2941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting too emotional while trading crypto on: September 28, 2019, 10:46:50 AM
I have switched to crypto bot trading and just monitoring the process and make some adjustments from time to time. I think nowadays it is impossible to daytrade manually and stay good-tempered.

Surely, the bot will be a great help here, but you should not always rely on them. Day trading is always a stress, so, probably, it is better to change the strategy and get involved in holding, choosing the most promising cryptos. However, even here, the stress cannot be avoided, especially when you get up in the morning and see that your tokens and BTC lost at least 15% of their price.
When it comes to level of stress then I would say day trading would really have much more yet you are engage on an active state of buy and sell on minimal margins unlike on having a simple hold for future gains without stressing too much on trading activity.

Yes,stress cant be avoided that's why you should know how to handle up your emotions and discipline out carefully on every actions you made because
one false move it would surely cost you.
A good time management and money management would surely help you decrease the chance of getting mad and emotional ... that's what I experienced so far, I had told this a lot of times by the way .

And Sometimes you'll think that the right timing alone is the key in trading but yeah in that 'timing' there's a lot of process called analysis .. which I guess mostly missed that point leading to a consecutive losses.. frustration.. making another deposit aaand that's the circle of getting too emotional to make money quickly through trading which it's not right.

Everyone should get used to have some bad day losing in trading.
2942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 28, 2019, 08:19:42 AM
^  I wasn't aware you could get a price by getting three correct tbh.  I thought there were only 5 and 6 besides the jackpot (7):  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=774929.msg52110042#msg52110042

If nothing else works, I guess a quick solution would be to go to the nearest coffee shop and use their wifi.  Lol.
There were only 5, 6 and 7. Btw thanks for the information about the fortunejack premier league promotion, damn i don't know about this until this week 7.

I believe Pukki from norwich city will make goals again against crystal palace in this week. Also a big match Man United vs Arsenal.
Pukki this guy is on beast mode! Can't stop scoring against big clubs like liverpool, chelsea and Manchester city ... but if you look at the last 4 matches which 3 of them a mediocre/ small clubs like west ham, Crawley and Burnley... he failed to score and the team lost the game.

Is the hype stopped already now? Let's see ... I don't like putting a bet on goal scorer side , but it seems people getting attracted these days especially when fj holding an event to predict the goal scorers.

Liverpool away to win both halves so do with Manchester city to win both halves make it parlay looks interesting to me .
2943  Economy / Economics / Re: The Latest Crypto Price Dip Is Fueled By Fake News Relating to Quantum Computers on: September 27, 2019, 06:26:28 PM
I dont know why the dump is attached to so much tales. The dump was predicted just that we dont always want to accept it. google, Bakkt or no bakkt the dump was expected, we are only disappointed in the influence of the bakkt launch to the price. Sadly we could see it deeper towards 6-7k in coming weeks before see any pump. As if we are not at used to it, there have been worse news than the google hack and the rest when it want to rise. When bull is pulling the price no news can stop it
Most of the time when a dip happens after a long period of the price rising steadily, people become shell shocked and try to find any way that they can explain it whereas there isn't really any explanation at all. Crypto prices rises and dips, it's been happening for a long time. There is no conspiracy involved.
Someone never said a truer word , everyone would looking for reasons... how this could happened , what causing it etc the cryptocurrency free market is inevitable to get crashed or skyrocketed within few days even hours , if you can't take benefit of it then you might on the other side of streets in other words you are in big trouble.

But yeah still we can't deny the fact that fundamentals such as a huge news involved bitcoin project / cryptocurrency project expected to have significant impact which these days people relying on bakkt future trading but in the end things went against them.

Now here we are confused even doing a panic selling over and over again every day I guess

This is just normal ... people forgot to anticipate this coming .

I was sure that Torino and Milan will finish with a draw, it was close, but after the red card, Torino had to take all the chances to score one more

Everyone missed the old Ac milan who dominates europe for long time , the current Ac Milan era is the worst I ever have seen in decade (actually getting better with piatek arrival) , not sure what's wrong with them .. it seems every match they are not favorites even against small teams like cesena.

Clearly the head to head against Torino in the last 4 match shows ac Milan is fucked up with two lost and two draw , so I have predicted and not surprised at all if they continuing the lost trends ... I will follow ac milan to always bet against them , they had a really good odds that I think it's +EV  Grin.

We need more big teams with mentality just like ac milan in series A.
Most teams go through a rebuilding phase when their great players leave the club but when it comes to AC Milan,  I think their restructuring has gone on for far too long and with the players currently playing at the club, it's no wonder they are still struggling and they will keep struggling if they don't get plan on how to go about the whole thing.
They would remain considered as a mediocre clubs indeed .. some people think that the current management is the reason behind how the club rebuilding process seems stuck , I tend to agree with this opinion .. I was actually ac milan fan boy back in the days when maldini still there.

Things become more and more worse day by day for them , they need to sign a star players such as andrea belotti or at least Jan vertonghen which actually they urgently needed a world class defender , ac milan always sign an average players ... that's why they play in average style.

However the next game .. ac milan would face Fiorentina at san siro , I wish they could get up to grab full points ... but my bet on fiorentina moneyline ... it's quite interesting @3.3  Grin
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Guaranteed Winnings In Sports Betting ! Make Tons Of Cash $$$ Betting Online on: September 27, 2019, 04:31:21 PM
If you're too sure to make a person, win in sports betting by availing your offer, why don't you just play for your own using your own money instead of paying them double when they lose? Instead of only getting half of other's win, you could take all by using your own money.

Most people here probably wouldn't believe in this kind of tactics. So I guess, try harder and better luck next time.
This is a classic way to make money out of random picks ... once they lucky enough to predict most of the picks ... they would ask you for some fee to get in their premium picks group which it's pretty attractive for a newcomer who know nothing that this is a shady business.

I know some people might aware about this , still there's always someone who wondering or desperate to win bets by using/ relying on this , a bit ironic.

We have marked a warning here by making these posts , now it's up to you guys. Don't fall to this cheap tricks ... even it's free. No offense op , you're doing something wrong now that's why.
2946  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN | SPORTS & CASINO | #1 FOR IN-PLAY BETTING on: September 27, 2019, 03:39:35 PM
This is not right because if you do win something (atleast a large win of 1btc) then they can ask you to verify your account with them using kyc/aml procedure as any other online casino would do normally anything over $10kusd.
At this point they can deny paying you out your winnings saying you are not in the proper jurisdiction to be able to use their site.
Bad for the player in this case but good for them since it is in their rules on the site. It is just a horrible thing for a sportsbook site to do towards their customer in taking their money in this case bitcoin knowing they shouldnt of allowed you to use their site in the first place.
I have not heard too many good things about jetwin from many sources in the past and didnt think they still operated until seeing this thread bumped up by the post above.
This kind procedure is a bit fishy to me , they as a bookmaker who holding our money could always rejecting the withdrawal request for that reason as you mentioned, I have seen a lot of cases like this and it's annoying.

I still giving a shot on jetwin for one or two bets due I can't find any offers on other bitcoin sportsbook , that's okay ... giving a shot for small amount just to make sure everything is fine over here.

My latest problem on jetwin is that their withdrawal  system often runs manually even I try to withdraw a couple bucks only and also I don't quite understand about the betting limits,  sometimes I only be able placing bet 10$ max , what the fff?

Kindly follow up this feedback jetwin.
2947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: September 27, 2019, 11:10:21 AM
For some reason, my friends always say that daily trading carries a much greater risk than trading for a longer period and there is no free time because of this.  In addition, I want to pay tribute that it is day trading that gives the best income, but will have to take more risks.  I have not tried using day trading yet, but I want to learn and gain some experience using YouTube video examples.

Risk is everywhere, be it day trading or long term trading. One benefit of day trading is, it has small SL whereas long term trading has bigger SL, the same goes for TP. Day trading is more stressful but have more setup to trade whereas long term trading is less stressful but it has few setups, you may find setup once in many days.
If you are thinking to go for day trading, I have one suggestion for you, always trade in the direction of higher TF, you will have more successful trades than failed trades.

If you never fail then you are too perfect for human being lol , a failure is a must ... so you can learn from what you have experienced that causing you failed , that's the formula to make anything successful smoothly.

First of all you need to learn :

- about money management
- about emotion management

Besides the technical factors that it is a must for a day trader. You need to take a break after monitoring the charts all day long or a couple hours straight.. it has a huge impact on your making decision psychology.

Edit 5: Final update

The issue was recognized by the Fortunejack yesterday. Today around 11:45 UTC a new update was pushed
Hence the off-by-one error resolved.
Screenshot of the confirmation: https://imgur.com/a/mgH5Pzo
I checked the roll numbers and everything looks perfect.

Some high volume players could have been seriously adversely affected by this.

Has Fortunejack mentioned how they plan to reimburse anybody that has had their money stolen in this way?
Naa ahhh , this gonna be a long journey for them to completely reimburse everyone who affected since this bug indicated was there since day one.

Wondering how much fortunejack pay op for this finding ....  Roll Eyes a long time ago I reported similar technical problems and received my bug rewards quite huge. At op case level it must be super huge rewards  Grin . PM me op if you wonder how much I've got. I'll tell you mine.

However sometimes if you didn't ask for the bounty rewards.. you'll be considered help them voluntarily which I hated that part unfortunately.
2950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 26, 2019, 08:20:37 PM
Wow. 5th, 6th, 7th and 10th in EPL all dropped out.

To be fair, Liverpool also got knocked out at this stage twice recently but then we had to meet EPL opponents... so that appears to again be the case with Arsenal our next meet (but to be fair I prefer meeting Arsenal than League One opponents).

@leea you're right, if we play the kids again, we're no longer an outright favourite. Loved our forwards, if slightly disappointed in Brewster... but we gave away a lot of chances.
This carabao cup is completely unpredictable... I mean a big teams like liverpool, chelsea, arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester city could use the second squad or even third squad for this competition in case there's more important game shceduled on a bigger stage like champions league, EPL or FA cup.

That's why betting on a superhigh odds championship clubs, league 1 even league two to win this tournament become more exciting  Grin.

So far the bookies still put Manchester city as a favorite along with liverpool who superbly unbeaten this season.

2952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading crypto independently considered a business? on: September 25, 2019, 10:23:33 AM
You can think of that way-a business! You can threat it as your business where you get your daily/ monthly income. You take care of it, sorting out problems, writing up a plan to become successful, no boss and you can manage your time.

But for me, rather than business, I consider it as a job because we all know that business needs consumers while trading is a different thing.
No as long as you are work for yourself and not involving anybody also have no benefit to other person ... i think it's just a self employment ... it is money that make you on the job.

your earnings are not considered to be earned income at some point you don't have to pay any tax.

Unless if you are a broker who managing other people money ... then it's a business.
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regret In Changing A Bet Have You Experienced on: September 25, 2019, 09:18:40 AM
If my memory serves me right, I have not experienced any regrets due to quick shifting of bets. Perhaps the most regrets that I made are with handicaps or the bet amount. I normally chase higher odds and therefore risk on high handicaps. And sometimes I bet big on them rather than on a match with a more or less fair handicap. But these are not really regrets to the point of not forgetting and being disappointed about them for a few days.
You should not feel regret , otherwise bad things will come after you. How? You'll try to recover what you think it as a loss which I'm sure it won't be a happy ending but a more sadder and regret feeling.

Believe me I've been through that kind bad memories several times and now I've gained my experience to not doing that anymore.

Gambling should be done responsibly, you need to go home straight after your huge / streak losses, take some time to make a comeback and those regrets won't be your nightmare.
2954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: September 22, 2019, 06:23:30 AM
As one who personally enjoys working from home, these statistics are troubling. I am looking become a day trader. I do have somw background knowledge from 'unprofitably' trading the forex markets. I'm hoping my story with crypto-trading would be different.

You can still be a day trader and work from home while incooperating other work or skill.
It's not advisable to depend on only cryptocurrency trading whether day trading or any other.
Even the best trader still need to add in any other job to have a stable living since you again sometimes and loss sometimes.
You can be a full time trader and investment as your otherside income .. with that scenario you might will have a plan B in case your day trading in trouble such as having a huge streak loss, make a living through trading alone is something that take a courage, a bit risky but once again the outcome at some point that risk would paid off.

I insist that day trading for a living is something not impossible, you just need to work hard to become that the rest of 97% who loss ... to become the 3% ... a special one who successfully make a living through trading based on that research.

I just love to challenge myself rather than living in a comfort and flat zone.

they say two is better than one so yes  .having two or more other source of income is good but not really adviceable only if you already have a stable career ( not trading or day trading ) because those jobs are risky or not stable at all   . you can say that you are good at trading or you are a good trader but you dont controll the market . @EdenHazard  , where did you get that statistics ?  97 percent are looser and only 3 percent are profiting  ? the number is unbalanced  . trading is hard but there are still possible earners  , i think they are over 40 to 50 percent of them   .
You might look at the op's post .. clearly based on his source it is mentioned.

Of course It's always not advisable when it comes to taking such risk to go full time trading while you have a steady income (work for someone's else wealth for me is against my principle of financial freedom  Grin ) , it's your life and the choice is yours anyway ...

There's no easy way to achieve any kind success unless you are lucky enough which you can't expect anything about that lucky factor , so get your ass up and work / learn harder !

Once again I would say that a day trading for a living is not something impossible,  it is not a myth ... you just need to beat that numbers of '3%' mentioned by op.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 22, 2019, 04:22:09 AM
To be honest, this is my first time seeing a team with over 70% possession register less than 10% chances in a match[1].

That being said, Barca didn't defend really well. The first goal happened after they lost possession on their defense area, not enough cover to mark Granada forwards. It's a 3v2 situation and one of the attackers is free. Barca's left their right side free, while the midfield ran slowly to cover the CB. A bit of luck might play on Granada's goal but that's deserved.

Another note for Barca is that Ter Stegen made a really bad save, and might as well become a goal. It's overall a bad day for Barcelona.

[1] https://understat.com/match/12065
I even think just because of that posession game they are lost , it's been practiced in the last few years by a team like Barcelona and real Madrid which the oppositions have learned a lot how to counter that kind game style.

Just look at how Barcelona and real Madrid recently getting losses ... both mostly conceded with a simple real quick counter attack. Easy.

I always against the odds but this time unfortunately didn't anticipated this coming ... you guys could get @8.3 odds for Granada to win. Hell I put my money while Barcelona left 0-1 behind with a low odds around @2.1 in hope they could make it a draw or a comeback at least , it's just wasted away.

Another unlucky day for me , I'm sick and sucks these weeks.

It's naturally tiring to play and play the same game unless you are getting paid for it because it can be considered as work. We all had those times for sure, and it's just wired to our genes. Right now, I'm enjoying the slot machine game with MintDice, and I currently had my balance there multiplied by two, but unfortunately, I had a greediness moment with it, reverting to my original balance. It's sad.
Slot machines, card games such as blackjack baccarat poker , roulette,  dicing games etc is the same game that everyone played time after time ... some people need more than those games , an extraordinary one to refresh their brains from the stress.

Some people here mentioned rocketrun as a genuinely fun game .. we have seen such a typical game like ( moneypot in the past and rocketpot recently) fun enough to looking for luck betting 1mbtc randomly and expecting like 999× or at rocketpot there's a potential for you to win up to 5000x plus a jackpot for now it's nearly 1 bitcoin and haven't claimed yet! Go get them.

I've played bitkong long time ago ... you can check them out I think that's what you looking for.

2957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: September 20, 2019, 05:55:41 PM
You cannot do away with crypto trading when you are talking about stock. Crypto affect stock a lot for now as money is being moved to and fro of the two. With your technical background, you need to be well-grounded with what is happening in the crypto space to know the time when to pause, continue or quit.
Couldn't agree more, your technical analysis might missing something,  some formulas like ... you didn't combine it with the fundamentals.

Still it's a tough work for everyone who looking for a steady profit daily , at some point you will have to accept the losses due sometimes the downtrend last for long time and you'll never get your profit everyday, you should aware about this.

That's why you feel failed,  keep doing that but you need to expect nothing but a long term profit accumulated instead expecting a repeated profit daily , it would only make you stressed out.
2958  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Going to my first meetup on: September 20, 2019, 05:14:21 AM
I've had my first ever Blockchain meetup in the magical city Mumbai in 2018 where I met a lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts and even entrepreneurs who were looking to learn more about this technology and few of the Big Business Representatives were also looking for an experienced expert to work with them and help them understand this subject even better and they also wanted to know how they can merge blockchain with their businesses to get out of their current hassles. All in all, it was a great learning experience where they didn't specifically focus on a single thing but included every aspect of Blockchain and cryptocurrencies well presented chapter-wise (I mean topic-by-topic) to make everything easier to be understood by those available there.
What i like about Blockchain meetup is about how the networking provide you so much opportunities ... I mean you'll get a lot of new contacts , get you a business opportunity, connect you with potential business partners and gather your ideas into a real working project.

When Investors, traders, programmers/developers, businessman gather around at the same place/forum with the same vision... a real product invented easily rather than keeping your idea by yourself , do everything by yourself... it won't work.

I have attended several blockchain meetup since 2014 ago , besides level up your knowledge... you'll be know as an early adopter and everyone around you start recognized you as a blockchain guru lol , I still on my way leveling up and yet dumb about how the technical stuff works.

I'll probably parlay a couple of these teams to win tomorrow as well as some underdogs (maybe Cluj to win vs Lazio?).
Oh boy, that feeling that you get when you predicted the right outcome but didn't place any bets  Roll Eyes  Does anyone remember the odds for Cluj? How much did i miss on this one?

Congrats on the win! Looks like you're better off with single bets  Grin

'buwaytress and his underdog picks winning games'...name a more iconic better duo LOL

The market offers a pre-match bet for cluj to win against Lazio @4.3 and I think I see almost double price for cluj to win when they left behind at 25' to lazio @6 ,or @7 I guess , quite shocking that cluj successfully make a comeback even they are under pressure in the entire game.

But yeah we can see that cluj counter attack is pretty effective, they didn't wasting chances by having 2 shots on goal and converted both to become two goals.

Another unexpected result come from moenchengladbach who lost at home to wolfsberger an Austrian club hammered gladbach 0-4  Shocked , guess how much the odds of away team to win? It's @8.5 !
Handicap -2.5 or -3.5 ? Idk ... it must be crazy high!!!
