2941  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Help Fight the Fake-Covid-19 Pandemic With Your Guns! on: April 25, 2020, 12:05:06 PM
also an idiot that owns 10 guns 'for self defense' but only has 2 hands to only hold a max of 2 guns needs to learn the maths that 2 guns are more than enough
Wrong. You need guns in every room to be able to efficiently defend yourself. And don't forget about that one extra hidden in the drawer.

But really, owning different types of guns allows you to practise. Who knows what you'll find on the battlefield and be forced to use.
2942  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK may have to enforce social restrictions for an entire year due to Covid19 on: April 25, 2020, 11:48:20 AM
I didn't bother to open the links, as both the BBC and The Guardian promote globalist ideals with false reports, and they support the big pharma companies.

I suspect that the lock down is easing off now. I've been told by the police that I am allowed to swim in the sea, as long as I do it on my own. Also I believe that Burger King and a couple of other restaurant chain are likely to reopen soon. The gov has also said that it will be producing some guidelines for restaurants to allow them to reopen, these will include wider spaces between tables. Supermarkets are starting to remove purchase restrictions as well.

i hope entire football league in europe dies off due to corona, we have more important stuff to fix, in europe

What about bread and circuses? We need some distraction to keep the suicide rates down. Wink
2943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin spread rapidly on ‘China Twitter’ the price will rise before halving on: April 25, 2020, 11:35:08 AM
The whole community will be responsible for bitcoin price increase either before halving or after halving, which case, bitcoin is up already. China won't be responsible for bitcoin rise. Mind you, the Chinese are well informed and are in the knowing about the bitcoin market.

It depends how you look at things. As a long term holder I watch months not days, so to me Bitcoin is barely back at the level it held in December and January. It's really nothing special and I wouldn't say it's up in halving terms. If it could reach more than 10k USD a year before the halving, it should at the very least be there now.
If we don't see 10k in the next 3 months it will mean Bitcoin is underperforming, but it's to be expected with all the shit that's going on in the world right now.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: April 25, 2020, 11:22:17 AM
I find claiming so called crypto dividends the easiest and safest way of getting more BTC. In short it goes like this:
You look for airdrops, forks, giveaways, aimed at Bitcoin holders. In the last few years I've claimed BCH, BSV, XLM, BTG, BCA, and many more. I don't know if these will keep coming as frequently as they iused to in 2016-18, but you're not taking a risk by participating and profits can be huge. I believe I got 50% increase in my BTC holdings by converting BCH and BSV.
2945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who own top 10 addresses on: April 25, 2020, 11:12:10 AM
As you can see addresses nr 3 and 4 are not tagged but have very recent transactions so these are also cold wallets of some exchanges. We can assume that since there's no coinbase or bitstamp address in that group they could beloing to those companies.

I'd say that every address containing more than 10k BTC (not counting Satoshi's coins) belongs to an exchange.

2947  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comeback is real. on: April 19, 2020, 01:01:53 PM
I just want to ask for some advice from the experts here in the industry. First, do I need to study different technical analysis? Will it be helpful once I'm into trading cryptocurrency?

Second, do you know some famous crypto fanatics whose giving some good tips about crypto trading which I can follow and learn from?

Lastly, what do you think are the good coins now to look forward to. I can see on the chart that there are lots of new coins in the top compared to what I knew way back few years ago.

First, I'd advise you to first pick the indicators that you trust. There's a number of them and some people base their predictions on fibs, harmonic patterns, drawing flags, simple averages, and many other. You just can't follow all of them because they will make the image much more blurry.

There's a number of youtubers with a lot of followers like Alessio Rastani and Tone Vays. The problem with them is that they are often wrong.
Definitely don't folow Tom Lee Wink

I only care about Bitcoin. If you don't have Bitcoin you should get some before you get into altcoins.
2948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays channel deleted from youtube on: April 19, 2020, 12:32:03 PM
I wonder if he had comments disabled as crypto videos are full of scams in the comments.

Maybe it's going off that as well.

90% of youtube videos don't have comments disabled. We cannot be responsible for other people's comments. If that was the reason why his channel got deleted it's still youtube's fault. If they don't like some comments they should ban people who post these, not the creator of the video.
2949  Other / Politics & Society / Re: coronavirus is "racist" and disproportionally kills nonwhite people on: April 19, 2020, 12:21:49 PM
I read that there's much more covid cases in the black communities in the US. IMO the reason for that is the statistics coming from China to the US that black people were reading and later gossiping about. The news was that when the virus was killing people in China, no black people have died, which created a gossip that black people are immune, so they were more careless and conued all their social gatherings, parties, church mases and so on. Lack of basic hygene is also a contributing factor.
2950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You have 3 choices... on: April 19, 2020, 11:26:40 AM
I understand more and more that it is not logical to live in a big city. Because in this case, you are dependent on work, shops, water supply, electricity, etc.
If a person lives on his own land, then he does not have any problems with this, because he can generally live completely autonomously (if he is well prepared).
No epidemics or economic problems for such a person will be a hindrance.

I came to the same conclusion years ago. I used to live in a downtown apartment with my parents, then alone in my own, on the outskirts, then I moved to a bigger city and lived there for a few years, then to an even bigger city, a huge multicultural capital. I didn't feel well in any of these places. Finally, I've decided to move to a small country town, got my own land and a house. I can tell you that nothing compares to living here, far from any noises, smells and stuff. People who live in the city can't imagine how it's like when you don't hear a police sirens and car engines for days straight and don't have to talk to anyone at all.
2951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 is almost here, are you ready? on: April 19, 2020, 11:16:22 AM
I'm pretty much ready, just as I've been ready the last time it happened. I'm also ready for a fall should that occur. It's not like I need to buy something with my coins here and now.
I'm pretty sure that the price of 6k dollars is too low right now and we should be around 10k. That's good news for those scared cats out there, but also bad news for poeople who think we'll go to 50k after the halving. Bitcoin has a potential for 200k+ price, but not yet.
2952  Economy / Economics / Re: US potential Recession and its effect on Cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2020, 11:05:21 AM
With no money people start to sell their crypto asset so probably the price will go down like a hurricane till a certain point.

There will be a lot of money, more than there is now. That's how countries counter recession - they print.
People don't sell their investments because they have no money. They sell investments because they see everything lose value and jump from one form of wealth allocation to the other in hope that they will do better holding cash than shares of a company that may go bankrupt.
2953  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus: International Updates on: April 15, 2020, 10:51:35 AM
Corona deaths statistics are greatly exaggerated. I've read an opinion by an epidemiologist from Oxford and said that half of the people in the UK already have the virus and don't even know it. There's no need to extend lockdowns and spread panic because the virus has been circulating in many countries for weeks before the first cases were reported.
There's also another important thing that you should take into account. Those statistics include all dead people who tested positive and died. It doesn't matter if they had last stage cancer at the time or were 90 years old, or were lying on intensive care prior to contracting the virus. If they tested positive and died, they're on the list, regardless of the cause of death.
2954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Conclusions of CoinDesk's First Quater 2020 Report on: April 15, 2020, 10:27:17 AM
Quote
⁃ The number of BTC whales (who have more than 1000BTC in their wallets) did not decrease on March 12, which indicates that the sell-off probably was not concentrated among the largest holders of long positions of the bitcoin.
that is completely wrong because we have no way of counting the number of whales in bitcoin. addresses that have a certain amount of bitcoin do NOT represent whales.

If the number of 100+ wallets remained the same, it would suggest that if the coins were being exchanged it was not done on the markets but rather through OTC trading.
This means that big whales were not adding fuel to the fire during this crash.
It's a well known fact that the market price does not represent the real value of Bitcoin, simply because only a few percent of the supply is being traded. In other words, most Bitcoin owners do not trade and a lot of it is wash trading where the same people buy and sell the same coins over and over. I'm not a big holder, but the coins I got in 15 are still on my wallet and have not been traded at all. The majority of Bitoin owners do not actively trade.
2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Not To Sell BTC On Crypto ATM! on: April 15, 2020, 10:03:33 AM
I'm not sure that ATM is as popular as you say.

Those ATMs that are still anonymous are popular but I've seen ATMs that scan your ID. That I wouldn't use, ever.
As for the video, I also remember it being posted. It was a malfunction, it shouldn't spit like that, but still coming to an ATM to exchange 100k EUR or GBP because if I remember correctly it happened in London, is a dumb idea. Even if it worked fine you're still going to be seen packing piles of cash into a bag in a busy place.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 14, 2020, 05:26:36 PM
Just like what most people say, government regulated investments are most likely legit. Compare stock market with crypto currencies. How many developers and scammers did hit and run? How many coins/tokens turned into a scam compared to government regulated stocks?

What does it mean "legit"? Legal? Of course they are going to be legal because the legal system is controlled by the governmen. The problem begins when they change the law to make their manipulations legal. They can do it and they will do it. The US Government unpegged the Dollar from gold. What makes you think they cannot go further and ban cash one day?
Introducing negative interest rates is one of the most common manipulations by governments.
2957  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The 2017-2018 Flu Killed 80,000 Americans, But No Hysteria or Shutdown on: April 14, 2020, 05:13:21 PM
the sooner they relax lockdown. the higher the number gets.
do you get that

However high it gets it's still not going to be high enough to go crazy with shutdowns like they are doing. Just compare the deaths  from covid to some other statistics like:
-deaths from cancer
-lethat traffic accidents
-number of flu cases each year

You'll see that this so called pandemic isn't as bad as they're painting it.
2958  Other / Politics & Society / Re: consequences of covid-19 on: April 14, 2020, 04:52:33 PM
According to the IMF we've been hit by the greatest recession since 2009, so the economy will remain impaired for a long time. If I were to speculate I'd say another year. Many bigger countries will recover by printing money like crazy, but slow countries won't be able to print like that so it's either debt or bankruptcy and currency reset for them.
2959  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I woke up to see a very disturbing twitter trend from the Asian country India. on: April 14, 2020, 04:43:08 PM
I'm not really taken by surprise here. People in India don't like Muslims. You can see that on many videos when they talk about people from Pakistan, but who can blame them for this attitude? I sure would not because I've also read artricles about children from India being abducted and converted to Islam, especially from towns and villages near the border with Pakistan. There's a lot of animosity here that isn't going to disappear just like that.
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 12, 2020, 02:42:37 PM
I would say gold would do better simply because it is less affected by the economy as a whole as gold will always be valuable. Such as in computer parts or astronaut suits or what not.

You're saying this because it used to be less affected. The history shouldn't be used to predict the future. It's like saying that your father is a great drivetr that will not have an accident because for the last 20 years he had none. You can never be sure!
A seafe bet would be to have some BTC (because of the coming halving that used to have a very positive influence on the price) and some gold because it doesn't depend on electricity and the Internet.
