You're right... Chandler doesn't really use his wrestling as his primary mode of attack. But the thing is you know it's there ready to be used. And if all else fails in the striking, I think any fighter who can't compete in a striking battle vs Fiziev will have to resort to their wrestling skills. RDA did but he wasn't good enough. But Chandler? He's D1 wrestler so I think he could take Fiziev down easier than RDA did. Dunno, that's how I see it happening in my head.

Hmm. I agree that Sebastian Haller is a really great player. I was already a big fan of him, when he was still playing for Eintracht Frankfurt because even back then it was already obvious that he is extremely talented and a very efficient striker. That being said Erling Haaland was also a great striker there is no doubt about that and therefore Dortmund did definitely not increase their quality in that position. The transfers of Niklas Süle and Schlotterbeck are definitely great transfer and should give Dortmund more stability in the defense.
With the transfer of Mane and possibly De Ligt i still think though that Bayern was able to make bigger transfers this summer. So i don't think that Dortmund will be closer next season.

If they fight, Fiziev, as a master of Myai Thai, will try counter every take down attempt with knee, and with his reflexes and speed, this knee will end their fight. Yes, women's boxing existed already many many years ago. And they also have their own superstars that are also more popular than most champions in men's boxing. The current biggest networks are DAZN, PBC (thru Showtime, Fox), and ESPN. DAZN got Katie Taylor and ESPN got Mikaela Mayer as main event fighters. I'm going to review some more tape on the less familiar fighters, for my predictions, and will likely post them on Friday to avoid any late cancellations. Although, we had a cancellation a few hours before last weekend due to what I believe was a stomach virus.
Those cancellations are very frustrating indeed, that is why I didn't post my picks early on and waited until late Saturday, after the fight and so I could also see the near odds before the fight, and to mostly avoid canceled fights aswell, Brian Ortega is the favorite to win, likely Yair Rodriguez could win this if he can push those kicks for Ortega to be pressured and hang on and wait for Ortega's takedowns, to move away and kick keeping up his score this could be boring for his fans, but I think this will keep Ortega's Grappling out of the way because for this fight Ortega is very well-rounded, he knows the most basic Jui-Jitsu ever known to a fighter, but choosing from both Ortega or Rodriguez to have a huge chance for Volkanovski I'd say Brian Ortega is pretty much close,
I am going against you once again, and I think there is more value betting on Yair Rodriguez this time.
Both of them are very good fighters and this is going to be small All-Mexican main event, but Rodriguez has slight reach advantage.
I think he learned a lot after losing last fight with Holloway in 2021 and Ortega lost from Holloway in 2018.
I am just listening their pre fight interviews and I didn't make any final decision, but I think this fight is going to distance.
Let's say Yair Rodriguez wins via Decision against Ortega, and there is a chance that Rodriguez can surely win if he capitalizes on his advantage, and pressure Ortega by distance away from him, a very boring fight but it could do the job in winning, Then Enters Alexander Volkanovski, the next Yair will face, I don't see a glimpse of Yair Rodriguez having a chance against Volkanovski, his fight with Max Holloway was a war both fighters did their all, but Max was too accurate and on point, I think Yair facing Volkanovki will be a one-sided one, |

That is right, they have all their key players, that is why they don't be needing an all-star player anymore, but if they got Kevin Durant on the team that will surely be insane and so unfair for the other teams, I really think the Golden State Warriors could be a potential threat for the next season, their power three is healthy and ready Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, and with an addition of Jordan Poole they can make a Poole party, and a powerhouse on offense and defense Kevon Looney and Andrew Wiggins, and the return of James Wiseman, for additional defense, and their latest draft Patrick Baldwin Jr. can be a mini Kevin Durant in my opinion if trained well there is a possibility, so the Golden State Warriors will surely have a Poole Party with a PBJ (Peanut Butter and Jelly) for the next season, Irving and Durant both are leaving the team surely as it seems. They have both wanted their trades as soon as possible. Actually Irving was closer to be traded but the team made a decision and decided to give priority to Durant's trade. I have heard that Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are the teams Durant want to go now. As for Irving he has been likely to be traded with Westbrook. This deal would be great for Lakers but not much for Nets unfortunately.
Great news for the Heat if they got Durant, there can be an additional defense and offense for the team, I think the Pacers if the ones that will get Russell Westbrook and not the Nets, when the Pacers would get Deandre Ayton then they will likely be fixing the Russell Westbrook trade, so Brooklyn Nets will surely be a team with no all-star so that means they are OK with that,
Just In, after a great summer league performance Moses Moody got a bad fall, it is really frightening to see, but at least he is just OK and not badly injured, but in that fall fight there is a situation that your opponent was on a defense Moody could have an early retirement before the season starts, but yeah it was really a close call, |

That is right, there are no real thread in featherweight division for Volkanovski. He would either beat everyone for the second time (boring scenario), or he should move to other weight division (preferable scenario), or would be inactive for some period (which is not good). I really think he should try himself in Bantamweight. Alex is not tall, does not look huge. I would love to see him fighting Yan or Aldo or Sterling.
He can surely go down or up, as long as he is not in the Featherweight division, well it is ok if he goes to the Bantamweight and then snatches the belt to Sterling which Petr Yan can't simply have a grab on, but even though he is short on his height I think the Lightweight is still preferable for Volkanovski, I would love to see a Dustin Poirier, or Justin Gaethje I think the threat for Alexander Volkanovski on that division is Islam Makhachev, and the stripped champion Charles Oliveira, I have sort a feeling, that Fiziev will be thrown next on Chandler or Makhachev, and it will be a total declass for him, as they wont make a brawl with him, but rather submit him in first round. Maybe his next opponent would be Poirier. But I think UFC are saving Poirier for McGregor.
For me, Makhachev is a real threat to Fiziev, and the level of wrestling for Chandler for me is not that much to the Dagestan wrestling of Makhachev, it is proven that Fiziev has great balance for takedown defense and I think Chandler will just be Clobbered by Fiziev when going for a takedown, Once Volk starts recycling the challengers of 145, there's no other way to go but to 155 and challenge all the killers there. Another loss for a Filipino boxer, its a clear statement that Ioka dominates the match and Nietes was experienced a hard time.
Very unfortunate to have back to back loss for a Filipino boxer, it looks like Nietes is already over. Its good though that Nietes was able to last until the final round, no more world champion and heart break loss for a Filipino boxer, not a good year for us.
It's clear that Kazuto Ioka is not slacking off when he lost to Donnie Nietes, he has 5 good fights but Donnie Nietes has only 2 fights 1 were a draw so the taken experience was really valid for Ioka, Nietes hasn't had enough fight, and forcing himself in a knockout win is a bad thing aswell, it really backfires on him, this is I don't like it when I was right, and for this fight, I can really feel a bad thing might happen, Nietes from their 1st fight is having a hard time and Kazuto Ioka is not really a push over, and for me Donnie Nietes after so many years in boxing I really think this is the time he can retire if he can not continue anymore,
This year has been really tough for Filipino boxers. I guess it isn't their lucky year. It was really a back to back lost which is heartbreaking. I thought Nieter would win this fight so there will be at least one Filipino to raise their flag in the boxing ring again. I hope that there will still be the hope of new winning for Filipinos in the next matches.
It is not the end of the world, I really think Filipinos are going to get back again, they only need to push further, I really think it is just a coincidence that back-to-back belts were taken from a Filipino boxer, for losing inside the ring, getting stripped of the belt, I really think there is a reason to this, and this is just a start of a new chapter I think there will be a time when a boxer will rise and get back the flag on the top of the sports again, I am sure of that,
We need to have another sets of trained fighters, our legends already falls and they can retire their gloves now, I'm speaking in regard to both Nietes and Donaire, they can follow the lead of Pacman they all represent our country with glory and there's nothing to ask from them, they've tried all the best and time for them to rest and enjoy a decent and simpler life.
Though in terms of Magsayo and all those young active fighters, they still have their time to regain and make our country proud again.
Maybe the year is not for the PH fighters, there is always a good time to improve and to win another title!
I agree, I really think Nietes needs to retire and call it over, but if he knows in himself that he can still fight then I really respect that, but for me enough is enough I think Donnie Nietes has shown enough he really needs to put his gloves down and just teach the younger generation that is willing to be like the champions, because even though this looks like over for the Legends a new generation of a champion can surely emerge, And for Mark Magsayo, he needs to pursue again and trained even harder, and for John Riel Casimero, I am really disappointed |

Thinking the same. Nietes carry a lot of responsibility on his shoulder now especially since we don't have any world champion now. He will revenge Magsayo's loss but on the way thru claiming another world title for the Phillipines. But this time, it's really hard to do it as he's now at the retirement point of his career and Ioka will fight him in front of his Japanese supporters.
I hope Nietes will upset Ioka on his home and bring the Philippines again to the list of having a world champion.
Donnie Nietes is looking for a knockout win, can he really do it, right now he is the only one with a title belt, and yes that is a big responsibility, after his fight with Kazuto Ioka Nietes just got 2 more fights he won against Pablo Carillo, and a draw against Norbelto Jimenez, while Kazuto Ioka has 5 matches after their fight and all are a victory for Ioka, I really think Ioka is a different fighter now than the Ioka he last fought back in 2018, and Nietes is on the brink of getting a retirement, sad to say but all those 5 opponent that Ioka fought only 1 was a push over but the preparation he just got in facing Nietes again is kind of remarkable, For me, this is going to be a hard fight for Donnie Nietes, after their fight, Kazuto Ioka is more active than Nietes, I hate to say this but this is likely a hard fight for Donnie Nietes, I will not put a bet for this fight but I really like Nietes to win this fight but my thought is this is a 50/50 for me Let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best for Nietes in his fight tomorrow.
