health benefits at times, there would be no one ever playing. Just being in the thrill of a game with money on the line, even just a little can go a long ways for someone’s entertainment value. That’s makes a difference on your overall health. Of course all done in moderation.

True. It's a fact that negative emotions can weaken your overall health. Even your immune system is affected by stress big time. If done in moderation, each session of gambling can be improving your mood, thus making you healthier. And if you are less stressed, you can work better, so you can improve your financial situation too.
2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finland sold 1,900 BTC, for a good cause on: July 28, 2022, 10:12:51 AM
It's good to see a super positive use of bitcoin. Especially when various countries are seeing bitcoin under a negative light due to its usage in money laundering or dark web, it's a refreshing news that a huge amount of bitcoin will be used in humanitarian aid.

It's so very kind of Finland to extend their support towards Ukraine in such a positive way. Good thing should receive good publicity and praises.

As a bitcoiner, I don't see selling, especially selling in a bear market, as a positive use of bitcoin.

A better way would be to put it on auction. If they really wanted donate it, they could've sent in its original form, instead of feeding it to centralized exchanges.

As someone living in Ukraine right now, I disagree. We need money now. We need ammo now. We can't wait until BTC goes higher in price and then sell it. Not in our situation.

So, regarding the topic I can say only one thing: Thank you, Finland. It's acts such as this help us to stand against Putin's army of zombies.
2956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 28, 2022, 09:49:20 AM
~
That's right. As long as the development team can work together seriously and always put the common interest first, the casino can definitely develop well and when it is released it can get the attention of many people. They can also attract investors who want to come to invest and as long as the development team can provide what is useful for investors, other investors will also invest in the project. But it is not easy to find people who are dedicated to work together on a project and that also takes time.

"Time is money." Not always, not in every situation, but in business you can say that, okay?
If you have funding, you can hire whoever you want, and they will be working together on your project as long as necessary, overtime, whatever. But if you have only your genius idea and no money, and you want to gather a team for working on the idea to profit later ... Well, that happens only in movies and among some teenagers, literal or intellect-wise.
2957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 27, 2022, 03:04:54 PM
Yes, if we lose a significant amount for us, we can't just not think about it. It will ruin our day, at the very least. And instead of relaxation we will only get more stress. Imagine, paying your money for being even more stressed. How frustrating is that! The only way to avoid such situations is limiting your potential losses per session. So that if you lose in the end, you think "Oh that's nothing. Let's just move on."
True, many times I have problems understanding those which get addicted to gambling as gambling should be something that we do in order to relax and have a good time, but those which are addicted are not having a good time at all and if anything they are suffering greatly because of their actions, and if that is the case they may as well find another activity in which they get the same suffering but save themselves all of that money they lose.

That's actually a good advice. I mean, if that activity would be a job. Not only they would save the money, they could earn good money with some boring and hard job, because normally those jobs are well paid.

I don't know, in reality, who of them addicted gamblers could take that leap, but it would be a great step on the way of self-improvement.

Luck is volatile, it's like Bitcoin, you know. One day it makes us feel sad, and the other day it makes us happy.

Today Blockchain Megaways on Roobet made me happy

because I won that ^^ from the 3rd spin. Smiley
Yep, we don't know for sure when we're lucky and hit the big multipliers, but we're know it will happen if we keep trying and be patient.
Congratulations with your winning, you're already beat the house! Grin

Haha, thanks! I did. Smiley I would argue with the "keep trying and be patient" part, though. That would be a great advice regarding work or studying, but not for playing slots where your final result doesn't depend on your patience, like, at all.

Guys, it's less than 5 days left till the end of the Roobet.com | Art Contest "Summer '22".

Fair point, This is what makes people push to place on bet with a higher odds because sure win matches doesn’t gave them enough profit that worth it to the risk involved. Bookmaker is pretty smart to get an easy profit. In my case, I usually bet on matches that in between 1.5 to 1.8 odds to the team that I know that has a potential of winning. Bookmaker is very fair on matches that have this kind of odds because the 2 sides has no clear dominant winning factor.

I understand your strategy, and I think it's a good one, especially when you know a bit better than others which team is more likely to win. I prefer the 2.0 to 4.5 range, because higher potential multipliers is what makes betting more entertaining(for me), but I don't want to bet with higher than 4.5x because, unlike in dice where even 99x is not that rare, in sports betting it means you are going to lose almost certainly.
