2941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 28, 2021, 07:28:56 AM
The winner of this exhibition match is not a question anymore.
This is tricky since there is a small possibility of draw. Like perhaps Floyd wants to give a friendly gesture to a non-pro fighter, a.k.a for fun.
Yeah, if no shenanigans, the champ would easily KO Logan in the first round. The question is, how serious this fight is going to be?

That's indeed the question.
We all know this is some kind of entertainment but also for money.
I won't have anything for Logan Paul fighting against top caliber pro boxers because he has talent in boxing as well, but that only depends If Floyd doesn't give him a friendly fight but a professional fight instead.
We finally can see what Logan is capable of in the boxing sports scene.

He is capable of boxing, but on winning against Mayweather, that's 1% chance only, just to be realistic because we know that Floyd would not be undefeated without a reason. If we want to see a fight like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nss6zonZ4YY), then we should support this fight.  Grin

2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 24, 2021, 12:21:33 PM
Wow, this guy (Tommy) is also a pro, this would be a great match.

His record is also impressive, 5 wins (4 KOs), this is pretty decent to match up Jake Paul's talent in boxing, I'd do a bet on this guy took.
source : https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/854141

More hype would bring more money, maybe these two will be interested and will make this fight realize.
If Tommy Fury is really skilled and talented i do not think Jake Paul will be interested in taking that fight, he will get many opponents that does not have the boxing skills and why should he take the difficult path and as long as he can make money boxing nobodies in the sweet science he will do so and he is smart enough to hand pick his opponents that will interest the audience as well.

Well, he already made a lot of money in his previous fights, time for him to challenge himself against a fighter with a good chance of beating him, we will know the update of this rumor soon, let's give Jake Paul a time to celebrate on his recent win.
2944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 23, 2021, 01:13:58 PM
~
I know how crazy the sports are becoming more of a fraud business nowadays than how sports has being played before.
These athletes deserves a lifetime ban from the game.

Talking about fixed games around the world in general, I wouldn't say that we have more fixed games today than we used to have in the past. Actually, I think it's the opposite: with cameras in everyone's pocket and with the ability of uploading videos on YouTube right away, performing a fraud is becoming harder and harder these days. There were tons of fixed games in the past, we just don't have records of them.

I agree with you, in the past a lot of fix games are happening that we don't know because we don't have an advance technology. Now, that we have cameras that we can close up and review how the players perform in the floor, it would be easy to detect if players are rigging games or not.

Maybe we didn't get interested with sports rigging issue that's why we got surprise with this news.

@Betwrong , you are right, there's a lot of video in youtube and I like watching all the conspiracy theories as its quite convincing to me.
2945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fee on: April 23, 2021, 12:21:58 PM
It's really annoying to see the fees reaching this high level. And we are not seeing this thing only for Bitcoin. Ethereum, Uniswap and Bitcoin are challenging against each other for the top place as far as I remember. This shouldn't be a problem in the future and people should be able to make their transactions comfortably (without paying high fees for even a small transaction). Transactions also take a long time when there is a high traffic on the network. It is another problem that should be solved.
I know, but you have to get used to it as it is what it is during the bull run, or during there's a panic as the blockchain is pretty much congested. This isn't permanent, let's wait until the market will settle down and we will see a normal fee again, for me $10 or more is not normal, so we have to see lower than that so transacting bitcoin would be affordable for everyone.
2946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 23, 2021, 11:55:47 AM
Rumours of Tommy Fury Vs Jake Paul which I'll be a little more interested in watching honestly. Hopefully not on Triller....

I was curious who Tommy Fury is, so I read the article (https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/14692074/jake-paul-tommy-fury-fight-tyson-michael-hunter/) to confirm about the rumor and also discover that Tommy Fury is the half brother of Tyson Fury, so this is great as Tyson could teach his brother on how to win the fight.
2947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 23, 2021, 11:39:21 AM
Yes, Floyd is 44 years old but he is not a damage good as let's say compare to Manny Pacquiao. He knows how to preserved his health inside the ring during his career. Can Logan train in couple of months to become as good as boxer as McGregor? It takes years to become a good boxer, and I don't think that Logan can suddenly be as good as Conor, not gonna happen. No one has cleanly hit Floyd in his career, suddenly this Logan will have a chance to just hit him? Floyd will dictate the fight here from the beginning, he will choose the fight that he will win. He dictate the tempo and let Logan gasses out, just like in the Conor fight.
Really depends on the money that is going to be on the line for Floyd, I am pretty sure that if the deal is sweet, maybe Floyd can be persuaded into doing something to propel Logan Paul's career in the boxing scene. I still have doubts with Logan Paul but I don't think that there is anything to worry.
There's nothing to worry because Logan Paul has nothing to loss here, he is just a youtuber that are trying his journey in boxing, and even if he is as successful as his brother in boxing, there's still no way that he can defeat an old Floyd, just a real talk.
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 23, 2021, 09:49:48 AM
and they want to chase their loses.

It's not because they just want to chase their loses. Those people who won big before like to experience it again so they will try to play over their limits. Others also don't want to cut their winning streak since why should they stopped if they are lucky.

That's a common situation already in gambling and even those professional ones are having a traits like that. For me, it's ok to play on limits as long as after doing gambling, they are in still on themselves without any changed towards their attitude.

That's another scenario, what I explain is if someone loses and loss control, they might chase their loses because they want to win back, and once a gambler loses control, he or she will never stop gambling until he win or he loss everything. That's the big risk in gambling but actually we can't blame it to the gambling site or the gambling itself, but ourselves, we are in control, so we have to be responsible.

Gambling is not a ponzi scheme or something that guarantees winnning, so let us not expect that we will win everytime.. yeah,  some came back to gamble, but they have to also accept loses and understand it's part of the game.
2949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gifting my little sister with Ethereum for her birthday on: April 23, 2021, 08:39:34 AM
That's a very generous gift, it's like you are giving your sister a land that will increase its value in the long run, better teach your sister to hold and accumulate so her holding will increase. I wish my siblings are interested in crypto, I could give them a little gift that they'll value.
2950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Below $50K as Market Sell-Off Continues on: April 23, 2021, 05:37:19 AM
Always do the right thing, don't just look at the price dumping, swapping your btc to usdt is the right thing to do while you continuesly monitor the market and just buy right away once you feel the market will start to recover. We have experience a huge drop, actually we are now below $50k, so there's really a panic happening here.
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 23, 2021, 05:13:48 AM
No Jayson Tatum, No Kemba Walker, No Jaylen Brown, Celtics will be too easy to handle for the Phoenix Suns.

On their first meeting, Sunx able to hold Celtics with a 10 point lead with Tatum and Kemba on board.

Don't risk for Moneyline with them.
Tatum and Walker played. Celtics at lead now with 10 points.
I don't think this will go the Suns way.
That's the problem with news they provide before the game. They put players in questionable status while they are totally healthy.
Celtics might win this one with Kemba on fire.

Mavs vs Lakers later. Don't miss it. A must win for the Mavs team so this game might go crazy tight.
Regarding the Mavs vs Lakers, will Anthony Davis suited up for this game? Reports are circulating that he might be playing tonight.

Yeah, Celtics already won by 13 points. Hope someone won because they are a underdog here.

Anthony Davis played a little but not well. Not very encouraging but nice to see him out there. The game is ending as I type this. A good ending so far, especially the part Montrez Harrell got hit in the face with the ball on a pass from Dennis Schroeder. Looks like Luka Doncic is going to bring home the win for the Dallas Mavericks though.

Dallas actually win, the ball movement is nice witnessed, Luka still luka with some magic but what I'm worried is that Porzingis   seened to have sprain his ankle, he did not anymore return in that game. Hopefully next time we will see some extended minutes from Davis. With this loss, Lakers dropped to rank number 5 with 35-24 record.
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 22, 2021, 09:44:43 PM
Why I don’t gamble with Bitcoin is because of the recent rise in the cause of transaction, I am more comfortable holding my Bitcoin and gamble with other coins must especially if the gambling site allows deposits of altcoins that are stable in price.
There's no altcoins that are stable, unless you are using stable coin itself, the popular stable coin is USDT and it's still high in transaction so you can use it in gambling as i think there are also few sites who are accepting usdt.

Yes there are sites who accept stable coin, if you are not comfortable using either  your BTC or any other alts then this options is good to go.

Especially if you are in a budget and don't want to over waste your fund, you can simply limit your budget each time you place your bets you know how much money you are already spending.

always depends from how gambler look at this point, there are always options to use.

Whatever the size of your bankroll, you still do the right budget, that's what you called responsible gambling, not by amount or figure, you manage your bankroll because you always want to gamble according to your limit only. Some gamblers just get out of their limit, not because they see the opportunity so they want ot gamble more, but because they loss control and they want to chase their loses.
2953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 22, 2021, 09:31:13 PM
Bitcoin is going down, it looks like we are seeing now the same scenario in 2017 bull run, after such of course the correction has been happening and it stayed long. As per https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT.. the 24 hours lowest price is 51,500.00 usd, so definitely we are so close of going down below $50k... hold tight fellas!

And it suddently touches $50k + now before it rise to $51k again. The trend currently is going down, we might see a bloodbath but it's not really that bad, the market is shaked, weak hands will panic and in return we will see a stronger market.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 22, 2021, 12:33:38 PM
Big possibility that if Haney will win it would be by decision and the only way for Linares to snatch this belt is via knockout and with that i think it would be wiser to wait for more options/market in the coming days as for sure that it would be more attractive than the ML.
If Haney can win this match just by decision then probably he has a higher chance of winning because if Haney is a good fighter then I think that he should account for the killer punch of Linares which I am pretty sure, he will be on the lookout. I would probably bet on Haney in this one.
Haney is very smart, he might be young but he is smart, so I'm really expecting he would not be careless here, however, I like Linares to pressure him so Linares will have a chance of beating Haney. I know everyone is on Haney because he is the favorite, but Linares also has a shot here, Haney needs to be careful in dealing with a more experience figher.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 22, 2021, 10:40:05 AM
Jazz won. GSW loss.
It's not easy to win a perfect bet now.
Teams had been fighting for a spot in the play-in tournament or just to protect their safe spot.
The 9th streak 30+ points of Steph Curry ended now against the Wizards. He's just off night or he might be exhausted.
Westbrook and Beal pressed R1 for a turbo mode with every lay up they did at the last minutes of the 4th quarter.  Grin No one can stop them when they are driving to the rim.

Westbrook is so good here, he is playing in MVP mode again, Mr Triple double is back, he scored 14 points, 10 assists, and 20 BIG REBOUNDS. I never seen anyone that is not a center who made 20 rebounds in a game, Westbrook is exceptional.
2956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My warning for you all. Alt season will begin soon!!! on: April 21, 2021, 01:56:56 PM
I think 2021 is really the best year for all altcoins, i mean not only top 5 in the marketcap, but almost all of the altcoins out there
breaking their All Time Highest (ATH) in this year, Of course this is not spared because Elon Musk Effect, since he has contributed and participated in cryptospace, namely bitcoin (BTC) and Tesla (TSLA), the price of altcoin prices in the market continues to soar.

If you were there in 2017, you'll have a hard time comparing the current situation, for me the best altcoins season was 2017 because even the shitcoin have pump and everyone makes money.  Grin.... As we can see, the market is still full of hype, so after this bull run, we must be ready to start accumlating as a big correction is enevitable.
2957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could DOGE could reach 1$...? on: April 21, 2021, 12:38:28 PM
No product, no fundamentals but only hype make everything possible in crypto. Enjoy the ride with the meme coins.

That must the one of the reasons why government does not want to support crypto. Who would wish to have such an uncontrolled asset by neighborhood? This cant be controlled or stabilized.

Year ago, I considered dogecoin as just a joke, or an opportunity to make fast and cheap transactions only. Now it a top speculative altcoin that can and already made a lot of people rich. I would not be surprised, if DOGE not only reaches $1, but easily passes that price and continues to grow.

Despite seeing this price, all I have in my heart now is envy, I blame myself why I did not hold DOGE when it was so cheap before, maybe experts are not really right all the time, or even most of the time as no one though DOGE would be so valuable right now, except Elon Musk. lol..

Right now, it's dumping but I would never touch it, I just watch it pump and dump, and maybe try to buy when it will become worthless again.

f(x) The Mainnet launch Let the countdown begin.

Launch introduction
Function X Mainnet will be going live.
The team will do a step-up Mainnet launch, whereby you will see a multi-stage launch. A multi-stage launch ensures better security, adoption, and exposure. In Stage 1 of this multi-stage launch we introduce the delegation of FX tokens into validators to help secure the Function X Mainnet. We call this first stage “Governance of FXCore”.

Details: https://medium.com/functionx/f-x-the-mainnet-launch-f6ea599beb75

Thanks for sharing, looks like the news really help, Pundix now up by 16% (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pundix-new), probably this is just the beginning, maybe soon we will get to $10. Just hold up, we are getting big updates from the team, going mainnet is such a big thing.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 20, 2021, 10:15:05 PM
Took the day off yesterday, but there are still limited games to select from today, however, I've decided to go with the super hot New Yorks Knicks tonight, they've put up a stellar performance over the past few games, I expect the momentum to continue tonight against the Hornets.

Bet: Knicks -4.5

Good luck @Harkorede, I got the same bet and the same reason why I put on the Knicks today. Until Knicks will start losing again, I guess it's not a good idea to bet against them, and though the spread is quite high, but I'm confident they'll win and cover that at home.
2960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 20, 2021, 09:58:55 PM
Until now I still like betting using bitcoin, many think when the price of bitcoin is high it would be better to hold it. But, for me personally it would be better to keep betting, I realize the risk is to lose but I don't care about it, because if I can keep my betting rhythm then I won't have a losing streak because on the contrary, I will keep trying hard to increase it by win gradually.
Actually you can do both, if you really believe on investing in bitcoin then you can separate what you use in gambling and what you hold, that's so simple, there's nothing to sacrifice, because at the end of the day, being a gambler we just want to enjoy and be happy with our passion.
