He has to take back those expenditures that he got.

And that's why he has to take any fight that will pay him good cut no matter who the challenger is. This won't matter to him anymore despite his titles and records.

He's also getting older but still on the shape, so if there will ever be any match for him, that can be just like a match of pride and glory for the challenger.

Well Magsayo after the fight with Vargas, said that he had talked to Pacquiao about his retirement, Mark Magsayo really wants another 1 fight for his idol to take before retiring for good, surely Magsayo just wants Manny Pacquiao to have a winning record first before retiring but yes Manny Pacquiao really knows his body pretty well, if he can still fight or not that will be his decision to make, I think Magsayo really wants to see a final last fight for Manny Pacquiao which is not really OK in my opinion,

For me, he can take an exhibition match but to return in an actual boxing match I think if he can not make a KO/TKO win over his opponent anymore it is really time to let go, but for me taking an exhibition match and getting money at the same time is pretty much OK with me,

I don't mind as the main purpose is for entertainment or possibly a charity event.  It was announced beforehand so it is to the fans to watch it or not.  As you see, they have this exhibition matches because it sells, if it doesn't then we can't see anything like that in the boxing industry.

I think it is OK for Manny Pacquiao to fight anybody, at 1st I am having doubts about who Pacman is going to fight, after seeing how DK Yoo fight against Bradley Scott a former UFC fighter, it was really awful and there are people that are saying DK Yoo won that fight because he got on his back the judges, and the whole crowd was for him, I think this is something outrageous, do you really want to see Manny Pacquiao in the same situation as Bradley Scott? a legendary boxer hitting an amateur boxer, and doesn't have real fights for his level of boxing, but yes I know this is just for entertainment purposes, but we can not really relate to what we are talking about if we have different points of view,

I understand your point and I do agree that it is better that way but I think I am more open to seeing different stuff than it should be  Cheesy.  Variations as long as it doesn't harm anyone make the game more entertaining that is what I believe in.

Well, the fight is already in motion so I guess let us just wait for it what will happen to the fight, or is it going to be a pass or not, but I am still watching the fight just because I am curious about it,

I don't mind as the main purpose is for entertainment or possibly a charity event.

You don't mind at all that's why you didn't understand why others are against the worst exhibition matches Grin The way you speak, it's clear you don't get the point of view of the real boxer's sentiment and real boxers' fan point of view. If exhibition matches are always welcome, why do you think there are lots of issues involved here?

If that's your view then I respect it of course but don't speak generally. If that's for a charity event, I will support it. If that's for entertainment only to make money, never mind.
from being a Manly sports , it became also for Women as boxing for women opened up and now here , as the pandemic closes money making for Boxing operators and management? they lure gamblers and fans in this kind of Funny exhibition games that for me isn't really caring for what boxing stands for as long as they are making money out of it.

I can feel your sentiment in this part mate and I agree and supporting your point .

In less than two weeks we can see a crossroad fight between former world champions Adrien Broner and Omar Figueroa. This should be fun to watch as both were entertaining fighters before. AB with his funny antics and trash talks while Figgy's hot sister might attend the press conference, weigh-in, and the fight. This may not be for world title contention but I felt this fight as more alluring than the fake fights of Jake Paul and Mayweather Sr.'s exhibition fights.

I think there is already a Women's boxing division, and the recent fight if I am not wrong was Franchón Crews-Dezurn VS Elin Cederroos on April 30, 2022, you haven't seen it because I think men boxers are more popular than men that is why there are not so much exposure for the sports in woman division, and Franchón Crews-Dezurn is the Super middleweight WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, title holder, and here is the LIST of woman who is currently holding a title belts

I am surprised after these two long rests from boxing I never thought that they still wants to continue their hold-up career, Adrien Broner after that fight with Pacquiao in 2019 had a long rest then comes back to fight Jovanie Santiago and won that fight, and after that an Omar Figueroa fight, if Adrien Broner won this fight I think we can surely say that this is his true comeback, While Omar Figueroa Sister was really legit hot, Omayra Liliane Figueroa surely has the body to die for and I will be expecting her to show up aswell on his Brother's fight, and this fight was set on August 20 on Florida, this could be a great fun fight to watch,

I can say he can be in perfect shape, but against a tough opponent it is unlikely for Manny Pacquiao to finish a KO/TKO like he used to, but yeah it is Manny Pacquiao who can fully understand his body and can have a say if he can still fight of not, and actually, it is good to retire with a winning record before a boxer retire but he can not push something if he can not really do it, but we can not know if this exhibition match is his conditioning for that 1 last fight,

Yes, women's boxing existed already many many years ago. And they also have their own superstars that are also more popular than most champions in men's boxing. The current biggest networks are DAZN, PBC (thru Showtime, Fox), and ESPN. DAZN got Katie Taylor and ESPN got Mikaela Mayer as main event fighters. Although it is not as popular as men's boxing who's biggest superstars will compete as the world's highest-paid athletes just like Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao. I think Canelo could take the highest-paid athlete this year if he didn't lose to Bivol.

I am surprised after these two long rests from boxing I never thought that they still wants to continue their hold-up career, Adrien Broner after that fight with Pacquiao in 2019 had a long rest then comes back to fight Jovanie Santiago and won that fight, and after that an Omar Figueroa fight, if Adrien Broner won this fight I think we can surely say that this is his true comeback, While Omar Figueroa Sister was really legit hot, Omayra Liliane Figueroa surely has the body to die for and I will be expecting her to show up aswell on his Brother's fight, and this fight was set on August 20 on Florida, this could be a great fun fight to watch,
I like this fight because it's like 50/50 IMO. Although I don't consider them as serious world title contenders at this stage. The current world champions will easily destroy them.

Oh yeah, I remember Figueroa's sister stealing the limelight during one of his fights. Others thought that it was Omar's gf, but it turns out to be his hot sister.

As for AB, yeah, even if he wins here, I guess his career is really over, he no longer generates the hype, About Billions? nah, ever since he lost against the hard hitting Maidana, it was over for him. Just fighting for scrap now, another of those story that didn't end very well for boxers because of their attitude.

I am actually hyped for this- given the downfall of Broner in his career, this might actually be the redemption that he is looking for.

I mean, we all know that AB almost copied his style from Mayweather's technique and skill. His move sets are somehow similar but the execution and punching power is still lacking compared to FM. But to be honest, we cannot deny that AB is still gifted and skillful- it is just that his methods and training consistency fell short when his career boomed.

Nevertheless, I will definitely keep this fight on my radar and watch it. I'll give my honest feedback about the match and see if AB can revive his career and from his slump.

I also don't think Pacquiao has become better than he was a year ago, but he has become a year older for sure, and if you look at his last fight with Ugas, you can see how much he misses punches, so everything will depend on the opponent he chooses, if of course he decides to fight.

Both fighters are in a desperate need to become relevant again, for AB who was a big deal while he was younger, it is another platform to prove that he still has some good few years ahead, while Figueroa will be looking to still prove a point that regardless of the mental, emotional and physical issues he has suffered so much in his career, that he still has it in him. Mentally both fighters are on the same level, owing that AB's last fight ended in a defeat to him likewise Figueroa. This fight is a matter of who wants it more.

I am looking forward to the fight as well, it will surely offer some entertainment and will not be one sided. However I predict AB to win this fight.

LOL Grin you got me there! I sure do hope that Omar's sister, Liliane, would attend the said press conference to make the event more hotter and interesting. Anyway, yes this will be a better fight and an entertaining one to see because of Broner's attitude and movement in the ring. I'm also looking forward to this match next month and not in less than 2 weeks.

It's hard to admit that fact that Manny can still be on the perfect shape if ever he takes a pro fight and assumes to win it.

The issue isn't all about money but just as said, about his winning retirement. It feels good when you're about to retire and your last match has won.

We don't know, but they're on this business for decades and understands it more and well than us.

I can say he can be in perfect shape, but against a tough opponent it is unlikely for Manny Pacquiao to finish a KO/TKO like he used to, but yeah it is Manny Pacquiao who can fully understand his body and can have a say if he can still fight of not, and actually, it is good to retire with a winning record before a boxer retire but he can not push something if he can not really do it, but we can not know if this exhibition match is his conditioning for that 1 last fight,
With those news that say that he's still going to fight, I guess that's already the clue that we'll see him once again in the ring and maybe not just for this YouTuber but also for another one.

He's that type of guy that would say something but eventually, he'll take it back just like the retirement.

Well, I wish him the best and hopefully he really gets the deserving win before his true and genuine retirement.

It's always a relief seeing these brash fighters losing badly. Adrien Broner losing to Maidana was one of the best feelings I had as a hardcore fan of boxing. A bad beating has psychological effects and many fighters were not the same in their next fights. That is why many top fighters need tune-up/s, especially when coming from tough defeats in order to recondition themselves but many of them cannot return to their former selves. And AB is one of them.

I think Broner's career as a world-level fighter is done already. Including Figgy too. They're still in their early 30s but I just think the fire is not there anymore. They're only here for money but of course, they will still do their best to win.

AB wanted to become the next Mayweather but in reality, I felt like they were nearly the opposite. He is arrogant but somehow he was not cherry-picking during his prime years and I give him credit for that. Moving up 2 divisions to fight then-world champion Paulie Malignaggi. And despite barely winning against Malignaggi, he picked a very dangerous opponent in Maidana in his first welterweight world title defense. These career moves were not Mayweatherish. Adrien was also exciting and brave inside the ring. Guy got a big heart when he continued fighting despite receiving too many heavy blows from Maidana. But somehow the heavy beating affected him mentally. He was never the same again.

I can't find the betting odds. But I think this is a 50/50 fight knowing both are equally inactive. Oddsmakers are probably having a hard time assessing both fighters. Adrien got better skills but if cannot move like before, Omar will have the advantage since he is the natural brawler of the two.

I am actually hyped for this- given the downfall of Broner in his career, this might actually be the redemption that he is looking for.

I mean, we all know that AB almost copied his style from Mayweather's technique and skill. His move sets are somehow similar but the execution and punching power is still lacking compared to FM. No hype for me, just wanted to see Broner losing this fight. I agree that the Maidana lost really put his career to a halt and yeah, every fans of the sports is very happy that time because Maidana put a beating on his loud mouth even becoming the meme up to this day.  And he is boxing for the money obviously, he has also a lot of litigation if I'm not mistaken, coming from his baby momma who he didn't give financial support and those jewelries he hasn't paid off.

This goes to show that boxing is not only for men, but boxing for women is already established long ago, and even though it is not that much popular as men's boxing, pretty much every woman in here really kicks ass,

Canelo is surprisingly popular even though he lost to Bivol, and I am really aware that Canelo doesn't really stand a chance against Bivol, but still, Canelo Alvarez is crazily popular and rich,

I like this fight because it's like 50/50 IMO. Although I don't consider them as serious world title contenders at this stage. The current world champions will easily destroy them.

I also think so, that long break that they have surely dwindle with their performance inside the ring, but if they can return that and feel the same vibe or be accustomed again inside the ring I think they can beat a near rank boxer, but yes a title belt match will be very questionable, but they can still try,

I also don't think Pacquiao has become better than he was a year ago, but he has become a year older for sure, and if you look at his last fight with Ugas, you can see how much he misses punches, so everything will depend on the opponent he chooses, if of course he decides to fight.

In my opinion, he can surely still fight even a retired boxer can still remember the thing he does during the fight, but this time with a dwindled speed, accuracy, and strength, during the Ugas fight Manny Pacquaio can really fight but his firepower is no more and Ugas is likely just ignoring Pacquaio punches like it is just nothing, and look at what happened to the eyes of Pacquiao after the fight with Ugas he can barely open it so he can not see a thing, this goes to show even his durability has dwindled aswell, so in my opinion, for me, Manny Pacquiao is now just for exhibition matches only,

For me, the level of Pacquiao right now is just for exhibition matches against retired Boxers, Retired MMA fighters in boxing matches, Youtuber that has trained in combat sports for a boxing challenge, or someone that has fame and wants to try Manny Pacquiao inside the ring, in my opinion after seeing him in his last fight as a professional boxer against Yordenis Ugas, I say to myself that this is the last for Manny Pacquiao, if he can not KO/TKO his opponent it is likely he is for retirement,

The disappointment of pacquaio failure in the presidential election of the philippines certainly allows him to return to the ring later, as someone who has had many titles and also a long boxing career of course pacquaio will not be able to easily get away from boxing gloves and his desire to fight, that's why I think that even though it will be an exhibition match that Pacquaio will play, we will surely see how fierce Pacquaio is in the ring like when he was young.
I think the fight against DK later will be an interesting fight even though the fight is only an exhibition and Pacquiao fans will certainly be satisfied with their idol's performance after a long absence.

Yeah, maybe that's the best reason why he is coming back in the sports. Thru exhibition fight with some South Korean youtuber and then probably get some good money too. I'm not seeing any competitive fights for him in the future, he is already in his 40's and maybe one risky fight might put a damage for him for good. So just take this opportunity, might be less money that a real boxing fight, but there is no risk in his health.

Basically, that's a good observation on him and I think many do think of the same as you on how it went with his last match.

And if he's ever going to have a match again, it should just be the match that he can really take. For me, it could be another title match or an exhibition, as in anything as long as he can take himself with.

A match that he really thinks that he can bring himself up again until his final word comes that he's good and ready to settle for real and no rumors or actual news to come out that he's out to fight.

To fully enjoy his retirement, he should be out of the boxing world as he is there for almost the entirety of his life. Retiring should be involved with other activities or tasks that he didn't able to do when he is active in boxing.

But that's his decision and we are just here to give comments.

I hope his exhibition match will be fun and will fulfill what's the real purpose of doing it.
