Lotto- http://www.bitlotto.com/ - min bet 0.25 btc - I have not tried myself, but browsing these forums you will see several members who won.
The nice thing about BitLotto is on http://www.bitlotto.com/addresses.html it will show all the past winners. Using Blockexplorer you can check all the results to verify the who won and see that every winner had the funds go to the winner's address. Even if no one ever admitted winning you can prove that the winner did get the funds.
|
*Next Draw Feb 1* BitLotto: monthly raffle (0.25 BTC per ticket) Completely transparent and impossible to manipulate who wins. TOR TOR2WEB Donations to: 1JQdiQsjhV2uJ4Y8HFtdqteJsZhv835a8J are appreciated.

lol...every single site listed is older and smaller than BTCSportsBet.com. If you are going to make a list like this, at least do a little research. It has been around since Jan 2011 and handles thousands of BTC a month - everyone has been paid of course.

Seals is very newbie friendly. Freerolls (prize awarded but no charge to play) every hour on the hour and cheap tournament runs on every half hour usually with 10-20 players.
Today at 4pm ET is a 100BTC guaranteed prize pool tournament too btw.

added bitjack (confirmed) added backcoin (confirmed)
added dream island lottery (pending)
over 48h now and now and no response from betcoin.eu - it will be shifted to POSSIBLE SCAMS in another 48h.
I see there are a lot of ponzi and pyramid games running around, I feel they should not be part of a newbie list as by their nature they are scams - thoughts ?

I'm not quite sure what kind of criteria you are using. Your choices are possible scam or mathematically proven? For example http://betcoin.eu has been around a while. I imagine maybe the operator got bored and just let it run on it's own. Who knows, maybe he'll be back in this forum again (I think it's been a while since he signed on). But is it a possible scam? It's possible. Likely? Who knows. I guess that get's at my question about the criteria. I know exactly how to make a program that works exactly like http://betcoin.eu but can give fake payouts to me every so often. That doesn't make http://betcoin.eu a scam though. But proven? I think only a few games here can be demonstrated to be cheat proof. Bitcoin-Kamikaze.com, https://bitjack21.com/, and mine are the few that I can think of off the top of my head that fit such category. *I'm biased* but "dream island lottery" is probably an unknown. They are missing many important points. How the winner is picked in a fair way for example. They also seem to say to just send BTC without any mention of ewallets or anything.

I'm not quite sure what kind of criteria you are using. Your choices are possible scam or mathematically proven? Criteria is listed below, if you have a better category title for "other" games than other atm Im open to suggestions. Normal List:* mathematically proven. * PVP * other (can be anything provided you do not have payout issues or disputes of cheating). to be considered a possible scam:* Payout issues - yes even one. * Questions raised about randomness that have not been sufficiently disproved. Even though unconfirmed, it would be a bad idea to direct newbies to these sites until we can confirm. to be considered a scam:* Multiple payout issues. * Game proven to cheat. You dont pay ?, f**k you. Someone bets 5btc and does not get paid but another user gets paid on their 0.05 btc bet ? f**k you. Id rather err on the side of caution when refering people instead of erring on the side of not hurting potential scam artists feelings. if betcoin.eu is unattended and failing to pay out periodically due to lack of administration then it is a scam as far as the end user is concerned. Certainly not by malicious intent, but a scam none the less and end users should be warned.

Agreed and should the owner contact me and resolve the ~12-15 outstanding payments I am owed, fix the game and if we see 1-2 weeks of no complaints then it should be removed from the scam list and returned to the main list. Think of it as me putting an " Out of Order !" sign on a vending machine so the next person hoping to get a nice cold coke doesnt get ripped off.

Hi Mem, I'm the owner of StrikeSapphire and also a standing member of the forum. We've been running since July, 2011. To clarify, as our accounts are denominated in USD once Bitcoins are deposited, our minimum bets are: $0.01 on Roulette, $0.02/0.04 in Poker, $0.05 in most slots and video poker games, and $0.10 in Craps. Also, as far as mathematical verification -- if you mean full-blown auditing and certification as done by eCOGRA, or similar, then to my knowledge there is no currently operating Bitcoin casino which has gone through this (very expensive) process yet. However, we're the only casino we know of to publish every single hand of cards dealt, every roulette spin and craps roll, daily. It's available at https://strikesapphire.com/reports/ . We've also made more in-depth data available to Jacobson Gaming, who (though not a full audit) has confirmed the results to be fair and random. See this thread at Casinomeister for a lot more info: http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/casino-complaints-non-bonus-issues/46964-possible-issue-blr-tech-casinos-craps-software-8.htmlMoreover, we have lots of happy players around the forums who you can ask about our service. Our total return to player, since opening (including bonuses and freerolls) is a whopping 99.6% ! So, I hope you'll consider modifying our entry in the list to reflect that we *are* an awesome place to play... and I left one thing out: You should note that we're not open to players in the US. We get lots of complaints about it, but while we're based in Costa Rica, we comply with American law.

I'm not sure if there is anything that prevents them from sharing the secret. They could be playing themselves or sharing the secret. (I'm not saying they are but it doesn't appear to be as cheat proof as it appears at first glance) There site says: "We don't release them right away, since they could be used to submit selective transactions and win bets unfairly." They know the secret and that in itself is a risk. Even if it is a small one.
